It’s a convenient place to stay. Property needs some improvements. Daytime staff is great. Evening staff well they could use some improvement. While our room appeared clean when I pulled the blanket back to go to bed it was obvious our sheets had not been changed from previous guest. I had to fetch sheets and changed the bedding myself. They gave me a $40 credit for my troubles in the morning 🙄

We recently stayed here and I have to say, the staff were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating people. Their hospitality really stood out and made us feel welcomed.
We booked a suite, and while the layout and idea of the room were great, there were a few things that left us disappointed. The room itself could use some extra attention to cleanliness and maintenance. The carpet left our feet dirty, and we noticed stains (very yellow) on the pillows and mattress (thankfully, we had brought our own pillows). There was also a large gap under the exterior door, which allowed rainwater to come inside and soak the floor during our stay.
For safety, the sliding glass door to the balcony didn’t lock, which worried us since we had our little one with us. The safety latch on the main door was also close to broken.
Overall, the staff were truly excellent, but the suite itself needs some refreshing and a little extra care to match the warm service. With some updates, this place could be amazing.

I have a video of flooding conditions of bathroom ceiling. We couldn’t use the bathroom. The sofa bed was horrible with feeling spring , phone was not working, no hangers, one basin , laundry room has no lights and from desk has no coin, the bathroom faucet was loose. Sands were all over place.

Went away for a quick weekend. You will get what you pay for here. Lady at the desk had an attitude problem at check in and the second day when I went to ask where they kept the ice. Property has no smoking signs up all over but people smoke constantly. First night we had kids banging on our door and running away up to almost 11 at night. Went to the desk to say something and there was no one anywhere there to be found. Beds are like sleeping on a concrete floor. Showers have no water pressure. I had to fix our showerhead and faucet in the tub because both were loose to the point where they were coming off. Hallways were dirty. Hotel was dirty in general. Only positive was our balcony with a partial ocean view. Just don't book with high expectations as you will be disappointed and the attitude problem at the desk capped it. They know they have issues here, they just aren't interested in fixing them. We go to OCMD yearly and we won't be back here and definitely will not recommend it to anyone.

The best part about this hotel is the location!!! Right above Crabcake Factory and a very short walk to the beach. Floor was sandy from the moment we checked in, but is that avoidable? Bathroom was clean but very small. Trash bags left outside kinda made it smell but maybe that was just our neighbors...?

They took so long to give me the room, the room was supposed to be delivered at 4 and when I arrived it was not ready, they gave it to me until 6, the room was small nothing compared to the photos, just like the pool, the photos are not what they seem.

They refused to clean to the room, and we're lucky we even got fresh towels. Getting them to change the sheets was nothing short of a minor miracle, and the only reason we didn't run out of soap was because we took some extras from the housekeeping cart (we asked for them several times and- shockingly- never received them). Location is great, but the staff are somewhat rude and generally unhelpful. Find another place to stay.

The rooms are large and clean. We have three young kids ages all under 9 so the pool was perfect. I liked the fact that we could park the car when we checked in and walk everywhere. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, convenience stores. The free breakfast was an added bonus. Nothing fancy just quick options muffins,bagels,breakfast bars,fruit. Most importantly there was coffee! The walk to the beach was short. Would definitely stay here again.

When we checked in, we noticed that the beds were slightly dirty… a few hairs a grain of sand here or there. Every time I check into a room I peel back the sheets and search the room for signs of bedbugs before even bringing my bags up to the room. When I did this, I found that the space between the top sheet and the mattress cover was quite dirty a good amount of sand and dirt and lots of hair. I went to the front desk and explain the situation and the Desk clerk offered to have somebody come switch it all out right away and clean the beds. We agreed. I did have to call a second time as they did not come up right away. It was over 25 minutes. When they took the mattress cover off the second bed, the mattress showed a huge stain. The person cleaning pointed out the stain about the same time that I noticed it. He immediately offered us another room. I looked closely at the stain and then smelled it, and it turned out to be what we believe was just juice. The room was a little bit rundown and I was so focused on the bed so I didn’t notice that the bathroom walls were dirty, particularly in the area right behind where the door opens so it’s somewhat that a cleaner could miss it. The hotel‘s policy of only cleaning every few days is definitely coming back to bite them. The air conditioner was dusty and the filter on it definitely needed changed or cleaned. The safety door latch was coming unscrewed. The price view and location were great and the staff was friendly.

