We stayed at Ladera Resort in St. Lucia for our honeymoon, spending 8 nights and 9 days, and chose the all-inclusive option. From the moment we arrived, I was brought to tears — and that feeling never left. This resort is truly something special.

Everything exceeded our expectations: the people, the service, the food, the cocktails, and of course, the views. We stayed in Room N, which was on the smaller side but absolutely perfect for us — intimate, peaceful, and exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon.

We dined at Dasheene every single night and still couldn’t get enough. We’ll be dreaming about the shrimp risotto, blackened tuna, and the post-dinner chocolates for a very long time.

The staff are what truly make Ladera unforgettable. A few people deserve special recognition:

Stephanie, who handled our turndown service with such care
Abigail at the front desk, who was always warm and welcoming
Janelle at Dasheene, who went out of her way every night to say hello and make us feel remembered
And our absolute favorite — the gentleman at the Hideaway Rum Bar, who was unbelievably kind and even shared the recipe for our favorite nightly cocktails

I was emotional when we arrived, and just as emotional when it was time to leave. Ladera is not just a resort — it’s an experience, and one we will cherish forever. We cannot wait to return.

The view alone is with the stay. Very friendly staff! Lots of fun amenities on site. Make sure to take advantage of the spa.

The open air room will be an adjustment the first night, but trust me that you get used to it and will ultimately find it to be very pleasant. Yes, birds and moths will pay your room visits but that’s part of the experience! They are harmless.

Information on their website is not the same as it is when you arrive. Our suite was not in the location on the map as marked. The front desk claimed there was just some of the rainbow suites in the \"Petitie Piton rooms\" section of the property that wasn't marked on the map. Either this is true or they gave us a cheaper room than what we paid for. We did not receive a phone or have a working ipad for 2 days. Anytime we needed something we had to go to the desk and ask---their attitude was as if we already knew where things were and that we shouldn't be bothering them. They clean the rooms daily but never clean out the shower floor--which gets a lot of sand and dirt on it from wind/sunlight window. They have you call to pick up your room services dishes but dropped all the rib bones outside our room and left them there. We let them know about this and they didn't clean it up for another 8 hours.
Their food is good but in my opinion not worth the price. They could benefit from a more diverse rotating menu. Especially for people who are staying for a while--the same old food gets boring.

The room overall is an incredible experience with a private pool---however don't ask them to adjust the temp....it seems to be just an \"on/off\" switch they have to adjust on the side of the hill--but they will ask you what specific degree you want it set to....this doesn't happen. When we arrived it was 98 when the pool guy checked it with his therma

Ladera was the resort my GF and went to celebrate my 60th bday. Yes its the BIG one for me. Always wanted to go to SL and finally this was the time. Wanted to stay at Jade mountain because of the room with the view etc but there was no availability so i choose LaDera. Nestled between the 2 piton mountains i dont regret it at all infact imo ets better than JM cause Ladera is right smack in the middle of the mountains. JM was far away from the pitons. And u want to be as close to these majestic mountains as possible. Ladera imo is one of the nicest resorts ive been to and ive been to many many 5 star resorts. What makes any resort great or bad is the staff and imo laderas staff is top notch. 2nd to none. The friendliness of each one of them was amazing. Even people who were working on some renovations who werent even staff were polite. St lucia has some very sketchy neighborhoods and people. I dont know since i didnt really interact with the natives but a lot of them looked kinda scary. Sorry im not inferring any stereotypes but at times i didnt feel safe leaving out rental car when away from the resort. Anyway the views from our room with its own wade pool. The canopied bed. Stocked frig. Shower with its wonderful water pressure. Fully gym. Game room with TV and AC. Hot tubs etc etc. Anyway go to this wonderful place. Caroline the concirerge. Our butlers Cole. Theo. We were fortunate enough to stay at Ladera for our honeymoon!! From the arrival to the departure we experienced such hospitality and friendly smiles. The open room concept was amazing, and a view you will remember forever!

We enjoyed the Soufriere experience excursion, our guide was great and it was a lot to do in one excursion! I’d deff say that was a must do.

The nature trail on the resort was great as well, they don’t mention the stunning view you get to see at the top!! It was so amazing that we did it twice.

One thing I was worried about was bugs but they do a great job cleaning and every night so a turn down service such as lighting mosquito repellents etc. so no complaints there!

My husband already promised coming back for our 5 year anniversary! It’s deff a place we will be visiting again. Thank you Ladera for making our honeymoon perfect.

We had an incredible stay at Ladera Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, everyone was genuinely kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit.

The open-air room concept is absolutely divine. Falling asleep to the sounds of nature and waking up to breathtaking views made the experience feel truly immersive and peaceful. It’s the perfect blend of luxury and the outdoors, incredibly relaxing and unlike any other place we’ve stayed.

