Beautiful location, very picturesque. The pools are great to lounge by since the beach is not too big and gets crowded. Beware the beaches are public so you will be approached by local vendors not associated with the resort, and will ask for a tip or donation.
The bartenders and staff are very nice. And the tour staff are exceptional, highly recommend the boat tour. All of the restaurants have pretty good food options. We enjoyed Zen and Calypso the most.
There are shows or music every night so be aware there will be loud music coming from the central stage area at the center of the resort until 11 some is that you will be able to hear in your room. The shows are fun though.

Good stuff first. Grounds, housekeeping, and most of staff was great especially Wendy at Chill pool bartender and Leaverne in weddings, Alison in housekeeping.
Horrible part: We had a reservation for king bed unit, arrived and given a 2 bed unit for our wedding and honeymoon. Front desk did nothing to help on arrival day, went 2 times the next day to see about changing. Told that king beds were only for in house guests not Expedia. WHY WAS EXPEDIA GIVEN THOSE TYPE TO RESERVE? Not blaming Expedia. After spending 4 days trying get a king room, they finally reluctantly moved us.

Room was not very clean-rust on every cabinet, stains on first set of sheets, a stain on the curtain, the shower was dirty I needed to wear shoes inside it, slow staff, was not told every restaurant would require reservations. Cocktails were poorly made. Managed to eat at one restaurant, food was alright. Buffet staff was very nice though. But overall nobody seemed to be able to answer any questions with more than a “yes” or “no” and if it was no, there was no explanation or empathy given.

Didn’t get the room I reserved, took over 2 hours past check in time to get into room was sexually harassed by staff night one. Everything was pretend fancy and run down looking. Dinners took forever was seated at the Italian place for over an hour before I walked out without receiving food. The buffet was garbage, hands down not worth the money time or experience was the worst all inclusive I have been to by far, did more standing around and waiting then relaxing and enjoying my vacation would not recommend to my worst enemy

Let's start with the room, the floor was not clean the sofa was so nasty and dirty I had to ask for it to be cover, so I didn't have to look at it. It was no face tissue in the room, had to ask. The USB plug did not work. Had to go and purchase a port to charge my phone.
Next the food, was not appealing, the hot bar food at the buffet was cold. I will say that Caesar dressing is to die for, best thing you guy serve. The rest even at the steakhouse was not good. For such a upscale hotel with less than quality food is a downfall.
Finally that really upset me was I gather a taxi and it was 1am in the morning coming from a celebration of Independence Day the security guard at the gate wouldn't allow my taxi to bring me back to the room. The two started arguing and I jump out of the car and walk back to my room. I felt like I was a teenage that had snuck out of the house to go out. Really poor service.
I will say Cindy at a server at the buffet is so friendly and a couple of the other ladies as well. The busboy asking for me to tip them extra nicely is a turn off.
I hope read this and make some changes to your food and beverage menu.

Our stay had alot of positives and few things that definitely needs improvements.
The room and property is fantastic, staff was wonderful especially Rufus at reception and our Expedia rep Tasheal, she was fantastic at making our experience a lovely one. The beach at this resort in quite great and a must do is the Friday night street party that's about a 10 minutes drive away. With Tasheal's assistance we had a private transportation to and from this party, so no hassel at all.
Now for the improvement, it is impossible to get reservations. We got in on a Tuesday evening and were leaving on Saturday morning, and we could not manage to secure a single reservation on our own. Again, thanks to Tasheal, she secured 2 reservations.
The steak house, however, i am not sure if the staff there was having an unexpectedly bad night, and i hope so, as we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to get our food. And other diners actually left as at that point all they hadn't received their appetizer. This was with no updates from the staff as to what was causing such delays with the exception of the young man that was the reception that night. He took it upon himself to attend to tables and trying to update them.on their order status. As i said lots of positives but this definitely needs to be improved upon.

Arrived at night with on two of each towel’s requested in the morning for 4 of each and was told they would put a ticket in. House keeping came at 4:30-5:00 each day when we were there taking showers. I was told that they only give one of each towel and they work from 9-5:00 which is not my problem. I had to ask for a chair for the desk in the room three days and it took four days to straighten everything out. They didn’t even have a bar soap at the sink.

I would give this resort a 3.5 stars. Rooms need to be updated the front door looked like it was kick in on side.bathroom shower had mold around the glass. Check in was terrible check in is at 3 pm our room is not ready until 6 PM. Three hour wait for a check-in is ridiculous. The staff was very friendly the all-inclusive restaurants and they’re all closed two days a week, but you have to check on when those days are to make reservations somewhere else in the complex.

