Wonderful small resort on a clean safe beach. The property is immaculately maintained. The staff was friendly, competent, and so helpful. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Easy access to Castries and Rodney Bay where there is great shopping and dining. You will need a rental car or taxis. Walked is really not an option.

This place was super lovely. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The beach is right at your door step and they have kayaks for you to use. There is a restaurant on site with pretty good food. It is far from the main airport and there is nothing walkable but they are super helpful is getting a car for you that will usually wait to bring you back. The cars aren’t cheap but a small price to pay to be right on the beach and have it not cost a fortune. They will also help you plan any day trips and restaurant reservations. My one complaint is the showers could use an upgrade and it is very hard to find the right temperature. But that’s minor and I would definitely recommend this place.

This is a fantastic property. I went for relaxation and had it in abundance. I spent the days reading and dipping in and out of the ocean and pool. It is well maintained both inside the rooms and around the property. The staff are polite and respectful, with smiles on their faces. The on site services mean you do not have to leave if you do not want to! This will now be my go to when staying in St Lucia. Highly recommended

Cons: Inconsistent charges to the room that sometimes need to be rectified/addressed. Outrageously high taxi fares (in general).

Special shout out to Richie who was our driver for the week. He is the gold standard for professionalism, courtesy, and hospitality. I hope management understands what an asset he is and treats him accordingly. Same for Malcolm and Adela in the kitchen/bar; A-class people who deserve everything good in the world. A hotel is all about the level of service it provides to its guests, as that can literally make or break a good vacation experience. These staff members represented Villa Beach extremely well. Dear, Colin, Dexter, and Management, if you read this, please take this into consideration when your next staff review cycles come around.

Notable mention to the front desk ladies as well, who were all pleasant, courteous, and helpful whenever we needed to inquire about anything.

I would return to the property with a rental vehicle so that I could have more flexibility and save on transportation. The island has some of the highest taxi fares that I have seen in the world. I guess it is all relative.

Excellent facilities, location, rooms and the cleaning staff were absolutely fantastic. The beach view was extremely stunning and it is the perfect beach to take a morning swim or walk. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed for our holiday. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in St Lucia. Absolutely terrific!

Quaint hotel by the beach. Not too many people so you have privacy in the pool and beach. We had the 2 BR deluxe villa. It had a balcony. Once you leave the balcony, the pool is there and then the stairs to the beach is there. Property was very clean. The owner takes time to speak with guests and provides history of the place. Best place to see the sunset everyday. The supermarket and KFC are a few mins away by car. Restaurants are 15-20 mins away. The only drawbacks were you had to ask for the mini mart to be opened and put food order in early at the restaurant because it can be a longer wait than you are accustomed to. We will definitely stay there again. We didn’t cook or use the kitchen so I am not able to review that part. We also didn’t get a chance to do the massage or the free kayaking and paddle boards.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Village Beach Cottages ! The atmosphere is welcoming,peaceful & relaxing. It is a lovely property with beautiful views & very friendly people who looked after us so well. Austin was waiting for us at the airport & Claudius was there to take us back when it was time to say goodbye to St Lucia. Everything was looked after.

We learned a lot about the island & history of the property from owner Colin Hunte. He asked us what we’d like to see & do during our stay then gave us maps & suggestions. We only had to speak to the lovely ladies at reception & they booked taxis, tours & restaurant reservations. A special thank you to Chatelle for her kind help & to Richie who was an excellent driver/tour guide.

We appreciated having a well equipped kitchen & had most of our meals on our spacious second floor porch overlooking the pool & ocean. ( We had two delicious meals at the on-site restaurant as well). The sound of the surf & the beautiful view were a constant balm to the soul. Could even enjoy the view from bed.
Loved walking the beach ,swims in the ocean & pool & watching the sunset every night as well. We stayed in a standard suite which was spacious, comfortable & very clean.

We loved our stay at Villa Beach Cottages & were talking about “next time”before we even left. Would definitely recommend!

