Beautiful view. Staff is very nice. The beach is very private and beautiful. You have to take a ferry to get to the property which runs all day and is only a 2 minute ride. Overall it is paradise and I would high recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation without too many people around.

This place is beyond decrepit. I felt disgusted every time I stepped on the resort. The craftsmanship of this Resort is horrible, everything is falling apart, any repairs they made on the walls with putty they didn't bother sanding down or painting over so the room is now full of white patches. I stayed in one of their upgraded rooms, the Panorama room with half board. DO NOT GET THE HALF-BOARD OR ALL INCLUSIVE because the food is atrocious.

I will do everything I can to make sure everybody I know avoids this place like the plague

The price of the hotel is fair for St. Lucia. Everything is very expensive. The rooms are dated and the sheets were really rough, and it the flatted one had a tear on it. Just know that there are many steps to get to your room. The other issue is that you have to take a ferry to get to this hotel, which I didn't know, so we had to park the car on the other side of the bay, and we couldn't get a parking space, so We had to wait for over 1 hour for someone to leave. The was one morning, we didn't have water at all, and the wi-fi comes and go. Mostly, it didn't work.
The pool is in bad shape also. I just have to say that this hotel needs a lotta of work.
The staff although was excellent. Everyone was great, especially, Lee Ann from Doolittle restaurant.

Room was ok. Staff is generally very quiet and don’t say much. The man who helped carry our luggage to the room did not show us how to work the Tv controls (they were a bit confusing at first) or any other features of the room. When we told the desk clerk we were checking out there was no offer of help with the bags. (There are a lot of stairs to the room we had and many more to some of the others). Our biggest issue would be how expensive it is to do any outings from this place and the inexperience of the people at the travel desk. It would be great if they had a sign up board so guests could share taxi vans or boats to different sites and split the cost rather than paying US$200 everyday for every trip it seems. They should also give written receipts / reservation slips when guests book a trip. We were quoted one price for a trip and charged $30 more on checkout. We would also suggest that the management should be more visible and interact with the guests so these sort of issues can be discussed.

The staff members Chloe, Trudy, Destiny, and Glenn were very pleasant to deal with. I did not like feeling trapped at the resort due to the ferry service ending early, and that is the only means of transportation to and from the resort. The restaurant on site (Doolittle’s) prices were extremely expensive and the food did not taste good! Food was extremely salty. The menus were falling apart and appeared to be the same menus from (I guess) when they initially opened. There were roaches in the kitchen. The view from my room was beautiful of the bay. The resort could use some TLC, it was dated. To get to the room was exhausting. Walking up steep inclines and very far distance. Overall, the staff was pleasant and the view of the bay was nice. I checked out early, due to lack of food options, location, and the bugs in my room. The staff member that I expressed the bug complaint to handled my concern well, (I can’t recall her name). She however failed to follow up with me. The beach staff (the men mainly) were very pushy with attempting you to purchase food from them. I would like to commend Destiny for her excellent customer service with facilitating a boat tour at the last minute. Destiny went above and beyond booking the tour. The waitress Trudy was extremely pleasant and a joy to interact with.

Not enough space here to list the issues we found.
Worst was THE 220VAC ELECTRIC IRON IN ROOM 15A HAD BARE WIRES AND I GOT A SHOCK FROM THEM. I took the iron out and put it on the veranda and reported it to Reception but nothing was done about it a day later. I expect it’s still there now. I should remind that 220V can kill, especially if the user has a heart condition.

The room leaks when it rains. The room is also very old. The staff at the front office and the cleaning staff are very nice, but the staff at the restaurant often forget to wait on you at all and are not very nice. They are often annoyed by stuff that is caused by their lack of preparation, such as not having certain foods like pizza, or chicken. They are also very slow waiting on you. I found myself waiting for over 1.5 hours to get my order taken.

