A door immediately below our room slammed shut and bounced back and forth every few minutes until well after midnight. It started again around 5am.

Pretty position near centre of Mulhouse.
Really nicely designed entrance, reception, bar, restaurant area promises a really nice hotel. In reality the room was absolutely BASIC. Not a single frill or extra.
Also one BIG mistake. It was a double room, we are a couple and the double bed was jammed firmly against one wall. This made accessing one side of the bed impossible. OK maybe if you are young and agile, but difficult with a little reduced mobility.
Which is odd as it was a room for people with reduced mobility.

J’ai dû changer 3 fois de chambre car les deux premières étaient infestées de puces dans le lit, sur les rideaux, sur les meubles !!!
Le personnel du soir était à peine aimable pour me reloger. Ne se sont même pas excusés. Inadmissible. Honteux. Et l’hôtel est sale et vieux. Fuyez cet établissement

Don’t go into that hotel. I had to change rooms three times because of fleas in the bed, on curtains and on furniture. Terrible. And employees did not even apologize ! Unacceptable.
Run away from that hotel.
And the place is dirty and old. Burk !

Booked and paid ahead of time on Expedia. Hotel had the reservation at checkin. At checkout the next morning, they claimed to have no record of payment and charged us again. Neither Expedia nor the hotel has moved to correct this even after multiple contacts with each.

The room and bathroom were very small, but we loved our view overlooking the canal, and had a nice morning walk along it before checking out.
Breakfast food was very good: cheeses, breads, meats, fruits, cakes, yoghurts, but beware hazards of in-and-out sliding boards along service area, making tray support precarious while reaching for items.
Next door to old wool factory, La Filature, now an arts centre.

The waitress was totally ignorant not only to us but all guests keeping them waiting whilst canoodling with her boyfriend. The receptionist was trying to cover for her but her behavious was totally unacceptable. The food when it finally came was basic and just warm expected more from this hotel. No cognac and effort made to provide alternative too interested in her male companion. Would not recommend this hotel.

I only stayed 1 night here, and the only reason I stayed was for an opera at the opera venue next door. Major problem was that WiFi did not work for me during my stay. Reception could not resolve the problem. After my stay, I was able to contact my wireless provider and figured out how to solve the problem in the future. In case anyone else encounters this issue (and the hotel should advise guests who have this problem also), completely turn off your phone, turn it back on, and check your WiFi settings. Reception was helpful with everything else. Besides opera, not much else in the immediate area.

This was an excellent choice for our 4 day break in Mulhouse, giving great value for money regarding location, room, comfort & cleanliness.
Breakfast at €9.90 per person may be considered expensive for a continental breakfast however, was good value for the excellent wide choice of food available.
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
Car parking (€9.00 per night) also very good value (self contained,secure, wide spaces).

A nice, quiet and friendly hotel, but not central

I chose this hotel for a one night stay before my flight from Euro Airport Basel Mulhouse because of its proximity to the city center. Unfortunately this is not exactly the case. You have to either walk 1.8 km from the Mulhouse central station, or change 2 trams (one of which, especially on Sunday, comes at 20-35 minute intervals), after which again you also have to walk over 400 m to get to the hotel.

But apart from that everything else I can say about the hotel, is nice. It's comfortable, it's clean, beds are nice, air-conditioning is good, wi-fi is fast, receptionists are friendly, the check-in process is great, it's quiet at night, you have a park with a lake just in front of the hotel... So if you need to stay in Mulhouse - this hotel will give you the comfort you need, and won't break your budget.

Definitely recommended - despite the slight discomfort with the location.

We stayed there only for one night and we are really happy that it wasn't longer!
The hotel is really nice and the service is great. We ate a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant (sadly no one from the restaurant staff spoke English and menu was only in French, but the food was lovely !)The buffet breakfast was really nice. But when it goes to the room- it was a nightmare for us. The room was really tiny, there was no space to put our suitcase in and no space to do anything else apart from laying on the bed! We also had a tiny pull out bed for our son squeezed under the window which made the room even smaller! The bed is no good for kids as it has a wooden shelf just 20 cm above! My son hit his head several times and we finally swapped places.There was no duvet for my son ! only a single sheet !!! And a dusty, smelly blanket !!! This is not acceptable at all!

Ibis hotels are a given

Overnight stay whilst riding back to the UK from Italy, Austria & Germany. Hotel has small multi story car park attached to rear with electric gate. So secure parking. From car park short walk past 3 doors into hotel reception. Great when carrying all own luggage and bike gear. Hotel staff friendly although did not all speak English, but you can always get by. As arrived in the evening, did not have time to explore local scene. So ate in the hotel. No complaints re quality of evening meal or breakfast.
In submission, cannot really go wrong with Ibis. If you shop around you may find better value for money, but we did everything on the hoof and have no complaints.

