This hotel is ok. Love the location... close enough to the airport and very close to the beach.

Check in is unecessarily slow and should be more online. Staff are mostly friendly. I booked a suite but I don't believe a suite was given. Interior of the room needs renovating. Chipped furnishings and floors need re grouting. Fridge was provided in room but was completely empty which i thought was odd for an all inclusive not to provide at least bottled water in the rooms.

I sent a message about a birthday booking prior to my arrival which was ingored even when i asked at the desk.

Bar staff are nice.

Restaurant is tricky to review. The food, especially at dinner is beautiful however service was painfully slow and small portions. Its off season so not a lot of guests but even drinks and coffee at breakfast took far too long. There should be some buffet items because the wait times for basic breakfast food really was ridiculous.

Shower worked but the head was not movable so incredibly awkward to shower. Toillet was wobbly and stopped flushing during our 2 day stay. Was fixed but just goes to show maintainance required.

Finally we barely slept because of loud dogs Just off the property. You can see them from the balcony. Not the hotels fault but the room needs sound proofing as a permanent issue. 1am 3am 5am... non stop barking. I also didn't notice that level of barking during the day.

The food saves the hotel. Everything else needs work. Overpriced for what you get

The staff was friendly and accommodating at Soco House.They truly made our week in Saint Lucia. The pool was lovely ( though shaded seats saved too early and saved for the day. ) There were no fans in the bathroom, so drying towels and bathing suits was difficult. Massage at spa was outstanding. Food was very good. “Island time” made some food delivery slower than expected. Dessert was small. Again, the staff was excellent. The bar tender Yanell and restaurant employee George and Eloise were excellent and always made us smile.

Will lead with value, for 12 days, the price was the lowest on the island. Food was excellent, lots of people complained about the wait, but we didn’t experience that in the 12 days we were there.

I enjoyed my stay here! I traveled solo and this was a great option for me for a calm and relaxing stay.
Although some of the reviews are true, the service staff is sort of slow. As well as the need for a bit of update on some of the furniture, linens and infrastructure. But none the less; it is still a good hotel. The drinks were great and food was 3.5/5.

One thing I was kind of upset about was the lack of clarity on the chairs reserved on the beach for Soco House guests. I only found out on my last day there after having paid $10 for a chair 2 days before. Please make sure to ask about that because the guys on the beach will jump at the chance to charge you for a chair.

The Keys to our room didn’t work and the lock was broken which left a small crack in door because it couldn’t close completely. However, we understand that things happen so there was no need for a big fuss since we were only there for one night. The staff was super nice & friendly. Also, we got there late after a long travel day so when the restaurant served our food so quickly it was a plus.

This is a motel with a lacking (terrible) all inclusive amenity. Most staff was miserable, clearly did not want to be there. We had a terrible time start to finish. When we arrived we were told there was no running water. And it happened again the next night. We waited over 40 minutes for a fruit plate for breakfast and ended up leaving before it came to make a scheduled excursion. In the middle of the night the bathroom sink turned on and nearly flooded, we were very confused by this. There was black mold in the bathroom ceiling, the bathroom door was falling apart, the tv remote barely worked. The only things that really were ok were the AC in the room and a fairly comfortable bed…Not as advertised and everything was uncared for. The overall vibe of the hotel was a sad senior citizen community. The surrounding area is all very impoverished with trash everywhere and dilapidated housing developments. We did day passes at sandals grande (10/10) to get away and then ended up just buying another hotel to save our trip.

Room was outdated and had a leaking issue from the fridge. We lost hot water one day and the hotel seemed to have water issues (in general). The pictures on Expedia don’t match the hotel in person. The food options are limited and slow.

Room was sufficient only complaint was lack of outlet in bathroom and no shower curtain or door so water spays onto floor making it slippery. Food was good but service was very slow. Resort ran short on water but didn’t warn customers they should reserve water to help conserve as guest would likely assist. Ran out of coconut rum for 3 days so I couldn’t drink what I wanted which is not good when paying for all inclusive. Would have made guest happy if they would have ran to grocery store and bought a few bottles until their delivery arrived. Most all staff were super nice and helpful but there were a couple that were lazy and didn’t want to go out of their way to help.

