Well maintained hotel with friendly staff. Within walkable distance to Rodney Bay Marina. They have free shuttles between the 2 other properties where one of them has the beach. They can also drop in shopping/dining market that is awesome. Rooms are like normal hotel but very clean. They have a pool in the middle of the hotel with balcony to sit. There is a small bar as well near the pool. The breakfast is buffet style and is really well organized. Eventhough the restaurant is small the food for lunch/dinner is delicious.

This hotel was just as stated. For a 3 start hotel, I felt very safe. The area is quite and a 5 minute walk from the Marina where there are restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they are able to call taxi's for you if needed. Breakfast had a good variety of selections.

Front desk service was not good. Yes I came in about 3:30pm the front desk person was busy chatting at the side with another coworker. My presence was never acknowledged until I had to shout “hello is anyone home” another staff walking by said “someone will be with you shortly”. I had to wait for room to be cleaned which was understandable, however getting to the room is smelled of insect repellent. I was in the shower there was a knock at the door seems the housekeeper forgot to put pillow cases on all pillows. I told her to please give me 5mins to get some clothes on. She said she would come back she never did. I called front desk and was told the staff already left. I slept with no pillow cases. The entire experience that night was not good. Seems there was a party or something in the adjacent building so it was noisy until about 2am so I did not fall asleep until morning so I missed breakfast. Same thing the Saturday night. I was very disappointed overall.

Dated and average but clean and convenient. The main thing about this place is the breakfast/food is always excellent and the chef is very accommodating .

Overnight stay after staying at Sandals for a week. We liked the room overall. Bed was comfortable. We stayed on a saturday night and there is a music venue close by that was rather loud until about 1:30am. it really didnt keep us awake but just be aware. The onsite restaurant was on the expensive side, $50 usd per person for a buffet. Not to mention they have a bug zapper just above the food service area. Breakfast was good and included.

The receptionist was more focused on havin her dinner. She forgot to give us wrist bands and welcome drink tokens and pool tokens , also forgot to tell us the time for breakfast and the WiFi password. She then stated I had to ask for assistance with my bags to the room. The first room given the bathroom had a terrible smell. The second room had a leak . The third room the television didn’t work . The towels were dirty. The fourth room given the ac had an issue. I gave up by then.I will never be staying there again .

This was our second time staying at Bay Gardens Marina. We had such a great experience the first time that we decided to visit again, purposely driving to Rodney Bay for the night before heading to stay at our friends airbnb in Chatlotte for the remainder of the week.
We booked through Expedia the first time, so we did the same this time around. Check in was, once again, smooth, and we paid the small remainder collected by the hotel. We were shown our room, got freshened up and changed, and went to Keebees (our local favourite) for dinner. We came back and visited the outdoor bar, paid for two \"YooHoos\", shout out to the bartender, who was great. For our second round we billed it to our room.
The next morning we had our included breakfast, stopped to check-out, where we were told there was a \"small amout\" to pay, which I assumed was the two drinks. My husband paid the bill and we were off.
Once home, I checked our credit card bill, and we were charged $ 167.91 upon check-out. Knowing there was no way 2 drinks totalled this I tried to reach the hotel, both before leaving the island and upon arriving home. I have received one response with a picture of a 2 buffet dinners and 2 pitons that were charged to our room. I have sent them a picture of our Keebees receipt from the night, with time, and offered to pay for our 2 drinks, and they have never responded to this, or a follow up. I suppose our next step is to see if Expedia can help, and report to our credit card.

