I have stayed many times there and my family.. we never had any problems before. this time the toilet wasn’t flushing properly and the water took to long to get hot to take shower. Otherwise the place is clean and safe..one of staff members saw us leaving and was stop to ask if we are from Punjab. With all due respect we don’t want to be ask where are we from. Our stayed at the hotel was business and family time.

The room was not as advertised. It reeked of cigarette smoke and the safety bolt did not lock, which was not great since it was not the safest area of Long Island. I wasn't able to stay there with my daughter it was not safe. The front desk offered a refund but never followed through with their promise.

Ac worked, location decent with restaurants and transportation nearby… rooms updated and biggest I’ve stayed in NY yet walls were dirty so made me think of every place else.

The room was ok. One of the beds had a stain on the sheets. The light in the bathroom mirror didn’t work and the toilet wouldn’t flush consistently. The fire alarm in the hallway went off for no reason which alarmed a few people staying in neighboring rooms. The soap dispenser was in the shower and had no soap in it.

Overall property was convenient if your attending an event at UBS. Rooms were dirty, wallpaper coming off wall with mold. Room smelt like cigarettes and weed my poor daughter and I had to open all windows to try and air it out. No toiletries to shower with at all and very loud. Road is noisy and people outside being loud late at night made it difficult to sleep. Will not be going back.

The cold water didn’t work in the bathroom sink and we we only provided with 3 tiny bars of soap. When checking in was shocked the front desk was behind a wall of glass. A sign said the motel was not responsible for the theft of personal belongings left in cars. Had to empty the contents each night. Very sketchy neighborhood

This is an older property with some positives and negatives.

The biggest negative is the lobby. The front desk behind security glass with only a small tray to slide you credit card and identification through is very distressing. The lobby is usually populated with questionable characters and no friendliness.
The hallway to my room was carpeted in dingy stained carpet. The doors were old, but fine. It could be mistaken for an asylum hallway on a movie set .
The room itself was large with minimal furnishings. The desk and storage unit on the wall were newer, but cheaply made with drawers that did not slide well. The hanging rod was too close to the wall and there were no hangers - I went and bought my own. The bed was firm, with only a cheap mattress. The wall sconces had led bulbs that provided harsh lighting. The bathroom was small with only a light over the shower and no lighting over the sink.
The AC unit quit working the 2nd night I was there. Within 30 minutes of a call to the front desk, a repairman had come to the room, assessed the problem and inserted a new unit in the wall. I guess they are used to these units failing and keep an inventory of new ones on had.

For a hotel that is on Jericho Tpk- it was amazingly quiet. Room was clean and modern and the shower had great water pressure. My only complaint is that even though there were “no smoking” signs posted everywhere, our room smelled of smoke. We did not complain so the front desk was not aware.

This lodge as far as my experience is safe and quiet. There's a dollar store nearby, KFC next door and a 7-Eleven not far. The Staff were friendly. The only negative thing i could say is that there's no microwave oven to heat up food. Overall it was a good stay.

I hate to leave bad reviews so I’ll say this is an honest review. We arrived early and the lady I believe her name was Taneisha, was helpful and suggested some place to go have lunch while we waited for chick-in time and she held our bags so we didn’t have to walk around with them. When we got to the room is was filthy. I went down and asked for all the supplies to clean it myself and Taneisha said she would send someone up. The cleaning lady showed up and had the worst attitude insisting she had just cleaned it and the gentleman finally said no problem we’ll clean it. He returned with a towel went into the bathroom and wet it and wiped off the tops of some things. She came in with a wet mop and ran it around the room. The floor had not been swept in a long time and it was sticky. It smelled like smoke and there were even ashes on the bedside table. After they “cleaned” it didn’t solve anything. All the dirt was still on the floor, it was still sticky and the surfaces were just gross. The ac unit had all kinds of mast stuff in the vent and what appears to be food spills down the side. I will never stay here again.

Shabby little motel in a shabby area, The worse thing is there is more rooms than parking spots. So if you don't get a spot and stay there you'll be parking down the road at Taco Bell. I'm not kidding... And the guy at the desk will just give you a stupid look and shrug. Fortunately, I don't see me ever needing to be out this way again but if I ever do I damn sure won't stay here!

