The smoking area definitely needs to be power washed, the rooms themselves were relatively clean but the cleaning staff never actually cleaned our room, they didn't restock any towels or anything. Overall I would stay here again if It were my last choice.

The hotel sits on a corner in NYC. It’s convenient as it’s close to the airport, however, the parking is very limited. There is free street parking and they do have cameras, but keep that in mind if you book here. The hotel looks nicer on the inside from the outside. The walls are thin and sound echo’s through the halls. There was a door that stuck when opened (possible the door to the stairwell) that was loud as it scraped when people walked through it. This was on the 2nd floor. Overall the stay was ok and it’s close to the JFK airport.

This hotel is more a motel, and ok for one or two nights. That is really who they cater to, folks with either delayed/cancelled flights or layovers who just need a place to lay for the night. Basic breakfast: toast, waffles, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice. The worst beds you have ever slept on, tip: stay in the middle. The sides slope drastically down, you may just roll off. Very overpriced for what you get. Baisley park close by and the small outdoor area are the only bright spots. Oh…begins the hotel is very residential and you can usually find parking, so that $25 a day:parking is a rip off! Bottom line, stay for one or two nights max if you need to be close to JFK and don’t expect too much.

The rooms were very small outdated and not well maintained. The 1st floor is actually the basement. The elevator is only for 2 people max and still crowded. The original room we were in has the latch broken and no TV service. The walls were run down. Thevac worked well. We switched rooms and the 2ndvwas a little better but still poor TV service, only 3 channels, and there was mold in the sink. The staff was nice. But for all that problems. The almost 200 a night was way overpriced.

Due to a flight delay I had to get another night on about 12hrs notice, they gave it to me at the same rate as my original booking a month before arriving, instead of charging me the day of rate which is much higher. The shower head broke and they fixed it right away. There’s a good quality washer and dryer here which is very convenient. The Indian restaurant a block away is fantastic, there’s a 7/11 open 24hrs next door to that. There’s other good food nearby and quick access to the beaches of Long Island. Traffic and road construction make getting to Manhattan an hour long drive. It’s a bit noisy being a busy small hotel but overall it’s a great deal. This hotel is very safe but it’s in Jamaica queens so always use common sense when walking the streets here. Everyone I’ve met has been friendly and the police presence has been consistent on this part of rockaway blvd. It’s a good hotel for families that wanna be super close to the airport for short stays. I’d recommend it for 1-2 night stays when traveling. If you wanna explore NYC it’s not ideal being so far from city center

When we first arrived, we noticed the room felt a little grimy, so we asked for wipes to wipe everything down. When my husband wiped out the fridge there was dirt on the wipe which tells us they don't clean it. In addition, it wasn't cooling properly so some of our food spoiled. The toilet got backed up and were told we had to wait until 9am the next morning for maintenance to come in. We also had to wait until 9am for fresh towels to be delivered. Maintenance and the towels weren't delivered until 10am which caused us to have to rush to get ready for the person picking us up. The towels also looked dingy and were clearly very used. The worst was the 2nd day after the maid had cleaned we returned and our key card didn't work. We were on the 3rd floor and all the way to the end so had to go all the way back downstairs to have them reactivate the key card. No apology at all. Then on the 3rd day again after the maid had cleaned it happened again. I mentioned that it happens after the maid cleans, not sure if her card entry somehow deactivates ours, and was told that it's happening because we went too far away from the hotel. First of all, that was never told to us when we checked in. Second of all there were times where we went far from the hotel and did not have an issue with the keycard which leads me to believe it's happening after the maid cleans. There was never any apology for any of this happening. The customer service is not the best and we will not return

This hotel should make it known that stairs are required, especially for senior or individual that have problems w knees. The particular room that was assigned was extremely substandard and should be gutted and totally redone. Peeling/ separating wallpaper, a hole in the that, ripped up wall paper from where there were possibly wall sticker hangers, scratches/ stain and a frozen multiple times over freezer thay hasnt seen a thaw out or cleaning in who knows how long. This room was an \"insult\" for the outrageous amount paid for a 1 night stay. It definitely wasn't even worth a third and that is being kind. Breakfast items were ok.

