We didn’t stay because of how deplorable the conditions were. The staff was rude and made checking in impossible, once they finally gave us a room key, we entered the room to find that it had been in previous use and never cleaned (Beds were unmade, trash next to the door, and the door did not close properly as it seemed it had been kicked in). While addressing these concerns at the front desk we witnessed what seemed to be working girls coming in for a shift, verified by the heavy police presence. We requested a refund and left as quickly as possible. The staff working the counter at that point, must have known the condition the room was in, because he didn’t ask any questions or raise any objections.

I did not end up staying the night here. The room we were put in was designated non-smoking, but there was nothing non-smoking about it. The room reeked, the door didn't seal, I did not feel safe in the room at all. The person at the front desk, Ryan, actually suggested we not stay there before we checked in. The room itself looks nothing like the photos posted. I would not recommend anyone stay here for any amount of money.

Yes and didn’t need laundry. They didn’t have the room that I called and specifically reserved, no smoking . The pillows and bed feel like they have never been replaced. There was food on the walls very dirty sink and shower. I had to go buy $30 in cleaning products and $20 in pillows. We couldn’t sleep because the neighbor was so loud ALL NIGHT! I didn’t even stay my second night we had to go find a hotel we felt safe to sleep in. I regrettably had to take a smoking room and I’m still washing the smell out of hair and clothes.

Staff was great. Room needed some attention, floor repair, curtain repair; but it was clean and obviously had been renovated in the recent past. Bedding was wrinkled as if left in the dryer for a long time, but it was also clean. A budget stay for sure, but clean and well managed I think. Jen, at the front desk, was very helpful as well as the night staff that I interacted with upon arrival. Restaurants and Fred Meyers nearby made it easy to stay close to the hotel if you didn't have other business out and about.

Unit 214:
1) They don't clean while we are here. We have to check out before they will do anything to the room. So if you are staying for an extended stay, there is no service to the room until you check out. You can get towels, sheets and a broom, but no service is available until you check out.
2) The heater rattles really loudly at night. I have already mentioned this to them, but nobody has looked into it, yet. And on some of the A/C units the exterior grill is missing exposing the inner parts to the environment. Like the one room I was sent to.
3) Main door looks as though it was forced open at least once. The door latch is loose ready to fall off at anytime. And there is a gap between door and frame allowing light and cold air to come in.
4) Thermostat facing is not all the way secure, like it hangs out. It doesn't close to a seamless fit. Upon further examination it almost looks like the facing is wrong for the thermostat.
5) The tv doesn't connect to the motels WIFI, but this maybe done deliberately.
6) I tried to move to another room just to find that it was missing a fridge and microwave. I was told these are the only two rooms available at the time. So I went back to this room that had these items even though the heater rattles really loudly at night.

So yeah, I am not to pleased with the arrangements. For money that I am paying I can't really complain, but these items really need to be addressed. Thanks.

Place felt patched up and not 100% clean - random parked cars with people sleeping in them - whole section of rooms burned - can only guess how that started - just not what I expected in nice Tumwater, WA. Felt like some of the reviews online were at another location. The photos look great the room not so! Won’t stay there again. Felt gross.

First off, the front desk guy was very helpful and accommodating (he is the only aspect of that motel that deserves any stars at all). Also, we survived the stay, which is a plus. That's where the pros end. The initial room stunk so badly of dog urine that we could not be in it (and we are very tolerant of smells). We were able to swap rooms, but the second room was so filthy that we were afraid to touch the bathroom door as it looked like it had feces all over the frame (at this point we had hoped it was dog and not human) and the floor had sticky goo all over it. The mattress was so badly caved in that we woke up in pain all over. Part of the building had burned down and is boarded up. This stay was an adventure; but not one I care to repeat. We would have not stayed here at all, if not for the fact that by the time we got here we were too exhausted to drive anywhere else.

This used to be a viable option for travel. However, the last two times I stayed there, opting for a deluxe room, there has been no microwave and a refrigerator that operates at a temperature that cannot be even classified as cold. The staff is always awesome. I just wish there was some more care to the amenities.

Light in shower was flickering enough yo give a person a seizure. Had to leave the light all night for it to eventually stop sink outside bathroom didn’t drain half the time. The beds in that room weren’t that comfy and you could tell they needed replacement , we could feel the springs. We wanted a smoking room ,but dealt with having to go outside in the elements to smoke.

The heater in my room didn’t work. The heater was plugged in and it wouldn’t run.
I didn’t discover this until 11pm. When I told the manager about it the following morning he blamed me for not getting dressed and coming to the front desk to complain. It seems to le they don’t bother to check their facilities before they rent a room.
I won’t stay there again if I can help it.

This review is more for Expedia and Motel 6 booking system. We reached at motel around 7:30pm with small kids and learnt that the two bedrooms are not available. They did offer a single bed but is kinda useless for the family of 4. We need to book another hotel nearby at additional cost. Bad experience.

Were there multiple drug deals in the parking lot? Yeah. Was there flickering lights in the room? Of course. Was it kind of run down and dirty? Yes. Did the tv work? Absolutely not.

But here’s the deal. The price point is <50$ a night. The lock worked and it didn’t have bedbugs or fleas, so can’t complain. 5/5!

Staff was great; the front desk dude and the new girl were very nice and helpful. Housekeeping was a bit lacking though. There was a LOT of hair (human I believe) between the bed and tv, more on the bathroom floor, and a few on the sink and stuck to the ice bucket. I had to shuffle towels around with my feet to sweep my room.

Oh, and i had no shower curtain, but the cool front desk guy fixed that right away for me.

And, the room reeked of cigerettes.

Shower was the most bizarre setup I have ever seen anywhere, and the curtain didn't reach down far enough to prevent water from splashing out... very strange. Bed was comfortable, but the walls don't keep much noise out and the people next door were very noisy. Location was great, grocery store nearby and downtown Olympia only minutes away.

Looks like people stay for extended periods of time there. The rooms had penetrated odors of cigarette smoke, weed, and pet urine. It was truly bad. We had already paid and there was no refunds allowed. We literally thought about just sleeping in the van. We had to overcome our disgust to fall asleep and get it over with.

My room needed a new bed. Half had a deep hole like a very large person had been bed bound for a month, and the other side of bed was very hard, squeeky, and i could feel every last spring including what was under my pittiful pillow. The tv temote did not work, and there was bright red splatter on the walls in bathroom. I didnt open the microwave or fridge. To top it off the sheets were all wrinkled and the room smelt bad.
Even though its next to the freeway it was quiet, and besides one sketchy person it felt relatively safe.

The room had cob webs and dust on their lampshades, stains on their bedding, flooring was cracked, three hooks holding up the shower curtain, air conditioner was all torn apart on the outside. I had stayed at this property after they first renovated a few years ago and it looks as if they haven’t done anything with it since then.

The clientele is kind of shaky, they check EVERYONE ‘s ID, you don’t feel very secure. The beds are against the walls so you have to crawl in if there are two people per bed, bedsheets old and very wrinkled, the covers dirty and stained and the floor needed a good scrubbing. The sink and the bathroom were OK.

I was able to easily book this online and check-in was fast. That is the end of anything nice I can say. The room was supposed to be non-smoking and absolutely reeked of years old cigarettes. The mini fridge leaked all over the floor prior to checkin (and with the floor swollen appears to be that way for a really long time). I had to leave a towel on the floor during my stay to avoid wet feet. The place was not clean and the toilet leaked and refilled all night long. This was an emergency stay so I had no other choice but would probably sleep in my car rather than stay here in the future.