The resort was in a beautiful area. Our room had a beautiful view and the rooms were very clean. Check-in took around 2 hours. We had to sit at the bar while they figured out something about the keys. The mattress and pillows were hard. The staff did their job, but they were not overly friendly and many items listed on the menu were not available. We were given a list of things that we could not order every morning.

some Palm trees rounded up the view to the beach, it is very calm there, no cars, recommendation to join the Marigot beach resort in the after season, relax or make some tours around the island, by boot or car. If you not so fit, request a stay at a lower part, otherwise some steps are there for good exercise to reach the room, smile.

Let’s discuss. When I first picked this hotel. There was no mention that in order to get to the hotel you must take a water taxi over which was not the biggest deal but gives no mention on the booking or the hotel website.

Secondly, anytime we asked the staff for something, it was as if we were bothering them. The staff were not working efficient. It took 25-30 min for them to make scrambled eggs for two.

Let’s now discuss the sleeping arrangement. WiFi works when it feels like it, bugs come and go through the cracked door sweep and we running water would occasionally be turned off randomly and we would have to ask for it to be turned back on. Not to mention, out room had BED BUGS!!!!
BOTH my sister and I woke up with clusters of red dots and welts all over our body two days in a row. The staff was no receptive and told us this is the FIRST they’ve heard about this. They refused to comp us a night or two when we asked politely and only replied with a “sorry about that”.

We were beyond disappointed that two we both saved up to enjoy a few days off of work and school together turned into such a terrible ending to our trip.

After checking out early because we were grossed out of the “resort” we went to a local restruant and while speaking to some staff they had actually left working at Marigot bay dive resort because they already knew it had bed bugs and guest complained all the time!!!!

An amazing location that you take a small ferry across the lagoon to get to. That was a really fun experience. With that said the first room we had was unacceptable. It was older and rundown and right underneath the noisy side area of the hotel. On our second day, we did request a new room which we were granted. This room was absolutely perfect. Beautiful view with a nice front porch with a view of the bay and spacious inside. Amenities were on the low end… And considering this is advertised as a dive hotel… There was no sign of any dive equipment, dive rentals, or any diving going on. The beach is small, but just adequate. No snorkel gear, canoes or kayaks available from the hotel. This was disappointing. When we checked in, we were told by Reception to come to Reception anytime for help booking excursions, etc. After two days of relaxing at the hotel, we were ready to take an excursion and went to the Reception for help. At that time We were told by the receptionist that she was new and not anble to help and we would need to return the next day to get help on any bookings of excursions or snorkeling gear. This was surprising and disappointing as our time at the hotel was starting to pass. The restaurant on site was good. We ate there four out of the six nights. Our other two meals we took the small ferry across the bay to the resort across the bay and enjoyed their Italian restaurant. That was very good. I suppose we would stay here again, but there is a learning curve.

This place left us stranded across from the hotel at night, telling us no one can come get us for the night, to just sleep over there. They made it clear we can call for a ride if we needed one, yet literally made us sleep on the beach for the night instead saying they cant do anything.

We also informed staff that we needed to be at the airport by 4am as our flight leaves at 5am. Next morning there is no one at the dock they left us there until 430 before bringing us across and we missed all our flights. They also were supposed to set up a taxi to bring us to the airport, but surprise.. no taxi either. The late night security at the hotel was sleeping on the pool table, i told him we need to go! He told us its not his problem he cant do anything, then processed to sneak off so we couldnt bother him again. They did nothing they said they were going to do and screwed us over multiple times. They asked if they could do housekeeping every other day, yet still didnt even show up to do anything but give us new towles. This is the worst hotel ive stayed at. Yes the area is beautiful but this facility is a JOKE. Stay somewhere else. I am requesting a full refund and to be compensated for my plane tickets home.

What an amazing crew of staff they have at the hotel…a few power and water issues. Which were resolved as quickly as possible. But this comes with the territory, i have stayed in other Caribbean countries and experienced same issues.
The ferry service to and from the hotel is faultless and like hotel staff are amazing people helpful people too.

I would recommend staying at the marigot beach hotel to anyone.

P.S i highly recommend Jakes barbers across the bay from hotel, if anyone needs that service during their stay💇‍♂️ top quality service.