Clean room, some wear and tear. Very basic kitchen appliances only and no extras like cooking oil, sugar, or any spices. No paper towels.
However the little market offered these things and there was a nearby grocery store.
The dinners were excellent.
Very close to the road but on the ocean side you only hear the waves. The room on the sie facing the room can be loud with road noise. Beach is nice and right there. Sandals resort is next door.
Overall pleasant stay and it served its purpose for what we needed, which was two bedrooms and2 bathrooms and a nice space right on the beach

We loved our time at Villa Beach Cottages. My daughter and I travel together and love to have our own space. We stayed in a 2BR cottage with the most lovely beach view. The kitchen and living area were great for us as we bought groceries and ate some meals and snacks in the cottage.

The pool area was always clean and never crowded, and most of the time, we had the beach to ourselves, too.

The staff are all welcoming, the food in the restaurant is tasty, and the location is perfect for visits on the north side of the island and is convenient for grocery shopping!

Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Friendliest accommodations we have ever stayed at. Staff knew our names instantly, the assistance we received was outstanding. Our boat tour that I had prebooked cancelled on us last minute. The front desk staff had me booked on a new tour instantly. We rented our own car, in hindsight I wish I would have rented from Villa Beach Cottages (they pick you up and return you to airport) would have been lovely. Our room was huge and had a wonderful veranda. Would stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back and I would probably split the stay between their two sister properties. We hired a private driver, arranged by VBC for one day, that was an excellent decision. They show you things you would never find on your own. We did very little cooking in the villa, just breakfast. But we did eat a couple times at the little restaurant on site, was good. Do note that a car or a driver is a must. You cannot walk to other restaurants or venues traffic is busy and there are no sidewalks. There is a safe in your room and security at the gate, never once did we feel unsafe. Beautiful island, wonderful villa, lovely people. just go and enjoy yourself. Hope to return once day. Kim & Barry

This is a wonderful small hotel directly on the beach. Our two bedroom suite had a kitchen with everything we needed, a wonderful view of the water and a large patio overlooking the pool and ocean. The staff was wonderful and helpful and there is a lovely little restaurant and bar on site. They were very helpful with suggestions for activities and booked a private driver for a day out for us. We rented a car and made a few trips to the supermarket to have groceries in our room but it’s a quick taxi ride away and the hotel also offers a service to shop for you. It had everything we needed - a beautiful, quiet beach, a pool and spacious room with a view and location right by the water. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property . Unfortunately every time you want to leave the property is a $20 return taxi trip . Walking is not safe .
The pools are very cold , the hot tub did not work .
Onsite restaurant ok , my food was dry . Morning restaurant staff were not friendly , seemed to resent being there .
So all in all , the beautiful property did not make up for the loss of amenities .

This was our second visit and it was everything we remember great staff.
We had talked friends to come with us and the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa worked out very well with the large patio we would have dinner and the play cards under the stars listening to the waves
The villa is clean with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea.
We mostly cooked our own meals with the fully equipped kitchen and we did a per order of groceries that was wait for us on arrival.
On our first day we did order dinner from the little restaurant on site which was awesome.
I can’t say enough with great St Lucia weather quite beach steps away and the great staff that make you fell like family

All was good until we went to bed and the frogs was so loud outside I did not sleep any and so close to the highway that the traffic noise is terrible too. The experience started with the driver who we requested pick up from the hotel. Vaughn was knowledgeable and made the 90 minute ride from the airport enjoyable and we learned about the islands history as he drove us to the hotel. Cinesa at the front check in desk is friendly and helpful. Colin the owner greeted us like family. Our room which is 1 of 16 cottages on this very secured property is lovely. Only concern was the water knobs could give the temperature needed because it was a little faulty. The pancakes were heavenly at the small outdoor Coconuts restaurant on the property. Overall very pleasant experience. Will definitely return.

First and foremost the staff was amazing. Cherisa was unbelievable. Best service/care I’ve ever experienced. She took us under her care right away with exceptional service and never looked back. Our sons got sick and she had a doctor at our door almost immediately. It turned out to be really severe and she had them continuously helping. Made all the difference. Had a taxi whenever we needed it, tour right away. Everything was handled and she was so kind and courteous. Checking in immediately and consistently. The general manager was great too helping with the doctors.
The doctors were so wonderful and have continued to check in with us weeks after we left.
Can’t say enough about the service and care provided.