Overall, the hotel was a ok place. Pretty old but for a quick stay at a reasonable price this would be the place.. the staff were very nice and sweet and made you very comfortable. the biggest complaint that I had was that Friday night and Saturday night. I’m not sure if there’s a club behind the hotel but up until 3 o’clock in the morning nonstop music unacceptable

The property is well located in the Gross Islet area near the Marina within short commute of the Reduit Beach and Rodney Bay Area. Good value for money with spacious rooms, a happy and well staffed Anchor restaurant with variety and creative cuisines on different days of the week. The pool bar represents hub of activity well during evening hours. Housekeeping is top-notch. Felt safe and well looked after during my 2 day stay for the T20 World Cup. A shuttle service runs 15 minutes to the hour and takes guests to other Bay Garden properties and Rodney Bay strip area (not to be missed). The front desk service was sporadic easily overwhelmed with a little bit of activity. For instance, while waiting for my room to be ready it was the housekeeping staff that led me to my room which was prepared for a while. The front desk forgot to follow the usual protocols and I had to stop by later for passport verification. They seemed tired and overwhelmed by concierge-type questions.
All in all, superb value. The Bay Gardens beach property is much nicer but more expensive and easily enjoyed using the shuttle service that runs through 10:45 PM 7 days a week.

Bed Bugs, Fleas, Feral Cat Your Choice
In the morning I woke to find bites on my arm from what appeared to be bed bugs. We sent a photo to hotel to ask them to address the issue. They never acknowledged the email. When we got back at the end of the day, we stopped by the front desk and asked what had been done in our room. The head housekeeper came out and stated they are a proper hotel and did not have bed bugs, they called a “very reputable” third party out and they confirmed it…. She then said they found a kitten in our room and that was the likely source, it had even used the rug for a toilet. She accused us of having the kitten and did not address the fact I was bitten the night before… it was all our fault.
When we got to the room it smelled of cat pee. It did not the night before. We called the front desk and asked for a new room. While we waited for their call back, we heard a cat meow. We saw one under the bed. It finally climbed up into the box springs. We still do not know how this feral cat got into our room.

In the morning I woke to find bites on my arm from what appeared to be bed bugs. We sent a photo to hotel to ask them to address the issue. They never acknowledged the email. When we got back at the end of the day, we stopped by the front desk and asked what had been done in our room. The head housekeeper came out and stated they are a proper hotel and did not have bed bugs, they called a “very reputable” third party out and they confirmed it…. She then said they found a kitten in our room and that was the likely source, it had even used the rug for a toilet. She accused us of having the kitten and did not address the fact I was bitten the night before… it was all our fault.
When we got to the room it smelled of cat pee. It did not the night before. We called the front desk and asked for a new room. While we waited for their call back, we heard a cat meow. We saw one under the bed. It finally climbed up into the box springs. We still do not know how this feral cat got into our room.

This is a sister hotel that has 2 other properties and access was available by free shuttle to each. The best things about this property is the staff and location. Excellent service and attentiveness from the staff from the moment I arrived to the day I left. This location within the chain is like a third child, it's aged and in desperate need of renovation. Didnt have to go far for most of my activities. The shuttle even passed the mall which was convenient and the party spot. One on the sister hotels was also located on the beach and there was the option to dine at any of the 4 hotels. Staff was also friendly!

This small hotel felt like home. When Deborah noted my age she immediately recommended that I be moved from the top floor to the first floor poolside. There is not an elevator. The chef personally created menu items for my granddaughter who has food allergies even though she was not staying there, just visiting me. The warm friendly attention even exceeded the attention on a Viking cruise which is outstanding. They addressed my comfort before I even thought of something that would be pleasant. They have hourly shuttles to the other Bay Gardens properties. It is an older hotel but kept clean and attractive. The people are invaluable gems.

We stayed here for a few nights prior to flying back to uk after a fortnight of island hopping. The hotel is very convenient for the Marina with bars and restaurants etc. We were also able to walk to Gros Islet for the Friday Night Street Party. Felt safe doing so, although we did not stay late.

I dropped my wallet as I left checked out of the hotel. I didn't realize it until about 45 minutes later. When I returned to the hotel the staff had secured my wallet and locked it up. All the contents, including approximately $1,000 US dollars was still in the wallet. I can't express how GREAT the staff was!!!!

This is a lovely, relatively affordable hotel located only a couple minutes from shopping malls, restaurants, and multiple beaches, including the water park, where access is complimentary for hotel guests. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast each day was delicious and had quite a few options each morning. The bathrooms are also very clean and functional, and the provision of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion in dispensers were greatly appreciated. I definitely recommend staying here and will do so again on my next visit to St Lucia
