Quite a distance from Paris centre (half an hour or so on RER A) and about a ten minute walk from the station. The hotel is clean and modern. Staff are friendly and helpful. There’s the usual city tax to pay on arrival plus a €200 deposit that is refundable on checkout (we received our deposit back that evening after checking out around 10am). We stayed for 2 nights and the bed was made and clean towels brought for the second night/ day. There’s a safe in the room to lock valuables away. The only issue we had was no milk provided with the tea and coffee sachets so I didn’t have a hot drink in the morning when I woke up.

Housekeeping non existent. Bathroom not cleaned our entire stay ( 7 nights. ) they would just put a roll of toilet paper if finished and add towels, sometimes only hand towels and if you needed bath towels, you may as well ship them in. Had to phone 3 to 4 times for anything requested.

They don’t vacuum the rooms, take out trash, change bedding

Basically, the lady would just make up the bed in such a terrible way it looked like my kids did it.

Very disappointed, first time staying at a Novotel brand. Won’t return 😢

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and my two boys(9 and 6). It is in a perfect location if you’re planning to do sightseeing in the centre of Paris and go to Disneyland, which is only a few metro stops away. The hotel is a few minutes walk from a shopping centre where the metro is(RER A) and there’s also a carrefur(a supermarket) where we easily got what we needed for our days out. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and could all speak English, which helped a lot as despite our efforts, our French was very basic. As the hotel is in a commercial area, there weren’t options of restaurants at our doorstep so, for our convenience, for two nights we had dinner at the hotel. Food was good. We were all very happy with the soups in the starters section which gave us all some much needed vegetables, considering the amount of chips and bread that we had been eating. The mains were basic but expensive so we shared a few. The only downside was the size of the room. For a family of 4 we were given quite a small room, but didn’t bother us too much as we literally used it just to sleep. Beds were comfortable and room was always clean.

This hotel do not stay in, because we was English they didn’t care about what we was asking for, such as my sons birthday needed help didn’t help. And when we was leaving we asked for a taxi to gare de nord to catch a train they shrugged their shoulders and said they didn’t know then when we was suppose to be waiting 4 mins waited 15 mins then when we asked how long as we will miss our train he shrugged he’s shoulders again and didn’t care started to give attitude utterly unhelpful! 👎 and I was a lone parent with two small toddlers and luggage at 5am ! Rude !

Good breakfast and very nice staff.
Special thanks to the guy at breakfast (dont know his name but he was always wearing a trouser suspender belt), he always had a smile and was always helpful.
Only negative is that the air-conditioning only seems to work in the lobby and not the rooms, were its vital, we were sweating throughout the night on all 6 nights, so Disturbed sleep.

First of all
There is no AC in this hotel
One of the Elevator was not working. I stayed 3 nights and was not fixed.
When we entered the room , floor was wet and smelling really bad.
I asked to change the room and got the room next day only.
There is no exhaust/fan in bathroom. So imagine how difficult it is.

The are two Novotel hotel in same area. This one is not recommended at all. The hotel has unpleasant smell. Only one staff for reception. The room is very small and not clean. The bed is not comfortable as well. Different and strange people were stayed at the hotel as a result this hotel is not good for any stay especially family. Breakfast is below normal. Although there a chef for cooking egg only but no ingredients other than cheese.

Located far from Paris, close to dysney, rooms are good and calm, they just gave us one bottle of water and one sparkling despite we were 3 persons. There's usually lack of staff specially in Bar. Hotel was clean and well organized. room was very large and clean as well. My only complaint about the room was that there is no air conditioning in the room, only heat. It was actually built that way; for some unknown reason. the room was very uncomfortable at night. there was a large 4 ft square window that would open wide, but there was no way to circulate the air in the room. our room got the afternoon sun, so it was very warm in the evening. I complained to the front desk to see of they would turn down the heat on the floor but that went no where. it's probably a good room in the winter time.

Not the expected standard from a Novotel Hotel.

