An easy 10 minute walk from the train station and very close to the town centre, it came with a very pleasant welcome from Harold on reception (a credit to the hotel speaking excellent English for a self-taught Cote d'Ivoirian!)

Top location. Lady on reception was very friendly and helpful . Even issued me a parking slot , in underground parking. So motorcycle was safe , thanks for that.

Only things is , you need to wash all plates and cutlery , basically if you using kitchen you need to left it cleans it was . otherwise they will charge you 40 euros.

What a gem!

A real find! Clean, spacious room. Lift. Good value breakfast (€11). Helpful staff. Not just kettle and coffee-maker, but microwave, hob with two rings, and fridge (plus crockery and basic utensils). NB Shower is in the bath.

Room flooded, no meaningful compensation

Came back to my room at 12am and found it flooded due to a leaking water heater. No staff to help me; had to find a phone number to call.
My suitcase was all wet as well but at least no significant damage up my belongings.
Following instructions I had to locate a security box and find the master key, all by myself, and move myself to another room at 1am.
I could barely sleep that night, despite having to get I at 5am to catch the train.
They refunded one night, which was THE BARE MINIMUM they could do, and gave me a voucher I won’t be able to use.
Thei inconvenience was unacceptable and a great source of anxiety that night.
Also, receptionist smokes at the hotel entrance, blocking the door. Not a good look.

Apartment is great size for two.

Main living area. TV, sofa bed, desk/dressing table, coffee table, dining table and four chairs.

Kitchen area - well equipped - large fridge, kettle, coffee machine (pods at reception for 50 cents) microwave, dishwasher, crockery, utensils etc.

Toilet and bathroom- toilet separate to the bathroom which was good. A good sized cupboard under the sink and a mirror with good lighting. Plenty of towels.

Bedroom - TV, comfortable and clean.

Two large wardrobes with hangers. One in living area, one in a separate dressing room with a chair and plenty of room for suitcases.

Decor is dated, but the room was quiet and cool (often too cool but would be ideal in the summer). Plenty of sockets and lights.

Reception staff - friendly and welcoming.

Excellent location - close to trains, trams and centre.

Negatives - the shower, over the bath, had a good shower head and plenty of hot water, but no bracket on the wall so you could not shower with your hands free. The bath did not have a plug so you couldn’t use the bath as a bath. The bathroom was quite cold and the heater in the bathroom didn’t work.

The heater in the living room was out of use. Only useable heater was in the bedroom. The heat didn’t spread well to the other rooms so you’d end up with a hot bedroom and cold elsewhere.

The only usable mirror was in bathroom. There is one at the entrance but there is no light.

I recommend and would stay there again.

Perfectly pleasant place which is well located near the station, It is handy for the tram to take you to the train musuem or the Car museum. We had the breakfast, which was was perfectly adequate buffet. The staff, particulary Harold who checked us in on the evening we arrived.were very helpful, and English was widely spokenThe room was pretty basic, a little tired, but clean with enough space for the 3 single blokes that made up our party but it could have used some decent sized glasses. No English channels on the TV. There are several reasonable restaurants situated close by as well as a carrefour local corner shop which is well stocked. No great issues at all, it's a cheap basic place.

A good hotel for a short stay. Clean, quiet (although we were way up in the 5th floor, so no street noise), and comfortable rooms. The reception is closed in the middle of the day which makes it difficult to leave your luggage if you need that. It was nice to be close to the train station.

Left my stuff in storage apparently the only other person to enter after me didn’t rummage throw my stuff and steal from me. Staff tried to make me seem like I was the idiot in the situation her poo service if they did this in storage I would watch for your valuables in your room. No help no offer of some sort of here is a deal or money off your stay we regret something to keep a customer. It sucks being gaslight. Come here at your own risk

Pictures a bit misleading, but still good value

Our apartment was definitely a lot more dated than the one shown in the Hotels.com pictures, so that’s a bit misleading. Second room with the bunk bed actually had no window for example. However, for an overnight stop to accommodate five people I think the ResidHotel still offers good value. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The lad at reception could not have been more helpful, and the location is pretty good. We also used their secure onsite parking.

