Location is very convenient to convention center andvto Woodward Ave. Nice rooms, all with view. I wasn't impressed by the breakfast, but there are other choices in the area.

Stayed here to be close to the convention center, so I could run back to room for breaks between events. It’s super convenient for that, but there are not many food options close by which made it tricky. The hotel restaurants have limited hours and are not quite enough for group professional dinners. They only have coffee machines, no real coffee shop. Breakfast looked ok, but a bit pricey and didn’t work with schedule to attend conference stuff. Overall a nice place, but would stay closer to restaurants and other amenities in downtown next time.

Wonderful staff. Originally a 2 night stay, we encountered some car trouble on our way in and couldn’t check in on time. They held the room and reservation for us without any trouble. Great views and floor to ceiling windows. Smaller on the bedroom and bathroom side of things in our case, but both were updated to feel otherwise.

Overall, I had a good stay. I think the only negative opinion I had was regarding the gym. It is somewhat lacking in machines, excluding bike, ellipticals and treadmills. But I also understand the limited space.

Very upscale hotel and room had a beautiful view of the Detroit River. Front desk allowed me to check-in early so that was nice of them. Housekeeping didn't clean on the weekend and I was told it was standard practice to save on resources. While I understand that and didn't need daily housekeeping, it would've been better if I was told that in advance (or if the room had a sign / card indicating that).

Rooftop bar is also very nice and there's also a decent sized pool and gym in the basement.

We skipped the breakfast buffet because at $18.99 a person - including kids, it was too much money. I had picked this hotel based on pool reviews. However, the main pool was cold, and the air temperature in the pool room was cool. The jets in the hot tub did not bubble to the surface, and it was not hot enough for a typical hot tub.

Thermostat didn’t work so room was warm the entire night with no fans available from the front desk. Was offered diff rooms once we were already unpacked and ready for bed.

Would have been nice to get the buffet included or discounted being a hotel guest too.

Check in at 3pm and had to wait till 6pm before a room was ready. Staff at front desk was not helpful. Was lied to. Was told I could get a refund at check out for inconvenience. When checking out I was told all they could do is validate parking. Extremely disappointed, Not only did we have to wait for a room but about 30 other people had to wait for their rooms. This hotel is clearly not ran well. Valet was mess a too. Waited 20 min for our vehicle to be pulled up.

Even tho we did the pre check in as requested by the hotel. When we arrived we stood in like for over 25 minutes just to check in. To then find out we would been put in a que to be called when our room was ready. This was well after 5PM when we came to check in and our room wasn’t ready. So we waited for our call then having to wait inline again for over 15 min to finally check in. We were so rushed we almost missed our event. Overall the room was fine. But not amazing for the price we paid. Bathroom was not cleaned properly when arrived. Bottom of the shower was slimy. Staff upon check out was not very knowledgeable and very short with us while asking question.

Went to check in at 6pm after a long day of traveling to be notified that my room was not ready, they said they will text me in 15 min , 45 min goes by and I go back down to the check in desk and they said the room I originally booked and payed for 2 months in advance was no longer available. Very disappointing. Pool & hot tub is very small overloaded with chemicals you can smell walking down the street from the outing the building.Would not recommend.

Stay was great overall. Room was clean with good view of the Detroit river. Only two small issues. First, there were no towels in the room after checkin, but staff brought them immediately upon call to lobby. Second, at check-in, was delayed approximately thirty minutes as room was not ready but hotel management did comp valet parking fees to offset inconvenience.

Restaurant service was terrible. We waited over 25 min for just menus and first contact with any server. They never came so we left and so did several other parties. We had to get dinner down the street.
We had no hot water Saturday morning for showers. The water was fixed on Sunday but the tub drain was not working.

There was a glitch while booking online. I immediately contacted the hotel and was told it was the booking companies problem, the booking company told me it was the hotels problem. At one point I was told a manager would contact me...never happened.

Was offered a late checkout, when I accepted that offer, literally 1 minute later, I was informed that offer was not available. THEN WHY MAKE THE OFFER? Arrived, at 3:30pm, to a full lobby of obviously frustrated people. Was asked if I had received a phone call from the property, I had not. Was then informed that rooms were not ready. This is after I unloaded my car and brought all my stuff in. I'd have gladly driven around and seen some sights if someone would have informed me.
I'll never stay here again.

My room was a little worn. One of the electric vertical window blinds did not function properly. The food in the bar (Urban Center) was pricy and not very good. The service in the UC bar was great one night and terrible the next night. My overall experience was just ok. I would recommend this hotel with some hesitation.

The hotel lobby was beautiful and had great amenities. The kids loved that they had complimentary donuts and apple cider set out during check-in hours. The room was clean and our floor had been renovated, however the washroom floors were old and not re-done, which would have made it feel cleaner. The food in the restaurant was ok. They had a dinner buffet with enough options for the kids, however the à la cart menu lacked any attractive healthy options. Our room was serviced by housekeeping daily and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is also directly across from the convention center and there is a Starbucks nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous stay, room was super with a great view looking across the Detroit River to Canada. It also availed us to 2 Super Sunrises.
Staff was Awesome, big shout out to Lisa, Tommy, Anand,
and a host of others.
Really enjoyed the Breakfast Bar.
Hotel also made for an easy to the Detroit Opera House for Phantom Of The Opera.

Best experience in Detroit ever.
Spotless clean room, great shower, good bed, amazing view, super close to my destination.
