My check-in was fast and easy, where Tiara at the front desk along with Mr. Beard (manager) immediately made me feel at home. My room was amazing and then the morning Toni greeted and assisted with breakfast. I was also provided a late checkout, which allowed me to enjoy all the amenities. This was the best stay ever, and I’ve been a lot of places. Thank you everyone for making my stay extra relaxing.

If I were to nit pick I would say that normally I like when the closet has an extra pillow & small blanket. And the breakfast bar was lacking in selection. But, ultimately we enjoyed our stay & have no real complaints at all.

Dont let the remodeled exterior fool you, its in serious need of an update of the rooms. Can do in a pinch but after a couple separate stays there for 1 or 2 nights for local events I will be staying elsewhere. Convenient to DTW if thats important.

Good location and great, spacious rooms. We booked the studio with 2 queen beds and absolutely LOVED the space, comfort, and the quality of the amenities and toiletries.

However, the front desk experience at check-in did not match the quality of the room, and breakfast was a solid 1-star. Huge disappointment at breakfast! I’ve already sent a message to the manager about it.

The first room we checked into had a disgusting stain on the sheets probably from you know what!
They moved us to another room... This room didn't have a garbage can in the bathroom. To top it off in the morning I m taking a shower and the shower body wash was bone dry so no soap!

The front desk lady that helped us check in was not very pleasant, in fact find of rude. Our room was not very clean. The seating area had several stains on them, the white bedding has some black speckles on it, the bathroom shower was a bit rough looking and not the cleanest either. You could hear a lot of the noise from other rooms which was not pleasant. It wasn't a bad stay and was convenient to where we needed to go.

It was a sub par hotel. Breakfast was horrible and very limited. Hotel was not the cleanest. Had a suite and still had very little seating in the room. Fire pit outside was broken. Hot tub was broken. Not worth what I paid at all. Extremely over priced. Staff was the only pleasant thing about this hotel. Very friendly.

An ok stay

I had booked two rooms for my family and I. While my room had no issues, the other one my sister had said that the pillows smelled and the sheets were damp. Also her bathtub wouldn’t drain. The stay wasn’t horrible and the water not draining in the shower was an easy fix. The breakfast was not very good, and the pool was closed the whole time we were stayed.

When we checked in desk clerk said they were sold out for the evening so they upgradedus from the king I prepaid for to a queen one br suite, which I didn't want because I had to share the bed with children. They made us take the suite and when we went in there were food crumbs all over the kitchen floor, someones open toothpast packets in the bathroom and towels everywhere, the rug clearly not vaccumed I didn't even make it into the separate bedroom before turning around and leaving and demanding the king room I prepaid for and that if they considered what they just put us in an upgrade they should refund me immediately. King room was a little better. Bathroom was fully cleaned but shower basin was cracked and starting to rust. Room was sprayed to smell fresh but I still question if it had been vaccumed. Beedding was very wrinkled but appeared to smell clean and unused. Breakfast was cold every morning including the \"warm\" buffet items. I had just spent 4 days at TownPlace in Lansing, MI and it was beautiful and staff was much more pleasant This location needs some updates physically and in staff.

I recommend that no one stay at this facility there was no pool that was working no jacuzzi working which was not expressed and Expedia I should have looked at the reviews better before choosing this facility the rooms were very dirty no housekeeping I thought for a new facility that I was going to be very pleased with this but I was very wrong I had to go by bleach to clean the floors the counters and the bathroom there was dirty rags from the previous people that stayed there in the drawers in the bathroom me and my daughter had to wash the headboard down with bleach for the money that I paid for this facility I should have been refunded for some of the amenities that were not provided I had no clue that the pool had no heat and that the jacuzzi had been broken for over a year and a half it look like Ray Charles caulked and painted in the hotel room especially in the bathroom no bathroom fan it smelled I literally wanted to cry the first night there because I was so disappointed very very bad choice do not stay at that facility there was no shampoo conditioner or body wash in the bathrooms the towels were minimal, and I had to get more. Mind you when I first got there the first room they gave me was dirty not cleaned at all so they gave me a second room that was just as bad.i totally do not get that, it was very disturbing how dirty these rooms were. I took pictures hoping to post them it was that bad.

WOULD I RETURN?

I was an out of town guest and my experience I would never suggest this place to others!!!
1. There was no phone in our room, asked front desk rep about it her continued response “it SHOULD be by the bed” after being told multiple times there was no phone in the room. No i will send someone up to look, there was no time where the worker took initiative to send someone or come up and either replace or provide an accommodation or incentive. Customer service at all time low based off just that.
2. Shower was HORRIBLE! That’s it.
3. No dish soap for dishes.
4. Sheets WERE DIRTY!
5. light bulb flickered in the bathroom

Breakfast by a thread (there should be options of meat for non pork eaters, so my breakfast was limited, and suggest a label for creamer) and the gym were the best things out of the stay.

Really it just looked like a lot of construction and I don’t know why like our room didn’t have a shower door. There was plaster all over the floor. The coffee pot had not been cleaned needed cleaned underneath the couch. Didn’t look like the room was ready for somebody to be there, even though the bed was made, we want to use the pool in the Jacuzzi and the water was freezing so when I pay that much for a hotel room, I expect it to be much better and it was not

Check in and keys should be digital these days. I shouldn’t have to stop at the desk for keys or a card.