For an hotel close to the airport they should run the shuttle more regularly (it is just by the hour).
Our a/c was faulty so we had to change rooms.
Sound isolation is not great as some other guests arrived making noise and we woke up.

The rooms are definitely NOT soundproof as listed. The hotel is rather shabby and old but definitely clean enough that if this fits your budget, it’ll work as a place to crash before an early flight out of JFK. I might spend another $50 next time to stay somewhere where I don’t hear every door slam.

The room was so outdated, but apparently they had just remodeled. There was writing on the walls with pen, no blackout drapes, the beds felt so old.
The selection for the breakfast was poor.
Would definitely never stay there again…ever. For the price they are charging per night and what you get is diabolical.

I wasn’t there long, checked in late and checked out early the next day, basically just needed a place to stay to lay my head for a few hours before my next flight so overall it was satisfactory for this purpose. Airport shuttle was a nice feature. Bed and pillows were comfortable. AC worked well. Was in a room that was on the main street. The windows were thin so noise was an issue/hard to fall asleep. For this reason likely would not stay here again.

Got there an hour after booking because me and my younger sister missed a fight due to a delayed incoming flight and needed somewhere to sleep since it was now 1am. They told us we couldnt have the room till 3pm which wasn't going to matter then we would be at the airport so I asked to cancel and get a refund since ited been maybe an hour since I payed and booked and I was told I could. Only to be told the complete opposite in the morning. I was trying to cancel right then and there but I was told I had to go through hotels.com which I did, but nobody would answer for them. So in the morning when I tried again and even I called they said no refunds, and essentially told me to kick rock, so I truly wish the worst for this establishment. It is located in a total dump, bugs were in the lobby so imagine what's in the rooms. The owners are greedy and unreasonable.

The airport shuttle took a long time picking us up from the airport.
The shuttle driver who worked in the morning was extremely helpful and even though the shuttle was running every thirty minutes he made sure he came back to pick up the seven oclock passenger since the shuttle only held 11 passengers at a time and there were 16 passengers traveling to the airport.

The staff was courteous. Hotel 8mins from airport. The shuttle runs 24hrs but every hour on the hour. Waited at the airport for 25mins before calling to check. TV did not work. Check multiple channels and nothing. Only booked for one night but really used the room for 5 hrs to nap during a layover so I didn’t have a problem with it. Room is small but the bathroom is spacious and bright.

Noisy and rough location. I could hear traffic and people all night long, they were so loud I may as well had my window open. Hallway and doors noisy, maybe because there is no carpeting. TVs do not work...the staff said they normally only have 3-4 channels and management do nothing about the TV system so it is clearly not a one off problem. Bath does not have a drain plug so you cannot take a bath. Breakfast was a sad and very basic affair. I get they are price gouging due to the FIFA world cup but at $350/nt they are taking the piss.

It was apparent the property was updated. It did look nice on the inside. We were happy with the room. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and bar soap. The breakfast was continental with mostly bread, cereal, waffles, coffee, milk and orange juice. One morning there was yogurt, another boiled eggs and one added fruit. I would recommend having fruit, yogurt and boiled eggs daily. Every night the entire hotel smelled of marijuana and you could tell people were smoking it in their rooms. This is no fault of the hotel but the rules of no smoking should be enforced. The staff were nice or neutral but no complaints with them.

Big bed, shower worked great, aircon was good and very close to JFK (5 min drive).

Otherwise it is a really run down hotel, dirt and mould in the bathroom, dirty footprints on the floor. The only lift to get you case down the stairs is for wheelchair use however when you open it there’s a suitcase trolley right in front of it so you have to struggle to move it out of the way (impossible for a wheelchair user!). Very noisy, couldn’t really hear traffic even though on a main road but you can hear every guest.
Unless your local I wouldn’t go out, just full of people trying to get cash off you and following you to keep asking.

