1) tub/shower button did not work. Workman could not fix it for 4 days.
2) bed a bit hard
3) staff at front desk friendly but would not call a cab for me — gave me the phone number, though.
4) food in restaurant mediocre — and often not hot enough.
5) cabs and uber couldn’t find the garage entrance. There should be directions on the websites when you make a reservation since the garage entrance is hidden, and a sign somewhere telling new guests where it is.

First night there was great Alexa greeted me wonderfully. The coffee bar ended way too soon relative to what I was told, and the bathroom floor was flooded with water leaking from underneath the shower slicing doors. The room was overlooking a main road which was noisy at times. For the price I paid, I expected the water bottle to be included, but I guess not in NY.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which truly made the experience special.
The environment was wonderfully quiet and serene—perfect for relaxing after a busy day. I appreciated how well-maintained and peaceful the property was, allowing me to enjoy uninterrupted rest.
If you’re looking for a place where you can unwind and feel genuinely cared for, this hotel is an excellent choice. I’ll definitely be returning!

THE ROSLYN TAPESTRY HOTEL

I stayed 12/14/2025 one night at this hotel in a Suite after enduring 8 hours at airport due to cancelled flights related to snow.
Upon arrival late to hotel , I entered the Suite and was appalled that the temperature inside the Suite was frigid and cold. Upon calling the front desk they finally had someone come and reset the temperature remotely. Unfortunately, it was still ice cold in the room and I was forced to go to the lobby in my pajamas and coat requesting a blanket that was no where to he found in the closet at the Suite.
In addition, the phone was not working which is ultra critical to me as I make many business calls and my cell phone was experiencing glitches. The Suite that I booked was suppose to include a Fireplace which was missing. I spoke with Nikki a supervisor who would not provide any amount of compensation for these legitimate comfort issues.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IS MY ADVICE!

The staff was very friendly. The main area was clean and very inviting. I stayed at this hotel over 10 years ago and it was much different. There was a buffet breakfast that was served and was included in the price so the prices in the restaurant were slightly high for the amount of food that was given.

This was an emergency situation since my husband was in the hospital and he was not doing well, so I had to make a quick decision and book a hotel. I wish there was an emergency situation discount, since my husband was in the hospital and he was not doing well. It was safe close to where I had to go. The floor in the room was moist, and there is a lot of moisture within the room. It served its purpose, but the toilet was low to the ground and did not have a lot of pressure when flushing, but grateful that I was able to find your room.

Lots of ants. The cleaners did not clean our room and we came back and found a lot of ants around the leftover food. The ants went into our luggage. Staff said they will compensate us but never did. It was just a show. I asked them if they know about the ant problem and she paused and then pretended it is new. With this amount of ants in just one afternoon, the place must be invested for a long time. Stay away!

Both rooms not ready for us at 4:30 pm when check in time is 3:00 pm. We had to wait, making us late for wedding we were attending. Check in person told me I have to file a complaint with Expedia because I booked the two rooms through Expedia. Bad business! You don’t let a customer leave your premises, angry, without doing something for them.

The room is showing wear and tear! The mattress had a huge sway on the right side, headboard looks like someone took a knife to it!
Service was slow doing breakfast and you have to remind the waiter that you needed refills on your drinks.
They had an event going on downstairs did not know all these events would be going on doing most of my stay. Hotel room was right above the room! Kids allowed to run free in the halls and loud in the rooms!! Not cool at 2:00 am...not worth the price and noise you put up with to stay there!!!!!

I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. The refrigerator was in the bedroom and not the living room. Coffee maker in livingroom. Weird. Livingroom tv would not work if bedroom tv was on. Bathroom was a disaster. Looked like a blind person touched up some of the caulking, but never properly cleaned it so black mold/fungus growing there. The grout was no longer around the tub tiles instead there was black mold where the grout should be. The wallpaper was hanging off the walls and the ceiling also had damaged tiles and more black mold. I was afraid to take a bath in that tub it was so disappointing…I usually like to stay in Hilton hotels but this one was just awful. No pictures on the walls a drop ceiling in dire need of a paint job… Bed was comfy though. Room service staff very nice, but totally off the mark on some of my meals. I doubt I will ever go back to that hotel. I feel totally betrayed by expedia AND Hilton. I also complained to Expedia while at the hotel, but never received a reply. You do not seem to really be concerned as long as you got my money. I took photos of it all, but like I said nobody has bothered to ask for them not expedia and NOT Hilton. I contacted Hilton, but they have yet to get back to me. I should have been offered some of my money back or SOMETHING for such a poor stay….

Enjoyable stay at the Roslyn tapestry hotel

I’ll start with the one negative. We were coming to the area for a dance competition and wanted to request an early checkin. I called one number for the hotel but it was only for reservation purposes. I was given a customer service number to call. The customer service requires your reservation number and I was driving so could not look it up. Without the reservation number, there is no option to reach the front desk and a live person. However, when we arrived at the hotel, the staff was accommodating to get us in a room early so we could prepare for the afternoon’s/evening’s competition.
The staff is very friendly and provided recommendations for local dining. The room was clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is so much nicer than your average hotel chain. I especially enjoyed taking the time to sit and relax in front of the lit fireplace. Family members took advantage of the bar located on the lower level to unwind. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if ever visiting Roslyn again.

Incredible but true, they start cleaning the rooms almost at noon. We came back at 2:00 pm and our room was not made.
Loud guests ran the halls at midnight, shouting and talking, every single night and the Hotel staff doesn’t do anything.
Hall rugs in bad condition, my elderly father almost fall.

Doesn't deserve a 4 star rating

Disappointing. The hotel has a 4 star rating but that's a stretch. To begin with, the bed's headboard was peeling in patches! The room we stayed in on the first floor was directly facing the parking lot with cars below the window so couldn't keep the shades open to enjoy the so-called \"harbor view\" - good luck with that. Left 2 messages to have the manager, a Mr. Gupta, contact us to express our disappointment and have yet to hear back; its been 2 weeks.

Frustrating check-in

I reserved two rooms through HOtels.com and a third room directly by calling Hilton reservations. On the day my family were due to arrive I called and gave all the names to make sure they couls all check-in easly, since they were arriving late. At 1:30 am my sister called because the fornt desk had only one room reserved. After checking emails, providing confirmation numbers, and a lot of frustration my three rooms were found and my family could check in.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life. The hotel smells of mold, the carpets are filthy and there is so much noise and construction early morning. You can hear everything happening in the room next to you. By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. This place needs a complete remodel with insulation and fan in he bathrooms.

Our stay was very comfortable and we love the convenience of having the supper club (My Fathers Place) on the lower level of the hotel especially since we had tickets to the show. No driving home after the performance and we could stay and relax in the pretty bar before heading back to our room. Drinks and food were great too. King room although not very large had a very comfortable bed. My only negative of our stay were the bath towels. Thin as wafers and I think for this type of hotel they could be more plush.

The hotel looks way nicer online than in person. It’s a little run down. My room had a strong Oder.
I was in an adjoining room and you could hear every little noise. There was also very loud construction taking place inside the hotel. The hotel was like an old holiday inn feel, not the feel you expect from a Hilton Tapestry. Overall disappointing
