The guesthouse was perfect for our stay in St. Lucia. The unit was very spacious with the most wonderful private balcony. The view was magnificent. Unbeatable! We liked being close to town to wander about. The kitchen was great to do some cooking for ourselves. The restaurant downstairs was nice to have for when we for meals out -breakfast/ lunch/ dinner. The guesthouse helps connect with local tour guides and these tours on land and water with fabulous with trusted drivers and guides Paw Paw and Peter. A ride to and from the airport was arranged and also a trip for grocery shopping. From the guesthouse there is direct to the beach. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service at Still Beach Guesthouse.

Can't beat the view of the bay and Petit Piton, and the convenience of being right on the beach with a restaurant downstairs and town a 5-minute walk away. The room was spacious, and having a fridge, microwave, kettle, and some dishes/glassware/utensils was very helpful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and just relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and we had plenty of storage space plus an in-room safe. The price was very reasonable given the location and amenities.

Large room with a very comfortable king bed and a fantastic view of Soufriere and the bay. The property sits on top of Seashell Restaurant - a great place to enjoy a sundowner. Loved the free parking, in room safe, the fridge with a nice selection of complimentary drinks, microwave and coffee maker (although the coffee package was previously opened so we weren’t tempted to brew any!). Lots of towels provided along with shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer. So we were off to a good start but then the room fell short too in some ways. For example, the smell of bleach and mothballs was overpowering and could’ve been aired out. Bedside lights could be replaced with ones that have an on/off switch that’s easier to use vs having to get out of bed to reach behind the nightstand and hit the lights on the wall. There wasn’t anywhere to put your suitcase down to unpack unless that’s done on the floor or on the bed. The a/c is not controlled by thermostat so you have to turn it off/on manually. And finally since there is no main lobby, a guidebook of some sort in the room would’ve been helpful to direct guests as to where the atms are, the supermarket, where to eat, local attractions, how to connect to the internet etc. It’s not a bad place to stay but it’s also not the cheapest place either so our expectations were higher for more thoughtful details. If just a few of these easy suggestions were to be put in place I think it would greatly improve the value and comfort level for guests.

We loved the location of The Still Beach House - right on the beach, within easy walking distance to Soufriere and with the most beautiful view of Petit Piton. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and provided everything we required. Michelle and David were wonderfully friendly and helpful as were the restaurant staff. Having the restaurant on site was great and the food was delicious.

Great location in Souffiere... Walking to distance to everything in town, yet away from the buzz. Convenient to have the Seashell Restaurant on site. The bed was extremely comfortable... Great sleeping. Furniture needed some updating but satisfactory. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kitchenettes were fairly well stocked with basic supplies for cooking with tea and coffee provided.

And of course.... The magnificent view! It was exciting to see different cruise ships in Souffiere moored in perfect alignment with Petit Piton.

This property is truly one of a kind. The host is exceptional. If you are looking for a stay with a view like no where else this is the place. You are on the beach with a view of the Pitons like they are in your front yard. The bed is extremely comfortable the host was warm, helpful and more than accommodating. If you are looking for something super fancy this might not be your place, but if a killer view, ultra comfortable bed and a super kind host are what you are looking for….. you found it

I give the view five stars! Michelle was very communicative and accommodating. I didn't check in until late and she made sure that Dani, the security guard, was waiting for me in the parking lot once I arrived. Though there is direct access to the beach, there are no chairs or umbrellas available.

Our stay was simply wonderful. It started with the owner Michelle and the housekeeper Caren, both welcoming and very attentive. The room and balcony ,decorated by amazing flower arrangements, is fully equipted with what you need for a holiday stay with drinks and water in the fridge. We also got the mandarines from the owner's garden during our stay. There is a restaurant below the room but you don't get bothered by the staff of visitors at all. They play the music but you can asked them to switch it off or change the type of music:-)) There is no smell from the kitchen.The view from the balcony is amazing. You are a few steps from the beach. The beach is not private so sometimes visitors leave trash behind. The water was amazing, clean, warm with easy access. The place se secluded in the greenary yet with walking distance to the restaurants and shops. Thank you again Michelle, Carren and David for letting us to stay with you.

The absolute best part of this resort was the location. Nothing beats walking down the stairs from your room straight onto the beach. The beach itself was gorgeous and having the on-site restaurant and bar in between the rooms and beach was very convenient. Michelle was exceptional. She was friendly, communicative and super helpful by arranging my airport transportation. She deserves a solid 10/10. The bed was comfortable though very high for someone as short as me (5 feet). The place was spotless. The only downside for me was that the living room had no AC, just a fan so it was very hot, especially when we cooked. The bathroom was also a little outdated (building could use some updates). Overall, the location and service were wonderful even if the property wasn't top tier.

