Room was very clean. There is a parking garage under the hotel, plenty of parking. It was confusing as to where the main lobby and entrance is when you first arrive, look for a dark log facade. No signs on exterior of building. Breakfast was good with eggs, a meat, and potato variety, as well as waffles, cereal bread, muffins etc.
The initiial check was fine, while waiting for a luggage cart we went to the room and discovered no heat. We had to wait 30 minutes for the GM but he was awesome and gave us a different room, and checked in with us a couple times after our first night to make sure everything was good.

Our only concern with this hotel is they need to replace/upgrade the old wall heaters in some of the rooms.

Again the GM is a hard worker and resolved our issue quickly. We will definitely stay again.

Pluses: 1.) It's one of the few \"budget\" options in Mammoth that have covered parking. It can be a real plus if it's snowing. 2.) a huge indoor hot tub. 3.)Breakfast is included.
Minuses: basically everything else. The rooms are dumpy, climate control is non existent: with old radiators you either sweat to death or freeze. I complain about it every time when I visit mammoth: why is there no \"Middle?\" Either you're in a dumpy old condo, Dilapidated motels that are by far the worst locations in the chains (I've stayed in Q inns where gunfire is constant that look like the ritz compared to this place), or you're paying 600 plus a night for anything approaching the most mediocre Courtyard, comfort, or Holiday Inn in anytown USA. If it wasn't my favorite (and drivable) mountain I'd go anywhere else but I guess that's why they don't even try to improve anything.

The bathroom is small compared to the rest of the room. The room was clean. It was too warm and we tried turning down the heat. Fortunately, there was a fan in the room and we moved it closer to the bed. There was a second fan but it didn't work. Also, the TV was small. I guess we're spoiled. We also wished breakfast was served earlier (like 6 am) Oh, the coffee in the room was nasty!

The property is conveniently located, with a bus stop in front of the building providing access to the village gondola, as well as a Red Line bus stop across the street. The lobby lighting is dim, and there is limited visible activity in the common areas. The front desk is often unattended, and staff interactions were minimal. Cleanliness was below standard, including a stained bed observed when the cover was removed and a dirty room floor. Towels appeared worn and aged, reflecting the property’s level of upkeep. Overall, the property provides a convenient option for short stays, particularly for snowboard or ski trips, with basic accommodations.

We had a delayed check-in as we arrived after midnight and the system had considered us a \"no-show\". The night manager found a solution to get us in our room but didn't actually check us in which caused some confusion the next day. Our key card didn't work coming back from the slopes and the day manager had to reprocess everything... Not a big deal, just fyi to look into late arrivals. The staff was very nice, room was clean, breakfast was filling and spa very enjoyable after a day out in the cold.

The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was a nice way to get some fuel before skiing. It is not too hard to walk into the village, probably about 15 minutes. The beds were comfortable and the room was modern and spacious. The room did smell pretty weird though, luckily it cleared out by opening the window.

I’ve stayed here now 6-7 times and always enjoy it. Cant be the location, clean rooms, and massive indoor hot tub. But they need to do something about the plumbing, because the last few stays have had issues with the toilet not flushing well enough and the water pressure is terrible.

Have stayed here in the past and while it's a very convenient location, safe & the beds are comfortable - overall, it's tired and needs upgrades. If you need a crash pad - it's fine, if you're looking for an elevated experience - stay elsewhere. There was a floor fan to circulate air and grout was missing in the shower. The bathroom area looks like they really need to tear it down to studs and start over. The biggest personal issue is the lack of deliberate water pressure for a good shower after a day of hiking.

This is a pet free hotel right in the heart of the North Village. There are lots of food options on the same side of the street right next door and for a few blocks (including Schatz Bakery about a five minute walk away). The staff are super friendly and there is underground parking.

Quaint, clean inn. Great breakfast options, easy to find parking, and in a great location. Walking distance to bike rental/gift shops and The Village, and a 15-minute drive from the ski resort. Only complaint was the water pressure - sink and shower pressure fell through a couple hours into our stay. I saw water leaking from a pipe in the parking garage though, so I assume such issues aren’t the norm and there just happened to be a plumbing issue during our stay. Definitely would stay here again!

There was some kind of cleaning going on in the parking garage that left my car completely covered in dust/dirt. Surprised that they would do that with guest cars there. Horrible service. A/C was out throughout the whole hotel, the room was given a fan to use. The Jacuzzi was also out of service and not listed as out of service. We were not told about any of this when checking in until I went back downstairs to let them know our A/C is not working then was told AC is broken and Jacuzzi is drained. The only good thing was the weather was a lot cooler. The answer I got from front desk was, if I booked through third party then they don’t notify customers of AC not working and Jacuzzi out of service. Room was ok, baseboards were dirty, tub had a crack and water pressure was low.

This was a great location in town, can easily walk to the main shops. The staff let us check in early which was extremely helpful since we were needing to get ready for a wedding. We needed a stopover-to sleep hotel after our 8 hour drive. Staff was pleasant, room was clean. I noticed large fans in the room and thought it was weird. We do a lot of road trips and AC is the only amenity I use when filtering hotels. But I’ve never had to filter that when in California. And we aren’t fancy hotel goers. So sleep was rough because the fans, which were necessary, were incredibly loud. Our TV didn’t work and Wi-Fi and phone service were both very spotty. I used a hair tie to get my phone charger to stay in the outlet. We tried charging another device in the bathroom but that outlet was not working. It was late when we arrived so we weren’t going to try and change rooms. But probably won’t stay again.

There are probably better places to stay

The hotel is a little dinged up and dingy. There was no AC in the room (only a heater) and it had been a very warm day. We opened the window to try and chill the room off but the room faced the street and we let the noise in. Not a restful stay. For $200, not a bargain either.

This would be an excellent place to stay in the winter (NOT in the summer and I'll tell you why later). Great location right off the main road, easy parking, pizza/bar/shopping right next door, large hot tub (heated pool) inside, excellent continental breakfast, lockers in the underground garage for your snow gear.

Now for why you probably don't want to stay in the summer. NO A/C!!! I've never stayed in a hotel that didn't have A/C so I didn't even know that was a thing I had to look up. The room was over 80 degrees when we got there. There is one standing fan but it does little unless you're laying right next to it. The window did open so we were able to slightly cool down the room over night. Also, the room was run down a bit. The bathroom needs a fan to remove moisture because it's pealing the paint, etc.

Overall, I'd stay here again in the winter, but not in the summer.