Very unique, small resort with pleasant atmosphere. Staff is very friendly, helpful.
Ronet was very attentive and super helpful. Aloise, Precious and other ladies at restaurant were always cheerful, friendly.
Beach is a few minutes to walk, clear emerald water with nice yellow sand.
Food was delicious, always different options.

Great hotel in Rodney bay, literally 3 short minutes walk from Reduit beach. The staff is EXCELLENT, LOCATION SUPERB AND THE FOOD DELICIOUS. The one area for improvement is the TIMELY service. The wait in the dining room can be long, long enough to diminish the good food and nuce staff.

The hotel is clean the foods is good but my only complaint it’s the menu is restricted. My freezer in my room didn’t work and they have a tv without option for channels. Love the beach, love the famous Friday night . It was an excellent week there. Thx for your hospitality.

The hotel upon arrival is beautiful. The staff helped us with our bags to our room. The room was nice - bathroom needs an upgrade and so does the bed. We had issues when we had to wait over 90mins to get dinner on multiple nights. One night after dinner - we had to order dominos pizza (only place that was open). Our dinner plates were small. We were able to get our breakfast on time on days we had excursions. For an all inclusive hotel - it did not feel like it. The bar ran out of alcohol and was not replaced. We had to go offsite if we got hungry because you could only eat at certain times. There was only one restuarant on site. I did like that they gave us a cooler with drinks for the beach. The beach was very close. I expected a lot from an all inclusive hotel but was very disappointed. Eloise,Cleopha, Warner and Cres were great.

The room was brilliant—spotlessly clean, comfortable, fairly big, and perfectly positioned with a lovely view overlooking the pool.

Its closeness to the beach made everything even better, creating an ideal setting for relaxation. What truly elevated the experience was the staff.

They were attentive, kind, understanding, and consistently went above and beyond. Anything you needed within reason was met with a warm smile and genuine willingness to help.
The team was fantastic, and their hospitality reflected the spirit of St. Lucia itself.

St. Lucians are incredibly warm, friendly people who make you feel right at home.

The gym was tucked away on the top floor of the hotel and the air conditioner did not work. Half of the equipment also did not work. We were there for 2 weeks and can't take a lot if sun so we needed to use gym.
Pool was great and we were usually the only 2 in the pool at dusk.
The restaurant got progressively less organized with often long waits as hotel capacity increased. Food was mostly delicious but inconsistent( same items on menu that we ordered on another day were completely different) . At least one meal per day we received something we had not ordered and a few times, we did not receive what we had ordered at all!
The housekeeping staff member, Frances, was terrific. She asked every day what we needed or would like and she told us when she had a day off and who would see to our needs.
The majority of the staff were very helpful and often asked how the service was- it seemed a constant theme of them trying to get favorable ratings for the hotel.
When we arrived we were shown 2 rooms to choose from and as we had paid extra for an upgrade with an outside area, we did choose that one. We would have been disappointed especially for a 2 week stay without a balcony or ground floor outside area!

Soco House is a nice, small boutique hotel that my fiancé and I truly enjoyed overall. The staff, especially the women, were very kind and accommodating.

The rooms did have some minor issues and felt a bit dated in certain areas; however, this was not a major concern for us. The food on the resort was actually very tasty. That said, the service time was extremely slow. Breakfast, consisting of two eggs and two sausage links, consistently took about an hour and 28 minutes each morning. Dinner service was also very lengthy—we often skipped dessert because we were already seated for over two hours, with food taking roughly an hour and 45 minutes to arrive.

While St. Lucia is understandably laid-back, the lack of urgency in service was noticeable. With additional training in customer service and time management, this could be greatly improved. Due to the extended wait times, we often felt it was better to dine off the resort, even at a higher cost.

We did have a good time overall, but based on our experience, this is not a resort we would choose to return to.

Thank goodness we were leaving when we did because a group of rowdy football fans came in our last night so we only had to listen to them one night. I like that the bar shuts down at 11 pm because it made people less likely to get polluted.

