Definitely will be going back. Staff was kind and room and premises clean. The only reason I gave a 4 was due to a person who said they were checking in by the front desk. This person had a pitbull off its leash and then got extremely agitated with me when i asked him if he could put the dog on a leash. So while I felt safe for most of the time there, the last few minutes could have gone bad very quickly. I kept myself calm and quickly gave the employee my pass key to the room and left. Thinking someone should be at the desk when the coffee and breakfast items are out.

When checking in, we were informed that the only kitchen items they had were a few dishes. No pots, pans, utensils, etc. These may have become available later in the stay, but we didn't bother to ask. I would think that the kitchens would be kept stocked as they are a key amenity to an extended stay hotel.

Also, while there were signs clearly indicating no smoking within 25 feet of an entrance, there were people smoking just outside of the doors most times that we entered or exited the property. There doesn't seem to be enough staff to enforce the rules or an interest on the part of the property owner to enforce this either.

Quiet location; would have been better but the room wasn’t clean when we checked in. Crumbs on the floor & chair, something else on the floor that my dog wanted to lick, the bathtub had hair and a ring of what appeared to be left from someone’s bath in it, and one of the pillowcases had splashes of something on it; wasn’t clear if the sheets had been changed. Spoke to the front desk about it and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from dinner. When we returned the only thing different was the pillowcase. Thankfully we had our sleeping bag and our own pillows with us. The staff was friendly.

At check-in time, I was given a key to a room that was not ready (trash in hall, shoes in room, towels on floor, things on counter, and bed not made) and looked like someone was still there. I hauled all my luggage back downstairs to the desk and got a room with a smaller bed than i booked. The next morning, the door keys stopped working and we were locked out of our room hours prior to check out time. Staff was nice, but would not recommend.

Would recommend staying on top floor. Very loud. We were on second floor and it sounded like the person above us was running around all night long. Hard to sleep if you are seeking a quiet stay. Location is convenient and right off the freeway. Also had Jack in the Box and 711 within walking distance. You are able to request more supplies for kitchen, however very limited. And no sponge and only provided two little packets of dish soap. Would suggest bringing your own. Unusual situation regarding bath towels, required to trade used towels to get fresh bath towels. Even with multiple people staying multiple nights. Unsure if we would stay again.

The room \"appeared\" clean at first...then we started to notice little things like a dirty wash cloth, then when we went to the bed and pulled back the covers, there was hair, crumbs, mud, and blood looking spots underneath. The manager was kind enough to comp our room but I just don't understand how this happened. We used to love extended stays.

I love the kitchen in the rooms and the re model. Was a little inconvenient with rooms moving and parking. I don't like that the price has raised so high it's become unaffordable at times I just sleep in my car instead. Inflation is out of control and as often as we rent rooms I feel like we are being overcharged we the customer (regulars) pay into the upgrades Everytime we stay here. Also breakfast in the bare minimal and always running out of instant food it's not even hot and for the price please do better.

The room was freshly painted and they were working on other parts of the hotel. It was soundproof to the outside but unfortunately screaming and crying kids across the hall for a large part of the evening were a bit disruptive.
The full sized fridge and freezer was helpful and the bed was very comfortable.
I think that providing of breakfast is a misnomer, really its coffee and a choice of two packaged unhealthy snacks.
The parking was easy and the location is close to the I5 without the noise.

A clean, comfortable, safe place to stay as long as you don't expect much in the way of amenities. Having a small kitchen in the room is a convenience but only when it's stocked with kitchen items. All those things -including a coffee maker- are available but they have to be requested at front desk. There isn't an ice machine in the building so allow several hours for ice to freeze in the provided, but empty, ice cube trays in the room. For our needs the location, price and other plusses made for a good stay and we'll stay again when in the area.

Property is under construction. Started at 6:30 in the morning so hope you don’t want to sleep in. Breakfast that’s included is coffee and tea. If you include breakfast you should be able to chew it! No ice machine on property. They allow animals in all the rooms. Our bed skirts had white dog hair on them. Front desk staff could care less about our concerns or complaints. Only positive I can give is location. Close to shopping and freeway.

There was food in the refrigerator from a previous guest and the room was not clean (noticeable pet hairs on furniture). I attempted to talk to someone at the front desk, but no one was there between 9:30-9:45, so I ended up leaving and did not stay.

