Disappointing

A nice, clean hotel but with terrible wifi / internet reception in my room. The receptionist refused to move me to another room. Very unhelpful. No empathy whatsoever. The receptionist on checkout however was the complete opposite. A young man with dark curly hair - thank you so much for listening to me.
Breakfast was nice except for the rather strange textured scrambled eggs. The staff worked hard to keep the tables cleared and the food stocked.
A good location 5 minutes from the railway station and the same away from the shops.
Not recommended however if you wish to stay in contact with your family and friends, or get some work done.

There was a number of restaurants nearby. Air conditioning is not really functional. Rooms were clean, but old. Prices for a property of that location were on the higher side. Finding the hotel was a unique challenge. It took 3-4 trips around the block to get to the hotel. The staff were quite nice and very accommodating.

Warning - there is public on street parking which is free overnight. That said - be aware that when we were there it was very noisy. We needed to leave the windows open to cool the room as the A/c was barely working.

I chose to return to this hotel as I so enjoyed it the previous week and as it had a restaurant “Au Bureau” at the end of the road and I wasn’t disappointed. friendly check in, nice room (with - yippee- bath tub. comfy bed, nice view from 3rd floor with shutters and opening window. recently redecorated and very smart. enjoyed ribs and excellent local riesling at Au B followed by good night’s sleep. train leaving at 07.10 meant I couldn’t have breakfast but, the hotel being only a few hundred yards from the main train station, meant that I didn’t have to leave until ten minutes before- once again recommend for quality, condition, location and nearby restaurants

Very bad experience. I did not get the room i booked and was not offered any kind of compensation. Not even a free breakfast.
Noise insulation to this hotel is an unknown word.
On the check out on 01/31, the front desk was unpolite and needs to change job.

Spacious and comfortable in a good situation with easy access to city centre and a pleasant breakfast area.

I was not impressed by the shower unit, which had a faulty shower nozzle which made it difficult to have a relaxing shower after a long journey.

ミュルーズ駅の徒歩圏内にあり、レストランやお店にも近く便利な立地でした。バーゼル方面に用がありましたが、バーゼルに泊まるよりもかなり費用を抑えることができました。バーゼルまでは電車で30分ほどでした。部屋は綺麗で必要なものは揃っていました。唯一の欠点はカーテンがなく、寝る時に外が眩しく睡眠が妨害されたことです。あとフロントの上の部屋だったので人が来るたびにベルの音が自動的になり、夜になってもそれがうるさかったことです。それから、掃除不要の札を出していたのに勝手に部屋に入られて掃除されていました。
部屋にはテレビもあり、カーテンと音以外はとても快適に過ごせました。

I specifically required parking when I searched on Expedia for a hotel. When we arrived there was no parking and in the 5 minutes we spoke with the hotel clerk, we were assessed a 25€ parking ticket. I find this unacceptable.

What I liked: The hotel is located near the main railway station, which is good for travelling by train to various places in Alsace, and also very close to city center. The room is spacious. The WiFi connection is good. The breakfast includes a good variety of food. The room has tea maker.
What I didn't like: During the 2 night stay, the room was never cleaned. The bed sheets were stained. The view from my room window was to an ugly inner courtyard. The room lighting was pretty bad. At check-out, the person from the reception didn't speak English and didn't understand my complaints about the room.

Pros: excellent value for money; clean rooms with good natural light; good radiators heating (I stayed in Mulhouse in another hotel, more frills and more expensive but it was cold); conclusion: out of 3 budget hotels I tried in Mulhouse this is the best.
Cons: the breakfast a bit expensive for what it is; lack of a bar if you want to have a beer in the evening...

Sheets had hair on them. Looked like they were not changed. Front desk was helpful in searching for clean sheets but it took a while to find the correct size as it was after hours and we checked in late.
Shower had no curtain or walls to prevent water from going everywhere. This would have been less of an issue if there was a drain for the water on the floor but there was none. The water collected into large puddles and had to be cleaned with our towels.

Worst WiFi ever! Could not use.

Great location. Easy walk from train station and to city center. Room nice. Stay ruined due to horrible WiFi connection. Staff would not admit there was a problem and said “everyone in the hotel has WiFi” implying I was the only one who had problems. Utter nonsense. Didn’t work in lobby before check in and at any time in room. Said connected (with only 2 bars) but no websites would open.
Staff indifferent, not welcoming and did not speak or understand English. At least we could communicate in German. Very disappointed. Would not recommend if you need a good WiFi connection for business or travel information. Very annoyed with staff attitude regarding this.

The hotel was nice for a single night's stay. They need to rethink the shower floor. Slick, golf ball-sized lumps in the floor are not conducive to staying upright. Neither of us fell but it seems like that might happen in the future.

Alright for an overnight stay

Hotel was generally good however found the check in staff and process a bit odd. We arrived early and before having a chance to say we just wanted to store our bag were piunted to the clock and told check inn 3.00pm, actually on Expedia 2.30pm. We’re there just before 3pm and had we not asked would still be sitting there I’m sure. TV reception was that bad on all channels could not watch anything. Breakfast was good as was room only a little small.

