This hotel was truly beautiful! The room was spacious and even included a Jacuzzi tub. They offered complimentary all-you-can-drink beer and wine, which was such a nice touch. The staff was very friendly, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I’d definitely stay here again!

Our 1st time staying here. The hotel is off the busy central area of shinsaibashi shopping strip so it was great not to be where its so loud. Lots of dining options and convenient to the subway about 5-7min walk. To get to the busy Dontonbori strip is 10min walk.

Pros:
- Quiet and convenient. Lots of restaurants walking nearby and subway super close
- Hotel room has all the toiletries you need: Shampoo/Conditioner/Bodywash, Face skincare, cotton/q-tips, body scrub, toothbrush/toothpaste, shower cap, hairbrush, razor.
- I like how our room has a separate entry way before fully getting into the room. This way our dirty shoes stay separate from our living/bedroom area.
- Linen spray for those days you go for bbq and wagyu food. You can spray your clothes down to make it smell better and air it out
- Laundry station in the top floor. Cost only 500Yen to wash/dry your laundry. No need to carry so many clothes.
- Hotel helps you ship your luggage through Yamato service.

Cons:
- Not enough places to hang towels for 3 people. They have no wall hanger to hang your towels which I found a bit weird. They had hangers in the closet for clothes, but no where to lang your long towel.
- The washroom cabinet had a rod for your face towel, but definitely nothing to hang your shower towel. So if you travelling with family, be prepared that there is no where to hang your towels or not enough hanger for clothes.

Overall, our stay was great and I do recommend this hotel to anyone.

Christmas and New Years Stay at Grandee

I stayed here over Christmas and New Years with my wife and two kids. Hotel was excellent, and family friendly restaurants were found nearby at PARCO and Daimaru.

I loved the decor and the free amenities offered at the hotel Lounge.

I did want to highlight an issue that was resolved. We checked in our luggage to be delivered to Narita Airport on new years day with the hotel. Unfortunately, the Grandee did not ask for all the necessary information and was unable to ship the luggage in time.

We were stressed out as we were not sure how we could handle the baggage with two young kids through the streets and shinkansen ride. This is when the hotel manager, Ryohei-san, came to our hotel room and offered to make it right by personally driving the luggage from Osaka to Narito Airport, a 7 hour drive! He even refused to take any payment for this as he says it was the Grandee's mistake to fix this issue.

Sure enough, we met Ryohei-san at the airport on Jan 1st with all our luggage. Thank you very much Hotel Grandee for the wonderful stay!

Amethyst room was amazing!

I had a great stay at the Hotel Grandee! The staff were all amazing and friendly and made my stay feel special. The location is great as you are in the centre of everything. The only thing I didn't like was that my room was very dusty and I could see the dust floating under the pot lights at all times. I think the carpets need to be cleaned better.

Great location, just 5 min walk to Shinsaibashi shopping district and 8 mins to Dotonburi. Nearby a few different metro stations.
The room was quite spacious, lots of space to open luggage (for 1 person).
The only thing was that I was beside the elevator and it got kinda noisy with people coming and going with luggages.

It is convenient hotel. Welcoming from the front clerk was very good. The bed is very comfortable and huge size. The both room is very clean and size large. We stayed in a forest room, so the room is beautiful with surrounding green plants. It’s just one thing if the window in the forest room can be opened that we can have some fresh air. We would like to stay again if I visit Osaka again.

Excellent experience in Osaka.

We are happy to stay in here. Hotel nearest shopping centre areas of Osaka. There are a lots of restaurants outside the hotel.Both room very clean and size large. Staffs very friendly and helpful. The bed is very huge, but just a bit soft for us. We have filled live in the garden, because there are many plants surrounding the room. We can get more fresh air, If the window can be opened.

We are staying here three times over a period of a month. Check in second time took 15 minutes. Would have thought they would have been able to bring up all our details from their system and we just sign and take the keys. Had to do all the paper work again. Not what you want when you are hot and tired. They have a fabulous 45th floor bar but it closes at 11pm every night which seems nuts.

Only feedback: Please have more variety at breakfast! We had almost the exact same food for all 3 days (literally 95% similar).

Beautiful space ! I was shocked at how amazing the layout of the forest room was. The only thing to really look out for is that there are not a lot of outlets for charging by the bed.

Everything else was amazing. I will come back during my next stay !

Comfort Stay but Below Average Service.

We booked a suite room and the room was very spacious, nicely designed with a built-in aquarium and a large bathtub with branded amenities provides. Very less number of staff can speak and understand English, so it was very hard for us to communicate with them, especially regarding the accident that we encountered in our room. We received minimum assistance from the staff and even have to provide suggestions to solve the issue. Overall, it was a great stay at the hotel as it is located near tourist spots and the bed was very comfortable as well.