Though it seemed fairly clean, this hotel is in desperate need of some TLC! Towel racks falling off the wall, rusty lamps that don’t work and barely stand up, window blinds that don’t work for either opening or closing. If you’re choosing between this place and another one- choose the other one. We only stayed for one night while awaiting our flight, but I still wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel was very close to the airport and they picked us up very fast. The area where the hotel is located doesn’t look good. The lady at the desk was not friendly. We had to take an elevator and it was very small and dirty. We could had walked. However, the room and bathroom were clean, my friend and I slept for a few hours and took the shuttle at 4:00 am without any issues. If you are staying for a night, it is a good place to do it.

Quality inn customer service is terrible. Me and my wife were on our 5th anniversary and traveling from Connecticut. The property cancelled my reservation because they said I didn't call to say that I was coming to the property. We arrived around 5pm. Usually you get a few hours grace period. So basically if you don't prepay you must call them to tell them what's your ETA or your reservation will be cancelled

The hotel is pretty run-down, although the room itself seemed properly cleaned. The room had very poor noise insulation so it was very loud — I could hear the noise of coughing hotel guests, a barking dog in one of the rooms, and a lot of street noise of people yelling. Thus, is it was hard to sleep. The shuttle driver was very nice and it is a fairly short drive to JFK airport. The price of the stay was too much for the quality of accommodations, but I made the reservation last-minute and didn’t have much choice. If you want a quieter room and nicer accommodations I would go elsewhere.

We had a 7 hour layover at JFK that was arriving at 10pm. I knew we didn’t want to be stuck in the airport that long especially being that late and nothing open so I booked this hotel because it had a free 24 hour shuttle. It worked perfectly! We took the shuttle to and from the airport. There was a Burger King walking distance from the hotel, but we door dashed it instead because it was late by the time we got to the hotel and I didn’t feel comfortable walking in a new city. It was very reasonably priced and the room was clean. The hotel staff were nice and the shuttle driver got us to and from the airport quickly. Would highly recommend for a no frills place to close your eyes for a couple hours between flights.

The swing bar lock on my room door was somewhat broken, and the door had a small gap in it. I could rattle the door if I tried to open it while it was locked. This hotel is located next to a major road and has extremely thin walls, so it was difficult to sleep. A hotel next to a busy road should have much better walls; this was very disappointing. The hotel shuttle was a great service.

Front desk lady’s behavior like I was bothering her. She doesn’t smile at all. One night for sleeping after a festival and we weren’t able to take a shower since there was no cold water at all. We called front desk they didn’t fix the shower, neither offered a solution for taking a shower. The lady said was No parking available but we saw the parking lot had 6 parking available in the night and next day as well. 1% recommended. It’s in a very nice area, very close to JFK airport, many places to eat and nice walkability. Bad staff and administration

This property needs to be updated, it just to crash overnight and catch your flight the next day. Staff and transport driver was very nice.

EVELINE

This was by far the worst experience I've had in picking a hotel in NY.
1. The room I was given didn't have a refrigerator as said online when booking.
2. The room was right next to the back door and it made me uncomfortable because I'm disabled and was traveling alone.
3. I was given another room with a refrigerator, however the TV didn't work a.i called the front desk and was told it'll take fifteen min before someone would be able to come. They never did
I paid one hundred sixty nine American dollars to sleep here for one night ie: not worth it.
4. I use a walker so I was told since my room was downstairs I could use the lift😲. I've never seen a lift to take ppl to a room if traveling with suitcases or walker.
5. The breakfast was sub par to say the least but it's ok cause eating here would've been a stretch.
To sum it up DON'T STAY HERE cause the bedding is itchy and there's a smell in the rooms. I didn't sleep all night cause I thought it was bed bugs. I checked the bed but it wasn't any I could see. There's more I want to say but I'll leave you with this: don't trust what you see in the pics cause it looks nothing like what's shown online. Hell, I thought I was at the wrong place and my Lyft driver was talking me somewhere else. This place resemble a crack house and I'm glad it was only for the night. I hope this helps you NOT stay here, that's unless you can't find a crack house to sleep in.