Poor service in a H&S hazard

The property is very tired, poorly maintained and in need of an upgrade, shower didn't work (3 out of 4 rooms we used!) toilet leaked (2 room) - culminating in my husband getting an electrical shock of the bedside lamp - hotel not bothered changed lights and he had to insist to fill and incident form.
Dont get me wrong it's an amazing bay, but more 3* than 4 or 5 it deserves because they are still struggling post covid. No shops in the bay and $40 taxi to get just 10 mins up the hill to shops!

Only 2 restaurants (Chateau Mygo and JJ Mangrove) of the 5 we had access to gave good service or good food for the evening meals
Marigot Beach Club staff never once said good morning, continental breakfast at 8 is a joke - staff arrive at 8am and put out bread fruit and cakes - you get 2 eggs but have to pay for tomato in your omelette!?!?!

Beautiful bay, we wanted to dive and the Marigot dive centre is closed - wonder whether Soufriers or north past Castries would be better service and then day visit this bay - very sad :(

This property is run down ; has spotty internet; our Rose Cottage room with plunge pool was in disrepair. It leaked when it rained; the pool filter was not working; the electricity in the kitchen was spotty; you need to be in good shape to get to and from your room up the side of the steep hill; the staff does not help with luggage. Not the experience one would expect at this price. The food was average at best. The view however is spectacular. We moved to a VRBO across the way and it is top notch.

We arrived Christmas Day, and booked only a few days prior to our vacation. I read many reviews beforehand, and have to admit that nearly all of them came to fruition. However, we paid only a fraction of the cost of many of the surrounding resorts. We couldn’t believe how beautiful and serene the location was. Everyone was very nice - I truly think they are all doing their best. You need to go here with realistic
Expectations - if you’re looking for 5 star, book a 5 star. But if you’re looking for a tranquil, quiet, slow-paced getaway where you get to experience a bit of the culture, this is an awesome vacation. Be kind to the workers.. everyone was always apologizing to us when we hadn’t even complained...it’s clear that there are many complaints. It’s a beautiful place with wonderful people and we had nothing but positive interactions. We loved taking the ferry over to the other restaurants in the bay, especially Chateau Mygo where there was great service! The private resort beach, while small, was peaceful and no one bothers you there. There is a small shop near hurricane hole where you can pick up beer or wine or snacks to have in your room, other markets are a drive away. Catamaran tours can be arranged to pick you up and drop you off in the marina - front desk was very accommodating with making plans for us. I suggest bringing EC currency - USD is accepted but most prices are in EC and would make it easier. Overall a wonderful trip, we definitely want to come back!

The gym was outdated but provided an option to get a little workout in. The pool was nice and clean. The water and beach was fantastic. Delicious food and friendly staff! Great isolated resort for a peaceful stay. With access only by boat the vibe is laid back and satisfying. The scenery was continuously gorgeous without a bunch of boats blocking the view. Though the facility is not new and many of the Doolittles staff are not incredibly enthusiastic, the stay was well worth the price. Not the most luxurious in Marigot Bay, but if you are looking for secluded tranquility this resort may well fit your needs.

Beautiful, quiet, and convenient location at Marigot Bay in Saint Lucia. A semi-private beach is located adjacent to the resort, offering fantastic sunset views and a wide array of activities available in the area.

We enjoyed our stay, although the property would have benefited from some maintenance in both the room and overall facilities. We ran out of water in our room a few times, and paper towels were not provided for the kitchen. Other than that, the room had everything we needed.

In the common areas, the pool was not completely clean, and some of the beach chairs were dirty and falling apart. Most of the restaurant staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the breakfast included in the package. However, lunch and dinner options were extremely expensive, both at nearby restaurants and especially at the hotel's restaurant.

Overall, it was a good experience despite the negatives, as the location, weather, and friendly, welcoming locals made it worthwhile.