A stained pillow case, stained towel and the shower curtain was not changed. I have pictures of it all. The amount of people outside at night partying was unacceptable after 10pm.

The ONLY highlight of this hotel was the view of the ocean from our balcony. Our room was dusty, the bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in awhile, stains on the towels and blanket and long hairs found in one of the beds. The phone in our room did not work, and we had to unplug the clock because it was making a weird static like noise throughout the night. We had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper since daily service of our room was nonexistent. When we asked at the front desk, one employee told us that there should be someone cleaning the room every day, yet another employee said we only get service if we request it. The street noise during the night was unbearable and kept us all up. The sound of trucks and motorcycles racing up the street was so loud that it felt like we were camping outside. One night around 2:45 a.m., we heard 6 gunshots outside (also heard by guests next door to us.). The beds were extremely uncomfortable and felt like we were sleeping on the floor. We did NOT feel safe at this hotel at all. We would NEVER stay here again and would NOT recommend this property to anyone.

Hotel needs an upgrade and a really good top to bottom clean. The main door had many cracks and didnt lock properly as well as the linen was never changed and it was very hard to get extra towels as they normally had a wait time. Parking was very limited at times resulting in having to walk through the smoking area to get to the room and the smell of weed was awful. I dont recommend this hotel.

All but one of my bath towels had other people's hair embedded in it going in and out and conveniently folded inwards to hide it. One was a red head, one was darker blonde light brown and third was a darker brown hair. Gross. I said something to the front but only thing was \"so you want more towels?\" No. I'll just use mine. Who knows what else is there. But more of an actual apology and some type of action, not a what you want me to do type response.

The price was great for a convenient location to the beaches, stores, events and others. Very simple hotel that had basic things, small pool, little gym and arcade. The free breakfast was basic bagels, coffee, juice, muffins and fruits. The rooms are comfortable with great air conditioning, clean and simple set up. I would go back, we were out most of the day and this worked out great.

Rooms were ok... basic and what we needed. Breakfast was decent and enough. Beach chairs provided was a great touch we didnt realize ahead of tjme. Only major complaint is the dirtiness of the floors. Our feet were black from walking in our room. Definitely didn't seem like they'd been mopped or cleaned at all. Used towels to walk on and they turned black as well. No exaggeration.

The beds were comfortable. It was an Ocean View. We did not know they only replaced towels every 3 days. They actually asked, \"Do you shower every day?\" Yes, we shower every day. 4 women allowed 2 poor quality rolls of toilet paper for 4 days, 3 nights. One small bag of ice per day. Breakfast was bagels, muffins, bananas, apples, juice and coffee. Beds and linens only made every 4 days. Trash removal once in 4 days. AC worked fine. Exhaust fan in bathroom filtered in marijuana smoke and filled the room with this obnoxious odor. Some employees were so kind and others were very rude. The towels we were to keep for 3 days when we did not know this, were taken from the room when we begged for clean ones but fresh ones were not replaced. Then we had none. Hair sticking to the bathroom walls, but the shower was clean. Take your own toiletries. Coffee packs for the room were 2 decaf and 2 regular for a one cup coffee maker. None were replaced. The room was clean and updated. Parking was ample. Luggage carts were like trying to man-handle unruly toddlers with a mind of their own. The pool was nice and refreshing. We used that to clean off sand since we didn't have towels. Fireworks in the park every Sunday, which we could see from the balcony. Elevator worked well but no air flow or fan, so it was suffocating to use. The beach area was great so the ocean in this area was fabulous. I would go to this area of the beach again but never to this hotel.

We stayed last year in a non suite room and it was much more comfortable than the suite we had this year. The room was not clean and it was very moist in the room. I would recommend Coastal Palm because it’s affordable and soooo close to the beach.

This property is terrible. The cleaning staff has been fired multiple times according to the feont desk. The property is dirty and the rooms are the same. Mold in the bathroom, geitty floors, previous stays trash still in the room. If you get city side, pack ear plugs because the noise is nonstop. The beds are hard as rocks. The frontdesk doesn't really care what your complaints are. They brush you aside and say they can't help you. Stay anywhere else but coastal palms.

The hotel room was clean. The bathroom was smaller than we are used to but Lee managed. The elevator is very very slow and there was only one luggage cart for everyone to use however they said they were getting in six new carts the day we were leaving. I thought they had a free hot breakfast but it was a grab and go breakfast with muffins, Bagels, juice and coffee. Overall the stay was good. The beach was close by the hotel.
