Lobby Bathroom was always open and unpleasant smell
AC was very loud, we put cardboard on vent cover to lower noise

Floor was soaking wet. we took our shoes off and seemed like carpet was just cleaned, smelled like dog and damp carpet.
(we had to wear shoes the whole time, even in the middle of the night when going to the rest room.)

Slider broken or off the track, hard to open and close
Railing outside on the deck is loose, very dangerous we were on the 4th floor.
Shower divertor is very loud while showering.
Toilet seat too small for toilet and loose
Not sheets or blankets for pullout.
the person at the front desk told me on the first night of our stay that he could not move us, offered no other suggestions other than to say come back tomorrow and ask. no help at all.
Very disappointed. We paid alot of money for the room.

We enjoyed our stay there. It was clean and everyone was very helpful. We stay at a lot of places and I really feel like we got value out of staying here. There is a cafe, a hot tub, two pools and even parakeets. I definitely feel the price is worth it.

An older building, bathroom was moldy. There was a moldy shower chair left in shower- it was gross. I placed it in the hall & it stayed there our entire stay. A pull out bed was provided but had to ask for a blanket which looked like an ancient curtain!

The Atrium is a plus for this hotel. We enjoyed the exotic birds so much. Will miss Kuwi. We had a little bit of a bond ❤️💚
The ocean view was spectacular.

The staff were all helpful and friendly. The property needs severe updating. There’s peeling paint (at least in our room and in the pool area), a few things throughout the room were falling apart (cracks in the walls and light switches), the air conditioning did not work properly, the bathroom was not clean, and the kitchen stove was falling apart. Overall, we would not stay here again.

We took a room in the 4th floor and the thermostat was busted. We informed the front desk and they did send over the maintenance person who said that they cannot fix it and the AC kept on running at max cooling and had to get up in the middle of the night to manually turn off and then on

I arrived a few hours before check-in and was pleasantly surprised when the staff allowed me to preregister and park in the hotel lot without any additional fees. This gave me ample time to gather my belongings and enjoy the beautiful ocean and beachfront. Within less than an hour, I received a call from the hotel manager informing me that my room was ready.
I was traveling with young children and the staff was very accommodating. Their level of professionalism was exceptional.

This is one of our go to’s in OC. We are always pleased with everything. This time around we got a room where the AC was not working at its full potential. We spent 2 nights but reported the bad AC after the 1st night and we were given a fan which is fine I guess as a quick solution but the AC unit really needs to be fixed. We barely slept the 2 nights we were there due to the heat and high humidity. I don’t think this is a common thing at this hotel as they are very much on top of everything but it was a bummer and somewhat disappointing. Overall I’ll give them 4 stars.

Front desk staff was very kind. Easy check in and out. It’s a great place to stay for multiple days. The AC can be loud, but we don’t mind the noise. The hotel can be a little noisy too. Just everyone hustle and bustling. The kids screaming at the pool. Again, we don’t mind. More of a warning to people who maybe looking for a quieter place. We come every year and we will return next!

The location is perfect. We had an ocean front room on the 4th floor. Beautiful view. I love all of the birds, koi fish, turtles and the bearded dragon in the atrium. The atrium cafe was perfect to grab some breakfast at before hitting up the beach. The room was nice and spacious. I was pleased that we had a kitchenette. Maid service was great and we had clean towels & emptied trash cans each day. The front desk was responsive with any concerns we had. Areas that need improvement: the triangle shaped luggage carts are absolutely terrible and need to be replaced ASAP. The indoor pool was nice, but it was so cold that we couldn’t stay in for too long. (The hot tubs were fabulous). The cable went out for multiple days during our stay, so we had no tv at all! The front desk did not offer any compensation at all. The elevator is slow and there should be 2 for this property.

The staff were excellent; very helpful, responsive, and friendly. You’re paying for the location, seconds from the beach. The facility itself is run down, lots of rust, dirty curtains, and faded old toilet seats as examples. To top it off, the air conditioning gauge did not work freezing us out over night. The rooms need a full update and refresh.

The staff was fairly friendly however they do not enforce non-smoking rules in the aging hotel. We were not able to keep our door open to enjoy the ocean air due to all the marijuana and cigarette smoke from rooms. People literally just throwing their trash over the balcony with the butt ends of “whatever” they were smoking. We complained but they never got the guests to conform to the rules. The yard maintenance guy just picking up a 5 gallon bucket full of it. Police there on our last day to deal with other guests which honestly was happening at a lot of places over the week we were there. The best thing about the place was the proximity to everything and the small snack/bar and employees. They could cure a lot of the problems there with minimal security cameras and huge fines for smoking in rooms and throwing garbage off your balcony. We wanted a budget hotel and we certainly got that. Will be the last time at this property.

First time at this hotel and we were unexpectedly surprised. We will definitely be back. Great location away from the crowds on the boardwalk but still close enough to enjoy. Just a 10 mins drive. Also have a supermarket and dollar store down the street for any last minute items.