I want to start off by saying I had an amazing time in Saint Lucia, this is a beautiful island. The only terrible thing about my whole trip is this property. So where do I start, first I was left at the bay at midnight after getting back from the street party and fish fry at midnight. Security did not answer their phone to take me back to the resort on a ferry. Second the key to my room did not lock my room from the outside, third water ran out on me as I wash taking a shower. Like ran out and I had to use the bottled water I bought to rinse off. Also not once were my sheets changed the whole time I was there. I’m never staying here.

This was a beautiful property for enjoying my last two days in Saint Lucia. Unfortunately I had no power for about 7 hours upon my first day which resulted in me missing my school course online. However, it eventually got restored. Room was nice and clean. Reception staff was amazing, and so was staff in doolittles restaurant which is attached to the resort. My only complaint was the security guard Ian, at first he was friendly and nice but then it turned creepy. Every time I would walk by him he kept saying he wanted to see me tonight and wanted to see me later and hopes he sees me. This was too much for me and made me extremely uncomfortable as a solo female traveller that I wouldn’t be out of my room once it got dark due to this. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed five nights. I did not have running water for four of the five days, across three different water outages. I also had two power outages.

To accommodate me, they transferred me for two nights to a much cheaper room with a malfunctioning A/C and one day, I used a communal shower that multiple guests were using that also had a water shortage. One day, I had to use the restaurant bathroom because they couldn’t provide other options.

The staff lied to me that they would issue a credit for the water outages and claimed they never happened once I had flown back.

Awful experience that could have been resolved if the staff and management were honorable. Expedia even called on my behalf and they said hotel claimed issue never happened. When I confronted hotel management, they said Expedia misunderstood (which they billed to a language issue) and that I would be credited. As soon as I left their property, they reverted their position.

I’ve never encountered such a dishonest hotel management lacking empathy and decency before.

St. Lucia was beautiful, but this ruined it for me.

It's named \"Beach Club\" and there is only a small dirty public beach. The pool was out of service so we were on a tropical resort with no place to swim. Judge Judy was blasting on the room tv when we arrived. The room didn't have a place to put suitcases on other than the floor, the wifi and blow dryer didn't work, there was no hot water, and breakfast was awful. The people weren't friendly and it was over priced. This is the first negative review I have ever written but people need to know what they are getting.

The location is this resort's best asset. Excellent view across the bay with a calm beach that is perfect for swimming. You need to take the ferry to access the resort from the side of the bay that has the road access, marina, restaurants, etc., but the ferry takes 5 minutes and is constantly running, making this a non-issue. The property is dated, however, and the shower had minimal pressure and heat. The sliding door to the patio was barely usable. The restaurant had decent food but the service is hit or miss....although this is normal for the Caribbean to a certain extent.

Great view! Nice location, kayak on site, we enjoyed the Doo little restaurant, live music and friendly staff, although the rooms need a lot of upgrades, and cleaning. There were roaches and centipedes, a lot of mosquitos, missing propane tank to cook in the stove, coffee machine with an outlet that we couldn’t use.
It is a dive resort but the dive place is for rent.
Food was good but overpriced.
The massage we got at the hotel’s Spa was really good!
Overall We enjoyed all the tours we did at Saint Lucia!

The beach at the resort and the calm water for swimming are lovely. But this resort is poorly managed and it's too bad as the setting is amazing. There are a few really good staff here who are hardworking, welcoming and helpful. Many seem uninterested in their jobs or in serving the guests.

Not for you if you have trouble with stairs - there are lots of them.

Not for you if you like a quiet place. The restaurant loves to play the loud music they enjoy, but not all the guests seem to enjoy it.

Next door, on the public beach, are an unruly gang of guys who smoke dope all day, while renting out beach chairs etc. One night they played really loud music, disco level until 1am. Then the roosters start a few hours later.

I hope the General Manager - we were there for a week and never saw him - reads this and offers his staff some customer service training and praises the good ones (Ricky, Martin, Flavia and Jean).

Maybe pay the staff more, or do something to increase the level of service.

One morning our shower didn't work, the toilet flooded twice, then the water was off completely. Couldn't even brush our teeth. Went down to the bar to ask for some water and the bar manager insisted on charging me $5 USD for the bottle of water.