The food menu is the same everyday for breakfast, every two day for supper, with only one restaurant offered at the hotel. The beach is walking distance but a bit of a track to get to the spot where the chairs sre. The chairs are old and very uncomfortable. The resort is right down from town which is nice so we had supper and lunch outside the hotel pretty much everyday. The beds were nice and the staff was nice. Just wasn’t quite what I was expecting being to other all inclusives in the Caribbean.

No nightlife, no entertainment. There are some restaurants within walking distance but even the town seems dead. The beach water is nice but you have to walk about a block and a half to get to it and then the vendors there will give you the most beat-up chairs on the beach which are contracted by the hotel. Over all we were not pleased with the all-inclusive we booked.

When we got there its like oh wow beautiful hotel, upon checking in we were told no smoking in the rooms cause that will be a fine and thats understandable. But we wasn't worried because we had a balcony. Then we were told no smoking on the property when they saw us sitting outside with our vape.

I went to the front desk and was given attitude by the main lady. She said you can go smoke out in front of the hotel. I told her one of the reasons we booked this hotel was because its ADULTS ONLY but its not given that! We were basically treated like kids. And they should let people know its a NONSMOKING HOTEL else i wouldn't have booked this resort.

As for the food the only good thing there was breakfast, don't count on having a good lunch or dinner! We and other guests ate off the resort everyday. Now if you're 65 and older you'll love this place. No activities for the guests No vibes no nothing, but relaxation..

Sorry for the staff, they are to young and vibrant to be working in such a boring establishment. I swear on the first day if i could've gotten a refund and go somewhere else we would have been gone! There's alot more i can say but I've said enough, book at your own risk!!!!!

Check-in day revealed issues immediately. Room furniture was old and damaged, with very few hangers. Bathroom was clean but had no power outlets, which made hair styling inconvenient. Shower water was warm, but pressure was uncomfortably strong. While ironing, power went out in the room. Maintenance fixed it after 45 minutes.
Breakfast all-inclusive but à la carte only. No buffet and very limited menu. Porridge was tasty, fruit portions tiny, and waiting times long. Eggs Benedict came in a very small portion and slightly overcooked. English breakfast was basic.
Beach is a 7-minute walk. Nice view, but many vendors. Hotel loungers were old and damaged, and “staff” expected a tip just to point them out.
Lunch and dinner service was inconsistent. Shepherd’s pie was bland, Chicken Alfredo under-seasoned. Dessert once took nearly an hour and never arrived. Service felt poor despite low occupancy and many staff.
Pool area was fine, loungers comfortable. Drinks were okay, but old plastic cups looked questionable. Wi-Fi was weak at parts of the pool but good elsewhere.
Some positives: excellent cheese tasting, tasty ribs dinner, good fish burger, beautiful sunsets, and an outstanding catamaran tour ($135, highly recommended).
Repeated issues included very slow service, missing items, water outages in rooms, unchanged menus, and poor New Year’s Eve organization. Food quality was generally okay; the main problem was service coordination and management.
Overall: mixed feelings.

To call this hotel All inclusive, is a bad joke. breakfast, lunch and dinner all bad. You order from the menu. 3 app, 5 main 2 deserts.
Same menu for 2 days and a lot of the items especially app and deserts are no longer available, even on the first day of the menu’s debut, at 6 pm opening time.
The food is the worst food I have ever experienced in a hotel. Pure quality, design, small portions. We wanted to have a plate of french fries, because we were hungry, and was slightly disappointed of the quality of the food, and we have been told, we have to pre order it the night before. Wait what?????
Bred horrible, toast cold and dry at the time of serving, i can go on and on, because I couldn’t believe what I experienced.
The staff was a hit or miss, some girls in the restaurant were nice and kind, others just rude. I ordered a virgin pina colada at the pool bar, and I wanted a second one, and i was told that I should have ordered at the same time.
The hotel itself is kind of charming, but far not as the photos. Falling apart. Non of the dresser’s drawers we’re working, the bathroom was a mess.
Seriously be aware when booking. Its ok, but not the beautiful white and blue boutique place you might imagine. And the food is a disaster

My stay at Soco House in St. Lucia was nothing short of amazing. As a solo female traveler, feeling safe, comfortable, and genuinely welcomed is extremely important to me—and Soco House exceeded every expectation.

