Front desk stuff was extremely rude an unaccomodating. I forgot my driver license at home and offered my boater license (no photo) or a credit card as alternative. That was not good enough for them. Rather than they ask me questions to identify me, I had to suggest adding my wife to the reservation and show her driver license for them to honor my reservation. . When I asked for a manager, the front desk clarck referred me to her \"manager\" seating next to het, who suggested that I might be engaged in human trafficking since I had no driver license with me...Mr. Hilton is turning in his grave....Totally unacceptable

The room was clean and very nice, the front desk staff was wonderful. But, the constant noise from the construction from 7:30 AM to 11:30 pm was hard. Sleeping was difficult.
I’m aware that doesn’t go on all of the time, but cost versus sleep was not great.

Not a great room layout. Had to call the front desk twice to get all the bedsheets and linens for the pull out sofa. Shower nozzle needs to be replaced and upgraded. Someone complained about the food at the bar while I was there. And the towels in the pool fit only toddlers… will not be booking there again.

Location was good and staff was kind but the building is clearly old with one slow elevator, we got checked in and were told the wrong room number so we went up and down a few times.

Looks like the rooms are in the process of renovation via a slap of new paint, the paint odor was strong in the towels and some of the bathroom fixtures were covered in painters tape that was never removed after painting.

Very welcoming! David greeted us with a smile and warm cookies. Check in was fast and efficient. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable,
The hotel is located close to restaurants and the marina and attractions like the Farmers Market and Children’s Hands on museum. The hotel gave us coupons for the museum as well as a free appetizer for Anthony’s Home Port which was in walking distance of the hotel.

Everything about our stay was great although we didn’t get the room that I booked but it was fine. The view from our window was kind of ugly- the roof with the air conditioner right outside the window, but no big deal. Renovations going on down the hall from our room, but it wasn’t a disturbance.

The hotel rooms are being updated which it needs. While our room was ok , it definitely needs to be updated so we're looking forward to that on our next stay. That being said even while being under construction the hotel was quiet and they did an excellent job in keeping the dust and noise to the very minimum. I do want to point out how great the staff is. Very friendly and helpful. Quick to help with any needs. This was our second stay in about a 1 1/2 years and it's nice to see some of the same friendly faces.

Also, the one and only vanity mirror was useless. That made it very difficult for both my husband and myself getting ready.

A literal block away I had to dodge multiple bodies passed out in the literal street from heroine overdoses while driving back to the hotel from the grocery store. There were also some drugged up zombies wondering the area. This was at around 5pm, btw. I did not feel safe taking my kid to the park across the street. Do better, Olympia! When I parked the car at the hotel I made sure to park right up front to increase the odds that it wouldn’t get broken into. Cookie was great, though!

Rooms, facilities and staff were excellent - the beds and linen in particular are noteworthy.
Environment wast harbourside, with many good restaurants within one or two minutes walk.
As evenings drew in the homeless of the city gravitated to the vicinity to bed down, which may be disconcerting for some guests.

I loved everything about my stay, the staff was great, the room was fantasic, and we had the best time in the pool! My one negative mark was breakfast is not included (i knew this when booking). I figured since the cost was $9.95 per person it would be a really good buffet so worth i didnt mind and planned on paying, but it was exactly the kind of continental breakfast you get for free at most other hotels. Still worth a 5 star review between the other amenities, the staff, and the rooms.

I've stayed at DoubleTree Olympia several times over the years. It's a very reliable, comfortable hotel with easy access to Percival Landing (Puget Sound), good restaurants and historic downtown Olympia. Understandably, the hotel is in process of refurbishing but it's still in good condition overall and clean. I look forward to seeing the 'new' hotel.

Shower desperately needs cleaning. Seeing the orange mildew on the grout was not pleasing. In addition, who installs glass for the shower & does not seal it off, leaving a gap between the wall & glass. Water was puddled on the floor causing a safety hazard, even with a towel on the floor.

This hotel is in a good neighborhood to access area shops and restaurants and it’s near the marina. The hotel itself, however, was not that impressive. They’re in the middle of updating rooms and I’m not sure if ours was on the list. We paid for a suite and there was no door between the bedroom and the rest of the unit. This defeated the purpose of having a suite for us as there was no sound barrier. Really weird room layout. Also got weary of them nickel and diming us if we weren’t Hilton Honors members. Don’t charge us for WiFi and a bottle of water. Just provide those services to all your guests and offer other perks as Honors members. I think this hotel thinks it’s more than it actually is.

We were in town for my GrandDaughters softball tournament so I booked 2 rooms. My Daughter and GrandDaughter had to park on the street as there wasn’t ample parking. There was also people who approached our group asking uncomfortable questions leaving us all not feeling safe.
Breakfast was not ready at the time the hotel said it would be and we were counting on this to save a stop and fuel the girls with protein before their game. Only cereal and they wanted to charge full price.
The bed was the only good thing about our stay.

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel didn’t have the Mariners as an option to watch in the room. Kinda a bummer since it’s our home baseball team. Last night we had to park on the street bc there was no parking left in the parking lot. Not the hotel’s fault, but there was a few homeless sleeping across the street from the hotel. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful and friendly.

Overall a very nice experience. Check-in was cheerful and efficient, room was clean, bed very comfortable. Bathroom shower set-up a bit odd, have to step into the shower to turn it on and get a splash of cold water. A few sketchy characters in the neighborhood in the morning but that isn't really the hotel's fault and not their problem.

Worst service!! I'd never recommend this hotel. Our thermostat didn't work and I woke up freezing cold at night. I couldn't get the heater to turn on. The worst part is that even though I filed for a maintenance ticket with the front desk as I checked out, they would not give a partial refund at all through Expedia. Worst hotel!!

My stay at Double Tree was very nice. Everyone was very accommodating. My room was very clean and the staff very courteous. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance and if you don’t want to leave the hotel they have a small restaurant that has a small menu. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Continental breakfast would be a good thing to offer as the extra cost of breakfast wasn't great.