The location is very good in terms of transport. There were lots of families staying at hotel. The RER station is 7 min walk from the hotel and Paris and Disneyland is reachable via train. The breakfast was not really great but ok. The staffs was very friendly. They have a underground parking facility but struggling to park when the facility almost full. The housekeeping was not good. Seems to be they cleaned the room every day but the cleaning was not up to the mark. There is no air conditioning in the room and the room was very hot. However, they provided a fan for us which helps.

No consideration for health and safety with regards to window openings in bedrooms especially as there were lots of kids staying in the hotel.

Breakfast terrible, too much staff on and no one knew what they were doing

Common areas need to be thoroughly cleaned and dusted.

Pool needs to be revamped.

All outside areas front and back are not maintained and taken care of.

Bar prices are extremely enpensive.

If you want a fried egg you cook your own and more often than not the hot plates didn’t work so no eggs for breakfast. The oranges staked like grapefruit and the grapefruit takers lime oranges.

In the time we were there I never once found a clean cup or teapot at breakfast.

I had to ask them nearly everything morning to replenish an item at breakfast as they didn’t seem to do this unless asked.

I could keep going but I’d still be writing this next week with all I would have to say about this hotel, truly terrible and needs new management fast!!

A Nightmare in Novotel

We stayed in a Novotel hotel in Barcelona just few months back. It was an excellent place to stay. So this time when we were planning for holiday in summer in Paris our children were very keen to stay in a Novotel hotel. We booked it for four nights this time, but finally it turned into a nightmare.

There were bedbugs. Children's body were swollen because of the bites from this insect. We reported it to the staff but there was no concern. Swimming pool was closed till the evening so we could not use it. It was very hot and we requested for a fan from the first day and nobody came forward. We got a fan just few hours before we left.

The window on the room has no security and has only two positions: closed or totaly opened. The bathroom could (and should) be cleaner. Walk out of the hotel is difficult because the passage is through the garbage and frequently there are bus cars parked forcing the pedestrians to circulate them and use the car way. The breakfast is simple and the staff is not prepared to deal with a full coffee room. Definetly it does not deserve 4*.

So when I showed up, I was very worried because the hotel only had 1 room reserved for me, but I had already paid for 2 on Travelocity. Fortunately, I had cell service and was able to forward the email from Travelocity. The staff was very responsive and spent a lot of time getting us a second room. Although they were unable to get us adjacent rooms, they got us rooms as close as they could. The beds were typical European firm mattress. My wife was dissappointed they didn't have conditioner for her shower. We had picked the rate with breakfast included. It was great. In addition to the typical cheese, meats, breads, yogurt and croissants, they also had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, cereals and an area where you could boil or fry your own eggs. The wifi was overloaded the first evening to the point of uselessness, but was better the next day.

This is not the answer you expect after traveling 16 hours.

Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for...

We used this hotel as our "base" during a 4 day visit to Paris. We are a family of 4, including 2 children (aged 11 and 12).
The parking is very convenient, as it's located under the hotel. The hotel is on it own little island, so (other than the Ibis it's attached to) it's independent, and does not attract attention. Finding the hotel by car was easy.
However the surrounding area is anything from safe. Street lighting is a bare minimum. A few cars parked up on the side of the street had smashed in windows. Pedestrian access to the commercial centre and RER was 'dodgy' during anything but daylight hours. It really didn't feel safe.
The room was OK, but we had to contact reception a few times to get towels for all 4 of us, as they continued to think it was just myself and my wife.
The room safe didn't work, but we were able to use the hotel safe as an alternative.
The shower needed unblocking from day one.
We didn't get the impression the sheets on the extra beds were fresh on with our arrival.
The bottom sheet on the main bed was absent, and when requested we were given a sheet with a massive urine stain.
We stayed at the latter end of October, and thought that the outdoor pool would be in service... it wasn't, which was a let down for my girls.
Staff were friendly and accommodating though.
I like to run, but was advised that running too far from the hotel after dark was not safe... I didn't run while we stayed at the hotel. No Gym :(
