The SPA in nearby hotel was good, although a bit crowded at the afternoon. Breakfast is decent. Room is small, but clean. Perhaps noise isolation could be better. The price was high although comparable with nearby hotels.

I never been on a such unclean room and really have stayed a lot in hotels. No electric kettle in a room. Also, weird smell around a building and the room. But they did have a complimentary earplugs in a room — that tells a lot!

Hotel was basic and clean enough, well located for the ferry port and a short walk into the old city.

Rooms are a little tired and getting hot water in the shower involved a bit of luck but for the cost of the stay it was all reasonable enough.

There isn't much in the local area for food other than a couple of restaurants associated to the hotel. Nearest supermarket is about 5-10 minutes walk away.

Breakfast buffet was 17 euros but could be booked in advance for 14 euros, I didn't partake as the cost felt a bit high for what it was.

It's a kind of basic budget hotel conveniently located between the harbour and the old town, there's a bus from the stop Linnahall (200 meters from the property) connecting you directly from/to the railway station and the airport. Breakfast was more than satisfactory and the quality of the food was good. Staff is English speaking and very helpful, even if they encourage you to make the check-in and check-out via Internet (I did the check-in online, it was quick and easy). Laundry service was excellent: if you give your clothes in the morning before 8, you'll find them cleaned and ironed in your room the same evening. A small minus point for the cleaning service: it's done every 2 days - no problem for me - but the cleaning is very superficial, they basically change towels and bed sheets plus a quick wipe of the bathroom.

It was just what we needed. Check-in and check-out were easy, staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean and everything worked. Good water pressure in the shower, old-town easily reached by foot (10mins). The spa was too expensive for us, but all in all it was exactly what we wanted in a hotel.

I stayed here overnight and took a ferry to Helsinki early the next morning. The hotel is only c. 5 minutes from the terminal and ideally located. The room and hotel overall were very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

I posted my rating on google : I recently stayed at the Tallinn Express Hotel (like most people I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels… this one is at the bottom), and while the service was acceptable, my experience was far from ideal. Despite booking a double twin room, I was given a room with two single beds. This was a significant inconvenience and a deviation from what was promised.

The noise level in the hotel was intolerable. The lobby was filled with loud music playing well past 1 AM. This, coupled with the paper-thin walls, made it impossible to escape the cacophony. The sound of neighboring TVs, loud conversations, and particularly the sound of children running and screaming through the halls early in the morning, severely disrupted my stay.

For anyone who values a good night’s sleep, I cannot recommend this hotel. The combination of incorrect room allocation and excessive noise makes it unsuitable for restful stay.

Budget hotel but clean and good location.

This is what it says on the tin it’s a budget hotel - if that’s what you expect then you won’t be disappointed. The room was clean but dated. The bed was comfy - small pillows but if you ask reception they will give you another. Shower Water pressure was good. Communal areas were really nice and updated. And the tv in our room had some English channels - nice way to wind down after 22k steps. 5 min walk to the ferry terminal for Helsinki. We paid €140 for 3 nights. My only flaw on this hotel was on the Saturday night most of the rooms on our Floor had 13 year olds staying in them, there wasn’t an adult in sight and from 9 - 11 pm they were running up and down the corridors banging on their friends doors and then slamming doors, the walls were thin so they shook everytime a door was slammed. We did ask them to stop several times and called reception however apparently the rules are they can make as much noise as they like until 11pm. Another thing to note is that there is no kettle in the room - hand wash and body wash in the bathroom. Also bolt eats deliver to the hotel.

Easy to check in using the on line check in. The employees are polite and helpful. The only negatives are that while room itself was clean, the carpets are stained and it gives the impression that it’s dirty. The other issue is there’s no air conditioning and in summer… it’s very uncomfortable, even though you can open the windows.
The location is perfectly situated to the old town as well as the ferry terminals.
Good spot for budget travelers.

The hotel is very good, has an excellent location. The reception staff is fantastic. The SPA is great, the kids loved it.

