What an amazing property this is and equally amazing staff
First off we were greeted by Kelcey (hope I’m spelling the name right) who was super helpful in all the activities we needed to book or things we wanted to do, always with a super friendly disposition. Thank you Kelcey
At the restaurant which serves some really good food (fish fritters, yum) we were attended by Lee who was very helpful in making suggestions and had a great personality
Every room in this property has an amazing view of the bay, the town of Soufrière and the wonderful Petit Piton, rooms have very nice balconies and some have a small private pool, rooms are very spacious and well decorated
Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful
Massage therapists were also great. Thank you
Had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Lance, who was very welcoming and friendly and had great conversations

Highly recommend if you're able and fit to tackle stairs at least 4x a day. We stayed at a five star resort before near Rodney Bay and Green Figs had better service and food. The view is unbeatable as you can see Petit Piton from your room, restaurant and pool. While the pools here are small given the area it never felt crowded, as most of the time we had the main pool to ourselves. We stayed at the Sunset Junior Suite and the room was comfy, roomy and designed very well. Appreciate the slippers provided and free shuttle to town. We met one of the owners during our stay and he was very welcoming, offering some helpful tips for the nearby attractions. The only downside is that the town gets noisy at night which is out of control of the resort, especially when we were there during their Independence holiday. Also make sure you store food in the fridge. We had some late night critters visit us the first night and took a nibble of some fruit we bought at the market. Management sent someone to help take care of it the next day but we also were more careful of food being out.

The staff was the best part of the property. This property could be incredible but needs some care. The room was clean but bathroom shower tiles were missing and the shower faucet was either burning hot or freezing. The railings around the property are not secure and being build on the cliff this should be a real concern. Needs some power washing and ground clean up. Lots a debris around the resort.

It was New Year’s Eve. We waited more than an hour past our dinner reservation time to be seated. Told to wait at the bar and receive complimentary drinks. Only complimentary if you like rum punch. It’s not mine or my wife’s thing. Ordered the overpriced lobster dinner, approx $150 US per person, and it wasn’t good at all. My wife couldn’t even eat hers. For the price I forced mine down. Was just mush. Check in was easy. The room was comfortable. The views were spectacular. Staff was nice.

Room was absolutely beautiful and had an amazing view of Petit Piton. Location was also convenient to exploring Soufriere, its close to the Piton hike, Tet Paul trail, mud bath, falls, and any outings you want to do. Main pool was nice to cool off after an excursion

I stayed here for three days for excursions and felt it was enough time. Restaurant, bar, main pool, reception are all at the top, stairs are quite uneven at some areas so walking around the property isn't very enjoyable- it's more to get from your room to the upper area

Team was polite enough but a bit disengaged, the bartender was super fun. Breakfast and dinner service is good, however it was harder to find someone for lunch. The Whatsapp chat is very prompt to answer any inquires

Would recommend Green Fig as a convenient location with amazing views to use as base for excursions

Tucked away in the hill, we drove by the entrance twice before finding the sign. Beautiful small resort with rooms connected by many steep stairs- not for elderly or anyone with health issues. Very nice clean room with stunning view of the town & ocean & Pitons. Loved the restaurant, Saltfish. Wonderful view, food & staff

The hotel has a lot of steps which was not expected. The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. The food very expensive and just ok. Will not returned.

I stayed at Green Fig Resort in St. Lucia for two nights while exploring the Soufrière area, including the Pitons, Sugar Beach, and a local hike. The location is fantastic—perfectly situated overlooking Soufrière and close to so many of the island’s highlights.

The views are truly stunning and seem to follow you everywhere on the property. Whether you’re in your room, by the restaurant, or walking through the grounds, there’s always something beautiful to take in. There are quite a few steps throughout the resort, but I was completely fine with them and felt they added to the charm and sense of adventure.

My room felt like a little treehouse—cozy, peaceful, and tucked into the landscape in a way that really connected you to nature. Overall, Green Fig was a great base for exploring the area while still feeling relaxed and immersed in the beauty of St. Lucia.