There was a strong pungent smell of damp in the room. The whole floor including corridor were full of smell. The toilet exhaust fan was not working. The minimum temperature for air conditioning was 21. The parking lights were not working. All night there were loud noises coming from different rooms and no body was available to take the complaints.

Overall it was poor experience. I booked it for three nights but stayed there only one night. I complaint using the Expedia message but received no response of messages.

I hope they fix this up a little

The location was amazing. The parking is limited so make sure to book asap. $10. The AC was great. . Tv was good. The bad.. the elevator was broke and we were on the 5th floor. They offered no discount or even free coffee.. we were told our room was ready 3 times and after walking up 87 steps up we find out its not. Down up down up.The laundry listed is in a basment dungeon that is wet and dark. It costs 4$. The check in time was listed at 4 but it was closer to 5. The shower is beat up and you have to hold up the hose to get your head.

Location and staff were good. Had to walk through a very dark parking area to get to hallway where room was located. The room was quite old looking but seemed clean enough. We had to purchase coffee, which would have been fine, however the electrical outlet in the kitchen didn’t work and when we moved the coffee maker to a different spot…the only bedside table, it would not actually make a cup of coffee. The heater in the bathroom would not create any heat, and the shower was only handheld.

The bed is terrible. It has not improved its quality. The centre of the bed sinks a lot and it hurts so much my back that I didn’t rest well during my stay in Mulhouse and hence disrupts my trip a lot.
With such price per night, I later found that there are better options nearby and hence upset me.
However, these complaints are directed at the facility rather than the staff. The staff was helpful but they could not change the quality of the bed.

First impression it looked like a youth hostel and after we got to our rooms the impression didn't change. Room was sparse, bed uncomfortable, the curtains were hanging off the wall, and not very clean. Would not recommend this hotel. Only saving grace was it's proximity to the old town and the Christmas Market. Was embarrassed as we had brought friends along with us. Overall not a great experience. Can't understand how it was rated so highly on Hotels.com

Huge problem checking in. Note that since March due to Covid their reception closes at 17:00 whilst description notes 22:30.
A solution was found but it was email that had gone to my spam and hadn't even uploaded.
Finally rang an emergency number and someone appeared.
Nice apartment -quiet - good location- no complaints just the check in process.

We were so underwhelmed by this property. We booked the apartment, the bunk/twin beds were in a windowless room, the apartment was very dated and the bathroom is in need over a renovation. Parking on site is a minimal and was 'not available' when we arrived, but after pushing it became available... I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it.

The hotel has studio apartments with the ability to cook a small meal. The room was a good size and the bathroom was good. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is her close to the downtown core. We took advantage of booking breakfast with our room, it had the usual French options. We would stay here again.

Not my first stay here, but my last. Last time we saw the room before taking it - and I wrote an excellent review for the fresh, clean room we enjoyed. Oops! Not all rooms are the same!

My first night was spent in a grungy room with filthy curtains still mostly hanging and the stench of stale smoke. I was delayed and arrived after 10:30 pm, so no one available to talk to and the only phone number I was provided with was the abandoned front desk. I got little sleep that night, but was just glad to have gotten inside with the help of another guest who was able to retrieve my key. Still not sure how that worked... The next day I moved to a better room, but still sparse and in need of a deep cleaning. NOT my former experience, or I wouldn’t have returned.

Not wanting the hassle of moving I requested an additional night in the somewhat better room for the same price. I received no apology, only poor excuses (no, they can’t control guests who smoke, but charge cleaning fees - so clean it. Yes, there’s an emergency number for after hour issues - but I wasn’t given it, so how could I be responsible for not using it?). After debating with the manager he finally agreed and even lowered the rate slightly. That should have been a given. On the upside, reception staff were great.

Clearly, booking a room at this hotel without seeing it first is a gamble. And the hotels response was challenging. Keep your expectations low and fingers crossed.

Comfortable, clean and easy

The room was very spacious (we were in 4) the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the shutters were excellent (with slats so you could leave window open but closed at the same time). The rooms were very good value, however, the food was quite expensive but very filling. We would definitely come back and stay the night but have less to eat as portions very large.

