Clean room, but, standard breakfast is $25. When you wake up in the morning, there’s zero complementary coffee, except for that weird filter packet thing you get in your room. Nothing down in the lobby for you to have or use, if you want to get a cup of coffee in the lobby, you must pay four dollars for a Starbucks standard cup of coffee or you need to go to the $25 breakfast. Seems weird considering that it’s such a nice brand and hotel, I’m not sure why they’re skipping on just offering coffee complementary to their customers. Otherwise feeling a little bit cheap on that end, everything is great.

Pool deck was filthy. Literal blood drops and clumps of hair all over it. I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool, but couldn't bring myself to take my shoes off! The room was fine, but the hotel has seen better days. Lots of missing and/or loose grout between the floor tiles in the bathroom. The lobby/bar/dining area (all under the atrium) was unbearably warm. Outside temp was 82% - inside felt even warmer. Ended up walking next door to the Holiday Inn for dinner (worst steak ever, but that's a different story). The parking fee ($25) eats up any savings you might have had in the cheaper rate here. Not sure if they had In-and-Out privileges, which is why I resorted to the Holiday Inn for dinner because it's the only place you can walk to from the Doubletree.

I stayed at this hotel for one night because it was close to the airport and I needed to be in NJ briefly. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.

The lobby is beautiful—clean, modern, and exactly what you see in the photos. That’s actually what led me to book the hotel. However, the rooms are a completely different story.

When we checked in, I specifically asked if there were more updated rooms, since I assumed the hotel might have renovated sections. The front desk staff member was very kind and helpful, but the first room we were given was in really poor condition—chipped paint everywhere, a bad smell in the bathroom, and visible mold in the vent. It felt neglected and far from clean.

We asked to switch rooms and were told the only options were the 10th floor or the 1st floor. Since the 10th floor looked just as worn down, we chose the 1st floor. The staff member did warn us it might be noisy due to the pool and said the pool closed at 8 PM, which seemed reasonable.

Unfortunately, the noise was not from the pool. There was constant yelling, screaming, and doors slamming throughout the night. It felt chaotic and made it very difficult to relax or sleep.

The second room was still in rough shape—more chipped paint, run-down finishes, and the towels were dry and rough. At times, the room even smelled like cigarette smoke, likely coming from a nearby room, which was really unpleasant.

The hotel is very close to the airport and their shuttle runs on the hour and 30 minutes past. You can even take the shuttle to the airport and then take the train into NYC, this for me works out best and you don’t pay the crazy prices for a small room in NYC. The only problem was the double beds were way too small if you have a couple with two children. I also found the beds uncomfortable and ended up with a backache. Apart from that, it was worth the pennies. Parking was reasonable breakfast could have been better but it was ok. I would return but perhaps I would get the king size. My family and I are tall so those beds were too small.

I don’t like that. The pool is closed at eight and it opens up at 10. I think it should be from 10 to 10.

Everything was good. We had a very spacious first-floor room with direct access to the pool—amazing for the kids. I gave 4 stars only because my daughter’s swimsuit changed color after about half an hour in the pool. I think there may have been too many chemicals, and she was very disappointed to see her favorite swimsuit end up in the trash. We informed the front desk about this situation for the next guests. Hope you changed the portion of the chemical you’re using for the pool. Thank you for our stay.

The room was anything but! There was food on the floor behind a trash can, the carpet felt like it had never been cleaned, the bathroom floor looked dirty with hair from upper and lower parts of the body. The shower floor was so dirty that we didn't even take a shower! This was one of the worst rooms we have ever stayed in!

Checking in was easy, but she wrong the wrong room number so we had to come all the way back down to get it fixed. Pool area had no clean towels. We called for some and it took 25 minutes. Room and bathroom were clean though. Nice views and pool.

The outside in the lobby of the hotel is really nice. Professional staff. Not enough parking if you’re going to be in town for an event and unless I missed it, I was not expecting to pay $30 to park overnight after paying $170 for a room. Rooms are not the cleanest and they’re outdated.

Our room was OK inside outside of the room is quite dirty, I can spot a few that I’m sure hasn’t been touched in a long time
I love the vending machine in the lobby with medications and a few other things, it’s very convenient

However, the biggest problem we both had was the staff. We got there around 3:30 and was told we cannot check in until 4 PM sharp, when 4 PM p.m. I got in line and was told again that nothing is ready so come back in line at 4:30 and people were already in line. It was so confusing whether should I leave the line and sit down or stay in line though so we left the line and sit down again. But, the line was extremely long and we finally got to the front desk. The staff and told me that my room is not available, we booked a king size room, and nothing is available and she refuse to help. We called her out on her and she said bye to us and brush us off to the manager. The manager was extremely professional and very nice guy, so he apologized for her. It was the most ridiculous experience we have ever had to a front desk staff. Her rudeness was unbearable and unacceptable.

It was different. Not in a bad way but very high tech. The way you just hit first the room number and it tell you what elevator to take. The only thing for me was there was a lout alarm that went off tell you not to take elevators but head to lobby. High sense of urgency no one saying what was going on until you stood there for a bit. Then when they came back on the intercom it was a soft spoken false alarm. Still didn’t know what it was about.

The staff overall came across as unprofessional, inattentive, and not customer-focused. At the restaurant, I waited over 20 minutes just to place an order and had to call a server myself—there was no acknowledgement of the delay or any basic courtesy. The service felt outright rude.

Additionally, the exit process was poorly managed and extremely frustrating. Upon checkout, I specifically asked the front desk if I could exit directly by car as I was running late and surrendering my Fob. I was told the gate will be opened. However, despite pressing the intercom multiple times (over 20 attempts), there was no response. I had no choice but to park, walk back to reception, and resolve the issue—wasting an additional 10–15 minutes during a critical time. Again, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused.
Overall, the staff behavior reflected a lack of accountability and customer care. The impression I was left with is that guest experience is not a priority here and they are definitely not the in the Customer retaintion business. Never staying here again.

The rooms are beautiful and parking was crazy especially during thanksgiving extremely tight. One manager approached me about keeping my son quiet because he was giggling at night time in a big spacious lobby very unprofessional. But kids are going to be kids. But the property is 5 Star!
