All the staff were very nice and helpful! Breakfast was mediocre, 6-9am. and same thing everyday... Well done scrambled eggs, dry sausage links, and tasteless home fries. However, they did at least have a waffle maker. The Ocean 13 restaurant that's attached to the hotel did have delicious food, great Happy Hour menu, and Power Hour at bar and top notch service though! Keep in mind that the Casino shuttle only is available during peak season after Memorial Day! Also the boardwalk doesn't start until 8th. Street and hotel is located on 32nd. So you basically have to drive there, unless your walkers!

We did not stay it had a really bad smell the manager told us they allow animals to stay there we didn’t know that our son is allergic to dogs and has really bad allergies and asthma so we didn’t even go to the room we went to get another room now we have to fight to get our money back and we got the insurance just in case something would happen

The room was spacious and clean. But we were charged $17 at the front desk when the booking was done through Expedia and specified the taxes and fees were paid up. The TV in the room was a Black screen for 80% of the time we used it (satellite?). And the toilet handle flushed but was very loose as if the grommets were broken. Other than that the stay was nice

Was in town for a music festival and the room price was very high and not a value for the accommodations. Internet was spotty. We could hear through the walls and in hallway. We were near the restaurant and hall smelled like garbage. Overall the hotel is dated.

Perfect place to stay for balcony viewing during Ocean City bike week! Very short walk to the beach! Convenient, cool, clean, garage parking! Oceans 13 restaurant in hotel. Delicious food, drinks and great service! Pet friendly for both dogs and cats! However was very unimpressed with continental breakfast. It was exactly the same everyday. Not all that great when you're staying for a week!

1bed was dirty. Light in bathroom didn't work. Patio door wouldn't shut or lock. No kleenex 2 towels. Ants everywhere. Ask for towels and coffee had to go and get it. Hallway was dirty and smelly. Dog barked all night. Paint was peeling and not finished. On a good note there was covered parking and easy to get to and out of. Walking distance to shops and food.

This property is dirty, we checked in on Monday, the hallway never vacuum ed left today still not vacuumed. Dirty shirt from another guest left behind the chair in room 102, reported it, the shirt was still there. Spoke to the manager, she looked at me like i was crazy.Her name was Gabby.Stay at your own risk, no chairs on the patio, told to take the one from the room,well there was two of us! This is the worst hotel to stay at ohhh, yes, there are more dogs in the hotel than people.

We needed to move rooms after we had unpacked. The air conditioning was not working. A maintenance worker worked on it for over an hour then we asked to change rooms. The doors to the roons stick terribly, I could hardly open them without my husband's help. The nicest part was how close it was to the beach. Also, see photos below, looks like they fixed a leak but never painted., and spots on floor buckled and bubbled from likely water damage.Will not stay there again.

Location was fantastic and the beds were super comfortable. The room and overall property was unfinished (loads of spackle and unpainted ceilings, walls, etc) and a bit dated. Loads of humidity in rooms and lobby

I was disappointed in my last stay. Elevator and carpets were not that clean. Considering this is pet friendly they need to keep up on the smell and facility especially when everyone pays a non refundable pet fee.

I checked in at 4 but got there a little before and was told the room wasn't ready. Yet. When I went back in they said the room was ready. The room they gave me was under renovation and had a hole in the ceiling and the paint job was not completed. I went downstairs and said I am not staying in that room and theanager on duty said unfortunately all rooms are sold out. I was one of the first to check in so how was I the unfortunate one. Long story short, I demanded a new room and they gave me one. That will be my last time staying there unless they clean thoroughly and renovate.

Overall our stay was okay for what we needed, sleep and shower. The hallways smelled like wet dogs I mean they are pet friendly but we don’t need to smell like it. Complimentary breakfast was very basic. Just waffles, sausage, microwave potatoes, dry cereal, pastries. No hot cereal or healthy options so if you have dietary restrictions don’t bother going for breakfast. We have stayed at other LaQuinta’s that offered a little more but this we were disappointed with this location.

The property was close to the beach which was a plus. Being pet friendly was a plus. Room was okay but we wouldn’t stay here again. The front desk said the rooms were ready but wanted to charge us $40 per room because it was 3pm vs 4pm. Really, they why say the rooms were ready!! We had two bookings with 3 rooms in our reservations. We relented and paid one $40 fee only because we wanted to unload our cars and get our trip started. There also wasn’t enough parking spaces and we had to park elsewhere which in Ocean City is not any easy task when the hotel say they have ample parking for their guests.

We were very unhappy with the cleanliness of the hotel. The pool area had trash on the ground and spilled drinks. There was sand in our room as soon as we checked in (floor and seats). When we put a towel on the bathroom floor to step on after a shower the towel was black from dirt.

Rooms where run down dirty and what service they never cleaned our room . The first initial room that was given to us was dirty and run down and the second room given to us the bathtub stopped up with guck and hair from previous guest very disgusting and had to wait for a Plumer for a whole day because there is no staff on duty to address these kinds of issues on call. Save your money and headache and stay at the Residece in by Marriott you’ll definitely get what you pay for and you won’t be disappointed trust me . The hell with that dump !

There was nothing unique about the property..
We will not stay there again and we will not recommend this place to any of our friends. The staff was very unfriendly, except for the manager Gabby. The rooms were okay. We had a balcony,come to find out all the chairs were removed, so we couldn't sit on our balcony and enjoy our city view.On the internet was supposed to be a partial ocean view. The continental breakfast,was not very appealing or inviting. We chose to pass on that for obvious reasons. We wanted to enjoy the beach for a couple hours before leaving. Since checkout, time was 11 o'clock. When trying to enter our room at 1030, we were locked out. when asked the front desk Why? She said, it automatically locks you out at 10:30. When inquiring, why that is, the response that I receive is that's the way it is.

