Ceiling fan did not work and had never been cleaned, bed linen had not been changed or room cleaned, hair, sweat patches and dirt in all of the beds and clumps of hair stuck to bottom of bed cover. Receptionist was as helpful as she could be but could not offer another room. Hotel manager was called to clean room but was not on site and, given the levels of dirt, we would have had to vacate the room after having already unpacked.

DO NOT STAY HERE - the hotel is within Rouen crit air zone and so you need to have registered your car with French authorities, successfully purchased and delivered a personalised sticker in order to get to the hotel without incurring a fine. This information is nowhere and meant that we did not release this until we put the address into google maps and an alert popped up! We ended up having to book and pay for another hotel, and the hotel refused any refund

Disappointing

Disappointing have been using as a stopover for over 10 years. It appears to be under new management, on arrival the person at the desk was on a computer but made no attempt to acknowledge us until she had finished what she was doing. The quality of the food in the restaurant has dropped and the prices increased for both dinner and breakfast. The main light in the room was faulty and the shower drain was smelly.

Superb quiet hotel with great staff and parking

Stayed here for 2 nights as an emergency place to stay as I had mechanical problems on my bike. The staff were absolutely superb. The receptionist was delightful and very helpful making recommendations on where to visit and how to travel on the excellent, cheap and frequent bus service into town. Car park was very large and felt secure too. There is a big retail park next door which was very handy too. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows and bedding superb. A good hot shower and large towels were very much appreciated. Rouen is a spectacular town and 2 days was really insufficient to appreciate everything it has to offer. Would I stay here again ? Most definitely YES !

A basic hotel. The bedroom has quite an old feel in parts, but clean and nicely decorated. The communal areas were fresh and more modern and the restaurant served very good food. All of the staff were helpful.

Over all very nice and value for money

Check in was great, and all the staff very friendly. We had a very nice meal (my wife’s veggie dish was amazing) , and the breakfast was pretty good too. Do try squeezing you own oranges. The place is a little dated in places but they are in the middle of renovations, which did not affect us in any way. Could do with some usb charging points. We asked for some more pillows, which they took from an unoccupied room and they smelt a little musky. They were very comfortable though, as was the bed. We found the location was good, quiet and easy to find. Over all good, and good value for money. I shall stay here again on our next trip.

Pleasant value for money stay

Convenient overnight stop when travelling south.

We frequently stay here en route to our destination. The hotel is clean and comfortable, has a large bed, free wifi and ample parking. Both rooms and bathrooms are a good size. The Restaurant is shut at the weekend, but we have eaten there when travelling mid week and the food has been good. It's conveniently close to a large Hyper Market and shopping complex. The area is quiet and we will continue to use this hotel.

Great hotel in a quiet area.

We have previously stayed here and will continue to do so. The rooms are comfortable, clean, have a large bed and good sized bathroom. Parking is free and wifi is good. The hotel is in a quiet area and there is a shopping mall, with a large Carrefour next to it. We have never stayed here at a weekend previously and were slightly disappointed that the restaurant is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Fortunately, a nearby hotel had a restaurant that was open. We will stay here again, but probably on a week night as the food was good and even had a Vegetarian menu which is rare in France.

Not quite it's usual standard

Somewhat average there was an electric socket out of the wall and a bulb out in the bedroom, which was otherwise clean a d comfortable. Dinner was not great possibly because most of the food is not prepared from scratch on the premises according to the menu. Breakfast a typical standard French buffet with a new addition of bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs, did not try the latter.

A convenient stopping point en route down South. Comfortable bedroom, with a large bed and good shower room. We were in a connecting room, and although our \"neighbours\" were quiet, we could hear their conversation....best avoided next time!
The restaurant was busy and the food was good. There was a separate Vegetarian Menu which is unusual in France. Plenty of parking, free wifi and right next to a large Hypermarket, Petrol Station etc. We will stay there again but will ensure it's not a connecting room!

We booked through expedia but the date had to be changed last minute and we informed reception direct by phone as soon as we realised. We were told the price would not be that of expedia but would be their normal rate for the one night excl. breakfast. The room allotted to us appeared to be the one seen and booked through expedia at a good price. It turned out to be a small attic bedroom with skylight situated on the 5th floor, five flights of stairs and no lift available. The absence of a lift was not mentioned on hotel information and at our age we would have thought twice with prior knowledge. We spoke with the Manager the next morning who was adamant the small room and bed at the top of the hotel was of their standard. We disagreed. We hope that Expedia will refund the money we paid to them as we have now paid twice. Once to the hotel and a debit on our bank statement to Expedia.

This was just a stopover night, the hotel was quite busy with business travellers and the restaurant was full the staff coped well keeping all tables moving. The rooms are standard but clean, quiet and comfortable with reliable free wifi.

Not the best Kyriad Hotel

Hotel was not easy to find and our \"welcome\" was anything but warm. The lady on reception was officious and made no attempt to \"engage\" with us. The room was basic, but clean and the beds were comfortable.

