I loved the property and the amenities. I have been coming to Ocean City over 25 years, I have never paid for early access at any other resort/hotel. We arrived 58 minutes prior to check in and were going to be charged a $50 fee. That needs to be changed especially if it is under an hour.

The location of hotel was right on the ocean side with easy access to the beach. The room was spacious and very nice. The only negative thing that only efected travel time around the resort was the unusual layout of how to access the indoor pool and the condos due to the fact of which elevators need to be utilized.

Very nice hotel and clean, really nice bar feels almost like a resort. Only down side is parking is horrible at night, the elevator takes forever, pool was way smaller in person, and it's about a 20-minute drive from board walk.

Towels weren’t replaced daily, elevators were not cooled, parking garage so tight can’t make turns, no continental breakfast. Was charged twice once via hotels.com and hotel. What a hassle. No water pressure and water temp was not hot.

The hotel was well kept and very clean.
The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and helped us with what we needed. The room was nice & spacious , clean , nice size sitting room and kitchenette. We paid for a room with a balcony and a view of the pool which was very nice. The pool has a strict closing time. We had no issues with noise.

This hotel was great! Nice sized rooms with kitchenette and separate living room area. We were able to cook some meals which was convenient. The staff were friendly and available when needed. I loved the beach and the bar! My only issue was the parking lot was a little tight to maneuver through but no big deal. I would absolutely recommend and will definitely return!

I travel to Ocean City with my family pretty much every year and this was my first time staying at this hotel and it will certainly be my last. Staying here made this my worse experience at Ocean City thus far. I brought my husband here for Fathers Day weekend and upon arrival we noticed there were some things that were unclean around the room but not wanting to make a big deal so tried to overlook it. So we went to the pool as our room was on the pool level. The pool was FREEZING cold. Way too cold for an indoor pool. The kids in the pool including mine were all shivering. Upon returning and preparing for bed, my husband lift the sheets to find DIRT and multiple HUGE stains of I dont know what!!! Then further notice SAND all in the bed, on the sheets. We check the other bed only to find SAND in those sheets as well. The bedding was NOT CHANGED AT ALL!! Whomever cleaned that room clearly left the same sheets on the bed from the prior people who stayed in the room. Beyond DISGUSTING!! We could not believe that someone actually did that! At this point we wanted to check out but it was late, we had a 3 yr old and we were only there for a couple nights so I called for assistance. They sent someone to change the sheets but no manager available. Keep in mind this room cost over $1000 for 2 NIGHTS!! I am still waiting for a call back from management!!

The description of a side ocean view was not at all what I expected. The room was never cleaned up during our stay. TVs didn’t work from day 1 had to ask for not only towels but the tv to be fixed which they did come quickly to do but within a few hours of leaving and coming back to the room the tv was back to not working. The lines at the front desk were ridiculous standing there for 15-20 mins because they didn’t have enough staff working and the same thing at the bar as well. Everytime we went to the bar they were standing around playing with the money in the register instead of serving people. The beach was nice but we also had a lot of unpredictable weather when we were there. This was our second time staying and there was a HUGE decline in overall service and cleanliness.

Resort was nice and clean. Staff was courteous and friendly. Resort was showing signs of age coffee pot in room didn't work elevator north was very slow and run down. Resort restaurants were very good but staff was very slow and never checked on us after food and drinks were served. Both restaurants. I would recommend staying here just needs some improvement.

I didn’t love the bell hops. If you weren’t using them, they had to respect for other people walking throughout the hotel. I mean in narrow walkways they rammed those carts, leaving little to know place to walk.

The room was clean. I wish they would have supplied dish soap for cleaning the few dishes we used instead of running the dishwater every time, also a small convenient sewing kit, and shower cap would have been nice. Also having an emery board for purchase would have been nice as well. Accommodations we satisfiying, except when I ordered Crabby Puppies at The Current and it took over an hour for 6 Crabby Patties to get fried that other customers started complaining on my behalf.

Our room was clean and, when requested, housekeeping cleaned again. Lots of amenities including a stove and dishwasher. The staff was very responsive with extra towels, compensating for food that was accidentally thrown out by housekeeping, and early check-in.

The bedding, however, was less than desirable: pillows were lumpy and the comforter “covering” came apart easily. The showerhead needed to be updated as many of the tiny holes were clogged.

I would definitely stay there again.

We did experience one disappointment during our stay — finding mouse droppings in the bathroom. Once we brought it to the hotel’s attention, the staff addressed the issue promptly and ensured the area was cleaned thoroughly.Aside from that, the ocean view, the spacious condo layout, and the in‑room amenities were all excellent. We genuinely enjoyed our time and appreciated the comfort and atmosphere the property provided.

