The staff were very polite and welcoming, and I appreciated their kindness during my stay.

Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. There was a strong unpleasant smell throughout the property, and there were people smoking drugs around the hotel, which made the environment uncomfortable and the odor even worse. Saw two police officers in the hotel investigating something.

The room itself was very small, and basic amenities were lacking. There wasn’t enough shampoo or soap provided. While the staff were great, the cleanliness, smell, and surrounding environment made the stay far from ideal.

This hotel is nothing but an old roach infested apartment building. There were blood stains on my mattress. There were prostitutes and homeless junkies loitering in the lobby with impunity. Very Regrettable choice. You will absolutely regret booking at this trash can.

We ended up not staying. We didn't feel safe in that area. We didn't feel comfortable parking our car overnight for fear of vandalism. Then the guests we saw were not the kind of people we wanted our children around. Things were dingy and worn in the lobby. Same with the room. Even with it being non refundable we didn't even want to stay long enough to eat the food we bought in the room. The staff was fine. Nice and accomodating. Our decision not to stay was mainly due to the hotel being in a bad neighborhood.

This property is very old and outdated and nothing like the photos depicted. It’s more like a small apartment building where the rooms are almost entirely occupied with people living there and the lobby is a communal hang out for the residents. The toilet in our room backed up after one flush and they sent a maintenance man/ resident to fix it and he made a mess to which when asked about it he replied it’s just water. The next day we were given another room only after calling the front desk to complain about the same issue. Even then that room ls lights wouldn’t turn on and the next room only half the lights worked but we settled for that because we had an early flight and just wanted to rest. Oh the towels were more like car shams. Horrible experience and we’d never stay again or recommend.

this should not be a hotel. its peace of garbage. its not for human at all. beds has stain of you dont want to imagine. no water building filled of weed smell. everything is dramatically dirty. Owner/manager are responsible for this state of this place and they need to really take it off market, fix it and put it back online, other than that DONT risk yourself.

This property was terrible. Normally, I wouldn't leave a bad review, but this property deserved it. The security lock on the door was broken and the room safe didn't work. There was no toilet paper in the room, I had to go down to the front desk to get some. The toilet paper holder was broken and on the floor. The room and halls smelled. There was some effort to make the location look cosmetically better, but it was like putting lipstick on a pig. Please take this review as constructive criticism.

There was no room service. I had 1 person to come in there. And that was the person I checked in with. He didn't have anything else to say. Went upstairs to the room room was clean but there was no place to hang clothes. the window shades. When I stay down, you pull it down and it goes right back up. The remote I had to go down and get another remote because somebody else took the remote for the TV and I'm handicapped and I'm. Didn't I'm walking with a walk in handicap? That's a lot to ownthe door I'm sticking. I had to push it. To real hard to get up. I did not enjoy that state at all. Thank you, Ms Tubbs.

NEVER STAY HERE !!!!!We left as soon as we found out the shower was broken . The chair in the room had mold on it . The doors had no locks on the inside. The tv was missing , the frint desk staff handed me a light bulb told me to fix it . The lobby smelled of pot . I do not recommend this property to be in business!

This property is SUPER out dated, Not clean at all! I did not stay here after I saw the room I just could not do it! The pictures on the site looks nice but it’s the complete opposite of what you walk into! I didn’t feel safe, it’s more like a ran down apartment building than hotel! Hotel staff were friendly, neighborhood was nice. Checkin area is pretty decent and there's plenty of parking but the shower had mold, saw a few roaches, and you can hear everything. I didn't expect \"perfection\" but I didn't think mold and roaches were apart of the deal. Overall, felt pretty safe. Sheets and bed was free of dirt and debris.

The room was filthy and we had several roaches. One even fell out of our shoe in the morning. The whole hallway smelled like pot and the room was stuffy. We tried the air conditioner to help, but it said replace filter. Don't be fooled by the nice looking exterior and lobby. The rooms are nothing like the public areas.