From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and relaxing. The property is beautifully maintained, intimate, and perfectly located near Rodney Bay, making it easy to explore while still feeling like a peaceful retreat.

I want to give a special thank you to Eloise, who truly made my stay unforgettable. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, always checking in to ensure I was comfortable and enjoying my experience. Her energy and care made me feel seen, supported, and completely at ease—something that means a lot when traveling alone.

The food was delicious (I’m currently still thinking about the blackened tuna and bread and butter pudding), the rooms were clean and modern, and the overall vibe of the hotel was calm yet social enough if you want to connect with others. I felt safe at all times, and the staff went above and beyond to create a welcoming environment.
I would highly recommend Soco House to solo travelers, especially women looking for a luxurious yet comfortable all-inclusive experience in St. Lucia. I’m already looking forward to returning!

We chose SoCo House based on strong reviews and its “adults-only, all-inclusive” promise, but our experience was deeply disappointing.

“Adults-only” seemed to translate to liquor being available 24/7, while food was extremely limited. There is only one restaurant with a very small menu, long wait times, and food is available only during short breakfast, lunch, and dinner windows. Outside of those hours, there is no food available at all, which is not what most people expect from an all-inclusive resort.

There were no on-site activities or entertainment. Guests mostly stayed in their rooms or left the property for excursions. The beach is not on-site and requires a walk through local streets, which can feel uncomfortable, especially later in the day.

The front desk staff was not helpful, and our room had multiple broken amenities, which were not properly addressed. Overall, the property did not meet four-star standards in service, amenities, or experience.

We were honestly surprised given the positive reviews and can only assume something has changed (management, operations, or standards). Unfortunately, this stay did not live up to its description or ratings, and we would not recommend SoCo House for a vacation.

Staff and meals were wonderful, pool loungers should not be saved all day when people are not using them. Beach loungers were fabulous, and available. Beach loungers were finally cleaned. This adult only resort was a great with good food, but the menu doesn’t have too many food options. There is one restaurant in the resort and sometimes there is a waitlist to eat. The staff are very friendly and professional. Yes I would go there again.

I recently stayed at the resort and while we really enjoyed our time at Soco House, I think there are a couple of things worth mentioning. The food menu was not what we thought it would be for an all-inclusive resort. We were not prepared to have the same food choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additionally, the AC in my room was not working properly, which made things a bit uncomfortable and there was no ventilation or AC inside of the bathroom. Despite what was lacking the staff was amazing, very kind and helpful. The hotel provided free drinks and ice coolers during the day whether you were going to the beach or taking a trip around town. The beach was literally a quick walk across the road and there was plenty of parking for those with rental cars. Overall, it was not a bad stay.

the beach that's close by is great along with staff. There needs to be more clear instructions on the pool using because few ppl would say use it after hrs and then some no! The food selection could be better and more local switch up breakfast add more st Lucian food. Make it known that the bar close at 11 also tell the Karen's it's an adult only don't go here if you wanna sleep early 🙄 the shower needs a door it's gross after showers it gets wet everywhere. There was a roach in our room. I understand that they were in process of new management the old one was rude for no reason. Add some activities not only the night it's to mingle with mgmt because this was boring you had to find things to do outside of hotel. Also make it easier to be able to take away food if going on an excursion and add snacks for free somewhere for guest! Shout out to the cleaner our bed was made everyday even when we slept in! I was planning to go to Barbados soco but now I ahve 2nd thoughts. The chef needs to do better that so call jerk chicken was white as sand the Jamaican was not happy bout that. You have to pay to get laundry done.