Always love to stay there while in Osaka. Very classy and usually expensive hotel but they have a economic single room which is excellent.
Good breakfast, high grade coffee machine free of use during the day (Matcha Latte and such) and a bar in the evening.

Booked a twin room, very clean and spacious. Amenities were beyond expectations in terms of what you get from the standard. Even had a toddler/kid bathroom set with their own toothbrush, sponge and rubber ducky, and you get a new set everyday. Very thoughtful and well equipped. Bathroom was amazing with spa included. Highly recommended.

Location is good, not fantastic as you need to walk through a few red light district alleyways and blocks. In saying that, you still feel safe as it is well lit and many tourist around.

We're a family of four and we had two premium twin rooms on the 2nd floor which meant a total of FOUR double beds (one each, what bliss!). The rooms are enormous by Japanese standards with a sofa, a wet room complete with spa tub (big enough for two), separate toilet and a mini kitchenette inside a wardrobe incase you need a microwave, fridge or espresso (4 pods supplied daily).

There's minimal natural light as the hotel is sandwiched between two other buildings but the in-room lighting is fine and you can guarantee a quality sleep. The TV was HUGE with on demand movies, but we didn't spend any time watching these as there was so much to see and do in Osaka.

Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. All the staff were super lovely and helpful.

Location Wise, this hotel is near to 2 train stations (Nagahoribashi Station, Sakaisuji line / Shinsaibashi Station, Midosuji line), 2 convenience stores nearby, and near to the Shinsaibashi street that you could do shopping especially drugstores, lots of restaurant and street foods to explore. Walking distance to Ebisu bridge(connecting with Shinsaibashi street) and Dotombori street.
This location may not be ideal for travellers who looks to travel out of Osaka as you need to take train at either Osaka Namba Station / Osaka Umeda Station (take a train from Shinsaibashi station or take a walk over to these station), i.e. to Kyoto / Kobe etc.

The accommodation itself, I booked the Calligraphy room that has 2 queen bed. The room was spacious(much spacious than i thought from the picture) and tidy, equipped with aircon(warm/cold) + humidifier (very useful during the dry season i'm visiting ) + nespresso coffee machine + bvgalri toiletries + a nice bathtub and so on. The only downside was the room light was too dim, not bright enough when you want to dress up/make up.

Overall it was a good stay, with the friendly staffs and also they are providing coupon of free drinks in the evening (1 drink per person per day).

What a wonderful little hotel!

The location was great (a few mins from the biggest shopping and eating area in Osaka), close to subways and railways. This is the first hotel I've been to that has a hair straightener in the room. Staff was friendly and everything was clean. I would definitely come back here if I was to go to Osaka again.

Wonderful friendly staff!

The staff were so lovely! This is my fifth time in Japan and this is my favorite so far. The premium rooms were huge by asian standards and have a funky modern design with a gigantic bathroom. The beds were both queen sized even in my twin room. Hotel is near all the action and train stations are nearby. I will be staying here again when i am in Osaka!! Thankyou again to the staff at the Grandee

Arrived at hotel to find a building site!

When we booked this hotel there was no mention on Expedia of the extensive renovations currently taking place. There was a small army of workmen all over the unfinished steps to the entrance, up which we had to carry heavy cases as there was no alternative ramp. Reception area was enclosed in a kind of capsule and rest of ground floor seemed to be a building site. There was no restaurant, contrary to Expedia details. We paid extra for a continental breakfast but the receptionist didn't understand what this was (in English) and the only breakfast offered was Japanese style delivered to our room on trays and covered in cling film. Our room itself was beautifully decorated and spacious but with no windows and very gloomy with terrible spotlights making the immediate surrounding area very dark. The bathroom was superb, however, with a jacuzzi bath as well as a good shower.

L’hôtel parfait à Osaka

Très beau lobby, super loundge avec bière, vins etc… à disposition entre 13h et 22h. Il y a même une petite terrasse dans le loundge. Les chambres sont très grandes, double lit 160, baignoire bouillonnante. Enfin super situation géographique.

YouTuberとしてランニングを中心にもホテルも取り上げていますがここのホテルはデザインアーティストが手掛けたホテルとして有名で快適な空間を過ごせます。
614号室に泊まり、キングサイズのベット、テーブルとディスクワークタイプテーブル、豊富なアメニティ、マイクロバスの入浴と室内で楽しめる時間を味わえました。
よくホテルは外の眺めに視点が行きがちですが、ここは室内の目の行き所が目に優しい光になって居心地良いです。

YouTubeの動画編集に時間を当てながら室内で外から購入したもので乾杯を楽しんだり、入浴ライトに癒されたりと素敵な時間を過ごす事ができました。
