I like the isolation of this area plus, it has easy off and on I-5 freeway. Rooms are spacious. A plus is the recliner for relaxing, in addition the room has a desktop environment with a nice office chair. Large refrigerator is convenient, although I usually just bring small bottle size drinks. Friendly efficient staff

The room was large and comfortable with a kitchenette. I had the best sleep I've ever had in a hotel - the mattress was wonderful! Having the check-out time at 12:00 allowed me to have a leisurely morning which extended my time away. I really enjoyed it.

Also, the gal at the front desk (I didn't get her name) who had just come in for her shift on Sunday at about 8:00 was EXCELLENT and very pleasant. She is an asset to your business.

Mostly clean, bed was comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor and they allow a child in the room above that was jumping around until 12:30-1:00 am. Walls need wiping down or painted.

The hotel had some food corners 24 hours and FREE coffee. They just had a \"Charging Paper\" that customers would fill in on our owns. They trusted us and I felt so kind and generous about their action. I would stay again if/when I am coming back to Lacey/Olympia. Thank you :)

I stay over 100 nights a year in hotels for work. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have had in the past year. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Room was not cleaned before my stay. Internet didn’t work.ceiling fan in room was non functional. No free parking unless you know a manager there (person in front of me new the manager Lori and apparently that gets you free parking), the “convenience store had expired items and a 20oz bottle of water was $6, staff preparing continental breakfast were not wearing gloves and touched food with bare hands right in front of me, was told “we don’t do late checkouts”when I asked if I could have an hour extension for a business call, then they charged me for a whole second day when I left my room at 12:03p….. I will be making sure no one from my company, family, or friends ever stays here again. Couldn’t be more disappointed in this hotel and their staff. Have some pride, BE BETTER.

We have stayed at many hotels near a freeway but this was the loudest ever. It sounded like we left the window open. So hard to even hear the TV. We asked for a pet friendly room in case my daughter needed to bring her dog, which she didn’t, But the room smelled strongly of dog. The bed pillows also did not smell nice. The pillow cases seemed clean but the pillows themselves need a refresh. I tried misting with Downey fabric wrinkle reducer but it didn’t help. The property itself seems clean, our room was spacious, and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

We would have rated 5 overall but for two reasons. We had two rooms while we would rate them very high from cleanliness and non-smoking truly meant the air in the room is not stuffy, the head/cool in one room 402 was not working when you adjust the thermometer and the second suite 416 did not have eating table like 402. The staff was not there few times we went to ask question and our card was charged three times which took few days to be cleared. Staff was apologetic and wanted to give us discount for the confusion which we declined understanding that the charges will be reverted or dropped both of which happened but it took checking our card for few days.

All said, we would use this facility again when in Lacey. It is very clean and close to Park & Ride if you don't want to drive or use Uber. The best experience so far when in Lacey.

Honestly, the staff is what made this property. It was clean. It was way more of a room than I figured, complete with kitchenettes I wasn't expecting. Comfy beds. I called a few times before I arrived to make sure the multiple rooms we had were as expected. They were! Every interaction with the staff was pleasant and professional. I witnessed their interacting with multiple other guests, and each person was treated with such respect and courtesy. I was most impressed when a small child down the hall started crying, and the person behind the desk dropped everything and ran to assist!

I was traveling alone with heavy suitcases and no transportation. I would have liked a place to eat or close by the hotel. I am not certain about the ecological piece. Was the TP bamboo?

It is a specific type of hotel, probably intended for a longer stay than my one night stay, with everything necessary to eat in. I can see that for a family it would be a great place to stay.

Best hotel stay ever

I have never stayed in a hotel more comfortable and peaceful than Candlewood in Lacey, I have virtually no complaints. Staff are excellent, room quality is excellent, state of the art work out facilities, free laundry, rooms super clean and modern, location excellent. Will look for Candlewood in the future when traveling!

Pet friendly but the people allow their dogs to poop on the side walks and parking lot. It doesn’t get cleaned. Once a week isn’t enough to clean a room w two people and a baby. Also, it smells so bad of marijuana in the entire building

Dislikes: We stayed 5 days, and our room was never cleaned. Had to go to front desk to get more coffee and toilet paper.

Terrible extended stay facility. Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Never received housekeeping service during an 8-night stay. I had to buy plates, cups, plastic ware at an extended stay hotel. They air conditioner didn’t work properly. The blow dryer didn’t work. And there wasn’t so much as a luggage rack in the room. Horrible experience.

Am handicapped & use a powerchair. Room door is super hard to push & pull open; no instructions on how to use tv & remote or a listing of channels & managed to put tv in \"snow\" mode & staff had to come fix & explain how to use remote; thermostat control on wall vs the unit & where on wall was hard to access from powerchair & again, no instructions on how to use; shower had no ledge to place any of my toiletries & the pumping station for soap, shampoo, & conditioner awkward & hard to use because too high up from sitting position; shower bench collapsed while taking a shower & I had a hard time pulling myself up from the low position & no emergency cord to pull for help; bed so high I couldn't get on it (even used my powerchair to try to use as a leverage point & no go); I had to leave since couldn't use bed & no offer for even a partial refund & have to wait for a call from manager as I asked since not offered. My stay was to be a get away from my non-ada compliant apt & super disappointed with experience & if no partial refund a complete waste of $100

Friendly and prompt check in. Got us in a couple hours early, hotel able to accommodate.
Very simple room with full fridge and Mini kitchen. No table or desk to eat. Oh well.
We stayed 1 week, maid service was done weekly as explained. Laundry downstairs was fine. This hotel is pet friendly , so watch your step,
If no pets, request non pet floor. We were placed on 3rd floor full of animals. I broke out in hives and was itchy entire week. Never again!
Price is right, easy access, to restaurants and shopping, I would stay again on a non pet floor-

The hotel was great, large clean rooms, friendly staff, we got much more than expected..in a good way. Will make this a regular stop. Lots of food options nearby. Great value.

The only thing we found fault with was the awful awful coffee, and the bathroom door was problematic with latching. And the take away breakfast was laughable....an apple, apple juice, and an apple nutrigrain bar. We went to McDonald's instead. Other than that, our stay was great as we prepped to move back into our home. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

the worst experience we have ever had

This was the worst experience my husband and I have ever had. We arrived late about 10:30 pm and were greeted indifferently by the clerk. Got to our room exhausted. TV couldn't turn on and then it all started!! from 11:00 pm until 1:30 am they were running the commercial washers. They made a very loud clunking sound between each cycle!! We tried to call the front desk at midnight and no one answered! So we went to our meeting the next morning totally exhausted. Never again!! Why would they use a room next to the laundry!!

Loved the room and the bed. The coffee pot needed cleaning. I could not drink the cup I made, it smelled and tasted moldy. I looked and looked for the hair dryer, but could not find it. I checked out looked very bedraggled since I took a shower before I realized I could not find the hairdryer.
Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.

We were impressed by the size of the room, cleanliness and attention to detail in terms of the kitchen, supplies, and fragrant bath products.
However, the TV was so difficult to operate that we gave up after 30 minutes of trying.

We had to wait for the room until 4pm, and was given the WORST room, because it was ground floor next to the BBQ area where people hang out late into the hours!!! We could not another room because they were sold out and we only stay for 1 night! Will not be coming back.

Terrible..No Soap??

Requested any floor other than first. Was told that since I booked through Hotels.com that they wouldn't give me a better room. I got the worst room, 1st floor facing the freeway! Also no soap! Was told soap was on back order...what the heck was I supposed to do now?