The food was just beyond horrible and they told me I had an Expedia credit that I could use at the restaurant. I let the waitress know that I wanted to use that credit into order a steak outside of the menu. She said it was OK and at checkout, they told me they couldn’t apply it. It is all a scam every single restaurant and the food was just beyond disgusting no flavor not cooked correctly tasted not fresh having the sea right there they use frozen seafood. Honestly, I went to the marina and the food. There was a lot better than the restaurant. The hotel is beautiful and a lot of the staff are nice but other than that, I will never return.

First time to St Lucia and a Royalton hotel. We were very happy with our trip staying there. We had a swim up unit on the end which was great. We had stayed at other all inclusive places in the Caribbean but was very happy with the night life the Royalton had. And when I say nightlife I don’t mean anything bad or too “adult” ish, but just that they made an effort to keep people entertained once the sun went down. The night concerts were a blast. Was much better than our experience with a competition company with a “S”. We also like the food options and the all day buffet was great as my wife and I didn’t always agree on what we wanted but could have anything at the buffet. Breakfast was my favorite as they had plenty of option for my USA palette. Although it was nice to try the local and other country options. Definitely recommend this hotel as we plan to come back in 5-6yrs. We are traveling around the Caribbean each year and hope to be back soon. Will definitely be staying at a Royalton again regardless of island. (The vibe team was Amazing here!! Hope they get that recognition) also, I definitely recommend doing the volcano/mud bath trip. It’s mainly all day but was very cool to experience the culture and see the island as a whole. And drink a piton, next to the piton mountain.

Tashael in Guest Services was extremely helpful and available my entire stay. She was THE BEST!! I appreciate all her help and she decorated my room so beautifully! All the ladies in Guest Services are so nice and pleasant and professional.

I had a small issue with my air late at night and maintenance guy with long locs came for it tighter he was very patient because I wasn’t ready for him to enter the room when he came he had to wait. The staff overall were nice to me and I enjoyed them having conversation.

The property is clean and well kept. I would prefer more staff on the weekends and the food was subpar. Overall I give it a 7.8

Merkel made things happen and showed up in an amazing fashion.
There was a chef whom was in the buffett on the seafood station, across from the meat. Then he was the chef Japanese grill. I dont recall his name, but he too was amazing. He also recalled us as a group, he also made sure we had fun at the grill. Great memories were created with his help and guidance.

The Royalton tricks you into thinking it is amazing hotel. But the food is absolutely terrible, they run out of food and drinks and it was not even busy. It’s a 2 hour drive from the airport to the hotel. They only have the cheapest wine possible for the included wine and no options. The buffet don’t even try to eat there. The culinary experience we did was $200 for vegetarian food.

We stayed at Royalton Saint Lucia during the Christmas holidays in December 2025 and had an overall enjoyable experience.

The natural surroundings are beautiful. The beach was clean with white sand and clear water, and the lush greenery around the resort created a very relaxing Caribbean atmosphere. Our room had a lovely view and a large balcony. We stayed in a standard family room, which was spacious, bright, and comfortable.

The resort itself is well designed, with multiple restaurants and clean, well-maintained pools. One thing we really appreciated was that it never felt overcrowded; there were enough guests to keep the vibe pleasant without feeling busy or uncomfortable.
On the downside, the distance from the airport is quite long, about a two hour drive, as the airport is in the south of the island and the resort is in the north. While the location is scenic and arguably worth it, the travel day was tiring.

The food across the restaurants was average overall and did not stand out. More importantly, the service culture, especially in the restaurants, felt less warm and welcoming than expected. Based on our experiences at other Caribbean resorts, particularly in Mexico, the staff here seemed less engaging and less well trained for a five star resort. Considering the cost of the stay, this was disappointing.

Housekeeping also had some inconsistencies. When items were missing from the room, we often had to call multiple times before they were delivered.

Let me start off by saying I would not stay in this hotel again if someone paid me. Yes it was that bad. Upon booking my room I chose an ocean view room, when I went out on the balcony it was a partial ocean view, & right outside was the kids play area (which I was not happy about) when I called down to see about switching my room they said they didn’t have any available at the moment & would follow up with me the next day but never did. Then my room was right by the stairwell with the exit & the alarm kept going off during the night. I had to go to guest services and it wasn’t until two days prior to me checking out that they switched my room. My first room, the tub was dirty, the sheets was dirty. Then in the second room, everything was dirty. The food at the buffet was less than satisfactory. The portions sizes at the steakhouse were very small. The drinks were terrible.The app needed to make reservations for restaurants didn’t work. The only positive thing is the staff was nice. After speaking with other guest & people outside of the resort it was recommended to stay at Sandals the next time I come to St.Lucia.