The excursions offered were all fantastic and well-organized, adding adventure and variety to our days. Whether it was exploring the local area or enjoying the beauty of the island, each activity was memorable and well worth it.

The only small downside was that not all guests seemed to respect the tranquil atmosphere. With the open design and proximity of the rooms, noise can sometimes carry, which could affect the serene vibe for those looking to fully unwind.

That said, it didn't take away from our overall experience, this is definitely a place we plan to return to.
Ladera is a true gem for anyone seeking a luxurious, nature-infused getaway.

This is a very beautiful, romantic, and unique resort on the beautiful island of St. Lucia. The suite that I stayed at had amazing views, and the open concept with 3 walls made me felt like I was sleeping in a tree house in the middle of a rainforest. During our stay, we had trouble with the WiFi and pool heating system. However, the staff was so great and they quickly fixed it promptly. The mosquitoes was an issue for me, and I wished the bugs repellent worked better.

At the end of the day, each and everyone of the staff was so attentive, helpful and friendly, and they really ensured we had a great experience. I was a bit worried that I might get bored dining at the only restaurant there, but I never get bored of the views and what was on the menu with their daily special. Highly recommended.

Where can I begin? Our stay was nothing short of magical. It was an amazing experience from the moment we stepped off of the plane, to our sad farewells on our last day. We didn't have a hard time locating Vaughn holding the Ladera sign at the airport (he was right there at the exit). As soon as we got in the cab we were offered chilled beverages and got to relax and enjoy the 45 minute scenic ride.

The check-in process was seamless! Sherin was there waiting for us, with the famous and delicious Ladera punch. She was an absolute sweetheart and laughed and celebrated with us upon our first look at our room. I must say that the hospitality at this resort is out of this world. We felt very familiar with everyone.

The room was absolutely perfect. Beyond my expectations and even more spectacular than the pictures! Before arriving I was worried about hearing our neighbors or having them hear us but I never heard anyone else. It felt like we had the resort all to ourselves. It was fully booked for Valentine's day so I was pleasantly surprised that it still felt so intimate and secluded.

The room felt cozy despite their not being a 4th wall. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner privately at our table next to the pool with the gorgeous view! The room had everything we needed, but we still ventured out and explored the property. We fully enjoyed the nature trail and all of the other amenities there. I want to go back tomorrow. Wish I could. See you soon, Ladera!

We loved the breathtaking views and amazing scenery. We chose the Petit Piton suite, which was still very large and spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, credit to Tanisha, Yvete and everyone else working at Ladera, very pleasant people. The restaurant and food options were amazing. The games room was a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours. Unfortunately, our private pool experienced heating issues for several days which left it too hot to use at most times. The room service system had errors. But overall, a fantastic experience.

The views are stunning and that is what you are paying for. The service is not the best. Despite gratuity being added there is an expectation to tip quite highly in addition. Food choices are average/ limited. The facilities and location and services available are fantastic. The nature around does all the hard work. I wouldn’t say it is worth the cost but everything in St Lucia is very expensive for tourists. However, if going to the island once the views here are unparalleled.

Location: the location is superb, right by the Pitons, very close to Volcano, Soufriere, Sugar beach and hiking trails.

Food/Restaurant: food is good but not exceptional, limited choices and varieties. Room for improvement here. The view from the restaurants is incredible.

Services: The staffs are the friendliest people, they went all the way and beyond to accommodate, help and serve. I couldn't thank them enough.

Rooms: We stayed at #K (Gros Piton). It has 2 floors. 1st floor has a sofa, mini bar/sink, dining table/chairs, 2 chaises and a heated plunge pool with a jaw dropping view of both Pitons. 2nd floor has a bed, closet, bathroom and a long bench balcony overlooking the same jaw dropping view. Just love this room.

I enjoyed every minute in Ladera and will certainly return to this paradise in the future.

Ladera is THE place to stay in St. Lucia! This was my second visit to St. Lucia and my second stay at Ladera Resort. The three walled rooms are such a unique concept. Every room faces out to the Caribbean Sea with a view of the Pitons. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with both indigenous, and non-indigenous species. Everywhere on the property is a fabulous view and a feast for the eyes. You feel as though you are a true Eden. The hotel is both rustic and elegant, high end, but not snobbish. The staff is helpful, friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much for them to go out of their way for you.
Dasheene, the restaurant on the premises is run by Chef Nigel,a gourmet chef who specializes in both local and global cuisine.
For my money, the only place to stay in St. Lucia is Ladera Resort!

We had a wonderful stay in a Gros Piton suite. The views are spectacular, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The 'open wall' concept is quite unlike anywhere else we've ever stayed, and made it very memorable - falling asleep to the sounds of the forest was simply magical. Would recommend Ladera to couples looking for peace, privacy and beautiful surroundings.
