Our stay was April 9-12, 2026. Two Oceanfront Rooms. Pros: The room was roomy and the scenery was chef kiss! Mrs. Jeniffer is who I spoke to on the phone when I decided to book there because she promoted the hotel like she lived there! And when we arrived, she was there and she checked us in. But also went the extra mile to help me and my Mom who is disable to get our bags to the room. Which brings me to my minor cons: The luggage cart is small. It looks like Godzilla took a bite off it! lol. Our things kept falling off. We parked in the front so we pushed the carts around back to the ramp. Then hold the outside door to push the cart inside the hotel. Hold that door while you open a second door that leads to the hallway with the elevator. Whew! But we got it done. There is a small handicap lift in the lobby that we could have taken because there are 5 or six steps from the lobby to the next level where you access that second door that leads to all the rooms and elevator. I could have used it but at 8pm and a 3 hr drive, we just wanted the bed. The bathtub is high and has a shower door. So for those with mobility issues, you have to lift your leg over the tub and the sliding part for the shower door. Next time I’ll book their ADA room with oceanfront views. Last con is the mattress. It’s on a slippery platform type foundation and it feels like a futon mattress. Comfortable to sleep on but not plush for sitting or getting up from. Other than that everything was wonderful.

The Internet was not fast at all. My son could not play his VR, which was definitely a damper on the vacation. It did, however let me know that he can go a couple of days without it. The room was relatively clean, except for a couple spots on the wall that I was concerned about. One out of two of the TVs in the two bedroom work. It’s almost like the TVs take turns. I did love that the beach was so close. It felt like we walked out of our room, went down the elevator and was right on the beach. You cannot control the AC from the system that’s next to the window. Andthe bed shifts when you lay on them. I kept finding myself repositioning the bed or pulling the pillows out of the crack. The shower pressure was weak, but much expected near the beach. It also took a bit of time to get warm and wasn’t actually hot just lukewarm. Lobby is very small and intimate, but still cutely designed. Marvin the manager was very pleasant and did not mind taking time out of his day to fix any of the issues that we had. Overall pleasant day, but you get what you pay for.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was nice, fresh free coffee in the lobby, room was really cute and very clean. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Wifi was a little slow. Beach right outside is beautiful. We will stay here again, we loved it!

I was supposed to have a room with a balcony and for some reason I did not have that. We were in a handicap accessible room and the shower situation was a little bit annoying. We also had a door that would not close immediately and they could not shut the sensor off for the wheelchair access.

Room was nice but the beds were like sleeping on concrete. Lack of hot water in the bathroom was an issue. Maintenance looked into it and was able to provide some hot water but not enough for two people to take a shower and there was still no hot water to the sink. Also, the lack of water pressure in the shower made taking a shower difficult. Hotel also had an issue with providing enough ice for all guests, continuously running out. This could only be resolved by purchasing a cooler and ice from a local store. All of the staff were very nice - room was clean and the view was OUTSTANDING! Still waiting for the refund of the $100 credit card charge that was required upon check in for \"incidentals\" - there were none.

Pay attention to the little things.

The staff were very nice, it was clean, and right on the beach. But if all the little things start adding up, it gets disappointing. Television was limited to about 12 channels which the staff blamed on the dish company. The ice machine never worked the entire time we were there. Staff said it always broke. The room safe was laying on a shelf next to the refrigerator but was not mounted. You could walk out of the room with it. It was the size of a brief case and pretty useless if not mounted. The shelf in the shower was broke so we had to put the soap and shampoo on the floor. Just overall disappointing.

in the 45 years of traveling and staying in hotels I have never been charged for parking. SeaLoft charges $20 per night! I parked elsewhere...the sheet were used and I found tiny bugs...the shampoo made my hair feel like I washed it with carnuba wax. At 8:30 a maid walked into my room without knocking! Lovely beach hotel

I had a great time staying here. The room layout was perfect for a friend trip. There was plenty of room to move around and do your own thing without being on top of anyone else. We had a room facing the ocean and it was just incredible. The staff was so helpful and attentive! I would stay here again but there were a couple things that need updating. Control of the lighting was kind of wonky. I had to stand on a chair to reach a light switch 7ft off the ground. The bottom of the bathroom shelf broke when I was showering.