Staff was friendly, but the overall experience was kind of disappointing. It kind of looked like the pictures that were posted online, it just is dirty.The hotel has the potential to be more appealing, I think it just needs a good cleaning and an exterminator. I didn't see evidence of bugs in my room but there was so much dirt on the floors and that could be seen throughout the building. When checking for bedbugs we were happy to not find anything but between the mattress and box spring was very dirty. It's clear that they haven't vacuumed under the matress in a long time, plus there was a cigarette butt in there. The bathroom was nice but had poor lighting and the floors were sticky. We never took our shoes off. After seeing a cockroach in the hallway we decided to leave early. That being said the room was nice to have to get ready for a concert in, but not nice enough to want to sleep there. It was also a convenient location to get a Lyft to Ford Field to avoid driving in the traffic ourselves.

The worst in every way a hotel room can be wrong, checked in and as soon as you open the door there is an army of roaches welcoming you to the room. Dirty from the beds to the bathroom to the carpet . Every inch smells like cigarettes . I lasted 5 min in there and left the property, won’t even issue a refund or come out to talk to you . I don’t know why the city of Detroit will leave such establishment open .

This place should be condemned! Its a complete travesty. I checked in went to my room, pulled back the covers, and immediately asked for a refund. They refused and i had to contact Hotels.com to get a complete refund. The sheets contained blood stains and bed bugs. No one should ever step foot on the premises.

i was extremely disappointed when i emailed the hotel and never heard back from them. my experience to say the least ways very upsetting.
1. there were no batteries in the fire detector
2. under the bed was not cleaned. there were items left over from other visits
3. 2/3 of the outlets kept flickering
4. we saw a live cockroach in our room
5. lastly, my friend got something out of the vending machine that expired 2022.

Booked 2 rooms for crews on business in the area. They checked in and went to the room which was infested with roaches and bed bugs. They went to the front desk to switch rooms but the 2nd room had the same problem. They ended up leaving and staying at another hotel and I am currently trying to get a refund. The hotel is not taken care of at all. Highly do not recommend staying.

There was roaches all over the room, the room in general was not what was advertised, the floors were so sticky that we couldn’t put our items down, much less walk without our shoes sticking, the elevator was sketchy and honestly terrifying - how this was allowed to be used for the public is beyond me. There were no blankets, just a sheet and all the pillows were disgusting. My boyfriends shoe accidentally got pushed under the bed and when i grazed the ground with my hand, it was so unclean I (not jokingly) scrubbed and bleached my hands. There was no trash bin and no mini fridge. No microwave either but we weren’t expecting that. The main light didn’t work, and the one lamp was plugged in behind the bed, so whenever you moved on the bed, the light would flicker. Total fire hazard. The safety latch on the door was beyond broken, and there were holes in the bathroom door. The water pressure for the shower was non existent, and the room, even though the hotel is advertised as non smoking, reeked of cigarette smoke and weed. The staff wasn’t friendly, and whenever we walked in and out of the hotel, would constantly interrogate me and my mother if we were guests and needed to show our key room to prove so. Horrible horrible horrible stay. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

Do not stay at this hotel. We checked in and they gave us a room with people already in the room. It is definitely a “you can get a room by the hour” hotel. We were given the family suite as a we are sorry. No, TV’s, half the lights don’t work and all bedding was stained. This being said we used the restroom and then left. While we were checking in there were some Spanish young men looking for a room to share; as we were leaving they were coming up from the basement and the clerk asked them if they were interested, they said no and by the look in their face it must have been a pretty scary hostel. Drug deals going on in parking lot. All around dirty and dingy place. I do not recommend to anyone. We left for our show and never went back. I would have taken photos, but really just wanted out before I got some disease.

The rooms were filthy. Lifted the mattress and it had never been cleaned, finger nails, bugs, disgusting things… the floors were sticky, there was mold and dirt everywhere. The bunk beds looked like they had been slept in, dirty sheet hanging from it, the pillows on the bed had some sort of substance on it, fridge was so gross… we left this hotel immediately. When we decided to just eat the cost and leave we got the strange feeling this was normal from the employees shrugs and expression. This is basically a cash scam front for a lodging experience.

The piping is bad the showers flush the toilets do not flush there is scurry of roaches over 30 at a time flowing all around on the floor they forced entry into the room after they was denied they sprayed heavy chemicals in the room while it was occupied with children with severe medical conditions as my breathing disorders, which had triggered an asthma attack
