Property was nice and quiet. Staff was kind and helpful. However, the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty and the water drain would clog, leading to water getting out of the shower and into the rest of the bathroom. Toilet could have been cleaner and fresher. Aside from that, everything else was fine.

Only person working spoke/understood no English-- fortunately I am reasonably fluent in French, but my companion was not and the hotel specified English was spoken. Seemed annoyed to have to open the garage for us to be able to park, as well.

The room, in a 3star hotel not only was not heated but had no radiator, and this with -3C outdoors. We did get a partial refund but are still out of pocket. Went to Mercure Cathedrale where we had a great room in a very civilised hotel. Would appreciate a total refund

It is so close to being a nice hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are ok, but need minor repairs. My negatives are:

1) internet has a user fee. What?! It’s like saying you need to pay for the bed. It’s annoying.
2) toilet rocks and lid is loose
3) both the sink and shower drain so slowly that it could overflow easily.
4) cigarette burns on comforter
5) room smells of smoking
6) a bit noisy from vehicle traffic but ok if doors closed. Would be an issue in hot weather though.

Very good breakfast for European style. Good view of river.

If you don't know the city...and especially if you're a foreign driver, using a GPS is really helpful... The folks at the hotel were great and gave us a parking spot in the basement. Everything we wanted to see, especially the market place was within easy walking distance and the staff had all sorts of helpful tips. The price was good and while simple, it had everything you'd want for a short visit to the city. In a two star hotel you aren't looking for great amenities; that said, everything worked well, it was clean and comfortable and near anything you might want... a really good value for the money.

Not flashy, but great for a short stay

Very central, and not flash, but perfectly fine for when you want to be close to the mediaeval part of Rouen but you are not going to spend much time in the hotel. This is because the rooms are quite small (the shower was quite pokey too) but they were clean and comfortable and fine for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again if I was planing a short stay in the city.

Very convenient location to do a walking tour of the city. Staff was very polite and helpful, especially when my non-French speaking husband and young child in need of a bathroom ran into the hotel as we arrived to find the facilities and ask where we could park the car (there's a garage, but since we had not yet checked in could not yet access it). Large, clean room for 3 adults and 1 child, good breakfast.

Great location two minutes walk from the main area. Overlooks the Seine. Budget but expected it to be basic , but it was how I imagine a Homeless hostel to be. Bathroom was diabolical , needed to be a contortionist to get on the loo. Shame as staff were lovely, but a bit of TLC and a small amount of investment could make this place a gem in this location and they could then justify an increase in cost

Old and cramped hotel with friendly staff

I am not sure how/why the hotel was rated 3 stars. It feels old and cramped, especially the lobby. The room was quite plain, but perhaps OK for short stay if one is used to basic accommodation. Basic amenities, such as fridge and coffee maker, or even cups, were lacking. The hotel staff was quite nice. The location is fine, although being in front of the river is not necessarily a plus, since it means one is above a busy road that runs parallel to the river. I suppose this is OK for a short stay, although if I were to go to Rouen again I will probably look for a better hotel.

Overlooks noisy street

Reasonably-priced, 60-room, old European hotel. Overlooks Seine River. Between the river and the room, there are two main highways. Rooms facing in this direction have two sets of wall-to-wall sliding windows. With both sets closed, you cannot hear the street. On the other hand, the rooms don't appear to have air conditioning, so you might need the windows open. You will see some "old stuff," including rust or lumpy paint. Beds, however, seemed very nice and clean, although a bed wasn't made up in one of our rooms when we arrived and the French-speaking staff did not understand the issue. From what we could tell, there are NO close cafes. Most are several blocks away in Old Rouen. The hotel has parking, but if full, there is an underground lot immediately next to the hotel's driveway. Breakfast is around 8-euro. We did not take advantage of it, although another person in our party did. Very easy access to the business district and Old Rouen. Should you stay there? Reasonable price. Near historic sites. Very near the Seine. Parking available. Comfortable beds. Somewhat rundown. Very energy-savings conscious (motion controlled lighting that quickly shuts down after triggered in halls). WiFi included, and it is strong!

Hotel very helpful in giving us the room requested. Could do with a few finishing touches, i had to rehook the curtains as they were drooping. The balcony and views are amazing and we do stay there every year as it is convenient for the town centre and we love the balcony & views of the city.