I would say it was not a motel but better than a hotel.Simply excellent, cleaning n cleanliness superb. Cleaning guys were gentle, smiling, helpful and excellent. We stayed 3 nights and 6 of us. Would recommend highly. Only that tv service was poor and missing the complimentary breakfast.
If they can arrange n manage it, it would be great. Parking was with ample space and clean surrounding.
If again to NY, it will be this place, 11%. Wish the prperty management all the best.

The facility was clean in spite of me finding a roach in my room. There are also two properties, the motor lodge and the motel. I thought I made reservations for the motor lodge but had a room in the motel across from the motor lodge. The area seemed relatively safe and was quiet. My room smelled as if there was a smoker in room previously. I also had to request new towels due to my towel having makeup on it. I called the front desk for roach spray and new towels and their response time was excellent. I was able to check in seamlessly and they allowed me to pay balance in cash and provided me with a receipt. I had a restful nights sleep, the room was very clean and spacious and the staff was courteous and responsive. I was pleasantly surprised as the price was reasonable and the place was clean which is very important to me. It was also more spacious than some of the high end hotels in Manhattan. It was also very close to JFK which is why we picked this hotel. Overall, very satisfied and would have given 5 stars had it not been for the roach and makeup on the towel. These are things I know they can fix. I would stay here again.

Check in was easy. The room was nicer than I expected considering the price was reasonable compared to other LI hotels in the area of our family gathering. They seemed to have enough parking area considering it was a Saturday night. The only downside to the area was that there were no diners close by for breakfast.

I lived in Queens, most of my life and know the area to be quiet and respectable. Still, I was a little nervous about a motor lodge. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and efficient the hotel was. Ok it is not the Waldorf, but it felt comfortable. No surprise charges, and a nicely renovated room were greatly appreciated. It was near to my destination had free parking and was near to a variety of restaurants. I could have walked if I werent so hungry. Parking did fill up at night so I squeezed in so just be aware if you are out late on a weekend. Would stay again.

The Motel is close to the UBS arena which is why I chose it. It’s not bad at all just dated. Parking is not guaranteed if full but I had no problem. The beds are small and the pillows are tiny and flat. The hallway had a mild skunk like smell. To sum up, it’s ok for a night stay but very dated.

It was absolutely horrific, 1st off the two men at the front desk had a I don't care attitude. The first room I went too was 337. I had wiped it down with lysol wipes and sprayed it down with lysol. Went into the bath room to do the same and cut the lights on and roaches were everywhere, I got my stuff went down stairs, they tell me they have no other rooms. I ask for my miney back , they said they couldnt guve it back and they had no other rooms. Remind you it was 10ish at night almost 11 before I got to my room
. Then a room appeared out of no where. They gave me room 207. Got there closed the door and the door wasnt all tbe way closed. Went on the outside of the door. You could see the door was open from the bottom. I went back and told them. They told me i had to take it. Intold them i didnt feel safe as a female single traveler. The guy told me and i had my mentor on the phone. Said he will see if he can fix it. He literally tried to kick the door in to fix it. It didnt work. He told me i had to rake it. Thats all they had. He says ill watch your room from the camera. I ask for my money back. He said call the 3rd party and we will get you your money back. I went back that morning talk to a lady who was much nicer. She said the manager wouldn't be in until Monday. But they will give the money back to me. I haven't heard nothing. I paid 233 for a piece of trash room. I called cheaptickets the rep was kind and tried to reach out to the hotel they told her the same thing.

Our connecting flight from JFK was cancelled, and the mainstream hotels closer to the airport were cancelled and we found this motor lodge. The 7.2 hotels.com rating is inflated. The reception area with plexiglass barriers made us feel we were entering an unwelcoming high security area, and made us wonder where were we. The room wreaked from stale cigarette smoke and the ceiling was peeling. A/C was too noisy to run at night. I can’t believe we had to pay $220 total for this room with no amenities.

My rating is based on the value. Clean room, safe environment, friendly staff, ample parking, very good price for NYC/LI. It’s not a five star, no, nor does it charge you for that. I’ve stayed here several times as a female solo traveler. You may feel tentative on a busy urban street if you’re not from a city but tucked around the corner is a really nice neighborhood and some great suburban like shops and eateries on Tulip, walkable.