Staff was hard to locate there often wasn’t anyone at the front desk. There is only an indoor pool at the property and the water was quite cloudy. The rooms are spacious, however housekeeping is only upon request no matter how short or long your stay. The large Restaurant schooners is very underutilized as it’s only open for breakfast and the service was very slow. The only on-site dinner options are all fried bar food, however the quesadillas were delicious. The weather during our trip was slated to be cold (June) and we wanted to reschedule but because it was booked with Expedia we were unable to cancel without losing the full amount we paid.

Very spacious room and beautiful lobby area. Better view than expected and the room had lots of storage area which was a plus. My one complaint was I felt like the pool wasn’t as well maintained as it could have been. Was not heated and the area just didn’t seem too clean but that just comes with age. Overall a great stay and I would recommend.

All in all this was a beautiful place. The staff was friendly enough. Parking was okay just be comfortable in tight garages. We did the condo which can be a headache to get to due to the layout of the building. However the condo itself was gorgeous-- incredibly spacious, fit 6 of us comfortably, balcony had a fantastic view of the ocean. We did run into issues with all the televisions--they all kept disconnecting, someone came up to fix it but it disconnected almost immediately- we gave up. Then one of the drawers flew off the handle- nails and all like it wasn't properly installed. The room didn't have a phone for connecting with the front desk so we kept having to google their number to get in contact with them- not great.
Bummed that breakfast isn't included considering the price point- food also wasn't cheap but there are plenty of other restaurants in the area to take advantage of. The pool was a nice size-- they have 'adult swim' hours in the morning which should be taken advantage of since there can be groups of kids throwing balls everywhere and no one is around to monitor this. Beach is easy to access and also tons of space to hang out for the day. They have huts for purchasing beach accessible. There is also a bar--however my Spanish speaking family kept being actively ignored and told 'be right with you' while they helped others who got there after us- take this as you will..
We'd probably come back- possibly at a lower price point.

I must say the front desk staff that checked us in was so sweet (Alexzus) not sure I spell her name correctly lol!
The lobby was clean and welcoming.
I stayed in a condo on the 9th floor facing the ocean absolutely breathtaking. When I entered the room I could smell how clean and fresh everything was. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly.
I had 2 incidents which were addressed immediately.
Breakfast was delicious & affordable at schooners! Staff was pleasant upon passing in the hallways.
Parking was a breeze. The area is very convenient for restaurants, grocery shopping basically everything.
I will definitely be coming back to The Princess Royale Resort again. It's worth every penny!

Very nice resort. Just need small tweaks like makeup mirror in the bathroom, no paper towels in the kitchenette, parking not conducive but free. Not big things but I’ve stayed at other resorts and those things were status quo. Had I’d known they did not offer I would’ve brought my own. Our last stay wasn't that great and we we're dissapointed. The room had a smell to it. No shower pressure at all. The bed oh my gosh the bed. Ugh, It literally had a dent in it and no support. It felt like the foundation fell through. Just to name a few things. We usually have a pretty good time here but it almost feels like they are falling into the same category as the other hotels nearby. But at this price point I except a little more..

Resort is nice in lobby, great coffee place onsite. but the pool was so crowded kids everywhere splashing and with floating rings . If you are looking for a quiet relaxing time at pool this is not the place. It was very noisy on the hallways by my room at 12at night. Young teens playing outside hallways. The stay was just okay. The beds were comfy, but there were ants throughout the room, no soap for dishes, and some black spots on the wall in the bathroom and closet. The pool area was suitable enough but it was very cold in there, we had to get out because it was freezing, we even overheard an employee complaining and saying something was wrong because it was so cold in there. They advertised an arcade which we went searching for only to find out that they no longer have one, just a couple games by the pool. Bought two identical espresso drinks at the coffee shop and one was completely curdled and full of chunks. They remade it, but I was already turned off. And for some reason, their little gift shop was never open. I’m not a complainer by nature, but in retrospect, I probably should have said something.

We absolutely loved our stay at Princess Royale! The staff were very accommodating and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Even though we came during bad weather, we still had a great time because the indoor pool was amazing for the kids and family. We loved our 1st floor Oceanfront Queen suite (room 109), however, getting TO the room was a chore. If you have anyone in your party who can not walk LONG distances, this room is NOT for you. You have to take the elevator up one floor, go down a long hallway and around 2 corners to another elevator. Take that elevator back down to the 1st floor and around several corners to arrive at the room. It was beautiful and updated. We loved that the bedroom had a door for privacy from the sitting area but all that walking was a bit much for our 75 yr old mom. Thank God for my sons who helped us with luggage!

I booked the princess for a romantic getaway and were all of the amenities. Pretty much everything there is closed, even though we are almost in season, but worst of all we tried to use the pool, which is the whole reason we booked the room and we were told that Freemasons booked the entire pool for the rest of the night and we couldn't get into the pool . A huge, huge group of children took up the pool and we couldn't even enjoy the tables and chairs around the pool as they took that all up as well. If you're going to rent out the entire amenities to one group, why would you make me pay full price to stay here and why wouldn't you tell me this what's going on before I stayed??? went to front desk and they offered me nothing.