My room was missing a few essential items that supposed to be in there. It was rusted spots in the shower. Do not book the Culinary Experience majority of the 7 entrees we received were food we could have gotten from the buffet. Literally one of the meals was a tequila infused pineapple. What kind of entree is that? When we expressed our concerns the staff just brushed us off and said the menu is up to the chef but we was told there would be steak, lamb, fish, and etc but that was a lie. That was $115 down the drain.

A lot of the staff did not seem courteous. More so, the younger interns. They lack customer service, interaction with individuals. The check in process could be a lot better. They need to have more individuals at the check in desk to assist. After a long day of travel, I stood in line way too long to check in about 45 mins. Also, be careful booking excursions through their services. They seem to be overbooking and then giving false reasons as to why they canceled you the morning of. They cancel but they don't allot a transfer of what you paid to go towards a new excursion. you have to wait 7-10 days for a credit and you have to rebook a new excursion. We would never book excursions through them again. I would rather pay the locals or someone else. My room was just ok. Nothing seemed to work properly. The Shower head was broken and would not stay in place, the ceiling fan button was broken so we couldn't turn the fan off or down. Service did a temporary fix and said that someone would come the next day to fix and they never did. The coffee pot wasn't working. A lot of little things that they seem to not check or fix properly. I wouldn't stay at this resort for these reasons. Too many minor issues for the cost. However, Saint Lucia is a beautiful place.

Bar ran out of supplies. For example their martini bar ran out of olives and vodka. and liquor, Food was prepared with described ingredients, room was poorly maintained, furniture was terrible, in fact the chair supplied for the makeup mirror was so low, even 2 pillows didnt work for my 5 ft 9 in wife, the sraff didnt seam that they wanted to be working, or were not happy working for the hotel. St Lucia is a lovely island, just stay away from this resort.

Although we got moved to a new room after our first had numerous issues like massive mold spores, stains on furniture, malfunctioning safe and ripped sheets it was never smooth sailing as we had hoped.

The food is subpar, the beach is rarely cleaned and usually crowded. Drinks are watered down and even the cups they serve em in are dirty. Just so far from the \"Luxury\" experience they often tout. Avoid at all costs, I wish we had heeded warnings from previous reviews but thought we'd give em a chance. Let's just say we were extremely glad to go home after this one.

We spoke to many guests and every single one of them had something similar to say. This was our second All-Inclusive and we've officially decided we will never do this again. All of our previous vacations have been better in pretty much all of the ways you can think of from price, staff, food, overall experience and quality to travel time.

I heard of a few different places that were supposedly better alternatives in St. Lucia and we may try that far in the future but the bitter taste this left us with is hard to overcome at this time. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here.

We did meet a few really great staff members in the buffet and they were a pleasure to see everyday and talk to. The rest will largely ignore you unless you're carrying a few dollars each time which we always did.

Captain Nick at the beach was amazing, we booked a private boat tour through him and he was our captain. He was absolutely phenomenal, along with Jessi, his crew member. They took us around the whole island, showed us all the landmarks, and took us to Sugar Beach for the most amazing snorkeling. We saw spotted eels, the biggest and most colorful fish, and prettiest coral. They had drinks on board as well as chips and freshly made jerk chicken. The rooms were clean however our air conditioning broke on night 2 and didn’t get fixed until the next day. I called several times for a fan to be brought up however it never was and our clothes were starting to get wet. They told me I could change my room and when I came to the lobby to do so, they said it is not possible. So that was frustrating however the air conditioning started back up again. Otherwise we loved the beach, swam all day, and had a great vacation

The only problem we had was a guest above us throwing sunflower seed shells and gummy bears down on our patio. We had a swim out and their garbage attracted ants which was very annoying. Other than that every single staff member was extremely polite, helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I would recommend this resort to everyone and would love to return for another relaxing stay

The rooms are out dated. Every time we ate at the buffet we had to ask multiple times to get a glass of water. As we watch them fill people’s water that just sat down. Bartenders at the pool were good. Waiters at Grazi were good.

We appreciate the bottle of Champaign for our honeymoon.

The reservation system is not good for the restaurants. From night one every restaurant was showing booked. But when walking by or asking for a reservation they were empty.

WiFi could be a lot better considering the building.

Better variety of food is a must! Why are you serving the same thing for lunch and dinner.

