The room was spectacular - I stayed in the Parlor room on the 12th floor. I had a view of Comerica Park and Ford Field. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the restaurants were all amazing (I visited all three). I would highly recommend this hotel! The only downside is there was not a fridge in my room, but it was not advertised that there was one. Just keep this is mind.

This hotel was beautiful! The location was perfect! We stayed on the 12 floor and were even able to watch the fireworks on a Friday night from the Tigers game! The staff were all kind and helpful. I will be staying here again!

The hotel was darling! Staff was kind and accomodating. The amenities are on point. 2 bars, a breakfast/lunch cafe, and a small plates restaurant are all site. There is even a swanky barbershop next door to the hotel. It is centrally located to get anywhere you need to go with ease.

The Hotel is an older hotel but it is in great condition. We found it to be charming, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, i have no complaints. I would stay here again. My only complaint was the lighting in the halls was dark.

The theming, staff, bars, coffee/breakfast area were all top notch. The room was unique, there is a spiral staircase with a small room on the second floor of the room where the bed is. The theming really is impressive, every detail is unique from the couches, to the lamps and lights/ambiance. The building is older and the elevator is kinda slow but it somewhat adds to the experience. I would stay here again.

Building and rooms are beautiful, unique spaces. Room was supposed to be ready at 3, but was not available until 4:30, which set us a little behind in our plans. Thin walls; could hear people coming into their rooms at 2 and 3am.

Rooms were exactly as advertised. High ceilings and tastefully styled. While the room is a touch small, it was al that was needed and the bathroom was a good size.
Each staff member was super friendly and the breakfast cafe was great to have down stairs. Later in the day the cocktail lounge was really nice and was very vibrant. Finally location was perfect for enjoying down town and sports games. Highly recommend!

The Siren is well-located, close to downtown Detroit shopping, entertainment and sporting venues. The Candy Bar serves great cocktails and Chenin Kitchen/bar is so popular it is difficult to get in, but borders on claustrophobic in size/circulation. Very nice breakfast and coffee bar and very helpful staff. Slightly dated boutique decor in bedrooms but very comfortable and clean bed and bathroom.

Siren Hotel is a really cute, dog-friendly hotel that has a unique feel to it. I really like the vibe of it, the room is very clean but it is small. They were flexible with check-out being pushed an hour later, which I appreciate. I love Chenin, the wine bar attached.

The valet parking is outrageously expensive though for Detroit $55/night. It feels very overpriced. This is the primary reason why I gave it 4 stars over 5.

I have stayed at The Siren several times over the years, and I always have an enjoyable time. It's in a prime location in downtown Detroit, hospitable, stylish, and overall just a wonderful time. The valet service really is a requirement; downtown gets too busy on the weekends to park on your own unless you don't mind a bit of a walk. I do wish the rooms had a bit *more* to them, especially as The Siren did away with one of their restaurants to make way for an event space. We had a basic room and it was truly just a bed and cushioned benches for seats. We really didn't need the room for more than sleeping, but it would have been nice to have more comfortable chairs and/or a table. The shower though made up for it - the waterfall showerhead is a phenomenal touch. The signature scent is one I always look forward to as well. Overall, my favorite stay in Detroit!

When we got there the lobby was packed. It’s very small and crowded.
The room didn’t have a fridge or safe. The room also didn’t have good blinds to cover the lights that come into the window. At 1am it felt like it was 10 am because the room was so bright

Parking is easy, right across the small intersection in the Detroit Opera House garage. About $35 compared to $50 valet for hotel. Hotel is tall and thin- very unique and intimate experience. Charming designs and decor. Coffee bar that serves goodies was closing upon our arrival (hours are around 6am to 4pm). Very small lounge- again, intimate, serving alcohol- no candy, lol (called the Candy Bar). Dark and cozy, very friendly staff all around. Check in was super easy and quick and they answer all questions well. Security is nice- can only access the floor you are staying on and main floor. Pool access is tricky- it's a shared agreement with the Y across the street and the pool closed at 4 or 5 the day we checked in and didn't reopen until the next morning for about two hours before checkout. So just keep that in mind if you have kids who want to use the pool- the hours and the fact that it's not in the same building. Room we had was double bed- small room with a really cool bathroom that was half the size of the room! The shower layout, design and decoration was unique and very cool. The windows overlook the city architecture and lights- very cool city experience. The food lounge- Chenin, is very small also- about the size of a large supply closet! But super cute and cozy, giving a truly intimate experience to the patrons. Everyone was very friendly and it is a very nice experience overall! Cozy and hip!

