The ashore rooms are beautiful . The room we booked had a partial ocean view which was very nice and also had a view of the street which was great because it was car weekend. it was nice to see the cars some pretty cool ones driving around. We didn’t go down for car week but we did enjoy it. Thank so much Angela.

I drove all the way to Ocean City Maryland only to be disappointed that the room that I payed for wasn’t available after payed extra money to secure the room . Nobody contacted me and gave me the heads up or anything. This is my 3rd time trying to contact someone about this matter . I would greatly appreciate it if I could have my money back thank you

It’s very nice. The oceanfront restaurant is under renovation. Room was clean. Tiny balcony big enough for one person to stand on allowed view of ocean or bay. I felt very comfortable as a solo traveler. Front desk folks were top notch. I would stay there again.

2nd floor was closed, where all restaurants and bars are. Nobody said anything about a remodel. Drywall dust on every floor and in elevators. I have been going to Ocean City for 50 years and this was the worst ever.

My stay was good just a few things I couldn’t get the iron to work or the tv remote I could only get it to turn off and on and use the channel and volume button. Last woke up with my back hurting cause the bed was extremely to soft.

Most everything was well above standard. However, the A/C in my room was very \"clangy\" and loud and cost me a good night's sleep. And, there was a used vape unit on the roof directly outside my window, which was a bit unsightly. Other than those things, the staff were very nice and helpful, and the facility is beautiful.

Stayed for the Oceans Calling fest. Loved how the resort is on a more private beach in a quieter area while still only a fairly quick Uber or drive to the boardwalk. Nice pool and jacuzzi with views of both the Ocean and bay from our hotel terrace. Room was comfy and loved the bar and restaurant within the hotel. 5 stars 10/10

I was disappointed in the menu options at the Tap Room. I was there for a baseball tournament and the nor-easter canceled the tournament last day (Sun). I asked if I could checkout a day early to get home before the storm hit and they said yes but I would still have to pay the full price.

Had to move rooms twice due to lack of cleanliness.
One of the rooms the wood floor was waxed and i slipped when entering the room, didnt even send security or medical attention to check in on me. Asked simply for fresh towels to my room since they didn’t service it all day for one of the days i was there and they never sent the towels. Girls at the check in desk we not friendly, rolled their eyes to any request needed and still wouldn’t complete the task. Will never stay here again, no customer service and did not feel welcome

The property has such great potential but it really needs a good top to bottom cleaning. Our fitted sheet had a tear in it which you wouldn’t expect.
Having restaurants onsite was a great advantage.
I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless I knew they dealt with the cleanliness issues.

We stayed at this hotel and I am rating this hotel 1 star. When we initially booked this hotel, we were under the impression that this was a brand new hotel (didn’t do our research). It is a new hotel, but the building is definitely older and you can see that it is an older building from both outside and inside the building. I will also say the pictures from the website definitely do not reflect the actual room experience. The floor was very dirty, and just walking a couple seconds barefoot, you would notice the bottom of your feet were covered black. I will say the bathroom was very clean however.

The most frustrating part of this hotel is definitely the elevator experience. There are only three elevators for the entire building. This includes the elevator that the staff uses. The elevators are very small and even with all three elevators functioning properly, there is always a decent wait time. On our check out day, the worst happened, and 2 of the 3 elevators were down. Only one elevator was working and it was an absolute disaster. If you were lucky, it would be about an hour wait to get on an elevator. Then once you were on the elevator, it would stop at every floor with crowds of people waiting. It got bad where the stuff were jumping on the elevator before customers. It forced me to carry my belongings to include a stroller and two young children down 9 flights of very steep and not very wide steps. The process took over 2 hours.

I won’t be returning to this hotel.

Awesome updates done on this property, but feels like it could be a facelift not a renovation. The food and service were great. A side ocean view from our 2 balconies (neither large enough to sit on) was nice but I’d rather a full balcony and view. Our room with a separate bedroom and pull out sofa felt large enough for a week without being on top of one another. Included parking pass and lot were a bonus - we never had trouble finding a spot which was good because it sometimes felt a little sketchy outside on the street.

My gripes include:
- The rooms on the north side, confirmed by two room visits, sloped oddly towards the balconies about two feet from the edge… which was strange.
- There’s only ice on a few of the floors, not every floor and of course… everyone wants ice when they’re at the beach, so many of the machines were not working when we were there.
- Getting an elevator at busy times was next to impossible. People going up and down for ice and only 2 running consistently that week.

Overall we would return but I’ll be anxious to see how it holds up!

The lighting in our bathroom was not working when we told the front desk. Nothing was done about it. A worker came up said he couldn’t do it. It’d be done in the morning and nothing happened. The floors were dirty room service never came. We had to chase them down for a new towels we made our own bed would not recommend this hotel.

The best thing about this property are the stylings and practicality of the rooms, the location and view, and the wonderful restaurant renovations. It's a beautifully done restaurant with great food and cocktails for dinner. The negatives would be the service which varies person to person, the dated areas of the hotel that still need some major updating and cleaning, and the fact that there is no relief area for pets as mentioned. There were a lot of inconsistencies throughout our stay. This hotel could be a 5 and its a gem of a property, but I think they just need to get it together from a customer service standpoint and manage their team better. For an example, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was not inexpensive, and saw our waiter once. Someone else brought us our food and he never checked on us so we could reorder drinks etc. We had to track him down for the check. The restaurant wasnt even remotely busy at that time. We saw him \"around\" but never did he tend to us other than taking our order. No one else checked on us at all.

Our stay was very nice. Everyone was very polite. The only real issue was a convenient bathroom to get to when out on the beach. There were 2 weddings at the resort so it was uncomfortable to walk around in a swimsuit when there were a 100 people or so looking their best all dressed up. The bridal party also took up the only oceanfront balcony of the hotel which meant there was no hanging out in the evenings. Then I felt I couldn’t use my car because all the parking was used up by the bride and grooms guess.

The balcony was very small, it didn't have room to put a chair out, let alone 2. The cleaning people made our bed& took our dirty towels. But they didn't leave us any wash clothes or hand towels. We waited 20 min to have some brought to our room. They also left us with our dirty cups. No clean cups for our second day. Also had next door people smoking pot constantly, on the balcony & were loud until very late at night.

The staff had tips about local restaurants, which we appreciated. The small balconies offer a view of the waves from the sides of the building. The hotel is on the beach, which is convenient, and staffers will put up free umbrellas and chairs.

My room was not the best. The carpet under the bed was beyond dirty. Hardwood floor had sand all over. Bathroom floor was dirty. Hair in the shower. Dinning table was sticky. Lighting was poor in the room. Room location was the worst. The young lady at the front desk was rude and not helpful at all.

We booked 2 rooms across the hall from each other. We arrived early and were told the rooms weren’t ready. We waited over an hour and were given the keys to one room at 3:45 pm. We then watched as 3 people cleaned the other room. Check-in was supposed to be by 4pm. The other room wasn’t ready til after 5 pm! We were never contacted by text or phone so we went to the front desk to get keys. The woman at the desk lied to us and said that room was ready at 3:45! We suggested some sort of compensation should be given and she said to contact the third party that we booked through. What a way to begin our vacation! Her attitude was definitely in need of some customer service training , along with honesty and integrity.
