The facility is nice, and it indeed only about three miles from the airport. However, the advertising on the website and from their communications were deceptive in two respects: 1) They stated hat w a lk ing from nearest public ublic ran sooratation woujld be simple a nd quick. Neither was true. The recommended exit on S-7 from Vienna was Mannswoerth (last exit before reaching the airport), which is in the midst of a huge industrial complex. Instructions were to walk onto Danubiastrasse and go over the bridge and I would see the hotel. Streets were not marked, and I didn't have my telephone with me. Fortunately, I located one young man in this devoid-of-people area who told me to turn right and continue walking. After I walked at least a mile with heavy luggage ( had been working in Europe for six weeks) in a freezing and nearly dark Vienna suburb , with no markings whatsoever, I finally crossed the \" bridge\" (actually the road over an interstate highway, I saw the nearly hidden hotel on the left. For one who is driving and planning to leave car at airport, it is easily accessible, but the information was incorrect that it was easy for a pedestrian traveling via public transportation. 2) The so-called \"shuttle\" was actually a taxi, which cost 16 Euro. Uber would have been much more economical.

Great hotel near the airport

This is a wonderful hotel near the Vienna airport but it is outside of the Vienna city limits. The food is amazing, the beds are very comfortable and the staff are wonderful. It costs about $38E for an Uber ride into the city. There are no trollies or subways near the hotel.

Perfect stay near the Vienna Airport

We were in Vienna and were booked to travel on to Poland when we had to unexpectedly cancel plans and fly home early. I booked this hotel since it was reasonably priced and really close to the airport. We loved it! The staff was so friendly and the entire property was so clean. Our room was super comfortable and the staff include really nice touches for guests comfort. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and everything was great. The food was very good and prices were definitely reasonable for Vienna. The breakfast bar was well worth the money. They even had a station to fresh squeeze the juice of your choice! I’ve never seen that in a hotel ever. This is the perfect hotel to stay at if you need to stay near the airport.

Hotel Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean but although billed as “non-smoking”, it reeked of cigarette smoke. Restaurant staff was also very friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. It was inconvenient to have to carry my suitcase up the steps from the parking lot to the elevator. Would use again.

The property was good for the price, but they offered me the airport shuttle, which is listed on their website as free, but I was surprised to arrive to the airport and had to pay 40 euros for the shuttle they had provided me. It was almost half the price of the room that I had booked for a long layover.

It was mixed. Couldn’t get a phone signal at the airport and couldn’t get information about the shuttle so took a cab which was 16 euros. Person at the desk was very helpful. We planned to have dinner at the restaurant but it was closed. She sent us to a good local restaurant that was about a mile walk. We didn’t see other options. Shower door in the room was broken. Front desk is closed at night. Tried to go down to coffee machines in the morning but the elevator wouldn’t stop there and door from the stairs was locked. She arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport at 5 am which was good but because the elevator and stairs were locked we had to carry our luggage downstairs. Remote area quite a ways from the airport.

The staff at reception was friendly, but the bartender in the restaurant was not! The room was very hot when we arrived and the standing air conditioner/heater was not very effective. We found that the best way to cool the room was to open the windows. Luckily there was one in the bathroom and the bedroom. The shuttle to the airport was good. The cars were nice and clean; however, it was extremely difficult to figure out where to catch the shuttle from the airport. You have to go to Departures in Terminal 3 to a desk that says something about fixed rate taxis to the city (which doesn't make much sense). For us, it would have been much easier to stay at one of the 2 hotels that are right at the airport.

Hotel itself is not bad, but there is a lot of hidden costs, which you do not see when booking. The breakfest is EU 15 per person, the shuttle supposed to be 10 EU ( by the veceptionist), but when you pay for it- they add some taxes to it so you actually pay over 20EU= more than taxi.
Everithing in room is paid item- including simple sparkling water sitting on the desk ( while the information says- only the items in minbar are payable)

Paul was the most personable, helpful and professional we’ve met in a long time. We all know checking into hotels can sometimes be rather unpleasant but it definitely was not at the Das Reinisch Vienna Airport hotel. It’s a hidden jewel!

Everyone was nice. Room was comfortable, immaculate and the bed, OMG! If you don’t get a good nights sleep on the bed, it’s not the bed.

The room was clean and comfortable. Though there is no AC you get a tower fan/humidifier and the big picture window opens up so it was cool enough at night. There's a very nice restaurant about a 10 minute walk away and a small grocery store right next door. Staff are friendly and the airport shuttle costs 10 euro for one person, but it's still cheaper than a cab. Overall a very nice place to stay overnight if you have a long layover.

No A/C, but fine for airport overnight

I consider myself a savvy traveler, but I forgot that air conditioning is not standard in other countries. It was hot and that fan in the room did not alleviate the heat that much. The window opens fully, but I'm wary of sleeping with windows open in unfamiliar places.