But there are two points that deserve attention on the part of the management:
1. My room keys broke EVERY day. Every time I got to the room I had to go back to reception to reactivate them.
2. Breakfast time was until 10 am, I arrived for breakfast at 9:40 am with children (who eat slowly). At 9:55 the employees simply started to collect things without even asking if we wanted anything else

Good deal for comfortable no-frills

The hotel is no frills, but we were very happy with our stay. The beds are very comfortable, and the room hade everything we needed. The breakfast was too expensive, so we walked over to the Rimi hyper on the waterfront and got fresh baked goods instead. Hotel parking was expensive, so we parked in a lot about 100 meters down the road for 6 Euros/24 hours. We used the pool/spa one afternoon (8 Euros for adults and 4 Euros for kids for 3 hours for Express guests). This was much cheaper than staying at that hotel. We extended our stay because we were pleased with the hotel.

Not enough beds, no air con, poor service

I had to line up for 50 minutes to check-in. I tried to do it online but when I went to collect my keys from the self-service terminal it didn't give me any keys.
So after 50 minutes, I checked in for 3 adults, and then I got to my room to discover there were only 2 single beds. I tried to call reception but they did not answer the phone so I had to go back downstairs and line up for another 30 minutes. I was promised a 3rd bed would be put in my room. I had a shower (Shower was nice and powerful) and went out returning later at night to discover no 3rd bed. The front desk was empty so I was forced to sleep on the floor with no bedding or pillow. I had to line up again on the second day to ensure I had a third bed delivered for my second night. Terrible service and I feel I should not have paid the full amount for night 1 as I was forced to sleep on the floor.

My other problem was there was no air conditioning so it was uncomfortably hot in the room making it very difficult to sleep (even when I had a bed).

Slow inefficient check in. No AC control in room, central AC useless! Hot uncomfortable room. Opening window didn't help as no significant air circulation. Carpet and bathroom floor dirty. Toilet seat loose. Deadbolt on door would not engage. Thin walls, noise from adjacent room. On the plus side towels and sheets were clean and plenty of hot water for shower. Would not stay at this hotel again.

El hotel está bien ubicado, tienes la opción de pagar por el spa que está súper bien. El staff es maravilloso, en especial un gran agradecimiento a Mariana en el buffet del desayuno, súper amable! La limpieza le doy un 6/10. Había basura debajo de la cama y el inodoro estaba sucio. Del resto todo muy bien, temperatura perfecta en las habitaciones, silencioso, cama cómoda y ducha con una buena presión. Si algún día vuelvo a Estonia seguro que volvería, por la amabilidad del staff en general y el spa que está genial y mis hijos la pasaron súper bien.

Very easy check-in and also was checked in early (Very useful).

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

Although it was the \"express\" part of the hotel, still being able to use the spa facilities was great and only paying 8€ a time was a bargain.

There's nowhere to get any lengths in, but you can relax in the multiple jacuzzi's and shallow pools while taking a drink from the poolside bar.

There are also a number of different steam rooms and sauna's as well, so its certainly 8€ well spent.

The hotel is in prime location for getting to Kalamaja, the port, the old town and down town Tallinn, by foot, (All reachable within a maximum 15 minute walk), but if you want public transport, the nearest tram stop is only a 3-5 minute walk away.

My family and I almost felt the staffs were racist that they were not helpful at all. Even when we requested for the luggage storage the staff’s attitude was very rude and said no space is available for us. In fact, there was a space so they only allowed us to store one luggage. Not friendly at all, the worst hotel I could ask for.

Breakfast is very good and incudes alot of choices. The service at the reception is slow and unfriendly - they did not find my reservation. Only after a manager showed up after a while discussing the issue, my reservation was found finally.
The room lookes nice but my baby boy and I were bitten by bedbugs in the night. After telling the reception there was no sorry or so, even told me that I am wrong.

Olimme varanneet huoneen Tallink Express hotellista mutta hotelliin saavuttaessa koko aula oli pimeänä eikä ristin sielua missään. Menimme sisäänkirjautumaan viereiseen Tallink Conference -hotelliin ja saimme huonekortit. Menimme takaisin Expressin puolelle vain löytääksemme huoneemme ja itse asiassa kaikki muutkin huoneet täysin remonttikunnossa ja myllättynä eli hotellissa oli selkeästi remontti meneillään. Tästä ihmettyneenä palasimme paremman Conference -hotellin puolelle ja kirjauduimme huonenumeroamme vastaavaan huoneeseen, johon pääsimme. Loppu hyvin kaikki hyvin saimme siis kalliimman huoneen halvemman hinnalla. Ainut että tätä ei oltu mitenkään kommunikoitu, joten sisäänkirjauksen yhteydessä oli vähän ihmettelyä. Muuten hotelli oli hyvä, spa-osasto monipuolinen ja aamupala hyvä.