The office later apologized.

Do something about the gang next door. Feels unsafe over there. The resort advised us to call the police if we were troubled by the noise. Not helpful.

The location is spectacular . We enjoyed the waterfront location and the views. The property is dated. The restaurant food was fair, but the service was slow. The meals were served in an uncoordinated manner. We were a group of 6 and this unnecessarily stretched out the time spent in the restaurant. One morning breakfast took over 2 hours, and only four of us required food.

Marigot bay is absolutely beautiful the resort is on a steep hill by the bay and beach. Our view was perfect. George was so helpful on giving us information and help. He is the best!! The resort is isolated so it is relaxing. You can arrange excursions from the resort We loved this place

This property is NOT what the pictures show you. Be warned. The Beach is not really a beach. There is a very small beach area but all the locks get to use it and they do not let up with catcalls, selling their wares and trying to get you drinks with inflated prices or sell drugs. The Bay itself is beautiful. The hotel is not maintained. There was a lightning my room that never turned off but couldn't get anyone to change the bulb on the stairs to my room (Dangerous!). I left the hotel midway through my stay because there were no services nearby. excursions we're going to cost extra because a taxi had to be arranged to at least Castries. There are about three restaurants available and none of them offer the same exchange rate. I highly suggest using a credit card because the exchange rate can be as low as 2:1 or slightly lower in one case for me. The bed is very hard and not comfortable, the shower tiny and the water sprayed through the curtain and onto the floor into the main sleeping area. There was no one to offer any explanation of the grounds at check in..i.was thrust some paperwork on my arrival and given a room key and someone walked me to the room but had no idea where anything else was. Met the owner who did not know I was leaving and heard him refer to the place as a *cuss word*. I'm not the only one who changed accomodations during my stay! It was that bad. Oh, and I was not given a refund for the nights I did not stay there. I caution you not to book this property!

Very unique property, with a lot of history. Beautiful ceilings, four poster beds, big decks for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Water taxi to take you to and from what felt like your own private island. We had an amazing snorkelling trip with Dive Fair Helen - it was like taking a marine biology class with Andre. Happy we had the opportunity to have such a unique experience.

This property is on a hill and therefore many stairs not suitable for young children in my opinion .You have to take a ferry ride to the property and if you wish to leave the ferry has to be arranged especially if it’s very early or late but the staff will work with you and arrange. There are food spots close by.It’s definitely not a resort type property .Property is over grown and needs maintenance You do however get a decent amount of space for the price .It’s a dive spot so I suppose if that’s your area on interest then it’s fine .

Home not at all professional. The staff don't care about you, they are always playing with their cell phones. We paid 2 nights very expensive in a panorama suite. As soon as we arrived we noticed that there was a problem with the plumbing in the bathroom. There was a loud noise that repeated every 5 minutes. Impossible to sleep even with kies balls. We asked to be moved the next morning, this was done very late in the day around 4.30pm. We were relocated to a lower range room. We asked for compensation and to see a supervisor. We were driven around in circles throughout our stay. Also the hotel restaurant is very expensive and the quantities very small. I do not recommend this establishment not at all professional

The food in Dolittle Restaurant was excellent what I ordered. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
The restaurant patrons was very friendly. I seemed like home. The reviews that I saw gave me a different picture

We just returned on 5/3/23. The property is very old. Need much upgrade. The rooms are very old and out dated. It is very hilly. The tiles on the walk way to our room is cracked and very dangerous. There was no light Our room was up on a hill and at night we had to use our phone to walk up. My husband and I fell a few times. We are in our 50s and very healthy and this was very difficulty for us sometimes.

They only have one restaurant and the service is very very slow and its very expensive.

Everything is very far from this hotel. The staffs give you looks when you ask a questions.

