I would sleep in my car before I booked a stay here again.

The room we arrived to was not cleaned at all. There were dirty towels all over the place, trash, napkins, and the bed was messy. One of the towels was satined with what looked like blood, it was hanging from the shower. The manager moved us to a different room with an \"upgrade\" but we had to switch rooms for our second night (meaning we had to take all of our stuff out and then move it back when the next room was ready after 4 PM). The next room was actually cleaned but we checked the mattress and there was a bunch of black specks in all of the crevices that looked like bug feces. We ended up just booking a stay at another hotel last minute.

The manager will not give us a refund or any money back. He claims we got $250 in \"upgrades\".

The photos look nice and the place looks good from the outside but don't stay here. It was really expensive for how poorly it's run.

Overall the hotel was fine. Check-in was easy. Room seemed to be updated but the building is just old, so the walls are thin and floors are loud. We could hear all the other guests walking and talking through the walls. The rooms were very small too. Parking was very limited. The one thing that upset us is we had the \"do not disturb\" sign on the door handle and after a day of snowboarding, we came back to the room and someone from the staff had entered the room and replaced the curtains on both windows. The original curtains were a bright yellow and the replacements were a charcoal gray, so it was obvious to us. We do not understand why it was so important for them to do that during our stay instead of after we checked out, but also why they ignored the do not disturb sign...? We would only stay here again as a last resort.

When I read that I expected breakfast but got cookies and cereal bars. No internet the first night which meant no TV. I plan to never return and I'm warning you not to even stay there.

Buyer beware!! Wifi connectivity was non-existent due to there being only a single network for all rooms that crashes when multiple guests are on it. No wifi then mean't no Roku tv/streaming channels available. And some bait & switch items - the room pics showed a large tub with jets. But apparently that didn't mean \"working\" jets or that there'd be enough hot water to fill even a 1/4 of it. Owner's response was that my room didn't come with a \"jacuzzi\" and my expectation of a usable tub was essentially ignored. And the supposed \"continental breakfast\" was a total joke. If you think a couple old packaged pastries, 3 less than appetizing pre-packaged fruit cocktails, a granola bar and some dry cereal constitutes a \"continental breakfast\", then you're an 8 yr old. At least there were coffee pods for the coffee maker...but sadly those too were unusable as there were no cups provided. Okay, okay... it might seem I'm nit-picking and high maintenance but I stay at Motel 6s everywhere for a fraction of this room rate and their services and amenities far surpass what was provided at this \"Inn\". I'm sorry but for $180/night, I don't think it's too much to expect the basics such as wifi, hot water, amenities pictured in ads to exist/work, etc.. And my contact with the owner was met with no answers or help. He did finally give me a discount code for a future booking but lo & behold, that didn't work either!! Steer clear of The Mammoth Inn if you want anything resembling a hotel room.

When we arrived we had to yell \"hello\" for someone to come out to greet us. Her greeting was not friendly as she showed us to our room. While walking upstairs to our room there were a few bags what look to be from the cleaning of a room. Those bags were in the hallway til the next day. We were very grateful to find this room for the holiday week but it was way over priced and did not fit 3 people. When asked for a rollaway bed the cost of $150 was outrageous. All in all the room was clean, the TV worked, the shower had good pressure and the temperature was perfectly set (thank goodness for the ceiling fan). Need to provide parking spaces as well for the number of rooms at the Inn.

It's not believable that multiple people could rate this place a 10/10. Maybe for $50/night, it would be a 10/10. We were warned of limited parking. You may get towed. There was no chair in the room, no A/C, no microwave, the TV didn't work (Only ROKU channels), no ice machine, and no continental breakfast. Like what you advertised on your website, Instead, there were four small boxes of chocolate milk, two small cups of cereal and fruits, and two energy bars. There was no staff when checking in. Instead, all communication was through text messages, and people were in the lobby trying to figure out how to get into their rooms. There was no separate bathroom- the shower, toilet, and sink were off the main room. The room was tiny. Very noisy. We had to leave the place a day early at our supposed check-out because it was uncomfortable. We weren't happy with this place and are considering using another third party to book our future travels and places to stay. We wasted a day of stay that cost so much. We wouldn't recommend this place.

