Lovely hotel, the spa was fantastic, great choice at breakfast and well located for the ferry terminal with a short walk into the old town.
Only downsides for us were room was not cleaned at all in 3 days and we had to ask for towels to be changed as room towels had to be used in the spa, also no tea making facilities in the room.

Amazing time in Tallinn @ Tallink Spa & Conference

The whole stay was amazing. When we arrived the lovely reception team informed us that we had been upgraded to a suite and that meant we also got ‘special breakfast’ included which was a lovely treat in the morning sipping champagne with some eggs made to order. We really appreciated this little touch from the team and made the trip really special. We never receive perks like this so we’re very thankful of it. I’m aware this won’t be everyone’s experience as it isn’t possible to upgrade everyone, so again thank you to Tallink Spa and Conference Centre staff for making our trip so special. Outside of that we also really enjoyed the pool with swim up bar and jacuzzi’s although we would have like the water to be a few degrees warmer. And also in the bedroom you could even get whatever pillow you like as it had a pillow menu to suit your needs. We were fine with the ones already in the room though. All in all, we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Just on the outskirts & within walking distance of the old, also next to the port for easy access to the ferryboat to Helsinki, this hotel is in a prime spot . The rooms are clean & very spacious, we had the grandkids with us so had a top floor suite , with its own sauna . The Aqu spa with its different pools & 4 saunas & steams rooms is worth adding to your booking ,the breakfast was very good , with Full English ,omelette s , & continental as a chioce .i would definitely stay here again, & i give this hotel 10/10

The stay itself was fine. My major issue is that when I tried to book a room in person they said they only had rooms at a certain price. Then I pointed out I saw rooms online for half that seconds earlier and they shrugged.

This is predatory business. Someone shouldn’t get extorted if their cellphone happens to die.

Place was lovely but rooms were very small even after an upgrade.
We were there for 3 nights and our towels weren’t replaced. We were told that there wouldn’t be house keeping but we didn’t expect not to get fresh towels for that amount of time.
This wasn’t a major problem though as the facilities were amazing!
The place was also very quiet and beds were comfortable.

Our bathroom was full of black mold. Hair dryer was very dirty. A lot of dirt and dust around the room. The pillows were falling apart.

The spa was full of running kids. So doors to saunas are constantly open. The spa itself smelled like chlorine but looked very dirty. Me and my 13 years old went there with excitement but left the spa in 30 mins max since it was too hectic, too dirty and I started to have allergic reaction from all of the chlorine.

I would give maximum of 2.5 stars to this place. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but left after first night.

Great hotel with a good spa

Very nice, modern hotel. Breakfast was not included in the price so we didn’t go. The room was very clean, amazing beds!!!! They were super comfortable, they even have a pillow menu and for 5€ per room you can choose from a wide variety of pillows, but the default one was very good too. There was a balcony to get some fresh air into the room.
Spa is 8-22 and free for hotel guests, good range of saunas and two large indoor pools. The staff was nice and helpful. The only thing is, it was not dirty per se but could’ve been better. There was a stain, likely from a spilled drink on Sunday evening in the spa. The next morning the stain was still there, so the floor likely wasn’t cleaned.
The hotel is about 1,2km from the old town center, depending on your view that might be a little far, but there is a tram stop very close

It's a beautiful hotel, clean and professional. The staff resolved every request we had. No smile tho, it's about the culture here I guess. The spa is a bit worn out, but this shouldn't put you down. It's gorgeous and very well designed. Many different types of sauna, hamam, Steam rooms. Beautiful pools where a bar is located in as well ;). The room we got was Premium one, but be aware it's on smaller side. Prefer the other options, if you want more comfort. Breaky was ok, a bit better than budget hotels like Travelodge, holiday inn...etc. And location wise, you will be closer to the port than the old town where all the attractions, bars restos are located. So be prepared for a little walk of 15 mins. Over all, if you are looking for a spa hotel, this is the one in Tallinn, highly recommended.

So sad to leave!

My partner and I have just left this hotel from a two week stay exploring the old town, and honestly we were really sad to leave!

Overall, the hotel is a wonderful gem. It is very close to the port so if you wanted to hop on a ferry and go over to Helsinki, then it’s perfectly located. It is also very close to the old town, only a 10 minute walk if that, so perfect if you are wanting to explore that area.

