We booked a luxury cottage and could not have been happier. The room was spotless and the view was amazing. Our plunge pool was fabulous and we used it every day. The staff make this resort. They are wonderful. The view from the beach is stunning and the water was clear and warm. Also, be sure to check out the Pickleball and tennis courts and the gym because they are great. We were also very happy with food in all of the restaurants We will definitely be back.

My wife and I had an incredible stay at Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort, in the luxury beachfront one-bedroom, and it truly exceeded expectations. The views were absolutely stunning, and the overall stay was nothing short of amazing.

What really set this resort apart was the service; 24/7 concierge, staff who knew us by name, and genuine smiles every time we were greeted. We always felt welcomed and well taken care of, with everyone happy to help in any way possible.

Dining is priced on the higher end, but that’s to be expected for a luxury resort of this caliber, and the quality matched the experience.

An unforgettable stay and a place we’d gladly return to. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had an amazing stay at Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort. Great service, delicious food, and a clean, beautiful beach with full wait staff bringing food and drinks right to you. The beach is public but feels private and has an incredible snorkeling area with so many colorful fish — it’s like swimming in a real-life aquarium. The water is crystal clear and turns deep just a few feet out. If you enjoy stargazing, stay up late — I saw three shooting stars in one night. Huge thanks to our butler Ned and driver Heiginous for making our stay extra special. Highly recommend!
Also highly recommend TreeTop restaurant. Another Gem of St Lucia with Spectacular views and great food.

Amazing Anniversary!

Amazing! Upon arrival, we were notified we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a beachfront bungalow! The entire property was immaculate. Stunning views, rich history, beautiful artwork throughout, and amazing service! There are several restaurants, each unique and all a great experience. We also loved having lunch on the beach under the shade of a beautiful cabana! Our visit was in celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary and the wonderful staff presented us with a couple great surprises, one at dinner and one left in our room. We cannot say enough how wonderful the experience was! We were sad to leave, and really hope to return soon! Special thanks to our butlers, Macrena and Michaela (Team M & M)!

The price does not justify the stay

The hotel has an amazing grounds between the two Pitons - probably the best view you will get on the island. The restaurants on the grounds offer good variety of different menus. But this is where the experience ends and disaster begins. The price of the stay cannot justify for the lack of service and some of the outdated amenities.

We have tried to book some the activities they offer over a concierge template online well in advance as recommended but did not get a response until we actually called to the resort. Once we checked in, we figured out activities were in fact not booked or confirmed for the dates and times discussed and were facing cancellation fees for appointments we were not even aware of.

Moreover, we have stayed at the Sugar Mills that are in definite need of renovation - old bathrooms, rusty furniture, broken doors/windows that cannot completely close, non-working plunge pool, etc. We have been also encouraged to use the hotel’s app to communicate any needs, which did not work.

For a luxury range hotel, we have been happier staying at the Hyatt chain hotel.

After comparing possible resorts, I am thrilled to have settled on Sugar Beach.
It is truly a prize in the middle of an oasis. I opted to stay in a beachfront bungalow, which was worth every cent. I considered Ladera, but the three-wall concept was not for me. I did opt to have dinner at Ladera during sunset, and the views are amazing, but as soon as the sun went down, the crickets and the mosquitoes made me happy that I chose Sugar Beach.
I want to thank Felicia and Michaela, who ensured we were happy and celebrated my birthday.
Special thanks to Maurcia at Terrace Restaurant for making me feel like family.
Thanks to the morning groundkeepers who always passed by while I was sitting in the outdoor lounge chair to check in on my husband and me

Darelyne, the manager, was an absolute delight. Her sweet, warm, and genuinely pleasant demeanor made every interaction feel personal and heartfelt. Food has change from a French theme to an American bent. The Great Room has changed to the Saltwood and is a Steak house themed restaurant, it has Fish dishes but mainly high end Beef. The themed evenings are great with great food. There is a AI butler service which uses your Whatsapp app and it sucks. They are working on it. Try the burgers at the South Pier.(Shake Shack style).

This resort was safe, lovely and amazing beautiful indeed. But I have a bad experience because my husband was got injury of his head when we join the sunset cruise. Captain drove fast to the shore and the resort manager was waiting for us and took us to the town hospital immediately. He got a lots of bleeding and need sutures for his head. After that, Dr .had to transfer him to the main hospital to take a x-ray and made sure everything was ok.
Sherman (resort manager) was stayed with us all the time and even kept talking to my husband on the way back. In the mean time, I didn’t have any cash on my hand and Sherman took care of any charge for the hospital cost. So I want to thank you Sherman so much and help us to get through the difficult times.
Also I want to thank you our butler too, he got the medication to my husband on the next day and sent the nurse to take care of my husband every morning. We were very appreciated what you did it for us.
So I am highly recommended this resort, staff was friendly and helpful, place was safe and just like a paradise.

The entire staff not only anticipated our needs but fulfilled all our wants and desires. Dining options and the exquisite, delicious and decadent foods made it impossible to \"stick to the diet.\" Everything is freshly prepared and always with a smile.

We were there to celebrate our 10th Wedding anniversary and staff made sure it was memorable and special.

Shia, Richanna, Winnie, Lawrencia, Clotee, Ames, Damius, Liam, Danny, Kandy, Moses, Yan and so many other enployees, staff and workers were absolute rockstar professionals to us who love their work at the resort. We will only stay at Sugar Beach when in St. Lucia! This highly trained staff know exactly how to make you feel like a VIP. It's a 10-star review and resort.

Staff is ok not the most courteous/friendly one but adécuate (except for Derby at the Bonte restaurant and all staff at Cane Bar, súper friendly and nice).
I was expecting more from this hotel, I’m not disappointed but neither I’m impressed.
I will stay here again just for the breathtaking views and the amazing beach.

Very beautiful property. The food is not that great if you are looking for more authentic cuisine you will have to go off the property. I recommend the Becon Restaurant which is not too far maybe 10 minutes if that

Beautiful property and I enjoyed the beach. The butler service is great and they are very responsive. I wil definitely stay here again .