Stayed at this hotel before attending a meeting in Basel and this hotel exceeded my expectations. Great location as its only 5 minutes walk from town, very friendly staff who all spoke English. Rooms were comfortable and spacious for a budget hotel. I would certainly recommend the hotel and would stay here again.

Bei Ankunft roch das Zimmer nach Abfluß. Erst nach Lüftung war der Geruch weg.

Staff at the reception did not speak any english, they tried to communicate with google translator. They were all extremely rude and unprofessional. We were traveling with a 4 months old baby, requested a baby cot in advance and also called them on the phone. When we arrived there was no baby bed in our room, we requested it again. They said they only have 2 beds and 4 babies in the hotel so they are unable to provide one. They said they don't care where our baby will sleep and were extremely rude. At this point it was around 7pm and too late to find another hotel. After speaking with several people they brought a bed from another hotel around 8 pm. Baby had to go to bed too late. The bed was without a proper mattress or bedsheet, and the top part of it was missing. I requested it the next day again, spoke with 5 different people, all of them were rude. At one point the receptionist called someone on the phone and gave the phone to me, the caller said she is not responsible for this hotel and cannot help. Then someone arrived, supposedly a manager, who came to talk to me. His english was bad, did not introduce himself, did not apologize for the staffs behavior from the previous day. It could have been anyone, not a manager. At this point I just gave up any communication with them. I used several beach towels as a mattress for the cot. The room doors are super noisy, and the silverware was dirty every day.

Nous avons eu le bruit de la clim de tout l hôtel!! Des gens ont demandé a changé de chambre mais le bruit était toujours là! On a demandé à ce qu un technicien vienne rien a été fait!!! Ce bruit empêche de dormir il fait un bruit sourd ds tte la chambre cest infernal heureusement que les réceptionnistes sont sympas et on essaye de trouver une solution mais ils ne peuvent pas réparer une clim alors qu il y a un corps de métier pour ça!

Personnel plutôt sympathique. Un grand lit mais dans une chambre vraiment petite..! Chambre propre mais mieux vaut ne pas ouvrir la fenêtre car sur la tablette extérieure on trouve des mégots et surtout une couche épaisse d’excréments de pigeons!!😡 cela mérite un sérieux nettoyage.
Autre détail : taies d’oreillers non repassées (ou déjà utilisées??)
Point positif: petit déjeuner correct.
Je regrette d’être aussi négative mais il fallait que ce soit dit.

Stanze piccole ma pulite, personale un pò svogliato, in reception una bottiglia d’acqua piccola 3,50€, la colazione (sarò staro sfortunato) scarsa e con tavoli sporchi, una sola persona che non riusciva a stare dietro a tutto. Ho pagato 7,50€ per il parcheggio interno ma non mi hanno dato il codice per uscire (si erano dimenticati di darmelo).Molto rigidi sull’orario d’ingresso non prima delle 12:30h

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer war sauber und Staubfrei. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Freundliches Check-in/out. Im Gang auf der Etage schmeckt das alte Teppich schlecht, ist aber im Zimmer nicht zu merken. WLAN hat gut funktioniert. Nicht mehr so neu aber gute Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

On sait pourquoi on y va

Avantage d'Ibis: on sait ce que l'on trouvera, pas de surprise.
Inconvénient : le manque de charme.
PDJ honnête, surtout avec 40% de réduction sur le tarif public (j'ai bénéficié d'un tarif spécial mais je ne sais pas pourquoi.
Attention, la rue étant très bruyante demandez plutôt une chambre sur cour.

Binnen waren werkzaamheden waardoor de receptie een beetje krap zat.
Daar gelukkig verder geen last van.
Op doorreis van Zwitserland naar Nederland slechts 1 nacht.
helaas niets gezien van Mulhouse.
Restaurant en ontbijt helemaal goed.

Hotel en cours damélioration

Personnel très agréable. Hôtel en voie d'amélioration puisque tout le lobby était en travaux quand je suis passé. Et je pense que c'était bien nécessaire car l'hôtel commence a devenir bien vieillot. Donc, j'ai mis un 4/5 car avec les améliorations en cours la note que ça devrait mériter.

-Internet funktioniert nicht (wie meist bei IBIS)
-Parkplatz mit 9€ pro Tag überteuert
-Frühstück zwar reichhaltig und ansprechend präsentiert, mit 9,90€ pro Person zu teuer
-Restaurant Samstag Abend geschlossen
-Abstand vom Bett zur vorderen Wand (TV) zu gering, sehr eng
-Weiterempfehlung hängt vom Reisezweck ab (gesch. ok, für längeren Aufenthalt nein)