The room and amenities were great, clean and operable in every way. The housekeeping and front desk staff were fabulous and cheerful and helpful. Their floor manager however lacks basic decency and communication skills. My kids and I slept in and missed check out time but enjoyed the stay so much we planned to extend the room, I went to the front desk and discussed options with the staff member who suggested I call Expedia to see if there was any assistance offered in our goal, so I exited the building to walk my dog while calling. My phone needed charge so I went to my vehicle to call when my kids called saying they were being threatened with police if they don’t leave right now. Immediately after I get a phone call from said manager accusing me of ignoring her staffs requests for me to vacate the room - when I corrected her in advising nobody’s asked me to leave she asked me to call support of the website I used for booking and that’s what I was doing what is the issue and all of the sudden the problem was the “condition of the room” my children were sleeping on the bed with a mountain of clean clothes we’d just washed and I was making use of the amenities in room by cooking them a proper supper which was a luxury for us at the time. The room looked like people were actually living - which apparently offended her. She advised me she added me to some power trippy do not rent list and I ended the conversation and collected my children belongings and spent my money elsewhere

The bathroom sink didn't drain. My room key didn't work. The \"free breakfast\" should called something else. I came down at 7 and there wasn't anything there but one oatmeal bag. The air is loud and kept me awake. The elevator smelled of Marijuana.The staff was friendly.

The best part about this property is the person named cheddar and I don’t mean the money I mean the cheese she also goes by shredder. She is tiny but mighty a sweetheart, but also knows how to make sure you mind your ps and cues in all situations. I highly recommend going on any day of the week your heart desires because not a single person there is rude or mean or treat you like you’re less than the most important person when you walk into that lobby. The prices are perfect. The beds are comfortable and the TVs are huge 4K televisions that you can also plug a Roku in to make yourself feel more at home. I go here every single week when I’m in Seattle I would not go anywhere else to stay this place feels like home away from home and I cannot think of another place. I’d rather be when I’m working 15 hour days.

Our room was wheelchair accessible. The shower had no lip to prevent water leaking out, so the entire floor was flooded. My partner slipped and fell and hurt himself. Make sure to request a non-ADA room if you are able!!!

They would not provide wifi without me releasing my email for their advertising. I did that and there was still no wifi. No USB charging ports in the room like all modern hotels provide. The breakfast was unlike what they advertised and probably the worst I've ever had in a hotel. The only offerings were instant oatmeal packets that I could make in a coffee cup or tiny, dry old chocolate muffins. Icky!

The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. She should not have had to be helpful about the fact that my room had not been made up, and move me to a different room.
The hotel is celebrating 30 years, and it looks like they haven't refreshed much in all that time. Everything was a little on the ragged side. I doubt I will stay here again.

Good location is all I liked. The rest: all I can say is DON'T STAY HERE UNLESS THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE. The rooms are shabby and the rugs look like every animal in Tumwater peed on them. The corridors always smelled like marijuana. The rooms have a kitchenette but you have to ask for plates and flatware. When we did, a dirty bowl and an incomplete set of flatware were sent in a plastic bin. There is nowhere to sit outside, not even a bench by the door. If you have animals, you are charged a hefty daily fee PER ANIMAL. We moved to a Marriott as soon as we could. If traveling with pets, a room there will cost less and you won't worry about walking on the carpet in your bare feet.

But the condition of the hotel itself was more like a motel 6 and had sveral families living out of it on out floor with barking dogs and the smells that come with them. The smell of weed seems to be with us the entire way from the lobby to our room. \"Breakfast included\" means coffee, tea and granola bars.

Front desk people were great, as they always are at this location. The good: Main areas of room reasonable clean. Floor appeared cleaned and mopped on the areas where you walk. The location is convenient because it's right next to a convenience store and west olympia isn't far. Air conditioning unit working and in good order. The bad: Fridge had not been wiped out. Red jelly-like substance smeared on the top rack. Crumbs of last guest on the bottom of the fridge. Faint sea-food like smell in the room permeated and did not go away, I just got used to it. The areas of the floor that are visible to the eye but not walked on had not been cleaned. Bed was neat, clean and tidy, however it was not real comfortable. Last time I stayed it was, so it really depends on what room you get, I think. There was a long black hair on the side of the shower wall. There was a short curly hair in the bottom of the tub. It grossed me out and I declined to take a bath like I had planned and just took showers. Looked like cleaning the room was a rush job. For what people pay if it's only one night, we deserve better. The good again: the front desk people are always a great example of excellent customer service and always have a great attitude. That matters a lot. This company does great with front desk service but needs to raise their housekeeping standards when they train staff in that role.

Most places like this have a breakfast room and provide you with a substantial breakfast. This one does not. They did however give us a kitchen in our room, although you have to get utensils, dishes, pots and pans from the front desk. In any case, we didn't use the kitchen. Also the mattress was not great and the room smelled like fresh wall paint. You can do better for your money.