The only good thing about this place was the staff, they were very friendly. Other than that, I did not enjoy my stay here. The rooms are extremely outdated where the walls were dripping water especially if the a/c is off. There were files in two of the rooms they put me in and a gecko in the third one. The food was awful - bland, overcooked, soggy and looked like there was no care put into the presentation. You know it’s bad when every table is using salt and pepper at every meal! There were also unnecessary globs of tartar sauce the first two fish dinners I had (sautéed tuna and Mahi Mahi). The food only got better when the owners daughter arrived on site.
The cushions for all the pool chairs were heavily stained and unsanitary looking. The bathroom toiletries were not replaced regularly and breach room was inconsistent - one had a soap dish, the other room didn’t. One room had just a sheet whole others had fully made beds. I called during the night for a blanket and the guy told me that housekeeping left for the day and there was nothing he could do (how is that possible?) so I had to sleep In street clothes because with the ac off it was still too cold. There is also no entertainment, no authentic food (except for the Lucian breakfast). The only perk is that the outdoor pool is open 24hrs and that’s it. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I’ve stayed at hostels that were much better than this place. They need to do better.

Soco is very quiet. I think it's more for older folks and not for young people. By 11 PM the bar closes, and you have to be quiet. Besides that, the place is clean and nice, and the staff is amazing.

The place was nice, quiet, and no kids but far from other attractions. The beach entrance is in close walking distance. The food was enjoyable and tasty, but you have to wait and follow dining times. I didn't like you couldn't order your meal by phone then pick up. I didn't know delivery was an option until I had gotten use to taking the stairs as there is no elevator, 3 floors only). Dining was outdoors in the exhausting heat. I am not a fan of outdoor dining. No buffets and everything is made to order in the order of arrival. If you missed meal times, there were no other options to eat unless going to get something.

There is a tennis court but no equipment on property to use. There are two bars, pool bar opens 10a-10p, inside bar only open for arrivals and only item until 11 pm. Mid to lower range liquor. Bring your own entertainment as there were no books or games I was aware of. I think there was a gym in the building with a pergola on the roof but didn't go to.

There was a huge cockroach that crawled under the door from the street side. We covered the gap in door and had no other issues. There were also tiny ants that we noticed if we left our tray on the balcony.

The staff overall was helpful and polite. We only attended the street party, which was a big vendor place with food liquor and souvenirs.

Relaxing Stay at Soco Boutique in St. Lucia
I had a wonderful experience staying at Soco Boutique. The staff were truly amazing, always friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived.

The main lobby was absolutely beautiful with its clean all-white and marble interior, giving a very chic and modern feel. However, the room didn’t quite match the elegance of the lobby and could use a bit of updating to reflect the same aesthetic.

The food at the hotel was excellent, offering a great mix of authentic island cuisine along with British options, which provided nice variety throughout the stay.

Although the hotel doesn't offer in-house entertainment, the location more than makes up for it. It’s just a five-minute walk to the beach and about fifteen minutes to bars, restaurants, shopping malls, and local street vendors, so there’s always something to do nearby.
There are also many excursions available in the area. I highly recommend the all-day catamaran tour, which was a highlight of the trip and a fantastic way to explore the beauty of St. Lucia from the water.

Overall, Soco Boutique is a stylish and comfortable base with outstanding staff, great food, and an excellent location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into the twilight zone. From the moment we arrived, the staff was noticeably unwelcoming. The front desk attendant didn’t greet us—he simply asked for my name to assign a room and hand over the key cards, with no warmth or hospitality.

The dining experience was equally disappointing. The food quality was poor, portions were small—especially the meat—and much of it appeared to be nearing expiration. Shockingly, despite being on a tropical island, there was no fresh fruit available. Many of the items listed on the menu were consistently unavailable each night.

The beach amenities, which are advertised as complimentary, were frustratingly disorganized. Instead of a designated hotel area, we were approached by a local who pointed us to random chairs and then expected a tip. What should have been a relaxing beach day became stressful and chaotic. There was no clear signage or designated section for hotel guests, which led to confusion and discomfort.

To make matters worse, there were locals occupying what appeared to be hotel-owned chairs. When they were asked to move so guests could use them, a heated argument broke out, with the locals insisting the beach was public and they had every right to sit there.

Overall, this was a highly disappointing and stressful experience that fell far below expectations for a relaxing vacation.

The food experience was subpar! We asked for over easy eggs 3 times and were given over cooked. The bacon was salty and low standard. The beef was gummy and chewy. The seafood soup was a sardine soup with shrimp tails! We loved the staff and the courtesy. Their energy was so welcoming! Not sure if we will return!