Note: the address provided by Hotels.com does not take you to the check-in desk. We had to walk a few blocks with our luggage after the car dropped us at where we thought the front desk was. The neighborhood is fine but not overly welcoming at least at night when everything is closed.

Close to airport; LOVE the restaurant and sauna!

Employees were top notch, the restaurant in the hotel was EXCELLENT!

There is no A/C but the tall fan they had did just fine with the main window open all night. We were on the street side and there was barely any noise.

No fan in bathroom.

The sauna facility is great! The water has an essential oil or 2 in so when you walk into the area you immediately relax due to the wonderful scent. Showers are in the area as well along with relaxing lounge chairs and I saw a massage table set up. I would not want a massage in such an open area but to each his own. Cold and room temperature water, flat and sparkling available at no charge in the sauna area.

You must go up a short flight of steps to check-in so be prepared to carry your bags.

Shower was nice. Glass door leading to bathroom, we were waiting for one of us to crash into it in the middle of the night but neither did.

No laundry bags, when calling to request them the person had a bit of an attitude stating they were in our room. When I explained that there weren't any, hence why I was calling, she was stern in saying that the front desk would have them. My husband had to get dressed to go down to the front desk to get a couple. Didn't fare well with us.

Breakfast was OK but not the best. 15 Euros for breakfast should have had smoked salmon on the buffet. We specifically asked the front desk person as we checked in if there was smoked salmon on the buffet and she insisted that there was yet there was not.

I normally stay at the NH Vienna which is in the airport. However the hotel was almost three times the rate Rainish so went for it and it was perfect for my needs. Friendly staff, good food and only less than 10 min to the airport by prearranged transportation to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Vienna

Our flight was canceled and we had to spend the night in Vienna. This hotel was great for the low price. The reception team spoke great English and were very friendly. They even offered us their airport shuttle for free the following morning. The room was modern, spacious and clean. I wish we had more time in Vienna. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Convenient, clean. Shuttle service needs improving

The hotel seemed understaffed because as I arrived to check in, a phone was ringing continuously, the front desk clerk was assisting other guests who were checking in. There were 2 staff members standing around, but none answered the phone. The morning I checked out, I called the front desk for assistance with my bags. After not getting my calls answered twice, I tried a third time and got the clerk who said he would be up in 5 minutes. After 10 minutes of waiting, I took my own bags down (the hotel does have an elevator, so not a big issue). As I reached the desk, the clerk was very apologetic for not being able to meet me at my room. He explained he had many guests checking out at the time I had called. He was kind and offered me tea or coffee. I said I was fine. Then the shuttle driver came to take me to the airport. My understanding was that the shuttle service from the hotel to the airport was free, but I was charged almost 11 Euros. The driver took me and another couple to the airport through some back way, where we ended up in a parking lot in the back of the airport. I asked \"where are we?\" and he said \"airport.\" There were no baggage carts, no airport personnel, not a single person to help or ask for assistance. The other couple got their bags and went through the doors and disappeared. I had to carry/roll/push my 3 bags from the parking lot into the building, approx 100 meters distance from where the taxi left me until I found the elevators.

Excellent facility close to everything

We were very pleased with the quality of this hotel. The owner was very personable and checked in with guests at breakfast and was available throughout the day. Staff very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk from a pedestrian walkway with restaurants and shops, leading down to the old city. The bus tours depart from a location that is only a 10 - 15 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast buffet is absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel to persons visiting Salzburg.

Save your money! Sleep in the airport!

Felt like an episode of the Twilight Zone. Hotel was in the middle of nowhere, so the hotel restaurant was the only game in town. Luckily, the food was better than my overall experience. Staff was not helpful at checkin. My key said 316' so I took the elevator to the third floor, walked around lugging my bags, only to discover my room was on the first floor.
Then, when I walked into my room, I was hit with a blast of hot air: no AC! And room was off the street, so between the trucks all night and no AC, I didn't get any sleep.
Should have just stayed in the airport for my overnight layover and connecting flight.

Avoid in summer!

No way this is a 4-star hotel.

We stayed here overnight since we had an early morning flight.

As mentioned my others there is no AC and it was unbearable to sleep in the night. The carpets in the corridor were unpleasant and smelly. The hotel bills itself as an airport hotel but it is a good 10-15 minute drive away.

I would recommend at staying one of the hotels right at the airport - the saving on the cab/shuttle fare might even make for the difference for what you pay extra.

Very nice hotel, not far from airport, great value. Good restaurant lovely staff, only one complaint : no air conditioning, hotel room was uncomfortably warm, although a fan was provided, room stayed warm throughout the night. Window could be opened, however with outside temperature in summer not that low, there was little comfort.

This hotel is a short taxi drive from the airport. Staff speak English. Rooms were modern and clean. Restaurant was good. There is no stores around this area or restaurants so you need to plan on eating at the hotel. The only thing they did not have was air conditioning so the room was very warm.