The Still Beach House is an absolute gem. The Still is a smaller guest house with a handful of rooms and while we are not \"fancy resort\" type of people, the owners and staff certainly made you feel as if you were at the Ritz Carlton! Everyone was extremely accommodating, helpful and kind.
We booked a room with a kitchenette and it was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed and more. Not to mention the breathtaking view of Petit Piton from our balcony!
The Still is located at the end of the beach in Soufriere which gives you the feeling of privacy but is also just a short walk to town. The rooms are also connected to The Seashell Beach Restaurant which had great food and drinks.
We spent 8 days here and wouldn't change a thing about it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go back!

Room was nice and spacious although AC was only in the bedroom. There is no lobby though but the owners are very helpful and prompt. A little dark if you enter after sunset and it will feel strange but if you talk to Michelle and David, they would help out. The location is great for Soufriere and you get a good view of the Petit Pitons. The beach is not the best but at least you get some sand in your toes. Stay there if you want to spend a couple of days in Soufriere doing the nature stuff.

That said Seashells restaurant was a disaster. 8pm kitchen closed, breakfast - they did not have half the items and it took them more than 60 mins to make one omelette. Realize that the restaurant may not be run by the same owners but it leaves a lot to be desired.

This place has character. It is an older property where the staff bends over backwards to accommodate guests. The room was full of fresh flowers and beautifully folded towels when we arrived, making us feel extra welcome. The view from the room is wonderful, there is a small bar and restaurant just downstairs, with steps to the beach. Easy walking distance to town. We are glad we stayed here.

Our Unit #4 was very spacious with a large bedroom, living room, dining area and beautiful balcony with another table for dining. We even had a washing machine. Everything and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The area was quiet and felt safe. We walked around Soufriere and had dinner out and found the ice cream shop too.
My husband spent four days diving with Action Adventure Duvers and said it was pre incredible.
Michelle and her team were top notch hosts. She even helped us bring items from the car when we checked in. Five Stars is not enough

The beach are was quiet and uncrowded. The views from our room and the restaurant are spectacular. The rooms are a bit dated. The first night we were in a smaller room with no kitchen which was fine. When we got moved to the larger room with a kitchen and sitting area there was only air conditioning in the bedroom. The overhead fan didn't work and the small one provided didn't help much. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay and don't care too much about the room this is a good place.

Our stay at the Still was spectacular. The beds in the room are HUGE super king beds and really comfortable. Our room had a beautiful balcony with a view of the beach and beach access just below the bar. It was fantastic and the owners are very accommodating. Had a great time staying at The Beach House for our Honeymoon. Michelle and David are very nice and the room was set up very cute for our arrival. Amenities as promised, views are amazing for the price you pay. Right on the beach, and had a big balcony with covering.
Negatives: we arrived during their Independence weekend so most nights were very loud and we could hear everything outside. Lots of vendors on the beach so better to just ignore them.
Housekeeping only occured once within our week. which we wish they did more but just had to ask for a few things we needed.
The resturant downstairs was very good, a little expensive but we ate there almost everyday and enjoyed all of our meals

We loved staying at The Still Beach House! The view is unbeatable, and we enjoyed being able to pop down to the beach from our room. The kitchenette is comfortably equipped - we made breakfast in our room each day to save some money. The rooms aren't the most updated, but they're clean and comfortable - exactly what I would expect at this price point. The owners and staff are kind and welcoming, too.

Property is tucked away with easy access to the beach. Bedroom was good size and nicely air conditioned. There was also a kitchen / living area which was nice but not air conditioned. There was a ceiling fan and a floor fan but room stayed quite warm so we didn't spend much time there. Attached deck was great. Michelle was very accommodating and was available if you needed her. There is an attached restaurant which was handy. Had to use a car service to get to the other beaches, etc.

You can't beat the property as far as location and beautiful view. It was nice to wake up to Petit Piton and the harbor every morning. Can't imagine a more spectacular setting. Great, low key property, enjoyed it better than the snobby properties up at Rodney Bay. Simple, comfortable rooms.

Totally confused by the grouchy wait staff there. They're all in the wrong business, I can't remember any of them smiling or being friendly, kind of ruined the whole vibe of the place. Why such a poor attitude? I didn't want to eat at the restaurant because they brought me down. Big vacation buzz kill. Also, they could have kept the beach a little cleaner, quite a bit of trash out there, but it's not the greatest beach on the island anyway.

I'd stay there again but probably not go to the restaurant even though the food is good.

