The room was filthy the covers pillows had blood stains on them I went and got a new cover it had the same stains the staff acted like they didn’t care the shower was dirty the walls in curtains were dirty it looked like somebody got shot in the room it was filthy I will never go back

My daughter and I stayed after seeing Echo and The Bunnymen in Detroit. The hotel was great! Stay in a suite if possible. They are large and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional. Plus, I loved hitting the casino!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend to anyone. We were in Detroit for a Tigers game and it was a short walk to the stadium. Also a short walk (less than 30 min for everything we did) to other nearby things to do, including the Detroit River boat tour and the Eastern Farmers Market. All of the employees we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I booked our hotel through Expedia, booked a room with a king bed and sofa bed but when I checked in, the computer system had made an error and booked us for just a king bed. The woman at the front desk was quick to fix the error and was able to put us in an amazing room on the 20th floor. Our room had a separate living room with a pull out couch, half bath (sink and toilet), a big bedroom and a huge bathroom with a double sink, separate door to the toilet, big bathtub and a huge walk in shower. The entire suite had floor to ceiling windows with amazing views of Detroit and the Detroit River (Windsor, Canada across the river). The hotel was also a very short drive to Windsor, Canada where we had dinner at the Loose Goose. We were with a group of 6 adults and 5 kids so we didn’t visit the casino but really appreciated Dunkin attached to the lobby, for a quick coffee and breakfast.

The towel bar behind the bathroom door was broken. Our coffee maker did not work and there was four of us in a room which we registered for four people, but there was only three towels in the room. We also had a very small amount of toilet paper in our bathroom and we had to call down to the front desk to get more toilet paper.

Excellent free valet parking for hotel guests. Easy access to greektown and quick walk to Comerica Park. Beds were very comfortable and showers water pressure is perfect! We love having Dunkin donuts right in the lobby for a.m. coffee and breakfast.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our biggest issue was a cleaning request. The toilet randomly started making gurgle noises and splashed all over the floor before we could get in the bathroom to close the lid. We had to ask hotel staff 3 times if the bathroom floor could be cleaned due to the issue. We didn’t need the entire room cleaned, just the bathroom floor. We had to physically go to the lobby and request it again before it was cleaned.

Room appeared clean but within 5 mins of walking on the floor with no shoes our feet were black. The shower needed a deep clean as well as the tile. The tv remote didn’t have a back and the batteries were held in with janky tape. The NBA finals were happening during our stay and we were looking forward to getting some take out and watching them as we flew out the following day. The hotel doesn’t have a contract with ABC for special events and despite being offered options to stream the game on our phones and cast it to the tv, none would work. We were pretty disappointed. That’s really the only negative. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable lobby. Beds and towels were clean. We’d stay here again. Excellent choice for a Lions or Tigers game.

Great affordable hotel in downtown Detroit! Room was very spacious and clean. Beds comfy. Wish there was a restaurant available to eat at with kids or teens but all are in the casino and kids can’t eat there. Duncan Donuts was the only place to eat a quick breakfast, coffee or snack. Take advantage of the FREE valet parking! Best deal there. Just tip, of course.

They get you with the “amenity fee” that they don’t tell you about, but it’s somewhere in the doc you sign so you’re on the hook for it which I’d charged after you check out.

There were enough little things that were not right or working, especially for a room that was over $500 on a Friday. Paid to upgrade to have a soaking tub, that did not work. Toilet paper hanger was broke. No coffee cups or creamer. No plastic cups or glass ware, for a room like this, expected glasses. The wood grain on the check-in counter has a layer of black grime on it, do not touch. It was a nice room but things made it not worth it.

The hotel was fine, nothing fancy, but:
1.) there's a People Mover stop in the casino, which is great UNLESS you've got a minor in your party and have to needlessly leave the building to get to it. Why would you need to travel through the casino to access it?
2.) Housekeeping by request only? Never paid as much as I did for this stay to get that kind of treatment.
3.) in 2026 there isn't a microwave in the room?

Bed was worn out sank in the middle like a taco. Loud bass pounding from a club until 3am good luck sleeping. Ac cant be tirned down passed 66 and the thermostat is right next to register so the room is above 70 really all that for 500 a night what a joke!

Great property with just a few flaws. Parking is difficult to find currently with all the construction in the area (temporary) and while the rooms are nice the walls are super thin. You hear everything in the hallways and in the rooms next to you. Everything!

Staff was great and while we didn’t win at the casino, it is super fun and Greektown offers tons of bars and restaurants right nearby.

However, this hotel is ideal for those going to casino because it offers no complimentary amenities such as breakfast, coffee, or even a microwave in your room.