The evening front desk staff was inattentive, difficult to understand charges at check-in (could not explain charges well), and did nothing about a request regarding a missing hairdryer for our room. Played on their phone the entire time we saw her. The daytime staff was excellent -kind, attentive and helpful. The wifi in the room was impossible, as well as the cell service. We attempted to project some shows on a rainy day, which proved impossible. Difficult to send and receive messages in the room. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Would like to come back, but the internet / cell service in the room was a real issue, considering we paid for an oceanfront suite.

Its a nice small hotel. Doesn't have breakfast but their is options in the area. The glass door to the balcony was very hard to slide open. It's our second year in a row staying at this location for the bike event that my husband and I attend for the last few years. Its quiet and serene at night with just the ocean noise. The rooms saving grace is the amazing ocean front view and quick access to the beach. The carpet smelled of old cigarette smoke,the balcony screen was off track, android tv is horrible,the mattress kept sliding off wifi was going in and out. For the price these rooms go for i expected better. The first night there we were by chainsmokers and couldn't use the balcony ,our own balcony had several cigarette butts. Even though it was advertised as non smoking hotel no one follows the rules so it was hard to enjoy the view and the sounds of the ocean with the door open because of smokers all night long. All in all if they want to charge the prices they do...they need to do alot of upkeep on the inside. The outside is nice the appliances are nice the bathroom is nice the staff is nice.

Cleanliness Lacking.

Location is great! Staff was friendly, check in was easy. However, room cleanliness was not good - stained carpets, flooring coming up and the bathroom floor looked like it was not mopped. The bedding was clean. Fridge was overly cold and froze our drinks. Coffee machine was not stocked with cups. The property is beautifully decorated just needs some better attention to detail for cleanliness!

My Sealoft Experience

Funny story...
I booked a room at a different hotel. I used an online booking site, which gave this particular hotel a four star rating. One day before my trip, I decided to go on YouTube to see if anyone made a video about the hotel. I found a video, that's when I knew I had to try to cancel my reservation and find another hotel, fast! I went on Hotels.com came across Sealoft and the sites reviews and Google reviews were the same. I was able to book a room and the other hotel canceled my reservation for free; it was a win-win!!! The Sealoft lived up to the online photos and reviews. It was swanky, clean, and the staff was friendly, professional, and hospitable. The next time that I'm in Ocean City, MD, I already know where I'm going to stay, the Sealoft of course!👍😀

Our family has been staying here for the past 5 or 6 years and this is our second year staying in a Suite. We love this hotel and have always had great experiences. This time was not so great and we are very saddened by it. Upon check in, our check in person gave me a balance however there was no owed balance.

Next, I was hit with a parking charge which apparently changed this year so now you are charged for parking which was not clearly notated for being a big change. I know the change is not completely their fault or atleast I was told it was the state not their facility, however I’m not a fan of paying for parking when I already pay to stay somewhere, everywhere usually includes free parking. Secondly with paying for parking, this hotel’s lot is VERY small and there is sometimes no open spaces so I’m paying for the possibility of not even having a space as well as there is no one monitoring their lot as people park over lines on purpose taking up two spaces. Paying for a suite room should either include parking or have an assigned parking space.

Once we were finally checked in, we made our way to our room. We inspect every room thoroughly before unpacking and what not. Their housekeeping did NOT clean our room. Out on the balcony there was a soda can with cigarette butts in it, mind you this hotel is non-smoking, which is clearly not enforced. Also on the balcony there was a disgustingly dirty wash cloth that I don’t even want to know what it was used for..(out of space)

First things first - we would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect (far enough from the boardwalk to be out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to the boardwalk to go visit and to have everything you need right next door). The room was nice, the hotel was super cute, and it being right on the beach was wonderful. The beach in that area was clean and not too packed (Labor Day weeken).

The only reason I knocked it down one star was because there were a few things that were listed as amenities that I had to ask the front desk for (body wash and pull out bed bedding). Also, the internet (another listed amenity) in room 305 was terrible. It wouldn't be that big of a deal except I did have some work I needed to do in our down time, and you have to have working internet to make the TV work (by either projecting your apps to it or using their \"cable\" service which apparently needs internet too). The internet was so bad Instagram wouldn't even load. I asked the front desk twice about it (and not in a rude or demanding way) and the second guy told me there was nothing he could do about it, but I (me, the guest) could go downstairs to the front desk and he would give me the number of the internet company to try and fix it myself...? That was pretty ridiculous. So if you need to do work or just need TV or internet for downtime, you may want to reconsider or plan to hang out at Starbucks.