A hidden gem

This was a true hidden gem! Room was comfortable- great bed, outlets for Americans, kitchenette included. But the view from the patio was the best part! Waking up seeing the water in front, and the Pitons to the left. Absolutely serene and gorgeous! Loved having the restaurant right below and being able to walk right down to the beach from there. The location is perfect- walkable into town. A lot of the excursions we did were a very short drive away. The only reason we didn't give it a 5 was we took 2 nights of ice cold showers. We contacted the property after the first night of cold shower and they were very prompt to respond and say it would be addressed! But that evening it was cold again. We think maybe there were just too many people showering at the same time that couldn't be supported by the water heater, because the next morning the water was warm. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again!! We loved the property and it worked well for our needs!

If you’re here for the view, this is it – stay here. Waking up and seeing the Petite Piton right in front of me with boats of various sizes going across the bay then you will love this place. We had breakfast downstairs at the separate restaurant, and really enjoyed the coconut pancakes and the scrambled eggs. At night, we walked a few minutes down the road to Orlando’s restaurant and had a seven course gourmet meal. It was fabulous and the chef was wonderful. The location of the hotel was dreamy and quiet. It rained at night, and I got beautiful pictures of a palm tree that was lit up at night with the rain falling. The bed was super comfortable and the place was clean. The pipes in the shower has been redone, but the water was warm and enjoyable.

The room over the restaurant and bar had a very nice balcony overlooking the Pitons. It was great being on the beach and walk easily to the restaurant and bar and town. The staff were friendly and helpful. Snorkeling is 50 meters from the beach in very calm waters. Comfortable accommodations. Occasionally the music from the town and bar was loud.

Michelle and the entire staff took very good care of me and my family. Prior to coming she set us up with Paw Paw, who safely drive us around throughout the week. He was incredibly flexible if our plans changed. The restaurant staff downstairs at Seashell worked around the clock during the Xmas holiday week. Peter set us up with an incredible experience snorkeling. We also hiked Gros Piton. The from our room was a dramatic beachfront vista of Petit Piton. My family felt very comfortable and safe in this studio apt with plenty of room to relax and take in the beauty from the balcony. We were in walking distance to downtown Soufriere and frequently visited to get money and groceries. The Still Beach House provided an incredibly relaxing holiday for us all.

We flew to Saint Lucia on a whim without having a chance to plan, and we were lucky to find this gem in the general area that we wanted to explore. Basic accommodations with a comfortable bed and the sound of ocean waves to fall asleep to, with an amazing view to wake up to.
The restaurant downstairs was pricey but delicious and convenient, and was probably the best option in the area by foot.
The only bad part was our timing - someone cut all of the branches off a nearby tree with a chainsaw early morning that interrupted our sleep, but the good news for the next guest is that this project is complete and you’d have an even better view of the beach and water.
Would recommend and we would repeat!

The ocean and piton view from our room was spectacular and definitely a main allure of this place, probably the best view in all of Soufriere. The host, Michelle, was absolutely fantastic, so hospitable and caring. We were flying in from Los Angeles via Miami and got stuck in Miami for 2 days because of a storm.... Michelle accommodated us no problem and we were able to stay 2 extra days/ nights, making up for those 2 first days of our vacation that got ruined. The restaurant at the hotel is great, as well as a couple of others in walking distance. All the staff were kind and attentive, but especially Michelle, who made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. The whole energy of the Still beach house is amazing and it's also centrally located to a plethora of activities like incredible snorkeling, Tet Paul Trail and the Pitons, the Sulphur Springs mud baths, Diamond waterfall and the botanical garden, horseback riding, zip lining, cocoa plantation tours, and so much more! If you choose St. Lucia, which has unrivaled natural beauty, this is the spot, Soufriere is the town to see, and The Still is the place to stay!

Million dollar view of Petite Piton and Sourfiere! Hotel is comfortable and the staff is excellent. The tour of the Boulay Plantation is not to be missed that included an amazing breakfast. Walkable to downtown and convenient to shops and restaurants. The Sea Shell restaurant on the lower level and right on the beach is very good as wel!.