It’s quite modern and very clean. The spa and pool area were excellent and the poolside bar went down a treat!

Breakfast was plentiful and there was decent variety. We didn’t have lunch or an evening meal in the hotel so cannot comment on that.

The room was compact but clean, the decor was very abstract but very pleasant! There is a mini bar in the room but again, we did not use that.

My only criticism would be the towels, you get a robe and some slippers in your room to use in the spa, but the towels are very small, and I’m not a particularly large person but I couldn’t get the towel over my head after washing my hair! It would be better if they were larger and thicker as they are quite thin and flimsy.

We are thinking of coming back next year, and this would be our first choice of hotel for sure!

The room was perfect and very clean, the hotel is situated near a free car park because it was Sunday, and on Monday the couple of hours I needed were only 1,50 euros.
the swimming pool and the saunas were very nice too.

Spa hotel very near the port, easy access from the ferry: 5-10 minute walk. 15 min walk to the center of the old town. Easy 2 min walk to the #2 bus that goes straight to the airport.
Room: small but efficient and comfortable beds, clean linen. Good water pressure in the shower. Good WiFi.
Breakfast: reasonable choices, has a cafeteria vibe with a crowded atmosphere.
Nice lobby bar.
Main attraction is the enormous spa in the center of the hotel. Lukewarm swimming pools with various spraying water features and warm (not hot) tubs. Several saunas: steam, salt, Finnish, hamam: all shared both sexes allowed. The women’s shower area includes a private women-only Finnish sauna.

Disappointing stay. Room not up to 4 star quality.

This is a 4 star hotel and unfortunately the room we were given was 3 star quality at most. Tired, worn out and in need of refurbishment. The room had several other issues, all reported to the hotel next day with no response from them. On a positive the breakfast was excellent. Staff in the breakfast area were wonderful. Didn’t use the spa facilities as they were overcrowded and noisy. There was a children’s football tournament in Tallinn on this weekend and a lot of teams were staying here. The outdoor pool was very noisy and our room was directly above the pool. Thankfully the hotel is very strict on closing the spa area at 10pm. Location was pretty good. Short walk to the ferry terminal and about 15 minutes to the old town.

It is excellent hotel! it is very convenient to walk to the downtown for the city tours. It is also right on the harbor, we need to take an earlier ship to the next stop we can easily walk to the ship for check-in. The hotel staff prepared breakfast box for us. It also has SPA access!

Well, all was good at the check in. We booked a renovated room. On the surface things looked fine, but in the closer look it looks cheap, like the toilet splash thing was wobbly (took a picture). But the main thing - the toilet was blocked. Because of the late check-in and immediate run to the pool didn’t realised until we came back from the spa. We also wanted to have a dinner at the hotel’s restaurant (open until 11pm) because it was a bit late (9:30pm) to go to the city and this was the only option. But they said it was closed to the hotel’s guests. Then we asked to fixed the toilet, but we were told there is no one there (no maintainer on stand by in such a big spa hotel?!). And guess what? We were told that it was not possible to move us to another room because the hotel is fully booked, so we had to have to stay in the room until the next day without functioning toilet. The good news, it was fixed in the morning, 2 hours before our checkout. We asked to check out an hour later (it’s complimentary, but subject to availability), but guess what, we cannot because the room is already booked. I stayed here for few times in the last 12-14 years when visiting Tallinn, but now I’m not sure. All the rules of customer service were broken with no care about the guests and no rectification of any discomfort. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed with the hotel. I’d like someone from reservation or administration to contact me with an offer or a refund, full or partial.

Price too high for Eastern European hotel. The room needs refurbishment rather soon: both the living area and the shower. The towels and robes were rather old. There was no cleaning during the day, despite DND was not displayed. Also it was too cold in the room and AC didn't help. SPA saves the day in the end, but it's the only benefit.