Hotelli loistavalla paikalla mutta ilmastoinnin puuttuminen kesäaikana varsinkin on erittäin iso miinus.
Tilava huone, jossa pieni tv ja nuhjuinen kokolattiamatto.
Sänky kuitenkin hyvä ja huone siivottu hyvin.
Aamiainen hyvä suhteessa huoneen hintatasoon .
En menisi toista kertaa kesällä mutta voisin hyvinkin mennä uudestaan viileämpänä ajankohtana.

Hotellin sijainti oli kätevä ja siitä oli helppo liikkua eri suuntiin. Huoneessa oli siivottu todella huonosti suihkun ja hanojen ollessa törkyiset. Myös lattialta löytyi edellisten vieraiden ruokia. Vedenpaine huoneessa oli aivan todella surkea. Aamiainen muistutti lähinnä pienen huoltoaseman aamupalaa.

Hotellista on tullut vakiopaikka Tallinnassa yöpyessä. Sijainti on erinomainen, kun lasten kanssa pääsee lähestulkoon laivasta astuessa hotelliin. Ratikalla pääsee hyvin kaikkialle. Linnahall on lähin pysäkki. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä. Nuorempi sukupolvi ei enää osaa suomea yhtä usein kuin vanhempi, mutta englanti sujuu hyvin. Viereiseen kylpylähotelliin pääsee pienestä lisämaksusta ja mukavasti sisäkautta kävellen. Arkena on ollut tosi rauhallista. Aamupala on hyvä, klassinen buffet ja siellä on aika paljon tungosta viikonloppuna. Miinukset tulevat ainoastaan hotellihuoneesta, joka oli omaan makuuni liian kuuma. Kylpyhuoneen lattialla oli aivan turhaan lattialista suihkun ympärillä, minkä vuoksi vesi jäi seisomaan lattialle.

Péssimo Atendimento

Péssimo atendimento. Atendente mal humorada, nem nos cumprimentou direito. Parecia não estar com a minima vontade de nos atender. Nos deram um quarto adaptado para necessidades especiais e tivemos que trocar. No dia seguinte (tínhamos 3 noites no hotel), quando retornamos de um passeio a Helsinque, fomos informados que nossa estadia estava encerrada (como se fosse por uma noite somente). Tive que ficar na recepção por quase 1 hora, até que eles entenderam o erro que tinham cometido. O quarto não havia sido limpo e tive que descer e pedir toalhas limpas. Foi quando me encaminharam a recepção do SPA, tive que explicar novamente toda a contusão, falar com gerente... enfim, parecia sempre que estavam me fazendo um favor. Outros hóspedes ficavam me olhando. Muita humilhação. Não recomendo o hotel.

Ótima localização, ao lado do terminal de balsas, da cidade velha, fácil acesso ao aeroporto com transporte público, perto de mercado, shopping e restaurantes.
Excelente processo de check in e out, café da manhã completo, funcionários simpáticos.
Quarto e banheiro de bom tamanho, confortável, temperatura ambiente agradável.
Falta um frigobar.

Buena y economica opción.

Me gustó nos ayudarán en darnos la habitacion una hora antes sin costo extra (2pm), solo me queda la duda para algunas reservaciones en opiniones indicaban incluían desayuno y en mi caso desconzco porqué no lo incluyeron.

Parkkis ja spårat melko anaalista

Pysäköinti talon takana puomilla johon soittaa kysytään mitä halutaan puomi ei meinaa aueta parkkipaikalta kiertämällä talon pääsee respaan spårat pitää meteliä ei tarvii nukkua muuten kyllä ihan hyvä

Dårlig rengøring

Rengøring på hotellet var mangelfuld. Højstolen til børn var fyldt med gamle indtørret madrester og så er der gulvtæpper på næsten hele hotellet, hvilket ikke er særlig hygiejnisk. Virkelig lydt, vi kunne høre alt fra de omkringliggende værelser og lastbiler der kørte frem og tilbage mod havnen hele aftenen/natten.
