The location was perfect for getting to the Fox Theater if you and your traveling companions don't mind walking. I enjoyed my stay,.but some minor updates are needed especially if you are paying the downtown price for a room. The room needed a mattress change which was sinking in the middle and the shower wasn't working properly which is fine because I love baths anyway. I wish I focused more on the pet stay because I am allergic to dogs, but I made due. The bed rug needs to be cleaned and the floors needs some Murphy's Soap.

The valet parking team was excellent and the staff working the evening of 6/5 (Andre I believe was his name was phenomenal). The morning staff of 6/7 checking out wasn't as grand because I had to wait in line and the staff worker waited on the gentleman who stepped around me in line to answer his question. Not a great customer service experience here!

We checked in late into a room and realised that there were food leftovers from previous guests in the refrigerator. The oven and Refrigerator both didn’t seem to work.

We were given a second room and found that there were hair strands on the microwave oven, dust and coffee stains on the bed side table and the bathroom door was broken, resulting in door not closing.

Room hygiene and cleanliness were basic expectations which this hotel failed to provide. Really disappointed with our stay.

Because it was late we ordered food online and asked for some basic cutlery to which we were told they ran out of paper plates and spoons.

Failed to meet basic expectations!!

We had stained bedding and furniture. The floors were not completely cleaned from the apparent glitter party that took place by the prior guests. The ac didn't work when we went in and had to get maintenance to come up and fix it.

The hotel feels a little tired and understaffed. Three of the rooms we booked weren't available until gone 6pm. Breakfast was disappointing. One staff member most mornings for a busy room, with breakfast taking up to an hour. One morning, our breakfast just didn't appear. Location is good.

We have always been happy with this property, this time, not so much.
We arrived shortly after 5PM to a line of people waiting to check in. Listening as other were being checked in, they were telling guests there was a wait for their rooms. The associate was explaining that guests have been checking in since 7AM, and they are giving out rooms in the order that they came in.
Explain to me, what does that mean? In my mind, you don’t have rooms ready, period. She denied that to be the case. She said it was about a 15-20 minute wait. While we were waiting the family behind us got called to the desk for their room.
My husband went up to talk to the guy that came out from ‘office?’. He told him we’ve been waiting longer than the 15-20 minute quote. He immediately had a room for us.
The front desk peeps, just did not seem as friendly as they normally are.
Side note, in room coffee maker did not work. It leaked all over the dresser.

We arrived at the beginning of check in time (4pm) and were told we would have to wait about an hour for our room. We then were told our room type had been changed from a standard to a suite without our knowledge, and there were only a few suites available, hence the wait. Our room was ready two hours later.
The room was nice and big. However, the shower was not as clean as it could have been and the handle came off in my hand. The air conditioner also made very loud banging noises as it cycled on and off. Very frustrating experience at an otherwise nice hotel with a great location for events at Ford Field/Tigers stadium

From the time I got there pull up to vallet parking where I thought me and my daughter would have help with out bags..everyone just pretty much stared at us no help at all..hospitality not good at all..the money I paid to stay there wasn’t worth it..didn’t have breakfast there or visit the bar..I refuse to spend more money somewhere with less hospitality..I would not stay again..

We did not eat at the restaurant in the morning. I went down our first morning in the hotel (Saturday, 5/2) and just wanted to get two (2) cups of coffee to take up to the room.
There was only one server in the restaurant, and she was helping people at tables in a far section of the restaurant where she couldn't see me at the counter. After waiting over 5 minutes, and getting no service, I left and went across the street to the Starbucks in the Westin to get the coffee. I went there the remaining 2 days we stayed.

Our group of 25 all stayed at hotel Indigo for a conference and had a great experience! The walk down to the conference center was super easy and there were many bus stops super close by to get anywhere we wanted to go! The staff was awesome and even helped us check in early! The beds were comfy and the AC worked well. The only thing I would note is that the bathrooms are a bit small and the door doesn’t have a lock on it.

The staff were so friendly & very helpful, if I needed anything, they were quick to respond. Travelling with my elderly mum, this hotel was the excellent choice, rooms spacious & made our stay very comfortable. The food at the Trolly room was also very good. Hope to visit again & stay there.

The entry and exit doors of the hotel should be evaluated, as there is a noticeable delay in their operation. Additionally, the room doors appear to require replacement, as they close loudly and caused repeated disturbances during the night.

The front desk staff and valet drivers provided exceptional, world-class service and were a highlight of the stay. However, the restaurant staff would benefit from additional customer service training to enhance the overall guest experience.

The property overall feels somewhat tight in terms of space and layout. There were also minor cleanliness concerns, particularly in the hallways, which could benefit from more consistent upkeep.

On a positive note, the hotel maintained a pleasant and welcoming scent throughout.

The bathroom shower has a huge crack in it. The toilet won't flush. When I went to the desk for maintenance. I was offered a plunger. Not sure when I became an employee of the maintenance staff. I was very offended, I thought I was guest.After I did a job explain the problem she called maintenance. Then when did you start charging a 25$ early check in fee. This is ridiculous, if the room is ready what is the problem. I've worked for a hotel. So ik how long it takes to clean a room. The rooms are extremely small and narrow. I do want to complement the Valet Staff. They were very nice and displayed customer service‼️.

We did not try bar or restaurant. The restaurant doesn’t open till 5pm for dinner so if you’re wanting to catch an early dinner you will either need to bring in or find somewhere else to eat.

Staff was great, Breakfast options and quality for it being included was good. However our room was NOT clean, especially the bathroom. I will be posting/emailing the pictures on google. The bathroom shower was leaking on the floor and with that I used a towel to wipe up the water in which i realized HOW DIRTY to floor was. The towel was black. Then realized that they tried to fix the broken shower by caulking/resealing around the edges and the sliding door's glass was completely covered in dust from whatever construction happened. the edges had the white powder in the lips around it. then I was thinking. I am not going to continue in this room, however there were no more King Rooms available so I continued the already black towel to clean our bathroom fully. I found 2 pieces of broken glass in the corners under the sink (easily found by the way) so I know this room was not cleaned very well if the bathroom was in this much of a mess. We paid $200+ for one night and I've stayed in Motel8's for $100/night that were WAY cleaner than this. I was quite dissapointed.

Staff was really helpful/nice. Holding bags before check in allowed me to explore the city. Room was clean but not the best at blocking noise. Doors generally slam shut and echo down the hallways. Windows don’t block out loud cars. Still a solid choice to stay in downtown and close to attractions.

The staff at the desk were always pleasant and helpful with every question regarding local and airport transportation as well as luggage storage after checkout on my last day.

One of the worst hotel rooms I've EVER had in my life. Right next to a STAFF elevator that goes all day and all night. An air conditioner that would not stop at night and froze the room. When we turned the heat on in the morning, it ran for a minute or two and then kicked over to air conditioning again no matter what we did. I feel you guys should have paid us to stay in that room! SHAMEFUL. It was absolutely horrible.

When we left and turned off the light on the right side of the bed spun where it was attached and nearly broke my finger.
