Not a four-star by any means but very nice for a 1 to three night stay. Basic accommodations that are clean and easy to find. Plenty of Free Parking and the WiFi was very good. Breakfast is offered at 7.50 Euros pp and is the normal breakfast offerings. Price was good and the location was perfect for our travels!

We have stayed here many times before, and will do so again. The Roi Soleil is not the most luxurious hotel, but it delivers on value for money. Breakfast is OK, the beds are reasonably comfortable, and the staff are friendly. A downside is the centrally controlled A/C, the hotel decides if it is 'winter' or 'summer', in 'winter the rooms can only be heated, in 'summer' they can only be cooled. This works fine, except in spring/autumn, where temperatures can be quite variable day to day. Not the only hotel we stay at that works this way, but definitely a negative.

We have stayed here at least once a year for the last 8 years. It does everything right. We can`t understand why it is only 2 stars. Good restaurants and food market nearby. The only fly in the ointment is the hotel nearby, which seems to attract some low-life....but happily which has not affected us directly. At Roi Soleil we feel safe.

Excellent...have stayed here 5 or 6 times. Never been disappointed except that reception closes at 22.00 hours...and on one occasion, after an unexpected car problem I was unable to check in.... Just something to watch out for... I had been concentrating on getting my car going again and hadn`t been concerned about check-in times.

Il n’est absolument pas normal qu’une femme de chambre rentre dans la chambre à 8h15 sans toquer !!! elle ne parle pas bien français, ne s’excuse pas et ferme la porte. Je t’ai bien évidemment en train de me préparer, mais si j’étais nu en sortant de ma douche. Pour moi c’est intolérable….. d’autant plus que la dème à l’accueil me dit, on a pas le choix de rentrer dans les chambres, et limite me fait un reproche à moi-même de lui faire cette remontée.

J’en est fait des wk des séjours et celui la été le pire le plus horrible de ma vie ! J’ai jamais vu un hôtel aussi bruyant ou deja les gens sont libre de faire se qu’il veulent sans gêne ! Les femmes de menage commence leur menage tres mais très bruyant le matins des 7h et les gens qui prépare le petit dej font trop de bruit c’est tres mal isoler ! Pas d’agent d’accueil pas de sécurité dommage car jlai payer cher pour se que s’était

If you need rest find somewhere else!
We travel very long time and needed rest until check out at noon. Not good for that. Cleaning lady disturbed 3 times from 8:45 am asking us to leave because she had to “travail”!! The next door room very loud. We booked on the go shortly before arrival, unclear instructions for check in. No information. Telecom at the arrival helped us with required reservation number for selfservice check-in.

Séjour avec mon fils en août . J'ai donc pris une chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux. J'ai trouvé les lits plutôt étroits. Bon matelas. Les oreillers étaient moins confortables. Nous avons enlevé les couettes de la housse, bien trop chaudes pour la saison. Chambre climatisée si on la mets en marche. Rideaux bien occultants, vitrage qui permets de bien insonorisée des bruits extérieurs, par contre, pour moi, pas assez insonorisé entre les chambres (on peut entendre parler, tousser voir ronfler), la nuit dépendra de votre sensibilité aux bruits et de la notion du respect de certains (passage bruyant dans le couloir et porte qui claque). Petite salle d'eau mais suffisante. Côté petit déjeuner, je n'ai pas apprécié les viennoiseries mais le pain, biscotte, beurre, fromage, confiture, miel, caramel, Nutella, compote, yaourt, œufs brouillés, bacon sont amplement suffisant ! Grand parking sécurisé devant l'hôtel. Emplacement zone commerciale avec restaurants, boulangerie, magasins ....
