I had a death in the family and instead of being sent condolences or any kind words the hotel was very rude. They instead reminded me of the cancellation process, refused to give me a credit for my stay, cut me off in conversation and were very rude. After being told the general manager would contact me the next day I never received any calls or emails from him.

There are 3 pools at this location and all are outrageously cold with no heating. The house cleaners were 2 hours late and they only remade the bed and took out the trash. The toilet, bathtub, sink etc were not cleaned and remained dirty the entire stay. The hotel is also several blocks from the boardwalk and the staff at the front desk including management did not care about service complaints, were rude and showed no urgency in helping on any matter.

It's unfortunate that an establishment that received a roach complaint just a month ago remains to practice unsanitary measures. It's also unfortunate that there is no human care or component in their customer service. Don't stay here if you actually want a clean place to stay or somewhere that cares about anything outside of money. Like I said someone died and instead of atleast saying sorry for my loss, they cut me off, talked over me, didn't return calls and remained insensitive and rude.

Overall it was a good experience, but the hotel is aging and it is noticeable. Property feels old and dingy. But beach view was nice. Parking at the hotel is convenient. Room felt clean, but next time I would just stay at the Hilton.

The room we stayed in was oceanfront with a balcony on the 8th floor. It had a king sized bed, nice balcony seating, the room was very spacious, had a full kitchen, a little dining area, double vanity in the bathroom, and a lovely large shower. The room was clean with modern decor and comfortable bedding. The hotel staff at the front desk and Starbucks were beyond pleasant at each encounter. There was easy access to/from the beach which was nice, 3 running elevators, and plentiful parking in the covered garage. We enjoyed the two outdoor pools and thought the indoor pool looked beautiful. We didnt get the opportunity to dine at the hotel restaurant but hopefully next time. We will also enjoy the outdoor seating area and bonfire next time as well. Oh! And the warm, delicious cookies were the cherry on top - so good! We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks for making our 20th wedding anniversary celebration a wonderful one!

First, I reserved an ocean front room and was given a room that faced the street and a very noisy receiving area for the hotel next door. Both the hotel and this site refused to move me. The room I got stunk and the smoke detector kept beeping. Never again!

Our room was very clean. We had an issue with the AC but maintenance was quick to try and correct it and Matt was quick to try and figure out a solution. Great location directly in the beach. Can’t beat that with little ones!

The place is nice. However it’s not the cleanest. We checked in and saw 2 hair on a supposed clean towel, as well as a fly that we couldn’t deal with. The staff was able to provide fly catcher for us to hit the fly, but was unable to change us into another room that’s ocean front.

The problems we had was we stayed there for 5 nites and the maid only showed up the first 2 days— very disappointed— Also, in the 6 years we have been going there this was the first year they charged $10/day for parking, and with the expensive $450/nite you would think they could throw that in for free. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the hotel— definitely worth the stay and we would go again.

I stayed two nights I expect housekeeping to come check the room and at least empty the trash daily give fresh towels. We use the two bottles of complementary water to make coffee but for the next day, there’s no water to make coffee. I’m not using tapwater and there was no coffee. Why is it my job to have to go down and ask the front desk for more coffee or clean towels that’s why I gave three stars for this hotel.

Parking was good, very quiet no doors slamming when people leave, beds were very comfortable. This will be my new go to in Ocean City. We normally stay at the Marriott which was showing its age and started charging for parking.

There's a lot to like about this place. It's a great location, right on the beach, and there's parking on every level, so it's easy to just pop out of your room and into your vehicle. The place is fairly old, and the parking lot is a little grubby but very convenient.

The shared spaces inside the hotel are clean and so are the rooms. We didn't interact with staff that much, but the place felt welcoming and well run. The price is very fair for what you get, which is a sunny, decent sized room. We were surprised to see that our room had a full sized refrigerator and oven, along with a microwave and kitchen sink. It was stocked with tableware, too. There's a Starbucks in the lobby, so it was nice to be able to bring my coffee upstairs and pour it into a real ceramic mug.

There were just two things missing that, to me (and to most people, I think), are important to include in a hotel room. One is a FULL LENGTH MIRROR! This is a big omission since most of us want to be able to see our outfits before going out when traveling, especially out for the evening. The second is body wash on the wall of the shower, which has the pump bottles with the shampoo and the conditioner, but no body wash, I did have a sample size body wash with me but I think people kind of expect the hotel to supply this and will really be inconvenienced if they don't bring any because they expect it to be there. Seems chintzy to me.

Other than these couple of omissions, highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here this weekend and overall had a really good experience. One of my favorite parts was definitely the balcony and the beautiful view — it made the stay feel relaxing and worth it. The room was also very convenient and well equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave, which was a huge plus.

I also chose to include breakfast with my stay, and although the breakfast options were somewhat limited, the food was still good and convenient.

The only downside for me was the location. While I liked the area, it was farther from the main part of the boardwalk than I expected. However, aside from that, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again.

