Staff was friendly but not exceptionably helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfy, Bathroom was clean but the shower floor could have used a good scrubbing, didn’t stop me from using the shower and motel showers seem to always need a little work. We chose this hotel over another in town because the breakfast was included. Good selection of items and the make your own mini waffle maker was very good. Bacon and eggs, muffins and bagels, Yogurt and topping bar was nice. Free parking, easy walk to bars and restaurants which was the purpose of out visit.

The hotel is no frills and in a great location. The room was not ready for check-in at three and the staff was unhelpful and seemingly unbothered by the line of guests wanting their rooms. We finally got into our room about 90 minutes after the advertised check-in time with water bottles and granola bars as a 'sorry for the wait' bag.

Very friendly, accommodating staff, as well as a well-kept, clean, and comfortable room. Delightful breakfast and lobby area. I would like to have more fruit available for breakfast, and whole grain bread and bagels. That said, I think the selections were ample for guests on the SAD (standard American diet) and probably appropriate for most hotel clientele. We prefer healthier choices that serve a WFPB eating regimen (whole-food, plant-based).
We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again on future visits to Olympia.

I give this property a chance every time I’m in Olympia, but am giving up after this last stay. The beds are akin to sleeping in straight up plywood (multiple room tries over several months, same hard beds); the thermostat gives you either 74 degree heat or a/c at 70, no in between; heavy, heavy doors that slam all night, and have to hear neighbors “relaxing”. The final straw, however, (and this is an ongoing issue over a few years now) is the breakfast. It states it runs from 6:30AM to 9:00AM, but at 8:07, there was no food left, and a gentleman had to knock on a door behind the desk to get someone to actually bring coffee out for many of us looking for it. I, along with ELEVEN other folks waited for someone to come out with more food, but nobody ever appeared, and I left at 8:46. The trash cans in the eating area were very clearly not emptied all morning, overflowing to the point garbage had been left on countertops and tables. As convenient as it is to the Capitol, I and my colleagues will all be finding other places for lodging when we come into town for short AND extended stays.

Everything was great, including the cold beer and microwaveable goodies at reception. One suggestion: put a microwave in the dining area. Great placecto stay in Olympia Washington. I was there 7 nights, and having a refrigerator, microwave, and dishes allowed me to buy gricerues and save money on meals.

The doors on the rooms are fire safe doors, so they are heavy. The only negative was that people would let their door slam at 6 am. No way to control that, though!

So if you need friendly, nice and clean place in downtown Olympia, this is it!

The room was very clean and quite large, with great amenities for storing clothes etc. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Olympia has quite a large homeless population, and they are very present wherever you go, including around the townplace suites. But we were able to walk around with no problems. I would like to have had a reasonably clean window to look through since the view from our room was rather nice, but unfortunately the glass was filthy and covered with bird droppings. Kind of a bummer, but not a deal breaker. All in all it's a really nice, clean place to stay, with a very comfy bed.

Wonderful Stay In the Middle of the City

Wonderful hotel that is in the middle of the city, it was nice to stay and be surrounded by things to do and restaurants to eat at. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and we had a full coffee machine with real ceramic cups and a stove,(that we didn’t really need but was nice to have). Two things that could be better is the shower head, which it “seemed” as if it had multiple settings for spraying out but did not, it sprayed all over the place and into my freshly washed and straightened hair, not good. And the second, there was no luggage rack to put my luggage on top and off of the floor, which would be nice, instead of bending over constantly and getting things out of mine & my toddler’s luggage. Other than that, great hotel!

This hotel doesn’t mention that you have to pay $100 extra for each pet when advertising as pet friendly. So you pay for the room and then have to pay an extra $100 ‘fee’ for your pet. We have two small dogs so the hotel was $225 PLUS $200 for dogs. This hotel is not worth $425 per night. It’s a mediocre place and staff are unfriendly

My stay was 11/9/2024. I will say that I enjoyed my time there and it was a very easy experience. It was a one day stay as I was in Olympia for a concert that night.

All in all, I would stay there again.

Check in was mid-day and easy. They were able to put me in a room at noon, when 3pm was the stated check-in time.

Staff were all pleasant and helpful. The room I was in was a 1 bedroom suit, it was good size, clean, and just what I needed.

The room amenities were in good shape and clean.

One tip I will give is that the parking was almost completely full at 10:30pm when I got back from the concert. I think we found the last open spot on the property. However, there was street parking around the property and that had plenty of spots. As they only enforce that M-F 8am to 5pm, that would have been my backup.

I reserved a room with a King Bed, the front desk gal gave us an "Upgrade" to a suite but the bed was downsized to a Queen instead, I was not informed of that difference ahead of time. Considering it is a hotel it was odd that there was NO luggage racks, nowhere to put our bags while we we were there. The counter in the bathroom had very little space to use around the sink to place anything to use. The tap water was horrible, there was something in the building outside making it hard to sleep. Between lack of sleep and awefull water I did not feel very good the next morning. The water in the shower was too strong, like it was trying to beat you up. I would not stay there again.