It’s walkable distance to ferry port. Otherwise, shower is terrible - it’s just shower head very high up, you cannot adjust the water before it hits you. So you turn the water on and literally stand under cold water until it turns warm. Very difficult to wash your intimates.
No shampoo, conditioner, nothing.
No USB chargers - you have yo have european adapter.
Breakfast is at 7, but if your ferry is at 7, you won’t be able to get breakfast.
Overall too expensive for this level of hotel

The SPA was nice, although that was not my purpose of booking the hotel. Staff was generally friendly. Thanks to the front desk in helping me planned the trip to Helsinki. The hotel is very close to the ferry terminals to Helsinki. Constructions everywhere. The taxi driver even refused to drop me in front of the hotel, and I had to walk across with my bags. Not many dining options in the area, but the hotel has a restaurant with good breakfast (included). Note that the hotel doesn't provide shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Thanks to a review I read and I brought my own. Another negative comment. I received a wakeup call early in the morning on my last day, when I tried to sleep in a little. I didn't ask for another wakeup call. The front desk said someone asked her to call me. Hmm....

Sadly the hotel do not provide any toiletries except soap. Cleaning service is alternate days. This may pose an issue as the spa does not provide towels so you need to use the room towels. Location and room size is good. Pool and spa can be pretty busy on Saturday night with couples and children.

The rooms are nice. But the hotel is extremely crowded because it's right next to the ferry terminal from Helsinki. Also there is NO ROOM SERVICE, yet the Expedia site says room service is available, it is not! There is also no gym, and the restaurant only has food at very limited hours. I often found myself taking a taxi to a restaurant because the hotel restaurant was closed.

The only good thing about this hotel was the pool, which was excellent. The service, though, was dreadful. For a start, we booked a room with two beds and a balcony close to lift/reception as I am disabled. On arrival, we were given a room with one bed and no balcony. When they eventually managed to switch us to a room with two beds, it had no balcony and was a long walk including stairs.
I am an early riser, and was often up at 5am. Apparently, though, it is impossible to get coffee in this supposed 4* hotel between 11pm and 8am when breakfast opens. There are no coffee-making facilites in the room either.
Whilst the hotel advertised 'designated smoking areas' this turned out to be outside the front door and virtually on a building site. Outside smoking areas are fine in barbados, but not in Estonia, where it is extremely cold for at least half the year. We were here in October, and sitting outside was very cold. In January it would be impossible.
All in all, I could not recommend anyone to stay in this dump.

Kaikki sujui hyvin palvelun osalta. Huone oli tilava ja sänky erittäin hyvä. Suihkussa ei ollut lainkaan käsisuihkua, vaan ainoastaan yläsuihku, mikä vaati tiettyä akrobatiaa, että sai suihkun päälle ja pystyi välttämään alun jääkylmän suihkuelämyksen.

Minulla oli hieman vaikeuksia nukkua, koska kadulta kuului selvästi autojen ääniä ja patja oli melko kova.
Lisäksi kylpylän lattiat altaiden ja saunojen välissä sekä pukutiloissa olivat todella liukkaat, mikä tuntui vaaralliselta.
Uima-altaan vesi voisi myös olla lämpimämpää, sillä kylpylään tullaan rentoutumaan eikä tuntemaan oloaan epämukavaksi kylmän veden takia.

Muuten todella hyvä hotelli, henkilökunta ystävällistä jne mutta aamiainen on huono. Todella vähän vaihtoehtoja, aamiaisen järjestys on huono ja täten aamiainen on ruuhkainen ja kaikki tunkee.

Jag har sedan tidiga 2000-talet spenderat flera nätter i Tallinks spa hotell. Första gångerna jag var där så har jag varit relativt nöjd och rekommenderat hotellet. Dock med tiden märks det att hotellet aldrig riktigt stänger ner och genomgår underhåll.

Hotellet är trevligt och jag är nöjd med vistelsen. Men spa delen som är bra; behöver underhållas, rengöras och moderniseras. Då det inte längre är det bästa belägna 4-stjärniga spaet I Tallinn det en gång var.

Frukosten verkar blivit sämre, från att baconet inte kändes bra stekt till det väldigt begränsade utbudet för att höra basala mackor. Vi bokade frukost med boende, så det var billigare. Frukosten var långt ifrån 4-stjärnor och den var 200% för dyr speciellt för de som inte bor på hotellet. Utmärkt service och trevlig personal dock.

Bra pizza och smidigt med poolbar, dock hade man önskat mer utbud gällande drycker.

Slutord:
Hotellet är ok, dock har de halkat efter allt annat i Tallinn som rör sig framåt. Om du ska vara vid hamnen så är hotellet ett alternativ, men om du ska utforska Tallinn, tycker om hotellfrukost eller vill njut av ett spa; så kan jag inte rekommendera hotellet.