Everything was perfect! Clean and we enjoyed our stay! Only thing is we stayed in room 701 and we believe that the AC unit for that room was not working properly. We had the thermostat set to 68 cool, but the room stayed at 74 all night long. Other than that minor inconvenience everything else was amazing and we will definitely be looking to stay at doubletree by Hilton in ocean city again!

Our room was lovely. It was clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of plugs for charging our devices. Our only suggestion would be to improve the brand of toilet paper. It was the so thin. But that would not keep us from staying there again. It is very nice, well kept, and at the location we prefer.

This place was amazing. Family of 4 here with 2 small children and everyone was so nice to them. The pool was wonderful and clean and opened early. Having access to laundry when staying a whole week was amazing. The housekeeping staff always checked on us even just walking by. We plan on common back in June now, this place is now our family favorite. We can't thank everyone enough for a great stay! room was also great and spacious. <3 Thanks Double Tree!

The restaurant was closed for construction. This location had a Starbucks that was closed as well, the staff couldn't even provide complimentary coffee in the morning while their food sources were shut down. Forced to walk off property to a fast food place for our morning coffee at these prices!

Also charged us for parking in the hotel garage when it was 90% empty! $10 a night that Expedia did not list either.

Older hotel showing its age. We found trash under the desk, couch and chair. Staff were okay. There were banging noises and weird smells throughout our stay. We thought this was a non-smoking place but other patrons were smoking cigarettes and pot each day and the smoke drifted into our unit.

I didn’t like that there was no breakfast , no food available at all. Also the pool area needs to be cleaned and swept up water around the pool, I saw many kids slipping and falling there was so much water everywhere. Very disappointing but everything else was Great.

We enjoy staying at this hotel (our 2nd visit). Rooms are clean and comfy. Staff professional and pleasant. The room service lady was sweet and kept us stocked when we wanted more towels and trash bags.
Love being right on the beach. Wish there was free coffee. We requested maintenance the first day with one of the toilets, one of the sinks and a light out in bathroom. No one came until we called about the toilet. Toilet was fixed but no one came for sink and light.

Off season the hotel staff was still so responsive and ready to help. The rooms and building were clean. Only downside the store closed around 5 and besides the seafood restaurant there weren’t great snack options, so you need to leave for that. Otherwise it was perfect.

The beds in our room were comfortable and the room itself felt clean. I was happy with the hotel. The only downside was and it’s not even the hotels fault is the Hilton next door was renovating and at 5:30am a truck came to remove/empty 2 of the flatbed dumpsters they had full. Then it was every type of delivery truck as possible came until 7:30am with the backup beeps going non stop. Maybe next time if we stay we won’t take the one side of the hotel with a partial view. And like I said it’s not the hotels fault but it made that day so miserable because we were tired and couldn’t enjoy the day. We even left that night so we could get a good nights sleep

Great room. Very clean when arrived. Front desk staff very attentive and responsive. Housekeeping did not do much and failed to show up. HVAC condenser very loud - maintenance tried to fix but couldn't do much. Restaurant was good but understaffed. Love the cookies!!!

The stay was disappointing due to constant noise at night. Metal Doors were frequently opening and closing, and the elevator noise was very noticeable. The room’s sound insulation is poor, making it difficult to rest. In addition, breakfast service was slow, with long wait times to receive food.

Check in was easy with it off season. We loved their warm complimentary cookie and they were nice giving us a room high up with a tub as requested for my son. Expedia said it had a deep soaking tub but apparently none of them have them and some only have showers so that was disappointing as my tall boyfriend was looking forward to finally fitting in a tub to soak in. $10 per night is extra to park.

My son loved the indoor pool and I enjoyed the hot tub. I love the all glass ceiling and walls it was so beautiful and warm inside. Both the hot tub and pool were comfortable temperatures. We came during off season and it was still pretty busy and loud, so I could only imagine how crowded it would get tho the outside pool would be open then too which would be nice. The only thing I didn’t like were how kids were getting in the hot tub which is against the rules so no one I forces them. They were also jumping off the side of the hot tub wall into the pool

The private area beside the hotel has a fire each night which was nice and has corn hole to play as well as a volleyball net . I was sad to see all the palm tree palms were completely broken on every tree tho.

The room we got was a king Oceanfront which was wonderful. The kitchenette was very small with almost no counter space and very minimal lacking things like sharp knives and nothing to bake with. I did notice on the rooms map that they gave us what looked slightly smaller tho, so maybe we were just less lucky with that.

Loved the fact that any activity me and my partner wanted to do away from the hotel ... the drive back was always easy and short. This hotel was in the middle of everything we did which made our stay so much lighter and not a hassle. The staffs were so nice, place was super clean and the everyday change of bed sheets and towels? Amazing feel so seen LOL. The room did not match the reservation description. I booked a partial ocean-front view but was assigned a room overlooking the indoor pool atrium and parking garage, which was disappointing. When I raised the issue, management was unhelpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and the restaurant was excellent. I would consider staying again, but I strongly recommend confirming your room details in advance.