Fine, spacious rooms for a family of 6. Very good value for money. Only minor point was we arrived late in the evening and there were no parking spaces so had to drop off and go park elsewhere which was a bit inconvenient with small children. We only stayed one night but it looked like a great location for exploring if we come this way again.

Great weekend stay. like living in town.

Really enjoyed the hotel. Very close to a grocery store. Having the kitchen was great; made my own breakfast and coffee. Bed very comfortable. Service was great. Lighting in the hall was a little weird; it on a motion detector. Laundry is in the basement, but its a little creepy down there! Close to stores and shopping. Parking is available in rear of hotel for small cars. I had no problem parking in the street. great Wifi

The ResidHotel has a very good location, closer to the city centre, restaurants, coffee shops and is 5 minutes from the station. There is a mini market behind them too.
The studio has a good size for a couple and the kitchenette has everything you need. The unique improvement will be the bed once the mattress is not comfortable and the pillows are very small like for a baby. The staff is friendly.

However, this happened only first time to me though, the first night all in a sudden all water supply has stopped right after I've flushed the toilet. As this was after the front desk was closed, I could do nothing until the next morning.

This review is for the second time we stayed at this hotel. This stay was a bit different than the first. Our room ran out of hot water very quickly and couldn't be fixed from what we understood. We were offered another room but we'd already unpacked our luggage so instead the other room could be used for a hot shower. This made things tricky in the kitchenette which was a bit dirty (the dishes from previous guest) as we didn't have hot water to wash things. Eventually the hot water came back but wasn't consistent. I did give a higher rating as the staff held our luggage between our two stays which was terrific!

We stayed here twice actually - this review is for the first time. We were able to safely ship some things to the hotels and have them held until we arrived which made the transition perfect! The staff was great on this! We got the buffet breakfast each day which was good and provided plenty of food. The room was clean except for the kitchenette. Overall it was fine but the dishes are left for the people staying there to clean and I don't think they are checked by the hotel enough perhaps. Otherwise great stay and caused us to book again for our way back through Mulhouse.

The staff was very unfriendly and took very long to check us in, there was a long queue of people as there was only one staff at the checkin desk.
We requested non-smoking room and there was a sign on the door indicating that it was a non-smoking room. However, as we got in, the room had very strong cigarette smell. We came to see the receptionist and told him about it and he was like 'oh ok, so ?...' and looked at us as if we were being stupid for expecting an apology or any help from him to solve the problem.

The room itself was ok, the TV was tiny, the bed was ok, it was a double bed room but only had one chair (?!). The water was unstable, I couldnt take a shower as the hot water ran out so I had to wait until the morning after to have a shower

The actual hotel was fine no problems, very spacious great to have your own kitchen, however I had the worst nights sleep I have ever had at the hotel.

This was not due to the hotel, rather the nightclub which is right next to it, on the Saturday night people were very loud fighting till 5am in the morning the police were called, with their sirens blairing, spraying pepper spray everywhere.

Cars were damaged on the street outside the hotel, so make sure you move your car into the hotel car park.

Once again the hotel was nice however totally avoid staying there Friday and Saturday if you want a peaceful nights sleep

good location - parking not always available

I only needed an overnight stay in Mulhouse. Hotels.com stated that there was parking, but when I arrived, the front desk said that the parking spaces were all taken. I had to park in a public parking garage 10 minutes away (by foot). It cost EUR 9.70 for one night of parking. This is not a problem, but it was annoying. The internet was a bit slow. The furnishings were \"cheap\", but it was clean and location was very good - very close to the centre of town and close to good restaurants. Breakfast was traditional French breakfast. Nice and friendly staff.

It depends on the room you get as to what you think of this place. Stayed two weeks ago and room was much better, this time it lacked a chair to sit on, no hairdryer or toaster or kettle or tea/coffee. Good location to wander around town, room was fine for an overnight stay and meant we could get food from local supermarket just round the corner. Check you are given a receipt though for any payment, some confusion over whether we had already paid or not which continued the next morning again even after having paid night before.

Great location, friendly staff, good secure parking facilities (plenty of room for our estate) and large rooms.
Only downside was slightly hard bed and room smelt slightly of smoke (left windows open, which helped!).