We booked a table for our evening meal as we have eaten at numerous Kyriad hotels in the past and the food has always been good. I can now say that after holidaying in France for over 20 years, our evening meal was the worst we have ever been served. The fish and chips my wife had were served in a cardboard box and the fish had obviously been frozen and appeared to be reconstituted. I had a veal dish that was bland and overcooked. We both opted for the desert buffet, which seemed to mainly consist of items such as Smarties. The standard of the food was poor and it was also expensive.

I must say on the positive side that our waitress, Justine, was delightful.

We stayed at the Kyriad on our way back up from the Dordogne as it was a convenient distance from Calais for an overnight stay. We also looked at previous reviews and should have taken more notice of some of the warnings.

The staff at this hotel should go and visit their colleagues in Chambray les Tours, where we stayed on our way down. This is a fantastic budget hotel that we would recommend to anyone.

Bottom line here is that I wouldn't use this hotel again and would warn others to do so at their peril.

Inexpensive hotel chosen for a quick overnight stay. Pleasantly surprised at the size and cleanliness of the room. Hotel in lovely area and was not worried about leaving loaded car. Eat in the restaurant for convenious. Reasonably price and enjoyable. Breakfast was usual continental type but well presented and had plenty to eat. Will stay again on our way to Bordeaux.

Nice hotel, welcoming staff, who were very helpful in directing us after GoogleMaps brought us to the wrong location (500 metres adrift, but it might as well have been anywhere). It was a very nice experience with all the facilities we wanted, and a good evening meal. A big shopping centre with fuel station was convenient without being overbearing.

Why have we not called here before

Hotel was quiet maybe the reason the price was so good. Dance seems to have left the north for the south. The food was good compared to the Campanile just 500m up the road where we usually stay. Will use the kyriad again.

We spent a very pleasant night at Hotel Kyriad Rouen Nord, Mont Saint Aignan. Upon arrival early evening, the hotel restaurant was open and served an enjoyable choice for evening meal reasonably priced. We were then able to take a short but comfortable walk before retiring to a very comfortable bed. Being on the third floor wasn't a problem as we had previously learnt that most smaller hotels do not supply lifts despite perhaps having heavy bags to carry!

Our only problem had been finding the hotel, our sat nave had taken us to a smart residential area of same region!

Unlike most of the hotels we stay in, this hotel put me off the Kyriad group altogether. The reception staff were not helpful and did not we were led to believe speak English. We felt we were putting them out just being there. The room was basic and had the rubbish bins stored outside the window. The worst thing though was that the smell from the second of our rooms was enough to make you want to be sick. Even the state of the toilet showed it had not had a good clean for a long time. The receptionist was unsympathetic and argued with us. They even wanted us to clean the toilet. We could not change rooms as the hotel was fully booked; however the coach load of people had not arrived so they could have got something sorted. as it was we had no alternative but to suffer from the concequences. Our ordeal did not end there because the dustbins were moved about causing lots of noise to wake us up.

La chambre avait des volumes satisfaisant mais pas d’intimité car les murs sont minces. La propreté de la chambre était bien mais pas le hall de déjeuner car tout collait et les cueilleres n’était pas propres. Le personnel de l’accueil etait gentil et agréable.
L’hôtel est vieillissant, les moquettes rouges dans l’escalier donnent un air poussiéreux rajoutant le côté vieux de l’hôtel et la cage d’escalier avec les plaquages bois façon chalet à la montagne c’est vraiment has-been.
Sinon pour le prix c’est acceptable bien entendu.

L'accès sur le parking ok, Les dalles de l'allée principale sont défectueuses ( beaucoup de cassées et instables)et donc bruyanteset dangereuses.
Chambre : le receveur de douche est tachée, pas très esthétique et agréable.
Et pas d'économie d'eau sur la chasse d'eau du wc qui devrait être obligatoire sur un système de volume d'eau usée recevant du public. L'isolation acoustique !

Point négatif parcontre La chambre 501 est vieille, plinthes en bois décollés, \"moquettes\" ancienne, la chambre aurait besoin d'une rénovation.

Au niveau du confort de la literie nous apprécions la qualité du matelas ainsi que les oreillers. Linge très propre.
La salle de bain n'était pas du tout au top, des nombreuses traces noires au niveau de la douche. De plus l'eau avait du mal à s'évacuer du bas de douche. Le côté agréable serait la puissance du jet.
L'étagère qui se trouve au niveau de l'entrée était toute poussiéreuse. Les choses positives se trouvent dans le petit plateau avec café et thé, la grande télé au mur. L'hôtel est calme et permet de prendre le repos nécessaire. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux pour gourmands. Fruits frais, yaourts divers, fromages, jambon, oeufs brouillés, viennoiseries, pains différents.

Nur mit der Anfahrt hatten wir Probleme, da es keine Angabe der Straße gab, wie unser GPS verlangte.
Somit mußten wir mehrmals Bürger fragen, ohne Erfolg.
Nach einer Stunde leitete uns ein freundlicher Franzose
zum Hotel.