A decent no-frills stop over

We booked a family room for four which turned out to be two interconnected doubles so there was plenty of room for all of us (and two bathrooms) even though each individual room was quite small and basic. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is conveniently situated just 10 minutes walk from the old town centre of Rouen, which is very nice, and it has secure parking which cost us 10 euros for one night which we didn't feel an excessive price. It's a no-frills place which could do with a make-over but I'd happily use it again.

Basic but pleasant

This hotel is quite basic and warrnts its 2 starts but the staff were very helpdul and friendley and for the price the room was perfectly adequate with hot water whenever we needed it and everything worked as it should. The parking was convenient, the free internet access was very wvery welcome and the hotel was only a short walk from the centre. I would recommend a room a front overlooking the river if you have the choice as the view from the back was flats.

I booked this hotel on line as a stop off on the way back to the U.K.

The staff were very very Helpfull, And unlike the major chain of hotels I had been staying in this hotel had everything it advertised, Parking, Wifi, very convenient location. It may not look great when you see it but its a good cheap hotel!

Lovely hotel , friendly owner and staff.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it is now under new ownership. It is in a lovely position with rooms overlooking the river (can be a bit noisy!) as there are 10 lanes of traffic below, and it is only 5-10 mins walk to the city centre. The new owners speak enough english and are very helpful & friendly. The only downside to our stay was it was really really hot and no air conditioning or fan.
However we will be back next year and just hope it ius a bit cooler!!

Stayed two days longer then our booking, because it was a great location for our needs. We were 5 minutes walk from the centre of Rouen and the hotel had the cheapest parking we found in Normandy.
The hotel is located on a busy road (rush hours only) but that didn't matter as it gave us great road link to Paris and the Normandy coast. The staff were very helpful. Our twin room was clean and quiet and was value for money. We are going to rebook another stay there later this month. All in all we were very happy with our stay

Cheapish but hot and noisy

We wanted an overnight stop in northern France that had secure parking, as we had a car full of camping equipment and other things. This proved to be a more challenging proposition than expected. This hotel provided the secure parking, but is on a busy road, so the windows cannot really be left open, and the hotel was incredibly hot. Rooms pretty small but OK.

Zimmer und Bett waren zwar okay, aber sehr billige Möbel. Zimmertür war gleichzeitig Haustür. Diese war erstens zu dünn, es zog rein von außen und das durchsichtige Rollo konnte das Licht der durchsichtigen Scheiben in der Tür nicht verdunkeln.
Ordentliches Bad, aber sehr versiefter,
widerlicher Dichtungsübergang zwischen Duschtasse und Fliesen.

Badly stained carpet, bathroom door handle loose. Apart from that, good. It looks over the Seine but also a boulevard, so lots of cars (noisy).
Excellent service.
If you don't book your parking ahead, there is one just around the corner, just go to the hotel first to get a hotel pass ($20/night)

Grosse déception, en arrivant dans la chambre à 19h30, fenêtres grandes ouvertes pour tenter de masquer les odeurs de cigarette froide désagréable. Literie digne d'un hôtel F1 (ne pas se fier aux belles photos). Le réassort de gel douche et/ou mouchoir ne doit pas être à l'ordre du jour ici. Moquette tâchée, tapisserie déchirée. Seul point positif notable, l'endroit est assez calme malgré des venues incessantes de jeunes dans le hall de l'hôtel qui filent rapidement dans un endroit isolée derrière l'accueil.

Die Lage zur historischen Altstadt ist perfekt! Im Parkhaus 2 Straßen weiter kann man für 17€/24h parken.

Die Zimmer sind von der Größe ok. Das Bad ist schön renoviert. Das Personal war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit!
ABER die Sauberkeit im Bad ist verbesserungsfähig! Im Hotel ist es zwar ruhig aber der Lärm der Straße durch die Fenster ist massiv. Die Kopfkissen sind allerdings unterirdisch!!! Katastrophal!! Viel zu hoch und zu fest. Die Kopf-Nackenschmerzen waren gigantisch!!!!

Hôtel très bien situé à 15 min à pied des lieux commerçants et de visites. Attention, parking disponible ne veut pas dire gratuit. 20 euros supplémentaires par jour. 5 places de stationnements au sous sol de l' hôtel où il faut être revenu avant 22h sinon place inaccessible. Ou bien places disponibles sur parking public à l'aide d'un pass de l'hôtel (toujours 20€) de 16h à midi. Autres points sombres de mon séjour, pas de climatisation donc fenêtre ouverte la nuit et c'est une grande ville avec ses bruits nocturnes. Le double vitrage est constitué de deux fenêtres simple vitrage sur support alu coulissant. L'une d'elle ne fermait pas complètement. Les doubles rideaux sont fixés à environ 5 cm de la fenêtre donc le jour passe largement entre les deux fenêtres. Note positive, le réceptionniste a été très bien.