Brilliant Location, Brilliant Stay!

Mulhouse is a lovely place and Residhotel Mulhouse Centre is a brillaint place to stay. 1 Stop from the main station on the tram taking 2 minutes and a very short walk from the tram stop or a 10 minute walk from the station. The hotel is minutes away from a Carrefour Supermarket which is good if you are wanting to cook your own meals as Residhotel Mulhouse Centre has a kitchen area in you room.
The staff were brilliant and spoke excellent English and were overall very helpful. The room was spotless and a good size, there was a car park, washing facilities for your clothes and games to hire from reception.
The only down side was the heat during our stay but a fan was provided in the room which was very nice.
Overall a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Great little apartment close to grocery store

We have stayed here before and I'll do it again. The Carrefour right next door is crazy convenient for buying groceries. Look out as it says it closes at 11pm but they actually close at 9pm. It's a very easy walk to the train station, and close to the tram, but Mulhouse is so small you don't need it very often. The Train and Electric Museum were fun to visit with our kids. We worked in Basel and took the train there each day and saved tons of money. Just watch out, if you stay out late late you will miss the last train back. The kitchen in the hotel is ideal, decent small fridge and powerful microwave. Pillows are pretty bad quality but that's not rare, just bring your own if you really care. Bathtub there is terrific, deep and lots of hot water.

The hotel is very centrally located, however getting there can be tricky at least our navigator made it that way. The rooms are larger than typical European hotel rooms, but minimally furnished and the photos here are quite appropriate. Room amenities were well maintained yet very basic - we had a queen bed which was pretty uncomfortable and the pillows tiny and flimsy. We bought breakfast one morning at the hotel which cost 8.50 Euros per person and was minimal - they served a selection of yogurts and jams, regular and chocolate croissants and boiled eggs. In our experience, we got to converse with several people on the staff and they were all very helpful and spoke sufficient English for us to manage. I know I won't stay here again primarily because we just found the experience lacking in ways a proper hotel would be able to service better, but the place might be very convenient for others looking for some extra space and kitchenette features.

We only stayed in the hotel for one night but I would have been happy to stay longer. I would recommend this place for people travelling with families as each room has a kitchen with all appliances. The hotel is clean and conveniently located. I thought that the hotel was a great value and would be happy to stay again.

Excellent stay

We were in Mulhouse for 2 days. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and a lot larger then what we were expecting after the hotels in Paris. Hotel is just a few minutes walk from downtown, with easy access to lots of restaurants.

arrival at the hotel in the afternoon, no parking reserve event my previous request , receptioniste try to convince me to take the parking in public area, I've to insiste to get one parking at the hotel.
no room available with queen bed as requested, I've to accept twin-bed for first night (room no. 309) and changing room (room no. 407) on next day.
after all this...other things are raisonable, all the housekeepers done a very good works.
only cold breakfast buffet for 8.50 euro.
great place to stay in the center of Mulhouse, I'll book this hotel next time, cause now I khew how to deal with the hotel.

Ideal location but request a room at rear of hotel

Newly refurbished so all clean and well equipped large room with comfortable bed. No armchair and only lighting over bed or in kitchenette area so rest of room becomes too dark to read in evening. Only French programmes on TV. Very nice bathroom with very efficient towel heater,bath and shower.
Downside is no air-con and temp reached 35C so had to open windows all night. The road is very noisy with partygoers shouting and driving scooters and cars up and down until 3:00am. Heavy traffic noise seemed to start again around 5:00am. Disco two doors away, no music noise but lots of excitement outside so request a room at back of building. Location otherwise perfect only 100 yards from small Carrefour, trams and buses and on edge of beautiful old town, close to rail station and main part of town with many shops.

Just OK

As stated, the upsides of the hotel are the kitchen facilities in the room and the location. The room was stuffy, not well ventilated, a bit dingy and difficult to sleep in with the windows open because of the noise. And, you HAD to have the windows open because there was no climate control and poor ventilation. No bathroom amenities as one usually sees in a three star hotel, such as hairdryer. Also, the staff was pretty nice. Breakfast overpriced.