Loved staying at Villa Beach Cottages. It has a real family feel. Pretty cozy and not super busy. The beach access is great. The hammock provided many hours of relaxation. Wish there were better water sports or activities to do on the property. The one restaurant (Shout out to Ms Adela) provides adequate food options but after a few days, we were looking forward to food away from the property. The drivers (Ritchie and Bicette) they arranged for us were great. They were friendly and protective and wanted to ensure we had the best experiences in St. Lucia. The suggested tour by Mr. Carlton was very comprehensive and we got to see and experience many things because of his suggestions. So very appreciated. The rooms were decorated so lovely with flowers and a little personalized touch. The staff will do whatever they can to make sure you have what is needed. Shout out to Chelsea for her calm and joyful demeanor in the front. Overall, I would love to stay again. If you are looking for a quiet (expect at night, some crazy loud bugs were around) place to stay on the beach with pool access and not wanting to leave for much, stay here.

Stunning location with direct access to the beautiful beach. Incredibly warm welcoming staff. From the moment we arrived at reception to the moment we checked out people could not have been more helpful.
Gorgeous villa, immaculately clean, the two room villa with a twin room ideal for our family of four.
Breakfasts were wonderful and we loved the freshly cooked to order variety of yummy fayre. although the buttermilk pancakes became a regular feature.
All in all, a truly lovely place and one we hope to return to in the future.

The people are what make a place; and this is exactly true at the Villa Beach Cottages. Friendly, kind and helpful. Space was comfortable. Easy access to Castries and the south. Always felt secure and safe as a solo traveler. Nice beach (don't expect white sand everywhere as this island is built from volcanic ash similar to Costa Rica). Easy access to tour operations and taxis (have some site staff to help - a friendly face). If you want off the beaten path and super quiet maybe stay off/away from direct beach access hotels (this is a small island so expect some noise during day-time hours as the highway runs close to all the hotels and villas; you may prefer to stay in the hills and drive yourself). Overall had a lovely time and would come again.

The property was amazing, a complete gem nestled in Choc Bay. It is just as wonderful in person as in the photos and the staff are so welcoming, they really do treat you as one of the family. We stayed with our young family and it was perfect, with the sea right on our doorstep. You can really tell that they take pride in the property and enjoy ensuring all their guests have a wonderful stay. What an island and what a place to stay!

Villa Beach Cottages is one of the most pleasant places we've stayed - all-inclusive/its relatives are not our thing. We are looking for home base, which led us here. This was such an amazing find. The cottage was clean with a well stocked kitchen we took advantage of numerous times (Massy Supermarket is .5 miles south). We have zero complaints about the lovely room or its sufficient provisions. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Look at the pictures of the beach.

This place is amazing because of its people. We like family owned places because they treat you like guests of the family and take care of anything you need. Set up a roundtrip taxi to Gros Piton the evening before? Done (if you need a taxi, ask them to get Claudius for you if he's available, he's awesome). Dinner reservations in a couple hours? Easy. Make it an hour earlier just because the kids are hungry? Yeah, they took care of that too.

The best advice for doing local things the right way? Can't beat this front desk. We primarily dealt with Nicole and Shareesa (I am embarrassed that I might be doing a disservice to one or both spellings), but everyone we came across was wonderful - the kind of people you want to tell about your day. Adela, chef at the restaurant, is one of the sweetest people we've met. Her food is some of the savoriest we've had.

Let's not forget Colin, the GM. A good soul with the gift of conversation.

The entire staff was amazing and treated us like family. This was our first trip and it didn’t end the way we had hoped. The staff was so helpful and friendly and Christian! !

The location is great especially if you have a car or the folks at the lodge will set up a driver for you. The beach is steps away, the pool is clean and the grounds are well kept.

The property Sits on the beach, literally outside your door. The beach is clean & beautiful but u do have some vendors trying to get you to purchase which can become annoying. The property doesn’t have a bathroom on the main floor so you must go back
To your cottage. The kitchen was very basic and with extremely kind staff.