The people at check out were very rude. Almost as if they realized we were leaving and they didn’t care about quality service anymore.

You need better communication with nexus( considering they have an office at your property)
We were picked up 30 mins late and Koby could figure out we’re out reservation was. Nobody believed we had the private transfer untill I had to show multiple people my pass on my phone.

Why couldn’t we keep the bracelet as a little souvenir? Those are the things you put in a memory box.

Rooms were gross. Ripped sheets spills in the fridge and had a damp moldy smell in the room. We got a room change and the next room was even more disgusting. I requested a crib weeks before our stay and also when we got there and never received one. Mini fridges didn’t get cold so I had to walk around asking for ice to keep my child’s milk cold. Downstairs ice machines didn’t work. Sometime the elevators would stop working. Last two nights our a/c didn’t work. We asked if someone could come look at it and no one showed up. This hotel needs a serious revamp and new management because it feels like the people just don’t care. Please reconsider if you’re thinking about staying here.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I really tried to give the property a chance to right their wrongs but they chose to ignore my emails. The entire staff is poorly trained-- if trained at all. The rooms are poorly maintained. The wifi is only existent in certain weird areas of the rooms and property. None of the promised discounts or credits are given. Just stay somewhere else, TRUST ME. Worst Royalton in the bunch-- I've been to 6 Royaltons. St Lucia Royalton would be a waste of your time and hard earned money.

The room had a damp musty smell for the entirety of our stay. The grounds were kept in good condition but the room seemed like it was neglected (stains, etc). The elevator was not working in our room’s building. Had to use stairs or employee elevator. Employee elevator was always dirty. Towels were never fully replaced even when soiled ones were removed.

The hotel was nice, but the service was horrible. Janell (concierge bldg 5) was great but that was about it. Was hard to get simple things like water or to restock the beer , which only happened once during our stay. We went with a group that held 6 rooms including ours. One room flooded because the tub leaked. We all ordered room service at least once that never came. Was hard to get napkins when at meal service. Another room was wet when we got there. Another the kettle leaked. 5403 (my room)5105, 4008, 4107,4114 and another room Zamina Mohammed. For the money we paid we expected way way better. My husband and I chose this location based on a previous stay in Royalton Negril which was fantastic back in November 2021. I can’t believe we almost purchased or even considered a prime package. Based on what we saw glad we didn’t.

The reservation was for a luxury junior suit with a king size bed, unfortunately we welcomed two queen beds. The room was not prepared appropriate toiletries such as wash clothes and towels. The room also had a staleness to it with floors and countertops that had dust and debris. The property was well maintained and groomed. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating, where as the servicing staff in the restaurants were polar opposite to house keeping and bartenders that were extremely amazing.

This is by far the worse resort I’ve ever stayed on in my life. Elevators were breaking down, no straws for drinks, no napkins for meals, bars running out of liquor! No availability for the restaurants besides the buffet. Worms and bugs in my room. Remade our room with dirty sheets. Swim up pool seats had paint and dirt splattered all over them. Mirror in the room had paint splattered all over it. Extremely understaffed on every part of the resort! By far thee worse resort we’ve ever been on!

Our room had a terrible musty smell...black mold on bathroom curtains. Most of the staff was very friendly, but some were very rude. Our last day the pool bars ran out of rum....how is that possible? All in all it was a good family vacation, but we will not return.

The property itself is large. I checked outn4 days earlier and went to another hotel. The elevator stopped working and my room.was on thr 5th floor. Nobody ask to relocate my room. The staff looked, dress and operated more like McDonald's worker than a resort staff. Their uniform were dirty and overall not hospitality. The rooms and hallway were dirty. The lunch room had variety but not quality. Poorly prepared

The Worst Vacation We’ve Ever Had

Our stay was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The resort ran out of tequila every single day — how does a Caribbean resort run out of tequila? The food situation was just as bad: one day they ran out of burgers, the next day jerk chicken, and at the steakhouse, even the ribeye was “unavailable.” When food was available, it was subpar — the crab cake was hard as a brick and small enough to pass for a chicken nugget.

Basic amenities were also a mess. They repeatedly ran out of pool and beach towels, which made it impossible to enjoy the facilities comfortably. We booked a king-size junior suite but were given two queen beds instead, with no effort to correct the issue.

When we politely shared our concerns with staff, they seemed completely indifferent — no apology, no accountability, just blank stares. I’ve never been so happy to go home from a trip. What should have been a relaxing getaway turned into a frustrating experience that we couldn’t wait to end.

Save yourself the disappointment — this was by far the worst vacation we’ve ever been on.