The hotel is extremely expensive I paid 400 then I added amenities flowers champagne and made it 500 before deposit. No food voucher no meals no pool nothing comes with you $400 room nothing at all absolutely a rip off 100 percent not happy but the staff was incredible they where awesome valet too the human experience is awesome. You just don't get what you pay for at any other establishment for that price

Very dark hallway and room. Broken lamp on the table. Plus is big towel, bathrobe which I did not use. For sure no water sprinkler is the old code, old building. The parking information was not clear. I was told different information. Chicago parking where I am from is a lot more. Just tell honestly how much. It is understandable. My door key is not working so many times.

This hotel has such a fun vintage vibe, staff is incredibly friendly, location is a perfect downtown location that makes most of the city feel very accessible and the valet parking is very efficient with very friendly staff. The onsite coffee shop makes great drinks and is very convenient. Amenities in the rooms are pretty bare bones so that is the only negative I found. I would definitely stay here again.

The Look and Feel of The Siren is so different then other hotels we have been to. It was a great experience to stay and enjoy Downtown Detroit and feel immersed into what makes Detroit Detroit. The cafe offerings tasted great. If we had more time we would have visited the Candy Bar (Jazz Bar) or the wine room (Snacks and Wine). But no complaints after our stay. Staff was super friendly at check in. Valet service - while expensive - was accommodating in figuring out how to pay without a phone number (as the app expects a phone number)

The hotel had a unique architecture and style. My husband said he felt like we were in an old James Bond movie. Our room was on the smaller side, but perfect for just the 2 of us. Great views of the city. Super close to Comerica, Ford Field and a short walk to Little Caesars(we were there for a Pistons game). My only complaint would be needing more hooks in the bathroom for towels and maybe a larger area or a bar instead of hooks to hang up clothing. Every staff we ran into- from the valet to the bartenders to the housekeepers were very professional and kind.

Neat little hotel in the heart of downtown Detroit. We stayed after visiting the opera house. Our room was tiny but quite nice. The bathroom was my favorite part. Nice shower, soaps smell amazing. The coffee stand was a nice touch, and the fresh flowers were GORG. I loved seeing glimpses of the old Wurlitzer Building that the designers left in tact. One major negative for me—the mood was very dark. The hallways and stairwells were scary to the point I didn’t feel safe. I was afraid either I was going to trip and fall or get abducted. We had to come back because one of my daughters left her phone. The staff was very helpful in finding it for us. But we went down to the basement to use the restroom while we were there and it was so dark I literally couldn’t see the steps.

Very eclectic setting. Loved the vibe. Front desk check-in was quick and staff were very nice. They were the only staff we dealt with. Came off the elevator and carpet was dirty with debris. Room was very quiet and we were close to the elevator. Room seemed clean but worn. Tv was in a terrible spot and needs to be moved. Bathroom was so cool and very spacious! Temperature of the room was comfortable. Bed and pillows were perfect for us. All in all 4 stars.

We attended a show at the Filmore, so location was perfect for walking distance and close to some good restaurants. The inside of the hotel was beautiful decorated and staff was friendly. The room was clean but you could tell where updates were made (dry wall not painted the same). Overall, happy with our stay!

Swanky boutique hotel in downtown Detroit. Easy walking to restaurants, shopping, entertainment. A short drive to the museum.

My only complaint would be that maybe they need to tie a baggie full of white vinegar or CLR to those shower heads, because ours had several blocked holes, leaving me standing there, rinsing, rinsing, rinsing, rinsing.

Improving would be with the staff. Late check out requested after the first knock on my door. I verified the staff would be told so I had extra time. Unfortunately, staff NOT told which lead to 2 additional very LOUD, “get out of here NOW style knocks.” Complained to staff about the rudeness of this only to be disregarded and charged a ridiculous fee for late check out. Cute place on the smaller side. But rudeness, after you pay extra, is not acceptable.

Perfect spot for a downtown Detroit stay. Walkable to most bars and restaurants even though the wine bar, Chenin, and cocktail bar, Candy Bar, located inside were among our favorites of the stay. Rooms were clean and the hotel itself has a beautiful aesthetic.