AC did not work properly in 90 degree heat. At least 10 electronic games each with their own music blaring 7 doors down form guest rooms demanded to be turned off as no one could sleep with the carnival of music. These machines should be turned off at 9 p.m. every night at the latest. The pool closed in the early evening...why not these machines? There was no maid service. For the money, and my expectations of la Quinta, we--my staff and I--expected better.

Unsure why no one has been upfront about the resort fee, which I got charged after my stay, when I thought Expedia had totaled everything. The cost of the stay versus the overall experience was very unsatisfactory based on the cleanliness, the odor, the willingness of the front desk staff to help, and the AC not being cool enough despite its lowest thermostat setting. Definitely not coming back. This is the only La Quinta location I will not dare return to or recommend.

Expected more from a chain hotel.

Pool, and deck around pool was dirty, floor in our room was also not very clean. The bed was comfortable and appeared clean. The water pressure in the shower was also lacking, enough to shower in but that was about it. Overall could have saved a few bucks and been closer to the boardwalk with other options.

Save your money, get a cheap motel.

Our reservation and paid deposit was not transferred to hotel. So we had to pay the current rate as opposed to the locked in. The room we stayed was terribly dirty. The coffee machine had a millworm come out when I tried to brew hot water for some hot chocolate. There was a bloodstain on the curtain. Handprints on the headboard and mold on the bedsheets.

I told the front desk and they gave me a new room. It was better but felt as if the staff was not warm after. We asked for an extra towels, they gave us 1. Asked for extra trash bags, gave us 1. Breakfast was out if forks, asked an employee and she gave me 1. Each instance, my family was standing with me when I asked and each time was never asked how many I needed. Just a blank stare and turned away to return with 1 item. Ordered from the restaurant attached to hotel and they seemed confused of inconvenienced about a pick up order. $50 for 3 burgers no better than the McDonald’s across the street.
The only redeeming experiences were the location and the girl at checkout. She was super nice.

Worst stay ever.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Toilet ran all night every night. Sink was clogged. Housekeeping never once came to clean our room or exchange out sheets. It tells they do not have a good head housekeeper. High dust everywhere. Low dust too. The vents in the bathrooms were so clogged with dust it would just steam up the mirrors in and outside of the bathroom area. Hotel extremely dirty. Hallways filthy! It looked like they had never been vacuumed. The pull out beds and all furniture was disgusting and worn badly. Urine stains and burn holes from cigarettes or something throughout the furniture. We even bought new blankets from Walmart because the ones provided smelled awful. When we asked for more pillows (because the ones we had were basically the stuffing from a toddler’s old teddy bear, the staff gave us 3 mildew and mold infested pillows. Gross! The manager tried to explain why $30 more dollars was being charged to my account as a “resort fee”. Complete hogwash! A “resort fee” should be saved for hotels that run as a resort would, this place definitely does not qualify! Oh and I paid extra for a room with an ocean view. See my view of the Hilton across the street! Never again will I stay at this or any other LaQuinta Inn. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this place to my worst enemy!

The staff was very nice and pleasant and that is the only positive thing I can stay about anything in this place. 1. There is no housekeeping staff during the week so you have to go to the front desk to get anything you may need. 2. The food is absolutely disgusting on the breakfast. The potatoes are put into a microwavable container and microwaved right there in front of you and then dumped into the warmer tray. The eggs are runny. The sausage are soaked in water. There is cereal and French toast available. They do have waffles and a waffle maker. That was the only edible thing. There was no fruit available our entire stay nor yogurt. 3. The pool area was absolutely horrendous. Two days in a row the trash had never been removed empty trash containers were all over the area, clothes, shoes, etc.. 4. The floor of our room was black. I actually took towels and wet them and wiped the floor. I couldn’t even get all of the sand or black off so we continued to wear our shoes in the room the entire time. 5. We had an efficiency area which had a two burner electric stove, a mini fridge and a sink. However, there wereonly two forks and two knives, two bowls and two pots nothing else. So when you’re traveling with a family of three or four you’re better off just bringing your own supplies. There are no scrubby pads or anything to wash out the items you use.
6. I don’t think our entire hallway was vacuumed during our stay, only 1 ice maker in the entire building.
7. Gym was mostly broke

This is the third time that I’ve stayed at La Quinta.
I thought I would give it another try but I see I can’t stay here anymore. Their Wi-Fi is still garbage like it was the other two times and they really need to upgrade seeing that other people are on it at the same time
Miguel at the front desk was very nice! The others seem like they don’t know how to open up their mouth and speak clearly and smile when dealing with guest!
Also, I do understand you have a pet policy. I have a pet so I’m not against that but the hallway carpet smelled like dogs and urine. When you have that policy, your hotel should never smell like pets are there! Our room was right near someone that had a dog and he barked practically all night!

My view of the hotel was really nice staff at the front desk was wonderful so helpful but I did notice that when I asked for the room to be cleaned in the bed to be done. They did not change the sheets on the bed. They just pulled the sheets back and made the bed , I could’ve did that. When it came to the bathroom, they did not clean the tub at all. You have some water issues with the water it wouldn’t go down in the tub so it just sitting there going down slowly. They’re not good at cleaning sweeping or vacuuming in the room or in the hallway they just vacuum and whatever dirt go up against the wall that’s where it will stay.
