Really liked the convenience of this hotel! The restaurant was great and the shuttle in the morning to jfk was prompt! Just know this shuttle drops you off at the tram so you take the train to the terminal! We did have to squeeze in the train thru the first terminal! Then it opened up!

Nice bar/restaurant on the main level which came in very handy. I was able to get something decent to eat without having to go out. The property is in the process of being updated, so there was plastic restricting some areas, but that didn't impact my stay. Very handy to have the free shuttle to take us to the airport train. Worked out well for us. Unfortunately, got in too late for shuttle service and I had to pay $70 for a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Crazy high price for a 5 minute ride!!!

Location is the best. If you want to stay close to the airport. Shuttle to the airport but not at the terminal. Still need to take a train to your terminal. Keep in mind if you have many luggage with you.

Breakfast options were limited

The only complaint was that my room was next to a major road and the noise was uncomfortably loud. I checked the windows to see if they were open but I just saw ancient aluminum framed windows. They desperately need to get them replaced with modern dual glazed PVC windows to cut down the noise. The traffic noise woke me up twice in the middle of the night. Avoid room 200 or the ones above it. If the noise wasn’t there, it would have been a very comfortable stay.

Location was good. We stayed over before an early flight at JFK. Shuttle starts at five to JFK. Had a light dinner at the hotel’s small restaurant. Food was good. A little noisy road traffic in evening but died down later. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and seemed recently updated.

Us as a deaf couple, the room did not have the “flashing” smoke alarm.
Also the driver for the shuttle bus did not have to mock me as a deaf man.

The toilet dis not flush— no jiggling could work so I had to take off the tank cover to lift the thing. What’s scary is housekeeping had to know this if they had actually cleaned the toilet after the prior guest. Never again

Easy check in, staff on check in was very helpful and courteous, room was clean, easy to get to and from airport. I called ahead to check on status of shuttle and there was no issue with front desk providing and update and shuttle was right on time to pick my family up from JFK. Will stay here again next time we fly out of JFK. There is also some street parking in front of the hotel.

We only stayed till 4am to catch our flight. Had to pay for shuttle since the hotel's free shuttle doesn't start till 6am. Which leaves a lot of people paying. I wouldn't have picked this hotel if I had read the fine print.

The worst parts are the location -- it was loud at night -- and the airport shuttle didn't start earlier enough to get to our morning flight, so we ended up having to take an Uber for another $30. I wish I had known this before booking.

The heater didn't work properly and ultimately had to be disconnected by maintenance. It was 9 degrees that night and we were so cold. They did give us extra blankets for the night, but it was not a comfortable stay at all.

My only complaint is that their airport hotel shuttle doesn’t run past 10:00pm which was a huge inconvenience since my international flight came in slightly after 10:00p. The taxi charge to the hotel was a ridiculous $46! Next time I’ll prefer to stay at one of the more expensive hotels with a 24hr shuttle.

Nice room. I was only there for a few hours to rest. Close to the airport. Shuttle runs from 6am to 10pm so if you have a late flight you will have to get a taxi. It is a short distance abut $20 in an Uber.

I payed for my room $185 for the January 24th. Because of the snow storm and flight cancellations I need to stay additional 1-2 days. During the check in I was informed that there is no availability for additional days and they put me on waiting list. Why I can see availability online for this hotel for over $500 per night?
This is taking advantage of the weather situation and poor people who were stuck in NY!!! This is not right!!!

I stayed 2 nights. When I got in my room and turned on the bathroom faucet was missing the piece where the water comes out. The carpet had a 20inch red streak near the bed, not sure if it was blood or what. In the shower there were 3 dispensers, 2 shampoo, 1 conditioner. Don't know if one of the shampoo dispensers had soap or not. You guess!!!
Shower door slide open on it's own whilst showering.
The safe didn't work, had to get front desk to have maintenance replace battery or safe.
The housekeeping staff started cleaning at 7am which was RIDICULOUS. I couldn't sleep in. They were Banging, Clanging and shouting to each other it sounded like a construction site. I had to call the front desk to complain. I paid over $200 per night and got one star service. My family member also stayed 3 nights like myself from out of state for a family funeral, they too had complaints.
On the elevator down on checking out I asked a couple how was their stay, the elevator ride wasn't long enough to hear all the complaints.
I think a full refund should be made.

More staff needed. The location is close to the airport but nothing around to do, see or eat. Only one staff to check in and only one staff serving in the restaurant. There was a huge line in front desk for check in and lot waiting time for food. Food was expensive but good. Need to include more towels on the rooms. Our room for four only had two towels. The shuttle service worked excellent.