The location is the key here. The hotel is on a hill with a clear view of Pitons. The restaurant, the bar area right next to one of the pools, most hotel rooms offer a great view of the mountains and the town below. The proprty reminds me of Santorini, with steps carved onto the hill as you walk between hotel areas, rooms, etc. The room we stayed in had a balcony with a great view and a sitting area with wide sliding door. A great room.

The staff were amazing!!!! Loved the continental breakfast. The shuttle made it easy to visit Soufrière. A special thanks to GAVIN, our taxie driver and our guide. He gave us a true feeling of the Caribbean. When we first arrived, we thought maybe we made a mistake by going to Soufrière but no, we enjoyed every minute. Don’t let all the stairs square you. It was doable and very unique.

We loved the natural vibe or architecture and design and total chill feel of the place. Our room was spacious and the perfect setting for relaxing and looking out at the Pitons. It is built into hillside so walking up and down steps is part of your stay.
The continental breakfast was totally filling. The restaurant has a sweeping view of town and waterfront. Dinner and drinks were all tasty. We loved the small boutique of the place. It was exactly what we were looking for in St Lucia.

We had an amazing experience at Green Fig! Tucked away in the cliffside, this cozy resort overlooks the beautiful town of Soufriere and Petit Piton, providing stunning views from anywhere on the property. We enjoyed the romance room, the beautiful main pool, open air restaurant, and tons of spots to sit and enjoy the present moment. The resort was incredibly accommodating with arranging spa treatments, massages, excursions, transportation and anything else we needed in a timely manner. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. The beach and town is about a 5 minute walk and are fun to check out! We absolutely loved our stay here and plan to come back in the future.

FYI, you will need to climb stairs and you can hear sounds from the town, but we didn't mind at all. For us, it added to the charm and overall experience.

The property is lovely and well-placed, but hilly. We were not warned about the many steps from one area to the next. This limited our sense of freedom to explore the hotel and its surroundings. Shuttle service was available but to get to it was physically strenuous for older guests like myself. The tour packages were disappointing, though other guests who arranged for tours with outside agencies were pleased. I would recommend for the younger more adventurous travelers. This was not the place for older travelers with limited physical capacity.

Unique resort with an astonishing view from the hillside above the center of Soufriére. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool and bar area. Good restaurant. Short (if steep) walk to the beach and town. Heed other reviews about stairs -- the hillside setting is what gives this resort charm, but if you don't like climbing stairs it won't be for you. There will be some noise from roosters and dogs in the town early in the mornings, so bring earplugs or a white noise machine if you're a light sleeper and you like to sleep late. Overall a great value compared to other very pricey nearby resorts if you want an amazing view.

The staff here was phenomenal. It is definitely a small boutique hotel, and upon arriving I was skeptical. We really grew to love it. The room was great and clean and maintained throughout our stay. The views are great, the pool was clean, the drinks and food were good. THE VIBES were amazing. They play beautiful live music at night. It is 15minutes from most sight seeing locations. Conceirge was helpful in getting taxis, reservations etc. Had a great relaxing massage at the spa with a beautiful view.

Beautiful resort with stunning views of Piton. The resort definitely has tree house vibes. Beware of many stairs to get to your room and to the town and back. Also at night it can be loud from either the music from town or just the bugs and birds … feels like you’re truly in a rainforest. This is not a luxury hotel but definitely has a unique, nature feel to it. The resort is very easy to communicate with, I would WhatsApp them with requests through out my stay and they are very quick and responsive to the needs of the guest. The hotel is closely located to many excursions like the sulfur springs and mud bath.

BE AWARE!