The room was just okay. Decor was outdated. We had a suite. There was no bedding for the sofa bed. Called downstairs no answer. Had to go downstairs to get it. The sheet didn’t even fit the dirty mattress. We were given two pillows with one pillow case.

The TV had a terrible lag. Front desk told us to disconnect and wait 10 mins for it to reset and it would work.

The shower had a yellow spot on the wall where something had been removed. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Writing under the mirror from the contractors that hasn’t been painted.

Filthy dirty and rundown.

This hotel looks like it is 10 yrs old or more. The entire lobby area was a disappointment as was the patio that was pictured on the website to be large & inclusive of a fire pit, outdoor tables & chairs & a gazebo.
The first room they gave us was on the first floor, we had requested to be on an upper floor - it was not busy at all so we weren’t sure why they put us there, we rea;;y could’ve had the pick of the hotel. We asked to be moved. The second room was disgustingly dirty. The comforter on the bed had blood stains all over it. The bathroom was not fully stocked w/the toiletries; the lotion bottles were already used, the toilet paper holder was falling off of the wall. The light bulb in the floor lamp was burnt out, the room had not been dusted & the air filters for the heater unit were sitting on the counter. We went down to the front desk to ask for our bed linens to be entirely changed, the phone in the room was dirty as well. When someone finally came up w/new linens, the worker handed them to us and said, here you go. We had to change the bed ourselves, there were ZERO cleaning people. Seems they never have cleaning people! The worst run hotel, the woman who checked us in was alone because other employees had called out. She had to hurry to check us in because she needed to leave at the end of her shift. Terrible hotel!

The hotel was great, clean room and close to the highway which made it easy to go downtown. My only issue was the indoor pool was closed and wasn’t told till check in. They did offer a refund but being last minute I wasn’t gonna scramble to find another one and wait for the refund of 5-7 days.

The hotel room looked like it’s been there for years and it hasn’t been . The pull out couch was big enough for a toddler had no extra sheets or pills for it!! There were dishes in the dish washer I don’t know if they were clean or dirty no extra dishes to use but there was a stove! Pool ice machine and water fountains couldn’t be used. Don’t like the approach the lady at the counter had when I first got to the hotel.

Soiled Sheets and the Legionnaires was a turn-off

Unfortunately, the bedding in this room was stained with blood and the skirting on the bed was filled with a muddy residue. Later, it came to our attention that two of the on-side guest had Legionella/Legionnaires disease. So, walking into a room that was soiled, certainly did not help. Once we learned of the Legionaries disease circulation from other guests on the property, we decided to move to another area Hotel.

I am in a wheelchair and I called down to the desk to see if someone could help with my bags when I was checking out. The lady said no they did not offer that kind of service and did not have the staff for it. I said “okay no problem I’m in a wheelchair and would’ve been helpful but it’s not a problem at all I will get it.” Once she heard that she asked what time I would need to leave so I told her and she said she could step away from the desk at that time and help me. I thought this was very kind of her to help me out even though this is a service they normally do not offer. Thank you very much for going above and beyond!!

Kristen was great, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed.

The breakfast was good the next morning. The young lady preparing breakfast was also very nice, she made sure everyone got what they were looking for.

Rooms were huge, nice and clean. They had a full kitchen and refrigerator.

The customer service here alone will definitely bring me back. Thank you ladies!!!

When I was searching for a hotel for my three young grandchildren and me for two nights, I limited my search to hotels with indoor pools. It turns out that the pool was closed the entire time we stayed there. Pretty disappointing. No tissues (other than toilet tissue) in the room. The room was equipped with three ceramic mugs and one single drinking glass (no plastic cups, either).

The room was much better than the pictures . Me and my husband really enjoyed the comfort of the bed. The shower was also amazing it has multiple ways to change the water pressure and they also have great shampoo, conditioner & body wash not the small travel size but the larger bottles where you will never run out during your stay. The fire pit out front felt amazing considering it was very chilly out that day. The buffet breakfast was great everything was hot and fresh we will definitely stay here again soon.

When we first arrived, we realized that the toilet in our room was not working. I called the front desk. They offered me a plunger to fix it. I was like, don't you have maintenance that can come up and take care of this. They said no, they are off for the rest of the night. Then they decided to switch our rooms and put us in a smaller room which I was not happy with and my daughter and her friends swam in a freezing pool and the hot tub was not working. Other than that, the staff seemed nice and the beds were comfortable. But the birthday weekend I planned for my daughter was not as expected. Also the second room we went to was not very clean and the soaps in the shower were out. I was not accommodated for any of the inconveniences that we experienced.. I would not stay here again.

Staff was nice. Our soap dispenser didn't work in the shower. I stopped at the front desk and told them. They acknowledged, apologized, but never fixed it. The room was very nice and had all kinds of amenities (I didn't realize pans, plates, silverware...were included). Breakfast was horrible. Fake eggs. Crap waffles. Some oatmeal and bread. That's about it.