We were not impressed with your property. From the broken front door to the squeaky bed and paper thin floors. Poor parking situation, over communication, penny pinching with the parking passes... Your inn needs a major overhaul. Even the details like busted art work above the bed and broken toilet paper holder, clogged bathroom sink... It was really unacceptable for what the price you asked for it.

Parking for this property is terrible.
The management called and texted many time for me to move my vehicle. I was even woke up after 10pm by a phone call to move my car with no where to move to.

I don't recommend this hotel. There are 9 rooms and pretty much only 4 parking spots, I was lucky to get a spot. Toilet wasn't cleaned when we arrived. Small room, they might have bigger rooms I don't know. Not many places to put your bags. This hotel does not have any staff available, you have to text them if you need someting. Walking distance to restaurnts, and shuttfe stop. 0.7 miles to gondola.

The room stunk to high heaven of what appeared to be Pine-Sol cleaner; the only lamp in the room was broken; Bedsheets were stained; serious parking issues; mildew pervasive in both the shower, and in the corners outside of the showers in the bathroom. Telephone contact numbers left by the inn in case of emergency were non-responsive.

We booked this quickly because we needed a place to stay for literally seven hours to get a good nights sleep before hitting the slopes. After booking we then read the reviews and got very scared! But we it seemed clean and decent. I don’t know if the horrible descriptions made them clean up the place, or maybe we just got lucky with our room.

It should be very clear that this is a self service place. Arriving at 11 there was no one behind the desk but they text you a lockbox number and code to get your key. That went smoothly. We stayed in the motel six the next night and this place was better. It also should be known and there really is no breakfast, except for a few granola bars and two chocolate milks in the fridge. We were the first ones up so I would venture to say that no one else got much breakfast. Definitely don’t count on breakfast here, plan on eating a bigger meal elsewhere if you are looking for nourishment.

The property showed nice on photos however, the door was extremely light weight and didnt fit the frame, you could clearly see in or out of the room around the edges of the frame. The staff stayed up late and dod laundry among many other things right next to the room, we could hear it all as the walls were paper thin. There were also bugs in the bedroom and mold in several places in the bathroom.

This “Inn” is not as depicted in the photos on their website. I paid for two queen beds (for my friend) and there’s only one. This put my friend in an awkward position. Not to mention my embarrassment. We were both horrified! This place looks like a ghetto. There’s old construction stuff dumped. There’s pine needles a foot deep mixed with trash, beer cans, whiskey bottles, cups, plates, trash!, bathtub with weeds, broken table. Ever hear of a trashcan? This place is a fire hazard. I paid for this room for my friend. I’m embarrassed for what she must think of me. Have you been here lately? It feels unsafe. The grounds need some serious cleanup. Update your website photos so people know what to expect. This place does not feel safe. My photos will be on Yelp. Under the circumstances, I’d like a full refund on rm 7 and rm 8. AND my toilet in rm 7 runs constantly. We’re in a drought! My heart thanks you for the artery clogging “breakfast provided” cakes and pastries. Unbelievable!

We checked in nobody was onsite. The ceiling fan didn’t work, the room was stuffy with no AC, ratty towels and dirty bed linens. We told them we needed another room. The other room was even hotter with sun shining directly through window with white stains all over the comforter which was very dirty. There was also dead bugs all over the floor. We told him we wouldn’t be staying and would call hotels.com for a refund

The staff was fantastic 👏 considering current times and all. Only real thing was parking. Yikes. If you didn't you move your car during or after a snow storm you could be subject to a ticket or tow. I have learned a lot about these fun ski vacations and one thing I know for sure is that you have to be on point with all the vehicle regulations.
It can get very complicated. I understand everybody has to make a buck but when your on vacation or out for a little leisure time make sure you do not have to think about the parking if at all possible. This parking part can be a real bummer. FYI make sure you can plainly put the parking permit clearly on your dashboard as well. Merry Christmas and safe travels