I booked this resort because it's a \"dive\" resort. The dive center is no longer in operation, so I was extremely disappointed. The room was nice, but the kitchen was practically unusable. The stove wouldn't light, there's no microwave, there were barely any dishes or cooking utensils. We had to buy paper plates, napkins, and plastic utensils. The pool wasn't working for two days. It was so tiny that we didn't bother to use it when it was working. In the bar area the pool tables are old and very worn. The \"business center\" was non existent. The internet only worked when sitting outside on the balcony. The shower didn't drain properly, so we were ankle deep in water while showering. The office/reception area was closed many times during daytime hours which made booking excursions difficult. When we arrived they told us we owed money even though I showed them I paid for this reservation in full when I booked it. They insisted that my receipt didn't prove it was paid for. I had to contact Travelocity to get this resolved. The ferry that takes people to the mainland didn't seem to have a real schedule. The owner, Dave, sat at the bar every night which made us think he may be more interested in getting sloshed than in maintaining the property.

Beautiful location. Although parts of the propertry need some TLC, our unit was in good condition, very clean and fairly (if minimally) well equipped. The on-site restaurant was very good and all the resort staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Supply your own coffee filters! The fitness amenities were not available (result of Covid?) but the diver center is great (shoutout to Vanessa!) We would return in a heartbeat.

Cons: I won't go deeply into no wi-fi because it apparently is spotty all over. Things just don't work the same as we are accustom to, so really no sense in complaint. Go with the flow. Our refrigerator croaked, they really got to that quickly.

But Doolittles. Really. You have a nice staff, beautiful views, but the food. No. Just say no, and your body will thank you.

The location of the property and the view were very good, the ferry was unique and very good, and the staff were generally very helpful and friendly, except our particular room had a balcony that did not have shade and we requested at the reception desk to change to a covered outdoor room numerous times during our 8-day stay, to no avail, even though we could see our neighbors -- who had shade -- departed and we were not offered their room. otherwise everything was fine.

Enjoyed my stay at the Marigot Beach Club and dive resort. Stayed in the Grande Studio and it was great, the bed was alright, fridge kept our drinks cold and the tv and wifi worked well in our room. The bathroom had a good shower with multiple shower tap options..main overhead, hose, and 6 lil knobs in the wall for a body soak! Great big balcony. Sweet property, lush greenery all around, lots of tree frogs and snails around at night! Nice hiking trail at the top of the property, take the stairs by the tram to the top and you'll see a sign. There is also alright snorkeling at the western point of the resort, snorkel around the man made rock wall or step over the back wall and enter over the lil rocks. Go out a bit and soon you'll come across big rocks and some coral. I found an octopus. Boats all stayed far away. The beach at the front of the resort is very easy swimming for kids, not deep or no waves. And if you enjoy a lil smokable fun you can see the rasta's at the marigot beach next door, they were easy going ppl, very friendly and respectful if you politely say no. May only complaint would be the restaurant, slow service, paying quite a bit for meals, and not getting full. Was glad we could order multiple sides on our dinners. The Do sizzle mahi mahi and salmon was alright, the whipped potatoes and onion rings were great! Breakfast buffet was a lil pricey but you can get your moneys worth on eggs, bacon and french toast! Breakfast cook was awesome she's very happy person!

Room 15a the toilet did not flush and the pumped water and sewage system kept trying to pump all night, outside the wall behind our bed!! Ferry/porter was very helpful especially as we left at 5.30am the next morning. Visit spoilt by poor accommodation

We live here in St lucia and went to Marigot go for an overnight getaway staycation. The facilities were run down but clean. The water for the shower didn’t work but the toilet flushed thankfully. We ordered pizza and it had no sauce… Who does that?! It made it very dry and we couldn’t even finish it. Breakfast was decent enough though. The saving grace was that the service was very good and the people took good care of us. We’d be happy to give it another try if we knew that they had upgraded the facilities and made a few changes. All in all not good not bad just meh.

The staff was excellent, great servers and grounds staff. The found us a great water taxi driver named Alex who gave us great deal on a short private (family of 4) snorkel tour, simple, we brought our gear, water food he provided the boat and took us to two great places.
Gorge is great, he wears many hats from ferry driver to yards keeper.
