The new owners are renovating the rooms on the hotel side. The beds were comfortable. Not too hard and not too soft. Same for the pillows. The fridge was probably older than I am but it still worked really well. The only little gripe I have was the painting we had in our room was a little too big. Kept bumping into it to get to the bathroom.

Our cabin was roomy and perfect for a snowy weekend. It is an older property that’s been fixed up just enough to be functional, with a bit of a dated and awkward layout, but we made it work and still enjoyed our stay. The location is fairly far from town, with only one restaurant within walking distance. We would stay again, just know it’s quite rustic.

Definitely a value for your money but a little bit rough around the edges. One bedroom suite said it had a single couc bed which actually meant you’re sleeping on the couch. No pull out bed. Reached out to app never got a response. Heater broke, and was off upon arrival. Had to start pilot light ourselves. Overall happy with stay even though has to have space heaters brought in. Would have just got the two queens of we had known about no second bed.

Room was in need of updates and was pretty run down. I guess we got one of the not yet remodeled rooms, unfortunately. Staff was GREAT! Blake was available to us for our needs such as plugged sink, coffee pot and was a good guy! Look out for dog piles. I can’t believe people don’t pick up after their dogs! I do always!! We stepped in it at night a couples times, no bueno! We would prob stay there again though but request a remodeled room for sure.

Nice one bedroom. The king size bed was very comfortable. We had to turn on the water heater and the refrigerator. It wasn't a big deal, just happy we turn on the water heater the night before. The refrigerator was fine too, just could not see the numbers to set the temp. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again. Huge winter storm came in and we left a day early. But a great stay. Thanks so much!

Saw my bill the other dayand didn't have time to check it before going. I was surprised that they charged me too much. This booked in the middle of the week. Supposedly way affordable vs booking it on weekends. Room was not even great with the price. It looked nice and showing an oven/stove on the picture, but in reality, it was not even there and there was a small portable electrical., Shower was not great. However, I was ok to deal with those amenities they have. But I can't deal with the weekday pricing. I couldn't remember how it happened during the booking day, But what I remember was around $90 something for 2 pips. Otherwise, I could have just booked the one across the street. The Double Eagle Resort and Spa with the $193 + price..tax and and other fees included. Anywho, at least I know what to do next time

However, the facility is run down with a lot of smaller issues, ie missing knobs on lamp, drawer and wall heater, dirty heating vents, missing baseboards, hole in the wall with cable curled up inside, lack of caulking by the tub, old curtain rods that are no longer being used, door lock that is problematic to use, outdoor furniture and cushions askew, lack of urgency to unclog a toilet (mentioned twice before action was taken), room entrance code was provided in an unsealed envelope taped to the office door with my name on it for check-in. No towel bars in the bathroom only hand grips for handicap toilet use.

Location is great! Right across the road is a fantastic view of the mountains and a big waterfall (when there's enough snowmelt or rain). The property looks a bit aged, but they keep the rooms updated and we'll furnished. Not sure if all the rooms have a mini kitchen in them, but ours did. Beds were a bit softer than what I normally sleep on at home, but still very comfortable. There's also an indoor hot tub and sauna attached to the main building. We were only there for one night but had an enjoyable stay.

No one working in the front office. No Maid service ,kitchen is in poor condition. Had a hard time trying to get clean linen and Towels . Parking lot building lights. We're mostly out very dark. The Mountain View was beautiful, though.

I was misled to think that this property had a living space with a couch. One of the pictures provided during the reservation showed that. Anyways, property wasn't bad. trying to knock this property just passing on feedback. They offer no services such as turn down or daily room maintenance. The shower head didn’t work it only had a jet function. No staff on property they tapped envelopes with guests room keys on office door. Ice machine wasn’t working and offer no vending machines. Rooms and property is very dated and needs some maintenance.

Great location. 5 minutes from the Lifts (by car). Quiet. We arrived and the key was taped to the window, which was a bit strange, but everything worked out. Room had a nice kitchennette nook with a microwave, keurig (some keurigs provided). Door locks from the outside. Warm and cozy. No problems at all.

We found our room and we couldn’t noticed that the drapes were broken and anyone that was walking by was able to see inside. We couldn’t make our tv to work. Everything about it was in terrible condition. The heater in the bathroom didn’t work shingles were blown off the roof by a slight Wind, a shingle with nails in it fell on my car and dented the hood. There were water stains in the ceiling. The toaster is broken turntable in the microwave doesn’t work the worlds were completely bare.

The bill indicated that I would be occupying room 124. When I arrived there was no one in the office and the door was locked. I did notice that there were two envelopes containing keys with guests names on the envelops. There was no such arrangement for me. A very kind lady who was with the housekeeping staff called someone and eventually someone showed. The man seemed very put out and gave me the impression that I was an inconvenience that he rather not deal with. He sized me up and and asked, Do you have a problem?\" in a very rude manner. He informed me that I was reassigned to a different room and that my key was in the office. Which of course did me no good as the office was locked and unmanned when I arrived.

The shower curtain was ringed in black mold, the shower pan was stained with the reminisce of past bouts of mold. The paint was cracked and peeling from the wall. Wow! We have stayed in many hotels and this definitely goes on one of the worst hotels we’ve every stayed in! Reminded us of the Rose Bud Motel in Schitz Creek! No one at the lobby to assist! My husband had to manually take tank off to flush! Huge crack on the window. No coffee maker! This motel is in desperate need of updating! Such a beautiful setting with mountains, but this place is bad! Destination wedding across the street tried to stay at Double Eagle, but it was booked.

This motel has a beautiful setting in the foothills of the Eastern Sierra Nevadas. Taken in isolation, the motel is old, but clean, facility. but the surroundings really set it off. Also, it has a full kitchen, which is very nice.

A mortuary would look more appealing than this place. Upon checking in, Tammy told us the kitchen light was not working. She had the best intention to give us another room. Calls the manager: he says no. I was expecting a bath tub and it’s a shower. We go back to Tammy and she calls again. Now the manager says yes to another room but I also hear only suites come with a tub. Turns out the price I pay through hotels.com is the price of a suite, above the room price. I thought I git a deal! Ha! So now I am overpaying and not getting a bath tub. Manager does not want to budge. I am willing to pay more… he says no. Probably too much work… there is a jamfest downtown and he probably does not want to be bothered. Bad service. The room is big but dark. Old. Dingy. Needs a serious upgrade. Beds too soft. No outlets by bed, no usb. There is a little kitchen which is great. And a couple of flower pots on site would make you look better. Plenty of other places to stay in town. Save yourself here.

Also the stairs were right next to our room and as we laid in bed it would shake every time people used the stairs. They also need blackout curtains for the room. We were up all night.

The hotel looks abandoned. There was someone to help us find our key in an envelope. No air conditioning. No screens and yes now we have bugs. This hotel room is tired- linoleum buckling, hasn’t been remodeled in decades. Bed is comfortable. I would have been happy to spend half this price.

The room was very clean, including linens and towels. Bed was comfortable, didn't use the WiFi so can't comment on that. TV worked as did kitchen appliances. Wish the refrigerator was a little quieter, but glad to have one in the room!
