Dirt and cobwebs on the floor in the room. Wasn’t a single space to park and the staff told us to double park behind someone. Very loud men talking right outside our door in the middle of the night for quite a while and papers were inserted through our door at late hours. Air conditioner kept turning off leaving room very warm. And not a single amenity. I’ve stayed at far better for far cheaper

Parking was tight as they park cars for the airport. Staff was beyond rude. A/C was broken. Room was dirty, we cancelled our stay of 4 nights after 1 night. Loud music outside our door until midnight. Very bad hotel. I can not believe Expedia offers this motel.

This place was a complete dive, peeling paint in rooms, doors so wide you can fit your hand through the cracks. No hot water in the shower or sink, the staff were surly and rude!!

The staff member at the front desk was nice, but that was about the only positive about this place. The room was gross. The bathroom sink was being held up by a 2x4, there were so many cigarette burn marks on the curtains and bedsheets. Oh and the cherry on top? A rat got into our backpacks and ate our snacks. Please do not stay here. We are scarred for life.

Front staff was lovely and I appreciated the combiner airport shuttle. The room was absolutely filthy. I mean dirty dirty. Hair and dirt on the floor, cracks I. The floor and walls and ceiling, the outlet switch in the bathroom had ground in dirt. There was a bug in the bed. The only thing that was clean was the sheets and towels which were in a viably dirty towel holder. The curtain rod was hanging down and I am pretty sure there was was blood splatter on the inside of the door.

U get what you pay for tbh. my experience was not as bad as some of these reviews, though I did find some hairs in my sheets. The room had a weird smell to it so I opened by balcony door to get some airflow going. the room itself is how youd imagine a motel at a movie, landlord special as they say. Id recommend spending an extra $30-40 and get a night at some of the nicer hotels.

We left before sleeping there. The door didn’t close all the way and cold air was coming in. We did not feel relaxed or comfortable so did not stay, even though we paid.
Expedia also said there was an airport shuttle which is why we chose it but it was not true. We took another hotels shuttle and had to walk on the highway to Motel 6.

This place is an absolute dump! Room was dirty, smelled like cigarette smoke, burn holes in bed linens, visually brown gunk inside air conditioner! Shuttle smelled like vomit. Both shuttle driver & check in person very heavy indian accent and didn't care whether you understood them or not!! Do not stay here ever! 2nd worse place we've ever been in. If we weren't so tired from traveling we would've left and gone someplace else.

The bathroom toilet chain was broke, so the toilet did not work. There was mold and mildew running down the wall from the ceiling to the floor. There were roof panels missing, and the ceiling insulation was falling in. We asked to swap to another room they gave us a hard time. Tried to jack up the price, but then accommodated us in the room which just the same as the other one.

My last motel 6 stay was at the LAX airport and it was perfectly good. This was a different experience on this frigid and icy Newark New Jersey day. I was given the key to a room with two doors to the outside: one facing the freeway, the other the parking lot, both with significant gaps that let the frigid air in. There was, of course heat, although it did not work at first. All the buttons were busted, or rather seem to have imploded and were impossible to push in. But the kind and helpful desk person came to the room and remedied that by jamming the temple tips of his glasses into one of the buttons/cavities and it turned on. Thereafter setting the temperature in the room to a balmy 85 degrees. Jamming and forcing are the way of the land, apparently, because the electrical plug was jammed about two inches into a large gaping hole in the wall. The towel rack fell in my hands immediately, so I jammed it back in. More worrisome was the shower stall floor. There was a large deposit of an unknown hard substance about ½ inch thick all around the drain, substance I later recognized as remains of human despair. The best part of the hotel is the 24-hour free airport shuttle which expedited me out of the situation at two in the morning as I realized that I would sleep better sitting upright in an airport seat than on that bed. If you are looking for an affordable location to shoot a horror or slasher movie, I would greatly recommend room 201.

This place was terrible ! No Cable No Hot water for shower! the room was needed a 100% makeover walls peeling Ceiling coming down it’s amazing how this place stays open! Room 107 was our room and very disappointing! the person at the counter was no help and his people skills doesn’t exist! The room was clean. An old place. Bath sink counter held up by a fairly new 2x4 but stable. Much cheaper than others. Don't expect 5 star accommodation for this price. Only negative was long term parking at $15 per day for my pickup. Go right next door at EWR for $10 per day not even 30 feet away. Staff was pleasant.

When I went there I checked in about 11 pm. There was no parking. I went back to the clerk. The clerk said I should double park. I told him I need someone to assist me to double park you said that he’s not leaving the front desk and if I don’t want to double park, he’s gonna refund my money. He was very rude and I told him I want a refund. He gave me a receipt stating that it was refunded now when I checked hotels.com I’m realising that I still owe a bill for that night which is the 14th of February so I asked you to make checks so that I can get my refund from Klarna that I used to make the purchase, please.

Yes staff only came to the room once and that is because my schizophrenic son was in the doorway they asked him did he want the floor mopped when he didn't answer right away they walked away. Never gave us fresh towels, but I do have to say that one of the housekeepers asked the front desk clerk to put me in an accessible room and he stated that they are booked up and that most of them rooms only have one bed. That's understandable Thank you but No thank you

Airport shuttle did not run... and an uber was $50 for a 6 min drive... i took a taxi and it was $36 from the airport...

Trying to check in would have been easy if the staff member was in site. Had to wait 30mins for the person to show up.

The standard hotel room would have been okay if not for the roaches in the washroom i seen upon entry.. they didnt even run and hide.just looked at me like why am i there.

Overall i did not enjoy my time there and could not sleep with the lights off in fear of the pest that were in the room.

My initial room reeked of a mix of mildew, Cuban cigars, and must. What’s more, the shower stall had a family of roaches convened around the floor drain. I took pictures and presented them to the front desk staff expeditiously. Immediately, the front desk personnel were apologetic, sympathetic to my plight, and responsive to my request for a room change. They obliged me and upgraded me room into a room on the 400-level, almost as if they had a standard procedure for these types of complaints. Nevertheless, the upgraded room was a noticeable improvement on the first room. No roaches, no smell, no noteworthy issues. Wish I could have gotten the upgraded room on the 400 level as my original room…this review would have been different. But nonetheless, here we are. Not a terrible motel, but unlikely to return. The staff is great, but the condition in some of the rooms needs work.
