Stayed four nights at the hotel. Location was perfect for our trip. Beds are comfortable, shower is great, plenty of parking. Housekeeping was reported to come every other night; however, they did not come. We had to go to the front desk on several occasions for towels, TP, tissue, coffee, cups; we took our own trash out. Some of the staff were very friendly about it but some seemed annoyed. We did not purchase the breakfast so cannot comment. Grocery and restaurants are nearby. They have a snack area as well.

The property itself was excellent, which is why this experience was so disappointing. We specifically chose this hotel with the expectation that breakfast would be available, as advertised. However, on Sunday morning we were informed that there was no breakfast because there wasn’t a cook.

As a result, my significant other and I had to leave the hotel to find breakfast elsewhere, creating an unexpected expense and disrupting what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. Guests should not have to leave the property to find a basic amenity that is included with their stay simply because of a staffing issue.

While we understand that unexpected circumstances can happen, the hotel should have had a contingency plan in place or notified guests in advance. This experience fell well below our expectations and significantly impacted our stay. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and implements a solution so future guests are not inconvenienced in the same way.

Overall, a solid stay at Hilton Garden Inn Olympia. It’s located about a 5-minute drive from downtown (near 4th St), which is convenient if you have a car.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained throughout. The bds were extremely comfortable — we both slept straight through the night.

Breakfast is not free (2 for $30) and buffet-style, with a good variety (eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.). Parking is free, which is a nice bonus for anyone driving in.

A couple of downsides (Room 416):

•The toilet’s flush handle was hard to use — required a lot of force to flush. Front desk said this was just the toilet’s mechanism and couldn’t be fixed.
•The hairdryer was dirty, with visible hair on it — clearly hadn’t been cleaned.

Overall, a clean, comfortable, good-value hotel — the breakfast and parking are definite pluses, and the bed was great. A bit more attention to bathroom fixtures and cleaning would make it even better. Good option for a short trip or business travel.

This place is clean. Has a really cute pool for the kids. The restaurant is great. And they have a bar in the evenings. It’s all you need and it’s really great, right in the heart of Olympia.

The hotel was clean and convenient to the venue I needed to be at. Only complaints were the uncomfortable bed and flat pillows, no parking close to entrance ant night and no tea kettle in room.

We got a suite and it felt incredibly dingy and worn out. There were marks on the walls and parts of the carpet had snagged and ripped. The layout was very weird and it looked as if it was missing furniture and there were some dents in the walls.

I mentioned it to staff and the girl I spoke to indicated that it was just an old room that needed the furniture to be replaced (apparently happening this fall). There was no offer of going to a different room or having housekeeping visit.

The property is very conveniently located, parking is convenient, most staffers were pleasant, and the lobby was lovely, but if this room is indicative of others, it felt worn out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean as was the lobby and pool. We enjoyed being close to downtown but just far enough away from the busy downtown life. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in the area.

This is a beautiful property, however, it’s definitely in need of either aesthetic upgrades or structural upgrades. Exterior property is stunning, the bathrooms have leaks and or inoperable plumbing and the network went down a few times as well as an elevator that has broke during our stay. I truly loved every moment, I believe this should be reported

We are staying in an accesible room due to my mother being in a wheelchair. The accessible rooms do not have a door stop or an automatic door opener button to get into and out of the room safely or easily. The beds were listed as lower for accessiblilty but they are too high and are not adjustable. Front desk personnel were unable to answer my questions about the accessible rooms with certainty.
The cleaning staff are super curteous and friendly but did not restock our supplies the first week. We ran out of tissue, TP and coffee. The wait staff in the bar/restaurant are friendly and helpful. We had to park in back as the 2 handicap parking spaces were taken up front. The draw back is the the back entrance has a set of two doors you have to navigate through and you need to have yoyr card key to access. This is not iseal with a wheelchair. This second week we reserved a roll in shower and were placed in a room with a bath tub. Again the front desk is not knowledable about the rooms they have and dont seem to care much. The place is clean.

We brought our cat and were able to check in early for a two night stay. However after getting settled in we saw signs posted on elevator that the fire department was coming for two hours the following day and would be setting off alarms and then would have to enter each room to shut them off individually. We were going to go off for the next day but had to remove our cat from the premises so she wouldn’t be terrified by the sound and by a stranger coming into our room. This was a big inconvenience and after paying a pet fee, I wish I had been told before I checked in.

Nicer, more sophisticated and substantial than the average motel. The furnishings, lighting, etc. were pleasing to the eye rather than merely practical. The bathroom definitely needed a fan, but I'm sure that a lot of people say that. I was surprised that breakfast came with a charge. And yet, it wasn't staffed like a restaurant. I felt more like an afterthought, rather than someone the staff was keeping an eye out for.
