If you’re looking for a very dog friendly place that’s also a really nice resort. This hits the Mark.

We didn’t have a dog. But it was cute how they have doggy chairs. Matt, the dog lay on. A doggy park. All while maintaining a very nice atmosphere fireplaces great restaurant and clean rooms.

The exterior portions of the property were very well maintained. The interior was clean, but the stairwells were hard to navigate with luggage. We were not able to bring in all of our equipment into the room because it was upstairs. Unfortunately, our bikes had to stay out in the snow all weekend long there was no option for covered bike rack.

Nice common spaces but the hotel rooms are rather meh. Not a lot of thought went into designing the rooms - lack of plugs (bring an extension cord and power strip), spotty wifi, coffee but no coffee maker, a rather lackluster front desk staff. Not a lot of navigable space in the room, so don't even think about 4 people and all of your ski gear. Not going to happen.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved using the outdoor hot tub while the snow was falling and the steam room was great too. Shout out to Anna at the front desk! She was super friendly and helpful, with a wealth of knowledge. It was a quick 1 night stay but we’d love to come back for longer next time.

This place was a little worse for wear. The sauna was old, stinky and not ever turned on when I tried to go in it.

As much as I love dogs, they were everywhere! Even at the pool/hot tub.

Finally, there was no cleaning service the entire three days I stayed.

This place advertises as a resort but is set up as a very, very expensive motel. Our room cost $360 for one night. Parking is scarce and $25/night. There is no pet area and no pet amenities but pet fee is $50/night. There is no elevator service to 2nd floor rooms. There is no security for guests: no outside doors are keyed and anyone can walk in. There is no breakfast or other free food/drink, so you can pay even more at their restaurants. There is no coffee maker in room: there is a kettle and pods that produce vaguely coffee tasting hot water. If you want water or actual coffee, you must trek to the lobby, and bring your own water container. Good luck finding your room or anything else: signage is minimal and internal only. There is a steam room and sauna, but no lockers, towels, changing rooms or privacy— and no robes in rooms either. Outdoor pool has restroom and towels, but no other amenities. Our room hadn’t been aired, hand wash and lotion hadn’t been refilled, had no table, desk, tub or accessible safe. There were two small bath towels: to get more you have to trek to the lobby. We had two mugs, one chipped on drinking rim. There were no extra blankets. There was a microwave and mini fridge with no accessories to use them. View from the window was the parking lot. And service was a joke: staff was neither welcoming or helpful and uninterested in addressing any of the problems noted above. In short, spend your money elsewhere

The location was very convenient and we were comfortable in our room. I’m not sure if they don’t do housekeeping while you are there or we just got skipped but it would have been nice, especially since it’s cold and you don’t want to shower with the same damp towels or have the one small trash can in the room full for a couple days. Other than that, we liked the property

Lovely stay! We loved the hot tub and sauna, the massive fireplace in the lobby, and the food options onsite (crepes & coffee truck and a bar/restaurant). Staff was always friendly and helpful! Easy location to get anywhere in the Mammoth area. Loved having our furry friend with us as well :)

Nice place to stay, it just feels a little old and worn out, doesn’t give the somewhat luxury feel you would think based on the pictures. The room wasn’t that clean and the staff didn’t explain anything when we checked in; nothing about the amenities or offered services. We just kind of figured it out. Felt like a 2 star/motel experience with a nice pool & jacuzzi.

It was probably my fault for not paying better attention but there was no iron, no desk in the room, or even a small table. I was there for a work trip and it was very difficult without a desk or table to work from. What hotel doesn’t have a table or desk?

The stay was quiet and the room was clean. It is located in the center of town which is nice.

But probably won’t ever stay again due to the outdated /dark room and missing necessary amenities.

On top that they charge a resort fee. :(

We rented two cabins, they were lovely. Both of our wall mounted Samsung heaters did not work (code C4) and we notified the front desk on checkout. The bathroom heater running on high kept my room in the 60s so all was fine.

at $500/night for a double queen, this is old motel with a mini facelift but all the same problems. Thin walls, tiny rooms, at amenities that don’t work. I was surprised to see I had a $29/day “resort fee” on top of what I paid for a hot tub that wasn’t hot (staff said one of the valves wasn’t working) and a steam room that was also broken.
No hotel perks at all - even room cleaning had to be requested the day before, no elevators so your lugging your ski stuff upstairs and down halls to your tiny room with a mini fridge that doesn’t work.

Staff was great. The beds were comfortable and the room was pleasant. The lobby area was a nice hangout spot with free coffee and hot chocolate. The little crepe and coffee place made delicious goodies. Our family of 5 very much enjoyed the stay. This isn’t luxury but it has all the essentials nicely done, with a few little extras. We would definitely stay again.

We love staying here and will continue to stay here. This was our first time in a cabin. The cabin itself was great! Very cofrtable and cozy. The only reason I have only 2 stars is that the hand railing broke when it was needed most. We were careful to step cautiously in the steps since they were covered in ice. But on slip led me to a fall where I grabbed the railing to stop the fall. Instead the railing came off in my hands and then to add insult to injury, I landed on the broken railing. Looking at how it was attached explained why it broke. Very cheap small nails, like it was for decoration and not function.

After I reported it they were quick to take the broken railing away and later fix it.

We paid extra for the fireplace, and it didn't even work. I complained to the front desk twice, they said engineering would look, nothing was done.

The shower was absolutely beyond difficult to operate. It actually worked the opposite from the instructions taped to the wall.

The phone didn't even work, so I had to figure out how to call the front desk with my cell phone.

And there's one hot tub for about 100 rooms. It fits 8 people. At a ski resort...

This is our 4th time staying at this property, we come here bc of their awesome dog policies. They have a water bowl & bed at check in, the morning staff give daily treats, they have a dog park - our weimeraner loves coming here. We also get a stand alone cabin or apt on the newer side but the entire property is great, fire pits, crepe truck, awesome restaurant on site, fresh coffee every morning, we come to snowboarding & rarely leave the property.

The Wi-Fi did not work. The sauna was broken. The hotel does not take down license plate numbers so anyone off the street can go in and park in your lot, leaving paying hotel guests with slim to no options to find parking to get to their hotel rooms. We strongly suggest to have the parking lot reserved exclusively for paying hotel guests. The only way to track this is to take down their vehicle plate #s and enforce this by monitoring who parks in the lot. This would make a more fair situation to your paying guests as the current system is unfair and unpleasant.