BE AWARE! We booked this resort for one night before moving to another resort to meet the rest of our party. We were so excited to stay here based on the photos. When we arrived, we were given our key and taken to our room. What they fail to mention in the images, is the resort has STEEP broken stairs that lead to the rooms. and not a few staris, 3-4 flights depening on where your room is. The room itself was fine. The AC worked well and the inside of the room was clean. The rest of the resort? Run down, dirty, and the staff was beyond rude. The pools were not blue but rather a murky grey coloring. You could not have paid us to go in that is how gross the water looked. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was not edible. We had a banana and left as soon as possible. The wait staff did not even acknowledge our presence at breakfast and when we simply asked for water, she rolled her eyes and asked our room number which was weird because bottled water is complementary. We had to call 3 times to get someone to collect our luggage because we could not physically carry our suitcases up the steep flights of stairs to reception. Upon checkout, they gave us the pill and the waitress from breakfast charged us $20 for 2 bottles of complimentary water. The front desk did remove this fee, but the overall feeling we received was horrible. No one should feel that way especially after spending $600 for one night. Stay somewhere else. We wish we left upon check in honestly.

The only good thing here is good views of the Pitons. Some of the staff try to be helpful but management of this place is terrible. I will summarize the issues here:

- we booked a room with good views, turned out its “open-air” room. This wasn’t clearly marked. Given the insane amount of noise, heat and humidity, the location of the room being above the restaurant, no A/C and mosquitoes around, no one in their right mind would book this room. They moved us the next night to a different room which had AC. Such rooms has to be clearly marked.

- this hotel claims its close to the beach giving you the assumption you walk to and back from the beach. They don’t say though the way back is a very steep hill and lots of steps involved.

- the hotel is on multiple levels and getting help with your luggage takes forever, during checkout we carried our stuff to avoid missing our flight.

- everything is overly priced and you won’t get your money’s worth

- there are multiple other options to choose from than this hotel, we realized it after we explored the island more

First of all the views are breathtaking from anywhere on the property. The hotel itself is beautiful with such an organic aesthetic that fits right into the landscape. Incredible place to stay as a couple, low key but lots to do within walking distance or a short taxi/water taxi ride. The staff are the most accommodating and welcoming people we’ve ever met while travelling.The 3 pools are a great place to cool off and enjoy more of the view. The Saltfish Restaurant is really nice, definitely go for the continental breakfast and lunch (dinner is fairly pricey but also very good for a night or 2 if you just want to relax at the hotel). There are lots of places in town to grab a cheaper meal with local options and some familiar favourites. There is also a couple liquor stores and markets (we chose to walk to the Massi store) to grab some snacks and beverages to keep in our mini fridge for when we didn’t feel like going out or wanted something for after hours. Keep in mind it’s a very relaxed place and restaurants and stores may close a little earlier than you might be used to. One final suggestion is bring a strong sunscreen and BUG SPRAY (the mosquitoes and sand flies are tiny but they pack a punch) I made the mistake of not wearing deet bug spray on the first evening and learned my lesson immediately, the rest of the trip wasn’t a problem once I remembered to wear it. Overall it was a great trip and the Green fig was definitely the right choice for us, highly recommend

If you have trouble with climbing steps then book a room closer to reception!

The food and drinks are amazing but the wait time for dinner needs improvement. The staff is friendly, helpful and makes the stay enjoyable. I would stay again.

The property was just okay. I think if management spend more time and money investing in the property it would be A1. Great view of the Piton and the town of Soufriere. Prime location for the attractions. My room didn’t appear clean like the sink and shower. The pools also need some cleaning. The food was good and the staff was great. Oh and hope you’re in good shape because those stairs will get you every time. It was a struggle for all the guest I encountered. Made you never want to leave the room just thinking about them. But overall we had a good experience.

Authentic St. Lucian experience

So we had to book this hotel because we didn’t get on our plane for the second straight day. Pics on the website were not what the resort really looked like. Resort is built into the side of a hill/mountain. It is very rustic and primitive unless you up grade. We were in a room with no AC so we were hot and heard EVERYTHING!! The city was having a huge Mother’s Day party with music and cookouts happening. We heard the cars driving thru the city and the dogs barking and roosters all day and thru the evening. It gave an authentic St Lucian experience. Final piece of the puzzle is be prepared to walk up and downstairs if you do visit this resort.
