Advertised as on the harbor, it was actually two parking lots away from the harbor. The elevator was pathetic: small, slow, and dirty, and the landing was dirty. Bird crap on the windows and the view from the other window was gross; the rooftop was several floors below. The room was ok. TV sound and CC didn't work, and two attempts to ask for help resulted in nothing.
On the plus side, the location was nice, the room was big and clean, and the front desk staff were nice.

What ruined our trip was the night staff. We returned from a sailboat trip at 9:40 and the parking lot was packed. Staff suggested we park near curb and trees but would block others in. When it was brought to his attention, he suggested we either wait 18 minutes for maintenance to leave or park on the street because it was free until 8am.
We were traveling with two kids and neither was an option to me after paying $400 for one night and a van parked out front with people drinking and smoking were casually hanging out in spots. After having to argue with him, he finally said he would move his personal car from a spot.
What bothered me most was where was that suggestion earlier? Why not park in the street to begin with since you’re leaving before 8am anyway. The rude responses of parking was “complimentary” and “first come first served” makes me never interested in using this company again.

I love the hospitality of the staff. They were so kind, especially to my small children. Ash was the woman who helped me check in and she made a special birthday card for my child. It was a lovely surprise and so sweet. Everyone was so friendly. The gentleman at the bar was very kind as well. We really enjoyed the breakfast. There were so many options to choose from. I would definitely stay again in the future.

There was nothing about the overall experience that warrants the cost. Apparent remodel / repair work on the property has dumpsters and materials out into the parking lot. Condition and quality of the property and room is average. Appeared to be a less fortunate, possibly homeless person, going through the repair materials / garbage in the parking lot, shouting and throwing things on the ground, approximately 30 feet from the front entrance, and I did not see staff come out to address it for the five minutes that I watched. Two blocks walk from where multiple tents and carboard shelters are set up blocking the sidewalks, so the general feeling of the immediate neighborhood is less than pleasant. A spill outside the front doors, and the crooked welcome carpet just inside the front doors appeared to go unaddressed for over an hour.

Really nice property and in a nice location. Two issues to consider: car parking in the hotel lot is currently tight because of construction and the other is there are a lot of homeless people wandering around this area. Not particularly dangerous during the day, but I probably wouldn’t walk around alone at night.

Front desk stuff was extremely rude an unaccomodating. I forgot my driver license at home and offered my boater license (no photo) or a credit card as alternative. That was not good enough for them. Rather than they ask me questions to identify me, I had to suggest adding my wife to the reservation and show her driver license for them to honor my reservation. . When I asked for a manager, the front desk clarck referred me to her \"manager\" seating next to het, who suggested that I might be engaged in human trafficking since I had no driver license with me...Mr. Hilton is turning in his grave....Totally unacceptable

Not a great room layout. Had to call the front desk twice to get all the bedsheets and linens for the pull out sofa. Shower nozzle needs to be replaced and upgraded. Good Location - No Frills

Location was good and staff was kind but the building is clearly old with one slow elevator, we got checked in and were told the wrong room number so we went up and down a few times.

Looks like the rooms are in the process of renovation via a slap of new paint, the paint odor was strong in the towels and some of the bathroom fixtures were covered in painters tape that was never removed after painting.

The hotel rooms are being updated which it needs. While our room was ok , it definitely needs to be updated so we're looking forward to that on our next stay. That being said even while being under construction the hotel was quiet and they did an excellent job in keeping the dust and noise to the very minimum. I do want to point out how great the staff is. Very friendly and helpful. Quick to help with any needs. This was our second stay in about a 1 1/2 years and it's nice to see some of the same friendly faces.

Property was going through remodeling and the noise and debris from the construction was too much to be able to enjoy our stay. Of course this isn’t mentioned when you book the room.

Staff was friendly.

The hotel was clean and very walkable to shops and restaurants. Although we were aware that there would be some remodeling going on during our visit, it was very noisy during the day. Also, the one and only vanity mirror was useless. That made it very difficult for both my husband and myself getting ready.

A literal block away I had to dodge multiple bodies passed out in the literal street from heroine overdoses while driving back to the hotel from the grocery store. There were also some drugged up zombies wondering the area. This was at around 5pm, btw. I did not feel safe taking my kid to the park across the street. Do better, Olympia! When I parked the car at the hotel I made sure to park right up front to increase the odds that it wouldn’t get broken into. Cookie was great, though!

Property itself is great. Lot of homeless people in the area. Didn’t look like the safest spot in town. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance.

Excellent walking along the boardwalk. On site parking no charge. Quiet, great bed and bedding. On site breakfast, only used once but had good options and was good for the price.

Great location

Good location, nice location right on the waterfront. The seagulls left lots of “presents” on my car!

Rooms, facilities and staff were excellent - the beds and linen in particular are noteworthy.
Environment wast harbourside, with many good restaurants within one or two minutes walk.
As evenings drew in the homeless of the city gravitated to the vicinity to bed down, which may be disconcerting for some guests.

The hotel has not been updated since our last visit some years ago. You are overpriced for what is delivered. I will not return until you rehabilitate this property.

Great experience.

Great experience overall. Nice room. Good service.

It would be nice to have pens and notepads in the rooms though. Tried to play a board game and were missing parts.

Just needs closer to real eggs.

Location is great. Unfortunately the rooms were not that clean. The bathroom had some mold and water issues, and stains on the walls. The temperature control in the rooms was inconsistent and loud- I woke up multiple times too hot or too cold. Not what I expect from a double tree.

I loved everything about my stay, the staff was great, the room was fantasic, and we had the best time in the pool! My one negative mark was breakfast is not included (i knew this when booking). I figured since the cost was $9.95 per person it would be a really good buffet so worth i didnt mind and planned on paying, but it was exactly the kind of continental breakfast you get for free at most other hotels. Still worth a 5 star review between the other amenities, the staff, and the rooms.