Ok, for starters, the view from the room is absolutely post-card perfect, it really is right on the beach. There's plenty of parking. But that's the end of the pro's list. I know the rooms were cleaned before our arrival, but they're still pretty rough. Sparse furnishings. Rudimentary plumbing. I cant say too much about the \"staff\" because the folks that let us in just happened to be leaving for the day as we arrived... not sure how it would have worked if we'd missed them. Perhaps the restaurant downstairs would have given us the key, but no one there is particularly motivated or helpful. Every time we tried to order something, I had to get up and look around for a server, and when I found one, they seemed bothered by my request. Also, I messaged the property about checkout protocol while we were there... never got a reply.
I'm not trying to damage the owners reputation or business, but we had booked another stay elsewhere for the second half of the trip, and when the time came, we were ready to leave.
Location wise, it looks on a map as if you could stroll along the beach, or walk to town. Not so. Maybe 100 yards down the beach is rough. Like, lots of trash, people bathing and doing laundry in the river, folks around that either gave us unwelcoming looks or offered drugs. Cool that it's not super tourist-y, but it really felt like we were not wanted. The town is very sad, and very intimidating and we really didn't feel safe or like we could relax and look around at all

The still beach house was a great stay. The amenities are basic but it has everything you need. Michelle was nice and helpful and seashells was the best price for great food we found in all of Soufriere. The views were amazing, the wifi was fast for working remotely, and the house keeping staff was so sweet. Captain Peter provided us with awesome excursions. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great time in soufriere and at the still beach house. Close to all the major sites in St. Lucia. On the beach with wake up views of the Pitons. Beach is lively with locals on the weekend. Quick walk into town without steep hills.

The still Beach house is very close to shopping and a lil bar right next door. If you’re looking for a quiet place, this is not it! Tables and chairs are being moved around in the restaurant before 7 am. I don’t mind music but if you are an early to bed kind of person, loud music from bar and boats at least until 10p and mostly til midnight! I didn’t mind. Loved the staff but didn’t appreciate waking up to no breakfast before a 6hrs tour. No apologies or suggestions either. Restaurant and hotel are not affiliated so no room charges, no lounge chairs on beach and sand is hot. The beach in front of the still is beautiful, clear and refreshing! I enjoyed my stay. Annette, the housekeeper, is the best and a fountain of information. Other than Annette and security there are no other hotel employees ☺️ would I go back to the Still? I would but would better prepared!

Felt like a home away from home

Absolutely loved our stay at Still Beach House. The views of Petit Piton from our balcony were breathtaking.

The entire staff of the hotel and connected restaurant were so helpful and just so welcoming. We arrived on Good Friday and Michelle arranged our transport from the airport and offered to get us some groceries (and a lovely bottle of sparkling wine) as most businesses were closed - truly above and beyond.

We had a 1 bedroom suite, which had everything we needed. We felt right at home here and didn’t want to leave.

Spent a great week at The Still Beach House. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, great views. Had all of the amenities too, Friday, microwave, cups, plates etc.

What a fantastic room!! We had a beautiful suite and balcony overlooking the ocean. The manager stopped by to say hello on day one of four, but otherwise the staff was pretty non-existent.

We loved our stay at the Still Beach House the location was in walking distance to downtown and a lovely beach bar. We had dinner at Seashells a few times as it was right down stairs. The view was amazing we loved sitting out on the deck. The room was clean and the air worked great. The shower hook ups were interesting but didn't keep you from getting a shower so not a issue for us. The beds were harder than I prefer but that is always a thing with travel. I would totally stay here again! Sorry about the photos I only had a video so had to screen capture.

Dated room with some issues

Quite a strange place. We'd apparently been moved to a larger room with a kitchen but the toilet didn't flush and the tap didn't work in the bathroom. The netting round the bed was very old and discoloured and everything was very dated. The (I presume) owner was very friendly though and introduced himself at breakfast then arranged a taxi for us to the airport. Just feels like these rooms which are above a restaurant are a bit neglected, which is a shame because the view from the balcony is stunning. A little tlc and updating would go a long way.

Beautiful location!

We loved staying at the Still Beach House in Soufriere! It was a calm, beautiful location. The rooms are huge and comfortable. The staff and owner are friendly. And the restaurant is tasty. Thank you!

View was top, swimmable beach. Good restaurant there for Soufriere i think, but not cheap, bed was nice...firm but soft. It was fine for our first nite in St Lucia. Arrived in dark, hard to find but locals provide direction. Restaurant was good atmosphere, food acceptable, saved us having to go to an unfamiliar town place. Walk to Soufriere main area, all services there. Perhaps the only decent breakfast in town. Overall a good choice to experience authentic Soufriere town.

The property was in a super location, amazing view. Very nice staff.
Close to AAD dive shop, amazing diving, snorkeling right in front as well.
Had a little issue with our booking but it got worked out

Beautiful view with long service time

The location of the resort is spectacular. You are right on the beach looking up at one of the pitons. The service however is lacking. Although everyone is extremely kind, and willing to do what ever it is they need to do for you, it'll take a while.