We had a great stay at Sealoft! The oceanfront room provided the absolute best view to wake up to and end the evening. Everything we needed was within walking distance, could not have been a better location. The room was decently clean and had been recently renovated. I would stay here again, but I’d also check out the sister property across the street, which had even more amenities and was extremely well kept from what we saw during our visit to their pool. Staff was friendly and helpful as well!

The property was OK. The AC unit kept us up at night because it was loud. Wasn't clear I had to pay for parking once I arrived. The water pressure on the 5th floor was bad. WIFI would kick you off randomly so my wife who had to work during the day had to run off her phone hotspot. All this together with some external factors had us make the decision to leave vacation early.

I booked an oceanfront room 5 months in advance for my daughter’s 16th bday and paid the price of an oceanfront room. When I got there, I was given an oceanview room. I told the front desk the issue and they didn’t have any oceanfront rooms to switch me to that had two beds that we needed. When I asked to be refunded the difference between oceanview and oceanfront there was nothing they could do. They said I had to contact Expedia. Needless to say, I was super disappointed that this was my daughter’s birthday gift to have an oceanfront room which we have never had before, and it was ruined.

We booked through Expedia in 2/2025 for a July trip for 4 days of a Ocean Front room and paid for an Ocean Front room. When we got there, we were given an Ocean View room. When asking the manager, she said we would need to go through Expedia for a refund because they charged Expedia for Ocean View and not Ocean Front. We have not received a refund for the difference in price.

Staff was touch and go depending on who you spoke to. The beds were comfortable, but the tv's did not work as advertised. Coffee in the lobby was very good, just wish I could have had it in the room. When requesting stay over service, they came and just threw our towels and trash on the floor outside our door and it just stayed there. Over all because of the amazing balcony I would consider staying again, but would also look at other options as well.

Nice hotel, when we got there our fridge did not work but the man switched it out very quickly for us. But they don’t come around and clean your rooms at all. i had to go to the front desk and ask for a broom just to get the sand off our floor. You have to call and get towels and it will take over a hour before you receive the towels. i booked ocean view and got dunes view and they wouldn’t even let me switch rooms because “they were all booked” They charge you 88$ to park in there parking lot when you get there, and they also charge another 100$ hold when you get there, they say you’ll get back in a week. it’s a decent hotel but if you expect to be on vacation and not have to sweep your own room up, take your towels and trash in the hall for the housekeepers to pick up the next day then this isn’t the hotel for you.

Nice hotel right on the beach

Cute hotel right on the beach. Room was spotless and beds were comfortable. Despite being fully booked, it was quiet at night. Staff were really nice and let us know that staying here allows you to access the amenities at the Aloft hotel on the bayside. Be aware that there is a fee for parking, but that street fills with beach goers, so I didn't mind paying for a guaranteed spot. My only \"negative\" feedback would be that the water pressure in the shower was terrible. Other than that, it was a nice place and I'd stay there again.

I have stayed her plenty of times before the renaming - remodeling. The Atlantic is part of many memories with my family. This is our last time staying at the now named Sealoft. Checking in was the worst with the rudest host ever - she was not helpful and even said wrong room number. Upon checkin - discovered fridge broken in room - that night told same host and she said ok. Told her we tried to get ice out of smallest ice machine - she said it got ice now… no it had enough for a small kids cup. Not to save the food we brought to put in fridge. Also asked for towels. Nothing. Talked to another host and she sent someone next day. Fridge and freezer had ice down the back - not working. But the guy said it was all good…Ended up buying ice and storing in our cooler. No real housekeeping done - chasing down staff for items needed.- towels, toilet paper, trash bags.gate code for pool barely worked. Remodeling and still one elevator? Then there is a door to ramp, a lift, and door to building located in same spot. Lots of traffic jams and getting stuck. Just a terrible experience. Pluses to stay: on the beach and easy to get to. This will be last time staying here. After 10+ years of staying there. Hopefully they get it together.

We had called them to ask about an early check in since we were coming from 4 hours away. They were not nice about the room not being done. They just stated “rooms not ready” Check in stated 4pm so we went back at 3:30 and still the same response. They told us just because Check in starts at 4 doesn’t mean our room is going to be ready. They finally had a room ready around 4:10. When we got to the room is was filthy. There was blood in the bathroom, hair on the sheets, mold on the air conditioning, an old cherio under the couch and no cover on the beds.