Lovely staying, beautiful building and surrounding area. My room was pretty and clean, the bed comfortable. Quiet area but central, nice view from the window. Concierge service out of hours, so nice. The breakfast room was picture perfect and I was sorry I could not stay to enjoy it in the morning.

Nice hotel for an overnight stopover

It was nice to be able to park outside the hotel although we had to ask as there were no signs indicating this. The Hotel and room was nice but looked a little tired. It is situated just off the town centre which was handy for getting something to eat as we arrived during the evening. We were a little disappointed as we were told that it was a triple room with a queen and single bed, however, there were 3 single beds, two of which were pushed together but still singles nevertheless. We had free wifi and tea and coffee making facilities which was lovely after travelling all day from the UK. The bathroom was lovely! We did not have breakfast so cannot comment.

A good hotel in a perfect location.

Perfect location, easy access to the old city center, the train station, the tramway. Nicely decorated room, clean, confortable. We enjoyed a nice continental buffet breakfast. Very nice staff at both the reception and the breakfast room.
The only criticism is the carpet in the corridor on the 3rd floor is very tired, it need updating which is possibly in the pipeline as the room looked recently renovated.

Comfortable hotel in an excellent location

The hotel is very close to the train station and to Place de la Republique. Near by are some very good restaurants and all is within walking distance. The actual property is in an older building and I have no idea if it started out as a hotel or that occurred as as after thought. Our room was large, with a faux wood floor. The bed was comfortable. Closet space was adequate Only the design of the bathroom was a bit quirky but we are or were in France and French plumbing is different - so who knows! The WiFi worked well. All in all this is a comfortable hotel in an excellent location but it is not a deluxe hotel. I would stay here again

Convenient and comfy

Stayed for a night on our road trip through Alsace and it was perfect for a stop. The staff was very friendly and the city street parking is free overnight until 9 am (or you can pay to use their parking spots right next to the hotel). The room itself was comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet hotel within walking distance of town/trams

We stayed 3 nights here, it was a comfortable stay, the room was quiet so we could sleep, yet it was within walking distance of the town centre restaurants, Christmas market and shops. The tram stop is about 3 minutes away which takes you to the museums within 20 minutes and the railway station (where one can catch TGV trains) is 10 minutes walk away.

Old Body Sweat-Stained Mattresses

Lift the sheets and you will see very aged mattress, very discoloured, with imprint of human shape from years of perspiration by those who slept there. We had several rooms and all of the mattresses were the same. Management is friendly.

Very exciting! Burglar alarm went off at 2.00am and all residents were sent outside in the street. False alarm and communication with staff was poor. Alarm went off again at 6.00am, false alarm again. No parking provided. No bar. Only 1 member of staff on at anytime. Breakfast was appalling and expensive. Will not be returning

Good location / Friendly and helpful staff. The bedroom safe easily slid around the cupboard and was not secured. The water ran away very slowly from the sink.
It was very expensive as I guess prices were inflated for a nearby exhibition. 450 euros - 2 nights

A nice hotel very close to train station. I stayed here because I couldn't find a room in nearby Basel, Switzerland but I enjoyed Mulhouse quite a bit. This hotel was perfect for that since it's close to train. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. My room very clean, bathroom was large and well lit.

It's not much, but I guess you get what you pay for. The walls are pretty thin. Can't remember if there was supposed to be AC, but there wasn't any. Bed was OK.

Breakfast is €11 for typical European breakfast. So, we walked down the street and got one for €2.

Very good customer service; the staff was very kind and welcoming. Located a short distance from the train station and the tram line, as well as within walking distance to center of town/shopping area. Our room was a triple bed with a desk and plenty of outlets. The windows were large and we had a great view of the city when we opened the windows. Bathroom was spacious with a towel warmer and tub/shower combo. The only negative thing was one of the hotel front desk employees had very bad body odor on more than one occasion, and the only reason I mention it is it could reflect poorly on the hotel's image. The breakfast was quite nice as well; variety of cheeses, cereals, breads, jams, drinks, fruit and hard-boiled eggs. We stayed in several hotels throughout France and Belgium in a two-week trip and this hotel was by far our favorite; it had a nice, homey, welcoming feel to it.

Staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is that the bathroom needed a hook for hanging your dressing gown or a chair to put it on. There is never a hook or chair in hotel rooms. You have nowhere to put your clothes.

We had difficulty in finding the hotel due to diversions in the Town Centre but once there were very pleased with the Hotel.
It was very clean and comfortable and usefully close to the town centre and a good range of restaurants.

The convenience of this hotel to the town centre and railway station and the charm and helpfulness of the staff compensated for the tired physical feel of the hotel. The bedroom was spartan but adequate for a short stay: the beds were fine and I slept well and the breakfast was good, so the basics were covered.

Convenient Location

Although a bit old, this hotel is clean. The room is quiet and you will not hear outside traffic noise despite the fact that it is close to the train station. The only thing I do not like about this hotel is that there is no adjacent parking garage or secured parking spot. We have to park our car on the street. Nothing happened to our car though. I just hate to pay the 800 euro deductible in case something happens.