Nous sommes arrivés avec des enfants à 22h à l'hôtel. Le bon point c'est que l'on peut récupérer les clefs dans un coffre...ensuite ca a été une vraie galère !!
Nos clefs ne fonctionnaient pas donc nous avons du attendre dans le couloir que la réceptionniste revienne à l'hôtel pour nous ouvrir.
Nos clefs n'ont jamais fonctionnées, ce qui voulait dire qu'un départ de la chambre était un départ définitif !
Compliqué quand on est seule avec un bébé de deux ans !
Nous n'avons pas eu de proposition de geste commercial ni d'excuses alors que nous avons attendu 1h dans le couloir avec nos enfants.
De plus, les chambres donnant sur la rue sont très bruyantes, j'avais l'impression de m'endormir sur la route.
Les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité et la propreté n'est pas au niveau.
Je ne reviendrai pas et ne recommande pas.

Dejligt hotelværelse med alt hvad vi behøvede. Der er rimelig lyt på værelserne, men behagelig seng og godt badeværelse. Vi havde hængt “forstyr ikke” skilt ud på døren, som rengøringspersonalet ikke forstod og kom ind alligevel. Morgenmaden var fin og beliggenheden var super god med kort gåafstand ind til centrum. Virkelig dejligt med p-hus rundt om hjørnet, nu når de ikke har parkering ved hotellet.

L'hôte ne parle pas le français à plus de 30%

J'ai dû revenir à deux reprises à l'accueil durant mon séjour pour espérer avoir une place dans l'hôtel,(sans me dire que celui ci était payante)
Pendant ce temps, celui ci ma fait payer le parking dehors (17€) me promettant une place de parking plus tard, pour au final m'annoncer la place à 15€. J'ai perdu mon temps avec cette homme pour rien !!

Je n'avais jamais vu un hôte aussi incompétent.

(J'ai pourtant j'ai fais énormément d'hôtel avec mon travail)

Sinon l'hôtel est très propre !

Accueil bien, parcontre j’ai pris une douche a mon arrivée et j’ai innondé la salle de bain. Obligé de déboucher le syphon moi même qui etait rempli de cheveux et autres... la fenêtre etait bloquée donc difficile a ouvrir. Sur une des serviettes de bain, quelques traces suspectes marron ...
Le lavabo est beau et design, parcontre aucune place pour poser une trousse de toilette

Accueillie par un "pote" du vrai hôte d'accueil qui parlait très peu français. Les pièces communes font peur et les migrants qui squattent l'entrée est étonnante.
Impossible de s'endormir avant h du matin, j'ai eu beau appelé l'accueil pour remédier au bruit, rien n'y a fait. Entre portes qui claquent et squattage dans les couloirs, ce fut une nuit abominable. En revanche,la chalbre était fraichement rénovée et propre, digne d'un Kyriad habituel. Mais bon, je n'y retournerai plus

Etape vraiment désastreuse.

La raison de mon choix, cet hôtel était proche du centre, et encore libre...mais quel désastre!! Très sale, inconfort, literie nauséabonde, impossible de dormir. N'acheter pas le ticket pour le parking, qui est publique, il ne fonctionne pas, donc vous payez 2 fois..je vous laisse juge de cette méthode peu scrupuleuse.

La chambre était grande mais vétusté. La propreté laisse a desirer. Les volets bois de ferment très mal.
Beaucoup trop bruyant: d'autres personnes ont mis le bazard (musique dans la chambre ,porte claquée, discussion et rires forts)

restés du vendredi soir au lundi matin, hotel bien situé mais l handicap demeure le parking surtout lorsque vs venez de loin, et que vs devez tourner un certain temps pour comprendre que vous DEVREZ aller en parking sous terrain, l hotel se fichant pas mal de ce problème, sans compter le prix.

Point noir: hébergement de personnes en nombre faisant beaucoup de bruit jusque tard dans la nuit. Pas de surveillance de nuit. Ou inefficace. Je déconseille. Pour ma part je change d établissement.

à proximité des transports en commun (stations de bus et de métro)
pas loin de la gare SNCF
sur les quais de la seine
grand balcon avec vue sur la seine
chambre très propre ainsi que le cabinet de toilette qui comprend WC, lavabo et douche
l'ensemble très bien chauffé (c'était en janvier)
très bon rapport qualité prix