This inn makes it painfully obvious that they cut corners to minimize cost to operate their facility. Cleaning staff doesn't seem to care because it only seems they clean once you check out (our room was uncleaned in our entire 3 night stay). There is also no reception - just a sign at the front desk - if you can call it that. There's a number on Expedia to call if you need anything, but all they can do is answer your questions. If you need help, you'll probably have to wait - but I wouldn't know. Amenities were fine - except breakfast which is incredibly misleading. They give you $1 cereal cups - if they even put it out for your - or unlock the fridge for that matter. There was one day (Saturday) that we didn't even get breakfast because the fridge was still locked, and the cereal wasn't left out. I'm getting more upset writing this. Will not be coming back.

The room was a decent size and it included a mini fridge with chocolate milk and granola bars. The cons were the bed frame was extremely cheap and i was afraid two adults were going to break it. The walls were thin and you could hear the TVs of the rooms next to you. The parking was very minimal and not well marked. I would not have booked here again.

I didn’t arrive until evening. It’s down a residential road and there was no parking! Houses on top of one another and if you can manage to find parking on the street you can park there. Then there are signs saying no parking everywhere so I was scared to get towed. It’s self check in so I called them to ask where to park. It was dark couldn’t really see to pull down the narrow path by the side of the building to park between trees. The room wasn’t very clean, blood stains on the sheets!!! Then there is no air conditioning and it’s a small stuffy room. It was so uncomfortable to sleep I would of been better off pitching a tent somewhere than staying here!

Rooms small but nicely decorated. fridge and coffee pot nice. No hair dryer.. only a space heater to plug in for heat. We had an issue with a blown circuit for our room only. No on-site assistance. Called the owner ( very nice and responsive)who called the manager but she was unavailable until 11 pm so they moved us to a Q bed— had a king. Ok this happens. Went to flush the toilet in the new room and the handle came off. My husband fixed it. All still OK til someone knocked and awoke us at 7 am waving a parking pass. Wearing a mask so hard to understand.There was no parking pass in the new room so we left the parking pass from the first room in our vehicle until we could straighten it out the next day. I think I’ll do Motel 6 down the road next time.

A clean place to sleep near the village

The Mammoth Inn has a hostil feel to it. There was no staff on site. You self check in and out. Limited parking (first come first served). The walls are thin so you can hear toilets flushing and people walking down the hall. Not recommended for light sleepers. The jacuzzi tub was what we expected....it worked for like 10 minutes. We needed a last minute place to stay and at least it felt clean and the room smelled like peppermint essential oil when we walked in.
Wifi is really weak. Don’t expect to get any work done in the property.

Rooms are overpriced and the fees are ridiculous, I paid $73 for fees and taxes on a $160 dollar room, my stay was good, just an issue with check inn, I could not check inn till 4:30 pm because the room was not cleaned, so I had to wait an hour and a half to get in my room.

Overall very pleased. They are remodeling and a little noisy but it was very quiet in the pm hours. On arrival we were without hot water but the staff was very accommodating trying to find a room elsewhere if we decided, but we stayed. The next day hot water was back on. The lobby was inviting and check in was very easy.

Would not recommend overpriced hotel. We actually ended up moving hotels. The co-managers are rude and unresponsive. They only reply through texting and refuse to fix the issues. It was dirty, not enough blankts, jacuzzi did not worked, tv control did not work.
If you do decide to stay here do not pay for the jacuzzi room which cost more than 100 dollars than the regular room as itdoes not work and it is a commom issue they experience and wont give you a difference of refund or switch room
The room is plain, no staff in the property. It is more like a hostel.

Room was nice but you can hear threw walls very easily. If the parking in the front is full you have to park on the side driveway which gets iced over during the winter and you could get blocked in.