The hotel had a tropical theme including live birds. The staff was professional and helpful. They did initially give us the wrong room but quickly corrected the problem. The staff promoted a friendly attitude and the guests picked on it. They provided terrific service. Their pools were kept clean and it was easy access to the beach.

Nice access to the beach, kitchenette was also wonderful to have to save money on eating out. Overall the property is an outdated and could use some remodeling. Our oceanfront room was on the second floor and our view was of the sand dune. Couldn’t see the beach from the balcony. I would probably try another hotel next time. The price per night was very high considering the look of the property and the lack of view for an oceanfront room. If you do choose to stay, make sure your room is on the third floor and above.

The pool was nice. Full sun most of the day. Only real downfall was the bag of dirty linens left outside our room for 2 days. We asked for clean towels which we got but then the dirty ones were left in the corner. Ocean City Boardwalk was a great time

Older hotel. Would be gorgeous w/ some remodeling. We paid more for a room with kitchen. However, no table to eat at. Room was big, tv was on the smaller side. Outdated bathroom. Toilet was perfect for children but way too small for adults. Bring your own coffee maker. They only have a single serve w/ pods. Coffee is available on the first floor. Not brewed, but pretty good. Gorgeous beach view from our room. Elevator available. Here’s where I have issues…Anyone could & do walk onto the grounds & enter the pool. No security whatsoever. Teens were everywhere. Entered from the street. Same for the lobby..Kids coming in, using the indoor pool & walking out to the beach. We saw them daily doing this. The restaurant is small. Food was good & you can take to your room. Big birds in cages were cool. Loud at times. We would stay again since the price was reasonable. Parking was tricky & definitely needs more lighting. They basically need a security booth to enter the grounds. Would feel a lot after.

The first room had a floor that is slanted and caves in. The gym is nothing like the photos. The room looks nothing like the photos either. The air conditioner does not work and the room is HOT. This is a total disappointment and I want my money back. Pool was definitely not temperature controlled. The 2nd room was decent. Had to get my room changed because of how bad it was. Staff was great about trying to fix my stay which I appreciate. Under sink cabinet was broken which maintenance never came and fixed like they said.

My 1st choice for staying in ocean city and has been for many years. Everyone is always so friendly. It's always clean and well maintained. The birds are so fun to watch and visit with. Not on the boardwalk but definitely close to shops and food that you don't even need the boardwalk. You have a bar for great tasting drinks. We had a family of 5 and the room was perfect for us with 2 queens a pull-out sofa and KITCHEN!! Big plus they provide silverware & plates (set for 4) and pots and pans and a dishwasher for easy cleaning. THANKS AGAIN QUALITY INN FOR AN AMAZING STAY!!!

This place is really great! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. What really stood out to us was the tropical animals in the Atrium area. That is such a unique touch and honestly one of the main things that made this place memorable for our family.

The entire property was very well kept, clean, and family friendly. The indoor pool was a nice size, and my kids had a great time swimming. The arcade/game room was also a fun addition. The only downside was the pricing for the arcade games. We originally thought it would be complimentary, so it was a little disappointing to realize it was an additional cost. Even knowing that, it still felt a bit pricey, especially for families with multiple children since the cost adds up quickly if all the kids want to play.

The ocean view was beautiful, but I honestly can’t imagine the view being nearly as nice from a lower floor. If the ocean view matters to you, I would definitely recommend requesting at least a 5th-floor room.

Overall, we had a really great stay and would absolutely recommend this place to others!

This hotel has a true beachfront location with first floor rooms you can walk out of on to the beach. We loved that feature. We slept with the door open to hear the ocean waves. It was great! The location is central, providing acces to the boardwalk side and to the many businesses to the north. The staff were all friendly and professional. They provide all day coffee and tea. Food is for sale in the Atrium Cafe. We liked the food and found it reasonably priced.

We enjoyed our ocean front balcony. The bathrooms need updating, especially the tubs. Rust and mold showing. Beds were very comfortable and liked having a full kitchen. Pools were nice. The hose was left in the indoor pool running and began overflowing. Staff that night at the front desk didn't care. We spoke to the manager, Randy Miller, the next morning and he was wonderful. He went above and beyond for a few issues and we are so grateful! Enjoyed fresh coffee all throughout the day.
The atrium is beautiful and interacting with all the birds was a special treat.
Definitely recommend this hotel. If there are any issues with the room, Definitely talk to Randy.

Pius - Oceanfront rooms at a GR8 price. Full kitchen, outside deck with a couple of chairs & table. Big, nice sitting area with sofa & chair. Nice, small restaurant & bar on-site, breakfast, lunch & dinner served. EZ beach access.
Neg - Could have been cleaner, carpets, undersink cabinets. Bathroom was clean. On the weekend very noisy with lots of kids screaming, exotic birds screeching. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful beach getaway, skip the weekends.
If you are a family highly recommend as they have a huge indoor atrium with exotic animals, pool & hot tubs to keep the kids busy, especially if the weather keeps you indoors. My wife & I will come back, just not on a weekend.
