The hotel has 4 floors and no elevator. It is in a good spot but next to park with homeless. It was very clean. It was truly a 2.5 star but clean...as a single adult looking for cheap and 1 night it was great. Families should stay away.

A good, basic place to stay that met all our requirements for one night. Location is great, felt very safe and staff was really pleasant and helpful. Nothing fancy, but it worked well for my husband and me. Also, for 10 euros the breakfast definitely worth it.

Very basic hotel, paper cups and plastic sticks that melt when used to stir hot drinks ! Very noisy area, not much sleeping done, but is a convenient location for resturants, shops, cathedral etc.
Would not return to this hotel but have to congratulate staff for being helpful and freindly.

Central Rouen OK Place to stay. Frendly and helpful staff. Ordinary rom, but good enough if you just need a Place to stay for quiet stepping and a bathroom. My rom had AS a bonus, a Nice vieuw to the Cathedral. Low price.

Nice budget hotel close to city centre. Clean. Satisfactory shower facilities.
Easy walking distance to town. One block from the spectacular cathedral.
No parking except what is on the street but it's free overnight from 7pm to 9am.

Do not stay here

We have stayed in a lot of Hotels in many countries but this was our worst ever experience. We booked a room with a refrigerator as this was a requirement of our booking and when we got to our room, no fridge, the noise from the roadworks was very bad ( no fault of the hotel) so I asked for a quiter room with a fridge, I was told that the rooms didnt have fridges and there were no better rooms even though we were at the end near the roadworks. I was later informed by another staff member at checkout that this person had lied to us and some rooms did have fridges.
In addition to this, when I checked my credit card statement 2 days later, I discovered that they had illegally deducted another $297 from my credit card. It has taken a week to get this money back and there excuse was that they had charged someone elses room to my card, there explanation for how this happened was not feasable and their reaction to our complaint has been disgusting. We have now been charged 2 foreign transaction conversion fees for these transactions which we will have to pay. The hotel has offered to refund these if we give them our bank account details which we would never trust them with. If you do stay here, make sure you check your bank statements after leaving because if I had not done that, we would be $297 out of pocket.

We were very kindly welcomed and the receptionist was helpful with storing our bike and with parking.
However there was a dog in the next room and someone was smoking in another room by ours neither of which were great. But the hotel itself was fine.

Very much a budget hotel.

Ideal for students but anyone over 25 forget it. I was on the top floor & at 53 I struggled with all of the stairs. Didn't get a wink of sleep as other residents were very noisy well into the night & didn't give a toss about anyone else. Paper thin walls meant I heard every time they went to the toilet or showered. (Made my pipework rattle) . slamming doors also a pain. No noise from outside all from inside. True you get what you pay for !

Hotel staff very nice and helpful, spoke a bit of English. Room with a Cathedral view but extremely small. It was a budget hotel so we knew it was not going to be perfect. We enjoyed Rouen, it's a lovely city. WIFI at the hotel was FREE N FAST.

Hotel was in a convenient location and service was terrific. The only drawback was that my large room was facing the street on a Friday night and the windows were not enough to keep out the noise from party-goers in the park across the street. With earplugs, it was fine, though.

It's a 2 star hotel. Central, helpful staff, small yet comfortable room. No lift and tiny shower room but really, what do you expect for the price? It's smack in the centre of town. Although no parking at hotel, car park next door and free parking on street til 9 am. Clean & tidy. Free wi-fi!

Complicatedt to find by car although once found parking in local car park was good Room was on 4th floor with no lift so being fit is a definite requirement. Being in our 60's we found going up to room with case very difficult. Was quite noisy until the early hours but this was expected in a central location. Girl on desk very friendly, room small but clean. Did not take breakfast as many small bars and cafe's nearby for a coffee and croissant.

I was disappointed that I was promised breakfast with our reservation and then charged 12 euros each . This hotel needs a lift, an elevator to the 4th floor. The desk staff speak English and are moderately helpful. They directed us to the old market for restaurants. Great fish restaurant across square. Good shopping & access to river & major sites. Take a taxi from train station _ it 's inexpensive and a lot easier than the metro or tram.
Rouen is an excellent siteseeing city. The cathedral & art museum are magnificent.

Rooms on third floor; had to carry luggage up and down, no lifts. Room was small, especially the shower, but comfortable and clean. Nice bedding. Neighborhood so quiet we were able to open our window and listen to the rain during the night. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Rouen. Overall, nice place.

Usual Terrible French Service, but great location!

The first day the receptionist was very rude and I almost changed hotel just because of his unfriendly welcome. He acted like he didn't know any English seeing that I speak terrible French. Somehow, by the last day the same receptionist suddenly became very friendly and and miraculously remembered his English, He even didn't charge us for breakfast. He must have overheard me tell my cousin that I was going to give the hotel a terrible review! The hotel does not deserve to be part of an American \"Comfort Inn\" Chain! But the price is OK and the location is great! Because of that I do recommend this hotel, just don't expect good service and use it only to sleep.

The hotel was clean but make sure you're able to walk up stairs. There is no elevator & 4 floors also you need to be incredibly skinny for some of the bathrooms. We had a stand alone shower that you had to squeeze in & could not bend over in...so don't drop the soap!!!

Omfanget af morgenmad til €10 pr. person, er nok det bedste ved hotellet. Ligger mellem Seinen og Notre Dame med en del nattestøj fra “gadens beboere”. Hotellet er MEGET slidt og trænger til en gevaldig renovering. Ingen A/C på værelset - det var alt for varmt og indelukket. Vil IKKE anbefale.

Don’t stay for more than one night ! Our room was cramped and could do with a proper cleaning. My wife complained there was a smell of urine.
My advise , spend a few extra euros and go to the nearby IBIS if you’re on a budget.

La chambre était plus grande que celle réservée, une bonne surprise à l'arrivée, avec une vue directe sur la cathédrale.
L'hôtel est à 5mn à pieds de la Cathédrale et 3mn à pieds d'un arrêt du tram (ou plutôt des lignes principales et protégées pour les bus)
Le voyage étant en Mars, la chambre était plutôt fraîche et humide, surtout la salle de bains qui semblait avoir été repeinte récemment. Quelques moisissures étaient revenues dans la douche, dès que je l'ai signalé, le nettoyage a été fait. On sent que les salariés de l'hôtel font très attention à la propreté des chambres et sont à l'écoute des demandes des clients.

Parkplätze leider nicht vor dem Haus wie auf einem Foto ersichtlich, doch teure Tiefgarage ganz in der Nähe. 😱

Sehr hellhörige Zimmer! Nachts laute Leute auf dem Flur und neben gehabt. Das war Pech 😱🤷‍♂️

I love the view of the cathedral and listening the sound of bells when I opened my window. Room was Tony but sufficient for me. Bed was comfy and shower worked. There were no racks for towels though. And no air-con. Floor could be wiped better. I could hear neighbours, but they went To bed quite early. Receorionists were friendly

Rouen au printemps

Rouen est une très jolie ville, le soleil lui à offert une luminosité méritée. L'hôtel juste à côté de la cathédrale est agréable, propre et tellement bien situé. Il y a à Rouen un nombre impressionnant de restaurants, de terrasses, de quoi passer avec ses amis des moments délicieux.

Chambre petite mais convenable pour une personne, c'est bien quand on y vient jusque pour dormir pas pour des touristes qui veulent rester un peu dans la chambre. Les petits déjeuner sont servi trop tardivement pour les travailleurs et trop cher en plus je suis que stagiaire et non rémunéré, gros problème de stationnement y compris le dimanche même pour un dépôt minute
